Forecasting Hindu New Year 2021-22 for India (13 April 2021 – 02 April 2022)

In the system of Tajik or Annual horoscope if the rising sign of lagan in Varshaphala is similar to the Janma lagna (birth ascendant) of the native then that year is called ‘Dwi-Janma-Lagna’. A year when rising sign of annual horoscope is similar to the Janma lagna of the person is considered very sensitive in general. Similarly if the Hindu New Year chart or Pisces New Moon has the rising sign same as the National Horoscope of the country then that year is also found to be highly sensitive for the nation. This year for India the rising sign of Hindu New Year is Taurus (Vrishabha), which is identical with her Janma langa of the foundation horoscope. So the astrological forecast for the Hindu New Year 2021-22 has to be made carefully taking into consideration the above mention aspect. Moreover, in the background of ongoing corona virus pandemic the current ‘Rakshasa Samvatsara’, as per North-Indian method, is also very sensitive.

12 April 2021, 08:00 am at Delhi

The Pisces New Moon or Hindu New Year chart is cast for the time when Sun and Moon conjoined in the Pisces (Meena) Rashi at the same degrees. This astrological phenomena will occur on 12^th of April on Monday in 2021 when Taurus will be rising in the ascendant at 08:00 am IST. On Monday (12th of April) it will be Krishna Amavasaya and Chaitra Shukla Pratipada will be on the Tuesday at the time of Sun rise so the King of the Year will be day lord of Tuesday i.e. Mars. Interestingly Mars has become the minister of the year also as when the Sun enter into Aries this year on Tuesday on the 13th of April. So the King and Minister of the year is a hard malefic planet Mars this year. As per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar and Varsha Probodha this is consider highly inauspicious. Moreover, Mars as the King and minister of the year is in exchange with lagna and 6th lord Venus can bring sex scandals, crime against women and foreign plot against country during the beginning of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada on the 14th of April 2021. These trends may continue for the remaining year also.

What Mars brings as the King of Hindu New Year?

As per Varahmihir’s Brihat Samhita, Chapter Number 19 ‘Graha-Varsha-Phala-Adhyay’ when Mars become the King of the year “ then it gives fear from major fire accidents, wind storms, wild fire, violence by dacoits and thieves, loss of wealth and animals, highly irregular rainfall, loss of crops by lightening from the sky, misadventures by kings, spread of disease specially those of Pitta aliment etc.”

In the Hindu New Year chart Mars as the lord of 7^th house and also of the 12^th house is placed in the lagan along with malefic Rahu, which is indicating fear of war and an emergency like situation in the country. This year will also give troubles from increase in violence in the society, theft, robbery, sex crimes and erratic rainfall.

It is in the 2^nd consecutive year when Mars is afflicting the lagna and 7^th house both in the Hindu New Year horoscope. Last year the rising sign of Hindu New year was Cancer with Mars and Saturn in the 7^th house. We had seen so much of disturbances then on the borders of China. The menace of corona virus pandemic had also given huge losses to our economy. The year 2021 will also be very sensitive especially till the end of the summer. But there is also some hope for the recovery of economy by the end of 2021 as in the Hindu New Year horoscope Sun, Venus and Moon are strongly placed in the 11th house of gains. The corona virus vaccination drive will give very good results and by the end of 2021 this pandemic will start coming under control.

In the foundation horoscope of India the Vimshottari Dasha of Moon-Saturn is running from 10^th of December 2019 to 10^th of July 2021. Moon and Saturn both are in the 3^rd house showing border tensions. The transiting Saturn will be in Capricorn and Jupiter in Aquarius during the summer of 2021. Interestingly in 1962 when China had attacked India in the month of October then also Saturn was transiting in Capricorn and Jupiter was in the Aquarius. Mars at that time was transiting in the Cancer sign in the 3^rd house of national horoscope. The similar situation of transiting planets will occur in June 2021 when transiting Saturn will be in Capricorn in the Shravana Nakshtra, Jupiter in Aquarius in Shathabhisha and Mars will be in Cancer Rashi. Rahu will also be transiting in Taurus sign in the sensitive Rohini Nakshtra. In the middle of 2021, China can attack India’s border with the secret help from Pakistan. This was between India and China, if happen, can only be ended by Russian intervention.

Public Protests foreseen in 2021-2022 in India

The transit of Saturn from Shravana Nakshatra and Rahu from Rohini also indicate public protests across the globe and also in India. When the Nakshtra’s of Moon come under the influences of hard malefic planets then unrest in the public can come on the streets opposing the ruling elites of the country. In India it could be on the issues of labour laws, Uniform civil code, implementation of CAA and NRC and on some matters of farmers.

