Solar Ingress of the Sun in Cancer 2025- What it foretells for India and the World ?

The Sun had entered Cancer sign (Karaka Rashi) on the 16th July at 5:32 PM as per the Indian Standard Time. The Sun remains in one sign (Rashi) for 30 days. Every year, the horoscopes cast at the time of transit of Sun in 12 signs are used in Mundane astrology for prediction of economic, social, agriculture, weather, rise and fall of the prices commodities etc. In hundreds of almanac published in India you can see these solar ingress (Surya Samkranti) charts discussed along with lunar horoscopes (Paksha Kundali). When the transit Sun especially enters the moveable signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, then the horoscope of that time holds more importance in these predictions. The time of Sun entering the sign is called ‘Sankranti’, whose Tithi (lunar day) , yoga, position of Sun from the Moon, lunar month etc. and the planetary position are used in making certain predictions in mundane astrology as per the ancient Hindu system.

This year’s solar ingress of Cancer i.e. Karka Samkranti is on Shashti Tithi of Shravan Krishna Paksha (6th lunar day of the darker half of Shravana month) , Wednesday, Uttarbhadra pada Nakshatra, Atigand Yoga and Vanij Karan. According to Bhavishya Bhaskar, if Karka Sankranti falls on Wednesday, then there will be good rains and grains (grains) will be cheap and people will get happiness from abroad i.e. in trading from foreign land. Currently, the Shadashtak relation (6/8 relation) formed by the transit of Mars in Leo and Saturn in Pisces is not auspicious for politicians, especially for big ruling leaders. The month of August will be somewhat sensitive for the security of big leaders.

Retrograde Saturn will cause abnormal rainfall

This month, on 13th July, Saturn has changed from direct motion to retrograde motion in Pisces and will remain retrograde till 28th of November this year. When the distance from the Sun is more, the speed of the planet in transit decreases, due to which, when seen from the Earth, it appears to be moving towards the west i.e. backwards among the stars in the Zodiac, which is called a retrograde motion of the planet. In Mundane astrology, when Saturn is retrograde and Jupiter is at the same time in a fast moving motion, the results are said to be abnormal rainfall, earthquakes, downfall of kings and loss of life and wealth due to natural calamities.

Currently, Jupiter is at the fast speed (Atichari) due to transiting in the previous sign from the Sun and Saturn is retrograde i.e. in slow motion in transit due to transiting away from the Sun in the ninth house. Because of this transit of major planets in the next 30 days, there may be loss of life and property due to incidents of cloudburst etc. in some hilly states, while the rainfall will be less in South India influenced by Virgo. After Mars enters Virgo on 28th July, there may be some reduction in rainfall in some states of North India also especially in Delhi-NCR ruled by Scorpio sign.

Political upheaval will increase

At the time of Surya Sankranti, according to the Indian standard time, Sagittarius ascendant is rising. In the solar ingress horoscope (chart 1) , the tenth lord (rule) Mercury being in the enemy sign Cancer and being in the eighth house with the ninth lord Sun is a combination of political upheaval. In India, mutual disputes will arise among the big leaders of the central government. After Mars enters Virgo on 28th July, in the month of August, pressure may come on Prime Minister Modi from some leaders of the RSS and his own party to take retirement on completing the 75 years of age.

Solar Eclipse of 14th of October 2023 – What it foretells?

On the upcoming Ashwin Amavasya, on Saturday, October 14, from 8:34 PM to 2:35 AM Indian Standard time, a long solar eclipse will be visible in large parts of North and South America. This annular solar eclipse will have a long duration, which is a very alarming planetary indication. In the horoscope of the annual solar eclipse of 14th of October 2023, due to the influence of the major malefic planets (Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu) on the auspicious Jupiter, it makes this solar eclipse the most unique among the last few major eclipses since December 2019. At the time of this solar eclipse, the Sun will be in Virgo on the New Moon Day. And there will be a conjunction of Mercury with the Moon in Virgo. According to Brihat Samhita, the fifth century treatise written by Varaahamihir, the eclipse in Virgo will bring harm to crops, poets, scholars, writers, singers, stonemasons and the country of Tripura, the major paddy producing states. Rare Green Comet and Brihat Samhita’s Rules for Forecasting Earthquakes

The green comet has been in the sky for nearly about a month since middle of January 2023. The comet has now travelled outwards away from earth in its orbit and will not be visible in the skies above the Earth for next fifty thousand’s years. As per the classical text of Mundane astrology ‘Brihat Samhita, which was written in 5th century AD, if the comets are visible in the sky or stars break then there will be earthquakes in the constellation of fire circle i.e. Agnay Mandal. Pushya, Kritika, Visakha, Bharani, Magha, Purva-Phalguni and Purvabhadrapada are Nakshatra’s or constellation of fire circle as per Brihat Samhita. Coincidentally, the earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria was in the constellation Magha of the fire circle (Agni Mandal). On the day of 6th of February Moon as in Magha Nakshatra in the constellation of fire circle.

