Chenab Rail Bridge Inauguration Muhurata – What it foretells ?

August 6, 2025 By Sachin Malhotra

The Chenab Rail Bridge over the Chenab River at Reasi district of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir state is an architecture and railway engineering marvel. It is situated at the height of 359 meters and is a 1,315 meters long steel arched bridge engineered to withstand the seismic and wind conditions. It is 35 meters higher than the iconic Eiffel  Tower in Paris, France. Its construction work was started in year 2017 and it  was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 6th of June 2025. As per the astrological considerations the Muhurata chart of the Chenab Rail Bridge inauguration is not  auspicious as the lagna, the Moon and the Sun, which is lagna lord, are all afflicted by the natural malefic planets.

The Panchang (Hindu Almanac) aliments of the Chenab Rail Bridge inauguration Muhurata are given below.

Lunar Day – Shukla Ekadashai (11th day of the brighter half) , Weekday – Friday, Nakshatra – Chitra, Yoga- Variyaan, Karana – Vanija

Chart 1. Chenab Rail Bridge Inauguration Muhurata

6 June 2025, 12:11 hours in afternoon at Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir State

Chenab Rail Bridge Inauguration Muhurata

Chenab Rail Bridge Inauguration Muhurata

It is a cardinal principal of Muhurata to have a rising sign for the auspicious work when benefic planets are in Kendra and the 8th house is vacant. If we can’t find such rising sign or ascendant in the selected day where the 8th house is vacant then it should not have a natural malefic planet in it. In the Muhurata horoscope (chart 1) of the Chenab Rail Bridge inauguration the Leo lagna is rising. The lagna is afflicted by the natural malefic planet Ketu. The lagna lord the Sun is getting the aspect of malefic Saturn which is placed in the 8th house of mishaps. The Moon is also in mutual aspect with malefic Saturn which is not desirable.

In Navamsha chart we have only natural malefics (Rahu, Ketu and Mars) in Kendra and again the Moon is afflicted with Saturn which is not good. The lagna and the Moon are key areas which should not be afflicted in any Muhurata chart is a cardinal principal.

The Moon is in the Nakshatra of Mars which falls in the 12th house of losses in its sign of debilitation which is a major concern here.

India Opens World Largest Single Arch Rail Bridge – In Pictures

The Bridge is situated  at the Baramulla-Banihal section of Rail Line which was completed between 2008 to 2013 and was started at the time of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh government (2004-2014). Earlier during the period of Atal Bihari Vajypayee government Jammu-Udhampur Rail line project was completed and was opened later in April 2004 (Refer link – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chenab_Rail_Bridge). The project work to link Jammu city with the Kashmir Valley has been going on since 1990’s. The Railway projects in Jammu & Kashmir have been developing at slow speed due to high altitude hills of Kashmir Valley and disruption from terrorist supported by Pakistan.

Now the transit Mars in Virgo over the natal Moon in the Chenab Rail Bridge Muhurat chart in month of August 2025 is bit sensitive. Also the period of Mars Dasha and Saturn Anter Dasha in Chenab Rail Bridge Muhurata horoscope (chart 1) from 15 May 2026 to 24 June 2027 is inauspicious. Some terrorist supported by Pakistan may try to disrupt the operation on this Baramulla-Banihal Railway line during the summer of 2026. Later the Mars Dasha and the Moon Anter Dasha in year 2030 and the Rahu-Rahu period in year 2031 would also be sensitive for this railway line as per this Muhurata chart of the Chenab Railway Bridge.

New Parliament First Session Muhurata horoscope

September 19, 2023 By Sachin Malhotra

In March  2023 issue of Express Star Teller Magazine i had wrote an article on the ‘Vedic Lunar Year 2023-24 for India’. In the last paragraph of that article i had concluded that in  “Moon Maha Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha in the foundation horoscope of India, from 11 July 2023 to 11 March 2025, matters related with  women will come into prominence……”. I had also forecast about the same in my recent article on ‘Kanya Samkranti Kundali’ published on 18th of September of this month at the Nav Bharat Times dot com website where i had mentioned about the possibility of the ‘Women Reservation Bill’ to be cleared by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in the special session of the  parliament. In the election campaign of 2024, women related issues will become very crucial, for most of the political parties of India is what i had earlier forecast in my write-up on ‘Vedic Lunar year 2023-24’ published in Start Teller Magazine and also at this blog the link of which is being given below.

Hindu New Year 2023-24 for India

Now when the central government has tabled the crucial women reservation bill in Lok Sabha let’s study the horoscope of ‘New Parliament’s first session’ which started at 13:15 hours today only.

