German Chancellor Angela Merkel will be contesting for her fourth and final term in the national elections on the 24th of September. Merkel is the first lady Chancellor of Germany. She is at present considered as one of the most influential world leader. During her tenure the Germany has become the strongest economy of Europe. However, the ‘open door immigration policy’ of Merkel for Syrian war refugees has got widespread criticism in the  Germany. After the exit of Britain (Brexit) from the European Union last year and the inspiring victory   of Donald Trump in USA there was a fear that right-wing parties will be on the march in the Europe. However, in 2017 the elections in France and Netherlands has brought the liberals and pro-EU leaders in power. Now all eyes are set on the Merkel who’s possible consecutive fourth term is going to be a good news for the supporters of European unity and globalization.

. As per the Sage Parashara the Sun and Moon makes the best Raja Yoga for the Scorpio lagna. In Merkel’s chart this yoga is present at 3/9 axis. Moon is in the 3rd house of valor and Sun is in the 9th house of luck. The Moon here become the lord of 9th house luck  and Sun is the lord of 10th house career.

This dasha from July 2018 will give her loss of reputation and problem with coalition partners.

. After July 2018 Merkel may come under pressure from her coalition partners like Christian Social Union and Social Democratic Party of Germany to resign from the office. She might have to resign in 2019 or 2020 Mercury-Venus period in her chart before completing her fourth term.
