As per the Jataka Tattwam ‘Shashto Vivek Adhyay’ Stanza number 13, ‘if the lord of the 6th house is in the lagna then native defeat his enemies’. This classical texts has termed sixth lord in the lagna as ‘Shatru-Hanta’ i.e. one who kills his enemy. But that 6th lord should be strong or associated with benefic planets for the lagna which means it should be in association or aspect with lord of 5th and/or 9th houses. In the Tula (Libra) lagna horoscope of Rahul Gandhi the lord of 6th house is Jupiter which is Vargottama in the lagna and is in mutual aspect with 4th and 5th lord Saturn. Many Congressman are comparing Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification with her Grand Mother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s case in 1977. In October 1977 Indira Gandhi and her four former ministers were arrested after the action of Janata Party Government on the charges of corruption and misuse of power on them during emergency in 1975. Indira Gandhi was disqualified from Lok Sabha but she took this as an opportunity to get public sympathy. A year after her arrest, which lasted for 16 hours only, she won Lok Sabha by-poll election from Chikmangaloor. Indira Gandhi later become Prime Minister after her party won General elections in 1980.
It will be too early to make a forecast on the effects of Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from the parliament on General Elections in 2024 but we can study on the basis of current dasha his political prospects in near future.

In the Libra lagna horoscope of Rahul Gandhi the Kemadrum Moon and the presence of few ‘Paap Kartari Yoga’s in the chart has made him struggle a lot during the last 9 years in the politics. The sub-sub period of Venus is running which is the lord of lagna in enemy sign and is debilitated in Navamsha which explain this event of disqualification from Parliament. But will this Rahu-Jupiter-Venus period (2 March 2023 to 26 July 2023) is capable of giving him relief from the court ?