Manufacturing sector will revive from recession

Now again come to the chart 1, of Hindu New Year horoscope where Sun as the 4^th lord is conjoined with 5^th lord Mercury and also 3^rd lord Moon. These planets are under the aspect of 9^th and 10^th lord Saturn. This is a very good Dhana Yoga which indicate recovery of economy because of involvement of defence manufacturing sector in particular. The Minister of the year is Mars as Sun will enter into Aries on Tuesday only on the 13^th of April night. In the Hindu New Year chart the minister of the year Mars is in the 12^th house of losses and is in exchange with lagna lord Venus. This will bring some foreign investments also to revive Indian economy.

This recovery of economy is likely to start after July in the Vimshottari dasha of Moon-Mercury in the national horoscope of India (chart 2) given above.

Emergency like situation foreseen in India in 2021-22

Mars and Rahu in the lagna of the Hindu New Year chart are not good for the ruling elites of the country. The lagna or ascendant in the mundane horoscope signify the ruler of the country and also his cabinet. The 8^th house signify the misshaping for the important persons and cabinet minister of the country or national mourning. In the Hindu New Year chart the 8^th house is getting the aspect of 7^th lord Mars which is inauspicious. The 8^th house is also in “Paap-Kartari” as it is hemmed between Ketu and Saturn from both the sides. In Navamsha Mars is in the 8^th house and the 8^th lord falls in the 12^th house. So it indicate an unfortunate events with some VVIP’s, death of important leaders and also major shuffle in the cabinet. Many high profile leaders and celebrities of the country will suffer from corona virus pandamic this year.

In the horoscope of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Vimshottari dasha of Mars-Mars would be running from December 2020 to May 2021 and then Mars-Rahu would be running from May 2021 to May 2022. As per Sage Parashara Mars is the functional malefic for Scorpio lagna as its ‘Moola-Trikona’ Rashi Aries falls in the 6^th house. The transiting Ketu on his Janma Nakshtra Anuradha in the second half of 2021 and in early 2022 can adversely affect his health and position.

Planets and Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2021

The state of Tamil Nadu is undergoing an assembly election process which is her first elections after the demise of legendary Jayalalithaa and M. Karunanidhi . These two heavyweight political leaders of Dravidian parties were the chief minister of the state for many years alternatively. This time the contest is between AIADMK led by chief minister Eddapaddi K. Palaniswami and DMK chief M.K. Stalin. The Gemini lagna horoscope of Eddapaddi K. Palaniswami is under weak dashas which indicate that he will not get re-elected and there shall be a new government led by M.K. Stalin who can win Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2021. I had discuss the horoscope of M.K. Stalin earlier in 2019 forecasting his rise and chief ministership in future. The DMK is fighting the elections in alliance with Congress party while AIADMK has BJP as its partner in the state. However, both these national parties Congress and BJP do not have any strong base in the state.

Mr. Stalin has recently issued a vision document of her party in which he has promised to give Rs. 1000/- per month to every ration card hold housewife. The DMK has also promised to increase the budget allocation of education and health by 3 times. The incumbent AIADMK in a bid to win third consecutive term has promised ‘Washing Machine’ to every household, waving education loan, case assistance of Rs. 1500/- to every women head of the family etc. The Tamil Nadu Chief minister Palaniswami had earlier hard time with his senior party leader and former Chief Minister O. Pannerselvam. Now when both these leaders have made a compromise and have also managed to pursue Sasikala to quit politics, it will be a nice contest in the elections as AIADMK votes will not split.

Tamil Nadu chief minister E.K. Palaniswami has a very strong Gemini lagna horoscope in which 9th lord Saturn is in the 5th house of ministership. The lagna lord Mercury is in the 9th house of luck but is under the aspect of 6th lord Mars. Palaniswami become the chief minister of state in very difficult circumstances on 16 February 2017. His party was struggling after the death of Jayalalithaa. Former chief minister O.Panneerselvam was fighting a political battle with senior leader Sasikala within in the party. In this turbulent time Palaniswami took the charge and consolidated the organization with great efficiency. See the 3rd lord Sun strongly placed in the 10th house of power along with 5th lord Venus. The 3rd house is the house of efforts. As per Sage Parashara the 3rd lord in the 10th house make one very courageous. It was during Saturn-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari (October 2015 to August 2018) when Palaniswami took the office of Tamil Nadu chief minister. Rahu the sub period lord is in the 7th house of ‘Pada Prapti’.