Chart 1. New Parliament First Session Muhurata

Astrological prediction about New Parliament Building

Astrological prediction about New Parliament Building

As per the new reports the first parliament session in the New Parliament Building was started in Lok Sabha at 13:15 hours today on 19th of September 2023 at Delhi. At that time Sagittarius ascendant was rising and Moon was in Libra in auspicious Swati Nakshatra. It was Shukla Chathurthi Tithi on Tuesday, Yoga Vaidhiriti and Vishti Karna which are moderate only. The Rikta Tithi and Tuesday indicate the aggrassive approach of the ruling government which has chosen a Muhurata with Firey sign Sagittarius rising for the start of first session in the New Parliament Building.

An exchange of houses between the 9th lord Mercury and 10th lord Sun is auspicious Raja Yoga which get more strength due to the aspect of lagna and 4th lord Jupiter on the 9th house and 10th lord Mercury both. This yoga will give the  ruling BJP government an upper hand over the opposition parties in coming days as they can easily get clear the Women Reservation Bill from both houses of the Parliament.

Chart 2. Sun Enters into Virgo Horoscope

Kanya Samkranti Kundali 2023

The horoscope formed at the time of the change of zodiac sign after 30 days by the  Sun is called ‘Surya Sankranti Kundali’ which is used in Medini astrology to predict the social, economic and political situation of a particular nation for the next 30 days. On Sunday, the Sun entered Virgo at 1:31 pm as per Indian Standard Time, at which time the Sagittarius Ascendant was rising. In Medini astrology, the ninth house reflects the new laws passed by the Parliament and the position of the Supreme Court. In the Sankranti horoscope, the ninth house is  being aspected by Saturn and Jupiter both. Along with this, the tenth house of royal power has a  good combination of Sun, Mars and Moon which is favorable for the ruling government to pass legislations which would give them more popularity.

Recently encouraged by the successful organization of the G-20 conference and the space exploration successes of Chandrayaan and Aditya L-1, the Central Government has decided to call this special session of the Parliament and pass some major laws. Sun’s Virgo Sankranti horoscope is an astrological indication of the buoyant mood of the ruling central government.

But an interesting thing to note here is that in the Navamsha of the Samkranti chart (solar ingress horoscope) and also of the New Parliament First Session inauguration chart the 6th house of the Rashi chart is rising. Taurus the 6th house is rising in both cases and the position of major planets Saturn and Jupiter is very weak in the Navamsha. So, there will be some major controversies for the central government in days to come.  The India-Canada bilateral relations  are not likely to improve very soon.

India-Canada relations hits new low after Canadian Prime Minister Justine Trudeau told his country’s Parliament on 18th of September that ” Canadian intelligence agencies have been actively pursuing credible links between Indian government agents and the murder of a Canadian Sikh community leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar outside a Sikh cultural center in British Columbia”

Canada-India diplomatic Crisis

In the Solar Ingress of Virgo horoscope, the 7th lord Mercury is Virgottam but it is afflicted by a retrograde Saturn which is not auspicious for foreign relations in coming days. The afflicted Jupiter in the 5th house is an alarming sign for student aspiring for Candian visa as they might get disappointed in days to come. Jupiter is in the 5th house with Rahu in ‘Chandal Yoga’ as it is also getting afflicted by the aspects of natural malefic planets Saturn and Mars. This shows severe diplomatic crisis in the ongoing India-Canada dispute which will badly affect Indian students hoping to get or extend their student visa during this year.

The aspect of Jupiter and Saturn falling on the ninth house in the Sankranti horoscope is an astrological indication of a big fight between the ruling party and the opposition over the bill regarding the increasing influence of the central government in the selection of election commissioners. After the passing of the bill related to the selection of election commissioners, there is a strong astrological possibility that the opposition parties will take the matter to the Supreme Court. Due to the influence of the ninth house in the Sankranti horoscope, at present a decision can be taken in the Supreme Court regarding the abrogation of Article 370 by the Central Government in 2019 about which there is a strong possibility the apex court will uphold the decision of BJP government in this matter but may instruct them to conduct assembly elections in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

Aditya L-1 Launch in Abhijeet Muhurata – Will it be successful like Chandrayaan -3 ?

September 2, 2023 By Sachin Malhotra

After the success of Chandrayaan-3, India’s space agency ISRO has launched the  ‘Aditya L-1’ mission to solve the mysteries of the Sun. This ambitious solar space mission of ISRO  which was launched on September 2 from Srihari Kota, Andhra Pradesh. It is India’s first solar mission which will  study  the mystery of the sunspots, which have become a puzzle for the space scientists. If seen from the astrological point of view, in the third chapter ‘Aditya-Chaar-Adhyay’ of Varahamihir’s  Brihat Samhita, written in the fifth century, the spots falling on the sun have been described as ‘Tamas Kilaks’. It has been said that the shape and type of these Tamas keelakas i.e. sunspots and after their appearance, the earth’s weather, crops, rain and other auspicious and inauspicious results have been given in detail in the ‘Aditya Char Adhyay’ of the Brihat Samhita. Astrologers in India has been using the appearence of Sunspots for their predictions on weather, earthquake, war and epidemics etc. since time immortal. The current Muhurata chart of Aditya L-1 indicates that this solar mission of India will be a success like Chandrayaan-3 recently.

