Indian contingent of 113 sports person will compete in 16 sports at Paris Olympics schedule to be held from 26th of July to 12th of August. The participating group from India will be led by Achanta Sharat Kamal (flag bearer) and P.V. Sindhu at the opening day parade. Athletics, Archery, Boxing, Shooting, Wrestling, Badminton etc. are the areas where Indian’s have hope to win medals at the Olympics. In the last Olympics at Tokyo in 2021 India had won 7 medals (1 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze).