But the depositor of Rahu is Jupiter which falls in the 12th house and is in mutual aspect with Mars the lord of 6th and 11th houses. This Jupiter-Mars opposition at the 6/12 axis gave him a lots of troubles within his own party. But since Rahu, the anter dasha lord, was strongly placed in the Navamsha and Dashamsha charts so it made him retain the post despite of all the hurdles.

In Saturn-Jupiter period (August 2018 to February 2021) in Vimshottari Palaniswami consolidated his position in state politics by implementing the electoral promises made by Jayalalithaa in 2016. His simplicity and ability to implement welfare schemes won the heart of millions making him the most popular face in his party AIADMK. See Jupiter in the 12th house is in exchange with 12th lord Venus which shows his success in implementing welfare measures. The 12th house is specifically related with welfare measures in the house of politicians. In Navamsha Jupiter is with Sun in beautiful ‘Raja Lakshan Yoga’. Now his Mercury maha dasha has just started which is not involve in any good yoga but is strongly placed in the 9th house of luck. As per a Parashari principals a plant can’t gives its full results, good or bad, in its own anter dasha. So during Mercury-Mercury period (February 2021 to July 2023) he is expected to get a moderate success in the elections.

As per Jaimini Chara Dasha it is the period of Leo-Aries from February 2021 to July 2021. Amatayakaraka Jupiter is placed in Taurus which is 10th house from Leo and 2nd house from anter dasha Rashi Taurus. But Atamakaraka Mars is in Scorpio which is the 8th house from anter dasha Rashi Aries. So despite a decent performance he will not get re-elected as chief minister for a second term.

The Taurus lagna horoscope given above is of the former chief minister O. Pannerselvam who is currently deputy to the chief minister E.K. Palaniswami. The Taurus lagna chart of Paneerselvam has 9th and 10th lord Saturn in the 5th house which is in mutual aspect with 3rd lord Moon. But the 5th house of ministership Mercury goes into the 8th house. He served three times as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu mostly in the absence of Jayalalithaa. He was very close to then party chief Jayalalithaa. On 6 December 2016 he become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu for third time after the death of Jayalalithaa. It was Vimshottari dasha of Rahu-Saturn running (March 2014 to January 2017) in his horoscope. Rahu and Saturn are both at 6/8 axis so he has to relinquish his post as he was facting very tough opposition within the party from senior leader Sasikala.

In Rahu-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari he made a comeback and sworn-in as the deputy chief minister in August 2017. Now he is the most powerful minister in the AIADMK government with holding finance, housing, urban development, town planning etc. portfolios. Rahu is strongly placed in the 10th house of power in his birth chart with Mars and Jupiter. But Rahu-Venus dasha current (September 2020 to September 2023) is a period of transition for him Venus gives bad results for Taurus lagna natives as per Parashari rule. Venus falls in the 12th house from dasha lord Rahu. In Dashamsha Venus is in the 6th house of disputes which is not good for Panneerselvam.

But in Chara Dasha Aries-Taurus period is running from January 2021 to November 2021. Amatayakaraka Venus is in Capricorn which is in the 10th from Aries and 9th from Taurus sign. So under his leadership party will do well in the assembly elections but may not win the contest.

During Saturn-Moon-Mercury (from April 2021 to July 2021) he will surely become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu by winning with a good margin. The Antra lord Mercury is 11^th lord of gains and is strongly placed.

Saturn-Moon-Mercury period will be very good for Stalin’s political career as these three dasha lords are strong in his Dashamsha chart. Saturn is along with Jupiter and is in mutual aspect with strong Moon in the 9th house of luck. Mercury the sub-sub period lord is taking lordship of lagna and 10th house in Dashamsha. He will surely become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu after this elections.

In Chara Dasha Pisces-Leo period is running October 2020 to September 2021. In the birth chart of Stalin Pisces is the 5th house in which his Putrakaraka Mercury and Amatayakaraka Mars are making a good Jaimini Raja Yoga. Leo is the 10th house having his Atamakaraka Moon. So after tough elections Mr. Stalin is likely to become the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

Horoscope of Sarbananda Sonowal and Assam Assembly Elections 2021

In Assam the incumbent BJP chief minister Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal will be fighting the elections along with Asom Gana Parisha (AGP) as its main ally like they did in year 2016. Another ally of NDA Bodoland People’s Front has left them just recently which is a big set back for the BJP considering the fact that they had 12 legislative members in the assembly. The horoscope of Sarbananda Sonowal is under difficult maha dasha of 6th lord Moon which is in mutual opposition with Saturn and Jupiter placed in the 12th house of losses. Sarbananda Sonowal is expected to give a tough fight to the Congress led alliance ‘Mahajot’ but may not get re-elected.