Aditya L-1 Muhurata Kundali

Aditya L-1 Muhurata Kundali

Aditya L-1 Solar Mission was launched on Saturday, 2nd September at 11.50 am. from Srihari Kota Andhra Pradesh (79 E 58′ and 14 N 26′)
The launching of this solar mission was in  the  ‘Abhijeet Muhurt’ which is considered auspicious. Sunrise was at 6.01 am and sunset at Sriharikota on 2nd September was at 6.07 pm only. Therefore, midnoon will be at 12.03 pm, due to which there will be Abhijeet Muhurta 24 minutes before, and after this time which is considered auspicious according to the texts of Muhurta. Thus, the launching of Adiya L-1 at 11:50 hours is within the range of auspicious Abhijeet Muhurata which is auspicious.

Similarity in the Muhurat Kundli of Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L-1

At the time of launch of Aditya L-1, Scorpio Ascendant was rising. Coincidentally, at the time of launch of Chandrayaan-3, Scorpio Ascendant was also at the horizon.  Presently Sun is transiting in its own sign Leo and there is an auspicious aspect of Jupiter from Aries sign on it .On the day of launch of Aditya L-1, the Tritiya Tithi of Krishna Paksha and Uttar Bhadrapada Nakshatra was present, which is consider good for auspicious tasks. Uttara-Bhadarapada is a Urdhwa Mukha (upward looking) Nakshtra which is good for space missions.

Apart from this  in the Muhurat chart the ninth house lord Moon is  in the fifth house and  has a good aspect relationship with the lord of the ascendant, Mars, which will give good success to this solar mission. Aditya L-1 will reach a distance of 15 lakh kilometers after 100 days of its launch. This solar mission is aimed at reaching Lagrange Point 1 in the space where no other country has been able to explore. Just as India became the first country in the world to send a satellite to the South Pole of the Moon, ISRO is now doing the same experiment in its Soar Mission. This satellite Aditya L-1 will reach Lagrange Point 1 in its scheduled time and will create a history
as such a possibility is visible from the astrological point of view.

But in the Muhurta horoscope, the presence of Gulika in the tenth house in the same degrees with the Sun and the aspects  of cruel planets like Mars and Saturn on the Navamsha ascendant is an astrological indication of this Solar Mission being 80 to 90% successful in its overall objective.

Chandrayaan 3 Space Mission and Muhurata Matters

July 25, 2023 By Sachin Malhotra

After the 10 days of its launch the Chandrayaan 3 is all set to perform the fifth and final earth orbit-raising maneuver today. The ISRO has used a clever strategy, using Earth and Moon’s gravity, to overcome the limitation of its launch vehicle. NASA’s Apollo 11 arrived at Lunar surface in just 4 days while the Chandrayaan 3 is set to touch base at Moon in 40 days time. As per the news reports the Chandrayaan was  launched on 14th of July (2023) at 14:35 hours from Sriharikota at Nellor District Andhra Pradesh. The horoscope cast for this time as per Niryaana system of Vedic astrology the Scorpio sign was  rising at the ascendant. Generally we don’t take fixed sign rising at the ascenadnt if we need to take a Muhurata or auspicious time for running a machine or vehicle.

Chandrayaan 3 astrological predictions

Chandrayaan 3 Astrological Predictions

However, in this case of lunar exploration mission the ascenadant Scorpio is getting the aspect of Moon, Mars and Saturn. Here Moon is in auspicious Rohini asterism and is in its friendly Navamsha (D-9) of Gemini. The Vimshottari Dasha of Moon Anter Dasha of  Mercury and Pratyanter of  Jupiter is present in the Muhurata chart which shows decent success with some technical glitches as Jupiter is in the 6th house getting the aspect of malefic Saturn. So mission will be successful but will face technical glitches may be during the landing time on the Moon. The asepct of retrograde Saturn on Rashi and Navamsha of Muhurata chart with Mercury being in Mrityu Bhagh degree is a concern for communication system of the lunar mission in its last phases.

Will Chandrayaan 3 get success in soft-landing on Moon  ?

As per the Panchanga Parameters Friday, Krishna Dwadashi Tithi and Rohini Nakshatra is fine. Vriddhi Yoga and Taitila Karna is also good. The Hora at birth was of Mercury which is in Mrityu Bhag degree and is in conjunction with Gulika which is a major concern. The Chandrayaan 3 is set to land on Moon on the 23 of August. The Vimshottari Dasha of Moon, Anter Dasha of Mercury and Pratyanger Dasha of Saturn is from 13 August onward. So after 13th of August some communication related issues may create a problem with the soft landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the Moon is my humble assessment of this Muhurata chart.