Turkey and Syria Earthquake has left hundreds of thousands (lakhs) people homeless and took the lives of more than 35 thousand in the devastation which is increasing day by day. Three days before this earthquake, a geologist from the Netherlands had predicted on Twitter that a big earthquake could happen anytime in the countries of Middle East Asia. Now the same Dutch researcher Frank Hoogerbeets is claiming that in the coming few days, a major earthquake may occur in Afghanistan as well, which may affect a large area of Pakistan and India. At the time of the Turkey and Syria earthquakes, Mars was in the earthy sign Taurus and Saturn was transiting in the airy sign Aquarius. Venus was also in Aquarius and the Sun was moving in the earthy sign Capricorn. The earthquake occurred in the early hours of the morning, the next day after the full moon of February 5th, 2023.

Omens to be seen in nature before a big earthquake

In the classical text Brihat Samhita a complete chapter has been dedicated towards earthquake forecasting. In the chapter number 32 ‘Bhukampa Lakshana Adhyay’ some major omens have been mentions which are to be observed in forecasting earthquakes.

According to Acharya Varahamihira, before an earthquake in the constellations of Vyavya Mandal , there is smoke in the sky all around, dusty storms, and the rays of the sun slow down. In the constellations of the fire circle, before the earthquake, stars break or meteorite falls, Digdaah is seen, strong wind and forest fire are also observed. Coincidentally, the earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria was in the constellation Magha of the fire circle (Agni Mandal). On that day, a green comet was seen in the sky, which had appeared earlier from the earth 50 thousand years ago. According to Varahamihira, the effect of these omens can last for two months.

Effects of Appearance of Green Comet

Therefore, due to the effect of this green comet, if any other earthquake occurs in the next two months around new moon or full moon then it will not be a surprise. But we would like to repeat here once again that the intensity of the earthquake and its direction is very difficult to forecast. In the ‘Ketu-Chaar-Adhyay’ chapter number 11 of Brihat Samhita the effects of the visibility of different comet’s in the sky has been discussed in details. As per the sloka number 11 of this chapter the appearance of Green comet can give devastating fire accidents.

As per ‘Bhukampa Lakshan Adhya’ chapter number 32, at the time of appearance of a comet there is a danger of an earthquake in Agnay Mandal Nakshatra which are Pushya, Kritika, Vishakha, Bharinim Magha, Poorva Bhadra Pada and Poorva Phalguni. So during the transit of Moon from the above mention Nakshatra’s around the time of coming full Moon or New Moon there will be a danger of an earthquake and also a major fire accident.

The new moon of 20th February and the full moon of 7th March are very sensitive to natural calamities such as earthquakes and danger for the big leaders according to planetary calculations.

At the time of Full Moon of 7 March 2023 Moon is in Poorva Phalguni Nakshtra and would be in Kendra from major planets Saturn and Mars. The Nakshatra of Poorva Phalguni comes into ‘Agnaya Mandala’ which is very sensitive for an earthquake due to the appearance of the comet recently. At the time of Full Moon of 7^th of March 2023 Mars would be in ‘out of bound’ motion as it is more than 21 degrees of declination. Thus, there will be a danger of an earthquake in the North-Western parts of India around the area of Hindukush region of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Solar Eclipse of 26 December 2019- What Stars Foretell for India ?

The coming solar eclipse of 26th of December 2019 is very unique in terms of planetary position. At the time of this eclipse 5 planets Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn will be conjoined with shadow planet Ketu (Moon’s south node). In Hindu Astrology Rahu and Ketu are shadow planets who affects Sun and Moon at the time of an eclipse. Interestingly on the 5th of February 1962 there was a solar eclipse in Capricorn (Makar Rashi) when all the 7 planets were with Ketu. The effects of that eclipse was tremendous on world politics; Cuba Missile Crisis between USA and Soviet Union almost led these nations at the brink of war. In 1962 India had to suffer a humiliating defeat by China in a major war. At the time of solar eclipse of 26^th of December there will be a conjunction of five planets in one sign which is a yoga for extreme weather disturbances. Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn would be in Sagittarius then. Mars will enter into watery sign Scorpio on the day of eclipse which will bring extremely heavy snow falls and avalanche in the Himalayan region of India. A fast moving cold wave from the 26^th of December onward will break the records of many decades of past winter seasons not only in India but in many other countries. There will also be some untimely rainfall in the Northern states like Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh around the time of solar eclipse of 26^th of December.

At the time of solar eclipse Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, three major planets, will be in watery Navamshas. Mars and Jupiter are in Cancer sign in Navamsha. Saturn is in the Navamsha of Scorpio a full watery sign. In the Rashi chart Mars is in Scorpio and Venus is in Capricorn which is also considered a semi-watery sign in astro-meteorology. This again confirm the possibility of extremely heavy snowfall and blizzard immediately after the solar eclipse.

