Why Arvind Kejriwal and AAP always remain in limelight, most of the time for wrong reasons, is a question asked by many of my astrologer friends. Recently my article title ” Will Arvind Kejriwal Play a National Role ? – An Astrological Analysis” was published in the Modern Astrology Magazine’s November 2015 issue. As per my analysis the AAP will do very well in the assembly polls in Punjab and Delhi MCD elections proposed to be held in 2017.  But before this year 2016 will see a big clash between AAP and BJP on the issue of corruption and a major  political scandal involving some central government minister.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Venus 17 Years 5 Months and 27 Days

The horoscope of AAP has so many great Parashari and Jaimini Raj yoga’s. The lagna lord Saturn exalted in the 10^th house along with 5^th lord Venus and 9^th lord Mercury is a great Parashari raj yoga. In Jaimini system the Atamakaraka Mercury, Putrakaraka Saturn and 5^th lord Venus conjoined in the 10^th house in a movable sign are in the mutual aspect aspect with Amatayakaraka Jupiter place in the 5^th house in a fixed sign creates  a  very good raj yoga.

The Moon is in the sign of Mars and is under the aspect of Saturn making ‘Sanyas’ yoga in Rashi chart. The depositor of Moon, which is Mars, is under the aspect of Saturn which is also a ‘Sanyas’ yoga as per the ‘Pravrajya yoga Adhyay’ of Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. The presence of these two ‘Sanyas’ yoga’s in the chart of this political organization shows her socialist ideology and focus on the selfless service of common man. However, the Mars place in the 12^th house in the chart of AAP confers this party an aggressive and very energetic style of political campaigning. The Mars from the 12^th house aspects the 3^rd house of velour and 6^th house of confrontation. This party will keep on conflicting with other political outfits of the country representing the political interests of cast, religion, ethnic groups and regional groups.

The best thing in the horoscope of AAP is that it has a long Vimshottari dasha of yoga-karaka Venus promising continuous expansions. Venus being the lord of fifth house signifies the followers of this party and their number are going to increase very significantly in years to come. However, during the Venus-Sun (22 September 2013 to 22 September 2014) period in chart this party saw many upheavals. In December 2013, the party won 28 seats in Delhi assembly polls and its leader Arvind Kejriwal become the chief minister after Congress gave him an unconditional outside support. The AAP made a disastrous mistake then when Kejriwal resign from the post of C.M. on February 14, 2014. Later party fielded 434 candidates in general elections and out of which 414 forfeited their deposits and only 4 could won election. This was a huge setback for AAP and its leader Kejriwal. The party was on the verge of a collapse due to the differences between their members. The sub-period of 8^th lord Sun trapped in Rahu-Ketu axis has to give them bad results. The eclipses falling over the Libra-Aries axis during 2013-14 was adding to their miseries.

In my article, “Politics of Delhi State and a tale of two eclipses” published in the July-August issue of BVB Journal of Astrology I discussed in length the horoscope of AAP. I had given a prediction in that article about the comeback of AAP into the power in Delhi state in next few months, after winning the assembly elections, during her Venus-Moon period in Vimshottari. The AAP won the assembly elections in the sub-sub period of Rahu place in the 11^th house of gains in Rashi chart and in Dashamsha Rahu is strongly deposited in the 3^rd house.

The Venus-Moon ( 22 September 2014 to 23 May 2016) period in Vimshottari will now launch this party at the national level as both these planets are in a great Parashari Raj yoga in Rashi chart and in Dashamsha their position in the trine houses is excellent. The AAP will take part in the assembly elections in Bihar due in the end of 2015 and West Bengal and Assam in the mid of 2016.  They may not win many seats in these elections but will surely get their presence felt in the political arena of these states. The party will also earn praises for its work in the Delhi state, particularly in the social sector, during this Venus-Moon dasha period. Moon is the Karaka of general welfare of the public in Mundane Astrology. The AAP will fulfill its election promises of reducing the electricity and water bill of Delhi people and giving them relief from the widespread corruption in the city.

However, during the Venus-Mars period ( 23 May 2016 to 23 July 2017) the AAP will have clashes with the center government led by  BJP over the issue of full statehood for Delhi and on the ‘Jan-Lokpal’ bill. Notice here that Mars is place in the 12^th house in all the three concern Vargas Rashi , Navamsha and Dashamsha. Although the Mars as 11^th lord of gains may bring them into power in the state of Punjab, for which the elections are due in March 2017. After Delhi, it is the Punjab where AAP has a very strong cadre base.

In year 2016, the transiting Rahu will move into the Leo that is the 8^th house in the Rashi chart of AAP. The eclipses falling in the 8^th house of the Rashi chart of AAP will give some trouble to its leaders. For the BJP the year 2016 will be bad as some of their national leaders will fall into a serious scandal or swindle. This will give AAP an opportunity to attack the BJP in the furious manner then.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Mercury 5 Years 0 Months and 12 Days

In the horoscope of BJP  the 10^th lord Jupiter is retrograde and is badly trapped in the classical ‘Guru-Chandal’ yoga and ‘Unmaad’ yoga. Now the transiting Rahu and Jupiter will be conjoin in the Leo sign in the first half of year 2016 and then it will activate the ‘Guru-Chandal’ yoga in the chart of BJP. The transiting Saturn from Scorpio will be over the natal Moon of BJP that is in ‘Kemadruma’ yoga adding to the worries.