The opposition party Congress had made alliance with Badruddin Ajmal’s AIUDF and Left Parties to fight for 125 assembly seats. Congress led alliance would be seeking votes in the background of anti CAA protests in year 2019 and 2020. The 1985 Assam Accord had set a cut-off of the mid night of March 1971, for the detection of ‘illegal foreigners’ in Assam while the CAA passed by the BJP government violated Assam Accord by extending the cut-off for accepting non-Muslim migrants up to December 31, 2014. Interestingly Prafulla Kumar Mahanta of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) had signed the Assam Accord with central government in 1985 when Rajiv Gandhi was the prime minister of India. Now it will be difficult for the AGP to handle anger of Assamese population in the upper Assam region where NDA is likely to get some major set backs. This matter of national importance will have its say during the assembly election in Assam and also in West Bengal both having Muslim population in large numbers.

I got this horoscope of Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal from an astrologer friend in Assam. The Aquarius lagna horoscope of Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal clearly explain why he has remained unmarried even at the age of 59. In his horoscope the 7^th house of marriage has Rahu while the 7^th lord Sun is debilitated and is in conjunction with a malefic Mars. The Karaka for Marriage Venus is also deblitated and is hemmed between malefic Rahu and Sun from both sides. The 7th house from Moon has the Saturn and Jupiter. The 7th house from Venus get the bad apsect of Saturn and the 7th lord from Venus is debilitated. The aspect of Saturn from the 12^th house to the 7^th lord Sun shows a denial of marriage. As per Jaimini system Darakakaraka is Saturn which is in conjunction with Ganatikaraka Jupiter. The conjunction or mutual aspect between Darakaraka and Ganatikaraka shows lack of happiness in marriage or denial of marriage if some other yoga’s are present indicating the same.

In Navamsha the 7th house from lagna and Moon is in ‘Paap Kartari’ as it is flanked by Rahu and Mars from both sides. The 7th lord Venus is in mutual opposition with Saturn which is not good for marital comforts. The analysis of the 7th house/lord from Janma lagna, Chandra lagna, Venus and Navamsha lagan amply explain in the horoscope of Sarbananda Sonowal the denial of marriage yoga’s.

Sarbananda Sonowal had become chief minister in May 2016 when he was under Moon-Moon period in Vimshottari. Moon as the 6^th lord is in own sign Cancer in mutual aspect with Jupiter and Saturn. The Gajakesari Yoga is present in both Rasi and Navamsa in the horoscope of Mr. Sonowal. In Dashamsha Moon is in the fith house in own sign along with Mars and get the aspect of lagan and 10th lord Jupiter which is very good.

But Jupiter is weak in birth chart and its bad results were came during Moon-Jupiter period (January 2019 to May 2020) when in Assam there were public protest against the NRC process which were being conducted at the order of apex court. Now in Moon-Saturn-Moon (from 16 April 2021 to 4 June 2021) period in Vimshottari in the chart of Mr. Sonowal he will be fighting for the re- elections. Moon and Saturn are at 6/12 axis from his Janma lagan which is not very good. As per Sage Parashra Moon-Saturn or Saturn-Moon periods in Vimshottari can give mental agonies. But both these planets are placed in their own sign and in Navamsa they are strongly placed in the 3/11 position from each other. So his party BJP will perform well under his leadership but since Dasha lords are not involve in any major Raja Yoga’s so he may narrowly miss the chance of getting re-elected again. The noticable point here is that his maha dasha lord Moon is functional malefic for Aquarius lagna. The lagna lord Saturn is associated with ‘Maraka Jupiter and get the aspects of 6th lord Moon. There is also an aspect of 3rd and 10th lord Mars on the anter dasha lord Saturn which will induce him for a aggressive poll campaign.

In Chara Dasa Libra-Virgo period would be running from December 2020 to November 2021. Libra has his Amatayakaraka Mars and Matrikaraka Sun placed in it. Virgo is the Rashi of 8th house from Janma lagna and itis also his Karakamsha lagna where his Atamakaraka Mercury is placed. The 12^th house from Virgo get the Jaimini aspects of Saturn, Jupiter, Sun and Mars out of which Mars is the Amataykaraka. So despite an excellent performance by his party he may not able to form the government in Assam this time.

