Amit Shah is the longest serving home minister of the country. He is chief strategist of the ruling BJP at the center and ardent ally of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since May 2019 he is holding the office of Home Minister of the country when BJP got re-elected in general elections. And since July 2021 he got the additional responsibility as the minister of co-operation. He graduated with a B.Sc degree in biochemistry and joined his father’s business before entering into politics later. The horoscope of Amit Shah is a classical examples how great Raja Yoga’s in Chandra Kundali can lift the career of a native event though he has only a single Raja Yoga in his birth chart and there is no natural benefic in Kendra. In the birth chart of Amit Shah the mutual aspect between the 9th lord Venus and 5th lord Saturn is a good Raja Yoga. From the lagna there is a bad exchange between the 2nd lord Venus and 12th lord the Sun, and also the 8th lord Mars in exchange of houses with 11th lord the Moon. In the birth chart of Amit Shah a major “BhandhaYoga” is also present as equal number of planets are at the 6/12 axis. As per Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Prashna Marg and Brihat Jataka when equal number of planets are in the 2/12, 3/11, 4/10, 5/9 or 6/12 axis from the Janma lagna then a yoga for imprisonment is caused. The rest of the Rahu Maha Dasha was good for Amit Shah. As a home minister of the country he got fame due to his major policy decisions like Abrogation of Article 370 (August 2019), Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), New Criminal Laws (July 2024), success against Naxal violence movement, overhauling on anti terror and anti drug trafficking laws, enhancing border security etc. But he is also being criticized by the opposition parties for suppressing the voices of dissent against the government by the use of central investigating agencies.
