In a surprise development Shiv Sena’s rebel group leader Eknath Shinde sworn-in as the 20th chief minister of Maharashtra on 30th of June after Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation from the post. The most astonishing thing was to see Devender Fadnavis of BJP, the former chief minister, taking the office of deputy chief minister. The former chief minister of BJP will now be reporting to Eknath Shinde, who was at times much junior to him in Maharashtra politics. In the oath taking horoscope of Eknath Shinde the presence of ‘Bala-Arishta’ yoga and ‘Alpayu Yoga’ can bring this new government down anytime in the next one year. On the other-hand the legal battle to get the election symbol and name of the ‘Shiv Sena’ will take a decisive turn next year in the favor of Uddhav Thackeray. In my last post i had forecasted the fall of Uddhav Thackeray’s ‘Maha-Vikas-Aghadi’ coalition government but had also mention that he will surely be able to retain the election symbol and ownership of his party ‘Shiv Sena’.

The Panchang Parameters were favorable for Eknath Shinde who secure 164 votes as against 99 by the opposition parties at the time of vote of confidence in the Maharashtra assembly on the 4th of July. Eknath Shinde has support of 40 MLA’s of Shiv Sena while former chief minister Uddhav Thackery has 15 MLA’s with him from the total strength of 55 earlier. In the 288 members Maharashtra legislative assembly BJP won 105 seats, NCP has 55 seats while its ally in the sate Congress party had 44 seats. BJP was not able to form the government in 2019 due to its difference with her partner Shiv Sena on the issue of power sharing. Shiv Sena formed an alliance with NCP and  Congress to from the coalition government which run for 2.5 years only.

Now in the oath taking chart of Eknath Shinde the 8th house of longevity has Moon in Gandhanta i.e. initial degrees of her Rashi. Although 8th lord Moon is in own house and the 3rd house, which is 8th from 8th, has Saturn in the own house but the aspect of Mars on the 8th house is a ‘Bala-Arishta’ Yoga. BMC elections are very important for all these parties as it is the richest municipal corporation in India who’s budget exceed many of the smaller stats in the country.

In Jupiter-Venus-Mercury period from 15 December 2022 to 2 May 2023 Uddhav Thackeray will get success to recreate his party’s structure and get back his lost fame. Devendra Fadnavis is one of the most hardworking and charismatic young leader of BJP who was made chief minister of Maharashtra in 2014 when Mercury-Mars in Vimshottari was running in his horoscope. It is said that Mr. Nitin Gadkari  wanted to become chief minister but the Modi-Shah duo decided on the name of Fadnavis who was much junior to him and was also from Nagpur the same city. Mars is Yogakaraka in Devendra Fadnavis Cancer lagna chart where lagna lord Moon is in the 8th house is getting aspects of Yogakaraka Mars and 9th lord Jupiter is making a good Raja Yoga. In Mercury-Saturn dasha in Vimshottari (October 2019 to June 2022) Devendra Fadnavis has to sit in the opposition as Saturn being the lord of 7th and 8th lord is functional malefic in his horoscope.

Now Devendra Fadnavis is under Ketu maha dasha from 17 June 2022 and he has again come back into the power but this time as deputy chief minister post only. Ketu is in the 2nd house in its own Nakshtra along with Venus which is the lord of 4th (Simhasana) and 11th house of gains. Ketu is also getting the aspect of lagna lord Moon and in Navamsha chart Ketu is in the 10th house of power. Since there is no influence of 5th lord and/or 9th lord on the dasha lord Ketu so Fadnavis has to be contented with the post of a minister but not the chief minister which he was aiming for since long time. In Ketu-Ketu dasha Mr. Fadnavis may not get much success in the coming BMC elections in the second half of 2022. But he will continue to become a very important leader of Maharashtra in coming years as Ketu dasha is for 7 years and the depositor of Ketu is Sun which is strongly placed in his Janma lagan.
