The French  Presidential Elections are schedule  to  be held on the 18th of April 2027,  with  a  second round of voting on  2nd  of May if no  candidate secure (50% +1) majority  vote. Since the French constitution  limits  maximum two consecutive   Presidency   terms  so  the incumbent President Emmanuel Macron is ineligible  to  fight elections. Among the Liberal Parties coalition ‘Ensemble’  the  former Prime  Ministers   Gabrial  Attar    and Edouard Philippe  are competing with each  other.  The Far Right group National Rally  has popular leader Marine Le  Pen  fighting for the top post again.  The  Left Wing leader veteran  Jean-Luc Mélenchon is leading his Party La France Insoumise and is pitched for his fourth run  for the Presidential  Elections.  The horoscope of Marine  Le  Pen  is under  favorable  Maha Dasha  of Rahu  and Anter Dasha of Venus which  can  give her  victory  in the French Presidential Elections in  2027. 

Marine Le Pen is likely to be challenged  by Left wing veteran  leader Jean-Luc Melechon  who’s horoscope is also  under  good Dasha-Bhukti to reach in the second round of elections.

Édouard Philippe was  prime  minister of  France  from 15th of  May 2017  to 3 July 2020 under President Emmanuel  Macron.  In the Scorpio lagna birth chart of Edouard Philippe (chart 1) the lagna is Vargottama and  there is a major Raja Yoga of the 9th lord the Moon in  conjunction with 10th  lord  the Sun. As per Brihat Parashara  Hora  Shastra the conjunction  of the Sun  and  Moon is a  best possible  Raja Yoga  for native  born in  Scorpio  ascendant. 

But Edouard  Philippe was born on  the day of Amavasya on Saturday ruled  by Saturn  and in an inauspicious  ‘Atigandha Yoga’.  The Gulika is in the Janma  lagna and  the placement of  8th lord Mercury in  the lagna is  a  weakness  in his horoscope. The noticeable  point in  the horoscope of  Edouard  Philippe is the bad placement of lagna and 6th lord Mars in the 12th house. Mars falls into  the 12th  house in Rashi,  Navamsha  and  Dashamasha  charts.

The Virgo lagna chart of left wing leader  Melenchon (chart 2) looks  very powerful for a good  political career. The 5th  lord Saturn  is  in the lagna in mutual aspect with  4th and 7th lord  Jupiter and  also  11th  lord the Moon.  The lagna lord  Mercury is in   the 12th house  but is is with 9th lord  Venus and also 12th  lord  the Sun. The left front candidate Melenchon’s chart has a major weakness  of  the conjunction  of  Ketu with  lagna and 10th lord Mercury which is  a combination  of losses. Also, his Venus and  Mercury Raja Yoga for Virgo ascendant has become weak as it is flanked  by  Saturn  and Mars on  the both side getting into a bad ‘Paap  Kartari  Yoga’.

In the  Navamsha chart of  Melenchon Rahu  is in  the lagna. The 10th lord is Mars which in  Navamsha falls into the 8th house.  Aquarius sign rise in  Navamsha which is the 6th house of Rashi chart is another negative point in  his  chart.

Moon Maha Dasha of Melenchon

The Maha Dasha  of  11th lord  the Moon involve in a  very  good Gaja  Kesari  Yoga  is a positive thing for Melenchon. The Maha Daha of  the Moon  will run  from May  2022 to May  2032 in  the Virgo lagna chart o Melenchon during which he can make  his party  do well in French Legislative Elections in  June 2029.  But at the time  of Presidential  Elections in April-May  2027 the Vimshottari Maha Dasha of the Moon Anter Dasha of Saturn and Pratyanter Dasha of  Venus in  the horoscope of Melenchon may not give him the position of French President for which he is aiming at present.

The Moon is in  friendly sign in Pisces  in Rashi chart and  it is in  own  Navamsha.  In  Dashamasha  it is  in Scorpio in  the sign of its debilitation  in  good ‘Neecha  Bhanga’.  But the Anter Dasha  lord  Saturn  is not involve  in any  major Raja  Yoga  or Dhana  Yoga  in the Navamsha and Dashamasha charts of Melenchon  is a weakness in his chart at present.

The far right popular leader Marine Le  Pen  has  earlier ran  for French  Presidency  in 2012,  2017  and also in 2022.  In Rahu Dasha and Ketu  Anter Dasha in  2025 Marine Le Pen came into controversy when she  and 20  other members of National Front were convicted in  an embezzlement  of European Parliament Funds case and a  bad  was put on  her  to hold  any political office for 5 years. But later in  2026 when her auspicious Venus Anter Dasha started showing her good effects her sentence was  reduce  and  she  was allowed to  run  for  the 2027  French Presidential  Elections.

Strong Moon in  Marine Le Pen  horoscope