Deceptive horoscope of Mamata Banerjee and West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021

The Election Commission of India has announced the full schedule of voting in four state and one union territory assembly polls. The assembly polls will be conducted between 27 March to 29th of April and results will be announced on the 2nd of May 2021. Out of these 5 states the West Bengal elections will be the most fierce and politically very important. For astrologers it would be very difficult to judge the outcome of these assembly elections for many reasons including the non availability of the horoscopes of top leaders of these states and regional parties. Earlier in 2016 i had discussed on my blog why the birth data of Mamata Banerjee is deceptive and should not be trusted at all. Many astrologers would be making predictions on the same basis of the horoscope of Mamata Banerjee cast using her official birth records, which gives 5 January 1955. Some astrologers are taking Leo and some Sagittarius as her birth ascendant. But when the day and year of birth in the official birth data is wrong then how come we can cast the correct horoscope for her ? As per chief minister Mamata Banerjee ‘She is 5 years younger than her official age’. This fact is published in her biography and was covered by the national media in January 2012. When we google keywords, “Mamata Banerjee younger than her age” we get so many news reports about this matter like the links given below.

The published biography of Mamata Banerjee is available with the title ” My Unforgettable Memories” where she tells us “I was not even 15 when I wrote my school final examination and would have been disqualified for being underage. So, my father gave a fictitious age and birthday to get around the problem. The result: a new birthday and five years added to my real age,” writes Banerjee.

Apparently ‘Didi’ was born on October 5, instead of January 5, as the book says that her mother had once given her a horoscope with that date mentioned in it.” When Banerjee once confronted her mother over the mistake in her official date of birth, she had replied, “Darling, we are not city-bred people. Neither you nor your elder brother was born in a hospital. Where would I get a birth certificate detailing your birthday and year?”.

As per my humble understanding astrologers should not cast the horoscope of Mamata Banerjee using her official birth data which is deceptive and fictitious only.

In West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh is challenger to the Mamata Banerjee for the post of chief minister as Left-Congress alliance is too fragile to give any competition to the incumbent government. The horoscope of BJP chief in West Bengal is given below.

The Pisces lagna horoscope of Trinmoola Congress Party (TMC) is very strong as there is a beautiful exchange between lagna lord Jupiter and 11^th lord Saturn. Then we have this conjunction of 5^th lord Moon, 9^th lord Mars, lagna and 10^th lord Jupiter and the 3^rd and 8^th lord Venus in the 11^th house of gains which explain the success stroy of this regional party. Interestingly the zodiacal sign of West Bengal, as per late B.V. Raman, is Gemini from where Saturn was transiting in the 4^th house and Jupiter was in the 10^th house in Pisces. So in 2011 when there was change of government in West Bengal the transiting Saturn and Jupiter were at the Virgo-Pisces axis i.e. at 4/10 axis of its zodiacal sign Gemini. Now during the assembly elections this year the transiting Saturn would be in Capricorn at the 8^th house from the zodiacal sign of West Bengal. Jupiter will come into Aquarius, in the month of April, at the 9^th house of West Bengal’s zodiacal sign. So the transit Saturn position is worrisome for the incumbent government while Jupiter’s better placement is a saving grace when we study it from the angle of zodiacal sign of this state.

At the time of assembly elections TMC would be under Rahu-Venus-Jupiter in Vimshottari from January 2021 to June 2021. Rahu and Venus are in the 6/8 position which is bad for this party who is losing its members as they are flocking into the rival BJP camp since last two years in large numbers. But then Bhukti lord Venus is exalted in Navamsa and Antra lord Jupiter is also strong in Navamsa lagna. The transiting Saturn over the Janma Nakshatra of TMC in the birth chart and in Navamsa it is in the 8^th from her Moon is not good. So its performance will be very average as compare to last election results in 2016.

In Chara Dasa Gemini-Cancer will be running from March 2021 to August 2021 in the horoscope of TMC. Atamakaraka Jupiter is in the 8^th from Gemini and Amatayakaraka Mercury is in 6^th from it which is not good. But the Bhukti Rashi Cancer is the 5^th house from lagan and it get Jaimini aspect of Amatayakaraka Mercury which can bring them back into power but with reduce majority in 294 member legislative assembly. TMC may manage to form the government with secret help with Congress Party which is fighting this election in ally with Left Parties.