It will be Sun-Mercury ( 04 February 2016 to 11 December 2016) in the horoscope of BJP then. Sun is in ‘Mrityu-Bhag’ and is under the aspect of sixth lord Mars. Mercury, the lagn lord, is place in the ninth house (religious matters) along with Ketu and under the aspects of other malefic planets. The dasha lords Sun and Mercury are in the 2/12 position from each other which is not helpful. There will be a big swindle or scandal involving some very prominent BJP leader immediately after the total solar eclipse of 9 March 2016. This will give a big opportunity to AAP for attacking the center government on the issue of corruption and pressing the demand of strong ‘Jan Lokpal’ (citizen’s ombudsman) for the center as well for the states respectively.

I got this horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal from Mr.Sunder Balakrishnan , who is a leader of AAP and is an astrologer himself, in year 2013.  I later got confirm this birth detail of Kejriwal from my teacher Shri K.N. Rao who has given astrological consultation to his family. In this Leo lagna horoscope the three benefic planets Jupiter, Venus and Mercury are strongly place in the ascendant making some very good Parashari yogs. The 5^th  lord Jupiter in the ascendant along with the 10^th lord Venus, which is Vargottama, shows the humble intentions of Kejriwal to serve the people with honesty.

In Jaimini the Jupiter and Moon becomes the ‘yogada’ planets. Jupiter is very close to the degress of ascendant in the chart of Kejriwal. It is also influencing the Navamsha lagna and Dreshkana lagna. A planet influencing the ascendant of Rashi, Navamsha and Dreshkana becomes the ‘yogada’ in Jaimini system. The Moon also becomes the ‘yogada’ here as it is giving aspect (Jaimini aspect) to the ascendant in the Rashi chart and in Navamsha. In the Dreshkana the Moon is place in the ascendant itself.

Arvind Kejriwal become the chief minister in Jupiter-Mercury-Saturn (25 October 2014 to 05 March 2015) Vimshottari dasha. Now the Jupiter-Ketu starting from 5^th of March 2015 looks very promising as the depositor of Ketu is place well in Rashi and Navamsha charts. Ketu is in the second house of resources in the Rashi chart and in Dashamsha it is strongly place in the ninth house. During Jupiter-Ketu, which will be until 09 February 2016, Arvind Kejriwal will earn good reputation from his work as the chief minister of Delhi.

The Jupiter-Venus ( 09 February 2016 to 10 October 2018) period in Vimshottari will see him becoming a leader of national stature. AAP may win assembly polls in Punjab states in year 2017 and also the Delhi MCD election schedule to be held in the same year. Venus is Vargottama 10^th lord and in Dashamsha it is making some good raj yogs thought it is place in the 12^th house indicating some setbacks also. In Jupiter-Sun ( 10 October 2018 to 29 July 2019) dasha in Vimshottari there will be major change in the career of Kejriwal. In the sub period of Sun place in the 12^th house he may resign from the post of chief minister of Delhi, after winning the seat of M.P. in general elections in 2019, to focus at bigger role in the national politics. In the oath taking chart of Kejriwal  the lagn lord Venus is strongly place in the 10^th house along with 4^th lord Sun which is excellent. This indicates that during his tenure, as the chief minister, he will focus on good administration and tightening the screws of the bureaucracy to curb corruption in the state. The 4^th lord Sun is with the lagn lord Venus in the 10^th also shows that government will take special interest in the infrastructure development. The 10^th lord Saturn is conjoined with the 3^rd lord Moon and is giving aspect to the 4^th house shows that conditions of roads, public transport and communication systems will be improved. However, in year 2016 Rahu transiting in Leo will eclipse the 4-10 axis   from both the lagna and Moon of the oath taking chart of Kerjiwal giving him some trouble due to bad conduct of some of his party leaders.

At the time of  the general elections of 2019, the Saturn will be transiting in Sagittarius that is the 8^th house of the oath taking chart of Kejriwal showing that he may then resign from the post of chief minister to take part in the national politics. The AAP has already made Manish Sisodia the deputy C.M. of Delhi indicating that he will be Kejriwal’s successor in Delhi in the coming years. Nevertheless, for preparing to be a national level player in the general elections of 2019 the AAP has to prove them in Delhi state. Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Venus 17 years 9 months and 10 months

In the horoscope of Delhi state, the Vimshottari dasha of Sun-Venus is running at present. The maha dasha of 10^th lord Moon will start from the 11 November 2015. The Moon is in close degrees conjunction with lagna and 8^th lord Venus. It is also very close to Rahu in the Rashi chart. In Navamsha and Dashamsha the Moon becomes the lord of 8^th house in the horoscope of Delhi state. Therefore, it shows some major changes in the policy making of Delhi state during its dasha period of 10 years and some disputes. Noticeable point here is that Moon is in Sagittarius and a ‘Sadhe-Satti’ has begun in the chart of Delhi state. The Moon dasha, beginning from November 2015, will be a period of transformation for the Delhi state and it is going to bring many cultural and social changes as well. The state government will take some hard decisions to bring down corruption in the system and it will have clatters with the central government over the issue of full statehood and allocation of more resources to the state.
