Early Political Career of Amit Shah
Amit Shah first met Narendra Modi in 1982 through RSS ( Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) circles in Ahemadabad. He was then under Vimshottari dasha of Sun ( November 1980 to November 1986) in his horoscope. During this dasha of Sun Amith Shah entered into the activities of RSS. Sun is with the lagna and 10th lord Mercury in Rashi Chart. In Dashamsha the Sun is 10th lord placed in the ascendant showing his early interest in politics and social work during its dasha.
Amit Shah graduated in B.sc Biochemistry from a collage in Ahmadabad. Earlier he did his schooling from his home town in Mehsana but later moved to Ahmadabad during Sun maha dasha for higher studies. The 12th lord Sun with 10th lord Mercury shows his movement. The 5th house and the 5th lord receiving the aspect of debilitated Mars shows study in science subjects.
In the maha dasha of Moon (November 1986 to November 1996) he started taking active part in the politics. He campaigned for Lal Krishna Advani in 1991 general elections. In 1995 he and Narendra Modi worked together to decimate Congress in the assembly elections. The BJP formed its first government in Gujarat state then. Moon is in the 8th house receiving the aspect of 5th lord Saturn. The 8th house plays a major role in politics where a person need to form strategies and have to conspire against its enemies. Modi and Shad had created a strong network of 8000 influential leaders in rural areas who had lost local elections to the Pradhan ( village chief) post in various villages. They groomed them and made them work for the BJP. They used the same strategy to reduce Congress’s influence over state co-operations and sports bodies.
Amit Shah’s rise along with Narendra Modi
The Mars maha dasha (November 1996 to November 2003) took Amit Shah’s career to the next level. Narendra Modi lobbies to get Shah a ticket to fight the Gujarat legislative assembly’s by-election in February 1997. Amit Shah won this election in his Mars-Mars dasha in Vimshottari. Later he retained this seat in 1998 assembly polls (Mars-Jupiter dasha). In the horoscope of Amit Shah the Mars and Moon are involve in an exchange of houses. It is an exchange of 8th and 11th houses. This exchange between two malefic houses is termed as a ‘Dainya’ yoga in the classics of Hindu astrology. However, since Mars is debilitated here so its exchange of house with Moon acquire a different meaning here. The debilitation of a functional malefic planet in a horoscope is consider good as per Parashara. The Mars here will also give the result of 11th lord Moon as it is in exchange with it. The 11th house is the house of gains and with the role of 8th house Amit Shah rose to prominence in a very surprise manner. He helped Modi to become chief minister of Gujarat in October 2001 when he was under his Mars-Venus dasha in Vimshottari. He and Modi later sidelined all their political rivals in Gujarat BJP. The role of 8th house comes here as for hatching secret political plots against rivals.
Controversies in Amit Shah’s career
Amit Shah was instrumental in the formation of some controversial legislation like Gujarat Control of Organized Crime (Amendment) Bill and Gujarat Freedom of Religion Act. In year 2010 he was accused of plotting the extrajudicial killing of a criminal Sohrabuddin Sheikh and in 2013 he was accused of an illegal surveillance of a women in year 2009. He was arrested in July 2010 in connection with Sohrabudding encounter case and could only get a bail after 3 months of his arrest. It was happen during the dasha of Rahu-Saturn from December 2008 to October 2011. The Rahu-Saturn and Saturn-Rahu are generally difficult periods. The Saturn is in this case is placed in the 6th house of Rashi and Navamsha chart. In Chara dasha he was under the period of Aquarius ( October 2009 to October 2017) then which has Ganatikaraka in it. The Aquarius is the 8th house from Atamakaraka Mars and it is the 12th house from his Karakamsha.
Rise in National Politics
In the dasha of Rahu-Mercury ( 30 October 2010 to 18 May 2014) he rise at the national level political stage when under his leadership in Uttar Pradesh the BJP had won 73 out of 80 seats in general elections of 2014. He was through accused of polarizing UP voters on religious lines by raising he Ram Janambhoomi or Ayodhya dispute and 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots.
The maha dasha lord Rahu is in the 10th house of power. The anter dasha lord Mercury is the lord of 10th house strongly place in the 2nd house. In July 2014 he was appointed as the president of BJP. Under his leadership the party won assembly elections in Maharashatra, Harayana, Jammu-Kashmir and Assam, but lost badly in Delhi and Bihar.
Now at the time of assembly elections in five states Amit Shah is running under Rahu-Venus-Jupiter period from October 2016 to May 2017. The anter dasha lord Venus is placed in the 12th house but it is in mutual aspect with 5th and 6th lord Saturn. The Venus is in good yoga for Virgo lagna chart of Amit Shah. But the sub-sub period lord Jupiter is debliteated in Navamsha and Dashamsha charts. This shows that the elections results in five states ( Punjab, UP, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand) will not be very encouraging for the BJP.
In Chara dasha it is Aquarius-Aquarius dasha from 20 February 2017 to 22 October 2017. The Aquarius, as discussed earlier, is having the Ganatikaraka has to give him troubles. It is the 8th house from his Atamakaraka Mars and the 12th from his Karakamsha lagan. The Amit Shah will also have to struggle with his health in coming months.
His chart is also bad from the point of view of longevity and sound health. An erudite reader of astrology can find many combinations of illness in his horoscope. The 11th lord Moon in exchange with 8th lord Mars is one such yoga. The lagna lord Mercury getting into mbustion with the 12th lord Sun and receiving the aspect of 8th lord Mars is also a bad yoga. In the coming years his health will be a major concern and will become a hindrance in his political career. At the time of general elections of 2019 he will be under Rahu-Sun dasha in Vimshottari which will only give him a moderate success. The BJP will come back to power in the general elections of 2019 but with a very reduce majority. They party may only win less than 200 seats in Lok Sabha then and will have to run a minority government at the center. Amit Shah will then loose his shine and political authority to a large extent. He will then remain only a shadow of what he is at present. The ending sub-periods of Rahu dasha will be bad for the political career of Amit Shah.