The cold wave will affect the most in eastern part of the world with countries like China, Japan, South and North Korea coming under the grip of record breaking cold wave. In the northern hemisphere the Australia will witness extremely hot summer with temperature crossing 48 degree Celsius mark on many occasions.

Two earthquakes foreseen after the solar eclipse of 26th of December 2019

At the time of this solar eclipse Sun and Moon are in airy Navamsha Gemini. There is a conjunction of major planets Saturn and Jupiter in Rashi chart. The luminaries in airy or earthy Navamsha and major planets in conjunction can give earthquake around the time of an eclipse. Moon and Mercury are also in the same Nakshtra in superior conjunction which also indicate a strong earthquake which could be more than 7.1 at rector scale giving tremors in large part of Indian sub-continent.

If we see the ‘Koorma Chakra’ cast at the time of solar eclipse we can find most of the planets placed in the west and north direction. So a strong earthquake and cyclone can come around the solar eclipse of 26^th of December in the North and/or West direction which would give losses to lives and properties at very large scale.

Apart from this the east direction indicated by fiery sign Sagittarius also shows a danger of earthquake in Assam, Japan and China during the fortnight starting from 26^th of December 2019.

As per Brihat Samhita an eclipse in Dhanu Rashi (Sagittarius sign) affect the most to ministers, rulers of countries, army personals, doctors, sports persons, weapon merchants, technical professionals and big merchants. In the next 6 months these people are likely to get affected worst. Among the Indian politicians Rahu Gandhi having his natal Moon in Sagittarius may face court cases, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh with his Dhanu lagna horoscope and Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik having his Moon in Gemini will see serious health troubles. Since at the time of this solar eclipse Jupiter is in own sign so the demand for gold will be low and so is its price. But because of Saturn and Sun in fiery sign there will be rise in the prices of food grains. Lunar Eclipse of 16/17 July 2019- How it will effect Indian and the world ?

On the night of 16th/17th of July a partial lunar eclipse will be visible in many parts of Asia, Africa, Europe, South-America and Australia. In India this lunar eclipse will be visible from the mid night of 16th/17th of July from 01:30 am to 04:30 am in most parts of the country except some regions of Arunachal Pradesh. From the astrological point of view this lunar eclipse will be bad for Pakistan, India, middle east and some south-american nations. At the time of this lunar eclipse Moon will be in Uttara-Ashada Nakshatra in the last Navamsha of Sagittarius sign and in the first Navamsha of Capricorn. So this eclipse will influence the war sign Sagittarius and the watery sign Capricorn. The first half of Capricorn is a watery sign whereas the second half of Capricorn is consider an earthy element.

The lunar eclipse of 16/17 July is falling on the Ashadi Poornima. Moon will be in Makar Rashi during the last part of this eclipse which will bring extremely heavy rains and flood in many parts of the country. The North-India and Central India will suffer badly from flood during 17th of July to 5th of August 2019. I had also mention these forecast in my article on South West Monsoon rains 2019. This will give troubles to the people living in major cities of North and Central parts of India. But it will bring some relief for the farmers who are struggling from drought and delay in the sowing of Kharif crops. Mars is in Cancer sign with Mercury under the aspect of Jupiter from Scorpio is showing the possibilities of extremely heavy rainfall till 5th of August.

Prices of Gold and Silver Will rise

Jupiter and Sun are the Karaka for gold. Venus and Moon signifies the silver. Whenever these planets get afflicted by malefic planets then the prices of these precious metals may increase. Major planets Jupiter, Saturn and Mars getting retrograde may also bring such earthquakes which could be more than 7 at rector scale giving damage to lives and properties. Such conditions are not present at the time of this lunar eclipse of 16/17 July. Moon will be in Makar Rashi and Makar Navamsha in the ending portion of this lunar eclipse. It was a very bold decision of the CBI court considering the fact that Gurmeet Ram Rahim had the following of millions of people across the country and having a wealth of thousands of millions at his hundreds of Ashrams ( center of worship). Almost all the political parties of Haryana, where the Gurmeet Ram Rahim has his headquarter, and Punjab were in his favor. Gurmeet Ram Rahim had issued his support to the Congress, BJP and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in various assembly elections since last 15 years. He was particularly the darling of BJP leaders whom he supported in the general and Haryana assembly elections in 2014. It was no surprise that Khattar Government in Haryana did his level best to patronize him until he was found guilty on the 24th of August. Later on the 28th of August the CBI court send Gurmeet Ram Rahim to jail for 20 years.

The supporters of Gurmeet Ram Rahim was allowed to ransacked the city of Panchkula on the afternoon of 24th of August. As many as 38 people were died and hundreds were injured in massive violence. As per the statement of Punjab Haryana High Court ‘ it was the political surrender of government to lure the vote bank’. The High Court went the extent of taking on the Prime Minister Modi by saying that “PM is of the nation, not of the BJP”.
