Partial Solar Eclipse of 25th of October 2022- What it foretells ?

The partial solar eclipse on October 25th will be the last solar eclipse of the year, which will occur in the Swati constellation in Libra sign on the Amavasya of Kartik lunar month on Tuesday. According to the ‘Rahu-Chaar- Adhyay’ of Brihat Samhita, if there is an eclipse in Libra, then people will suffer in Ujjain and its adjoining region (currently Madhya Pradesh), merchant class will face losses , Maru and Kutch region (present-day Gujarat, Rajasthan and Sindh province in Pakistan) will be badly affected. As per my understanding , immediately after this solar eclipse, the action of government agencies may give some trouble to the business class and the wealthy people in India. The prices of items falling under Libra zodiac sign like urad, rajma, barley, wheat, mustard etc. will see a rise. This partial solar eclipse will start at 2:29 pm on the 25th of October and will end at 6.15 pm as per Indian standard time . Apart from India, this eclipse is mostly visible in Europe, Middle East Asia and North Africa and West Asia. It will also be visible in the Indian Ocean

War like situation in Europe and violent protests in Iran foreseen

Within a few days of the solar eclipse, the ongoing war in Russia and Ukraine can take a terrible form. At the time of the eclipse, due to the combination of Sun and Moon in Libra with Ketu and Venus there, the bad effects of this eclipse will be felt more in the west direction. Due to the tenth aspect of Saturn transiting from Capricorn at the eclipse point on the Sun and the Moon there is a possibility of famine i.e. shortage of food grains and war like situation in Europe. There may be some violent incidents in some parts of Iran. By afflicting the fourth house of Cancer ascendant in Iran, this solar eclipse can intensify the ongoing protests of women in Iran against Hijab and fundamentalist rule of Khamenei government.

At the time of eclipse, Venus being completely combust from the Sun and suffering from the tenth aspect of Saturn is making the astrological yoga to bring the cruelest crime against women, whose special effect will be seen in Iran, Pakistan and western parts of India. The radical Islamist government in Iran will be forced to face severe sanctions and criticism from the international community after its possible military action against the women agitators.

Jupiter as the 9th lord in the lagna astrologically explain Iran’s status as theocratic religious state. The anter dasha lord Sun is in the 9th house which is in conjunction with 3rd and 12th lord Mercury showing social movement in the country. The conjunction of 5th and 10th lord Mars along with Sun in the 9th house is getting auspicious aspect of Jupiter from the lagna which will give success to Iranian women in their Anti Hijab protests. Iranian government will be forced to become more liberals like Saudi Arabia has done in recent years. This will happen mainly when transiting Saturn will reach Aquarius, in the 8th house of their foundation horoscope and the lagna of Navamsha chart of Iran, after 17th of January 2023. Big celebrities will feel restless in India

Now come back to the Eclipse horoscope again. Pisces Ascendant is rising in the horoscope formed at the time of eclipse, in which the aspect of Mercury and Saturn on retrograde Jupiter is showing trouble on some big personalities due to new economic policies of the government and action in ‘money laundering’ cases of government agencies. This eclipse, which is taking place on Tuesday, the next day of Deepawali, is a sign of any major action of the government against corruption. Sun, Moon, Ketu and Venus are in the 8th house of partial solar eclipse are getting the aspect of 12th and 11th lord Saturn which also indicate some major troubles in the country for famous persons.

Heavy Rainfall foreseen in Southern Parts of India

At the time of partial solar eclipse of 25 October 2022 there will be some rainfall activity in Southern Peninsular.

In the horoscope of Partial solar eclipse Jupiter is in opposition with Mercury which is a good yoga for rainfall. Interesting to note here is that there is no malefic planet ahead of Sun which could be an obstruction to rain. A combust Venus is getting aspect of Saturn which shows some flood like situation in some parts of Sothern states especially in Tamil Nadu’s capital Chennai.

Planets and Presidential Elections in Brazil in 2022

General elections in Brazil are schedule to be held in October 2022 in a two round system. The first round of election will be held on the 2^nd of October and if no candidate get more than 50% of votes than two candidates who receive the more number of votes will participate in the second round of election. The incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro is a retired military officer who is on the post of country’s 38^th President since 1^st of January 2019. Bolsonaro is known for his controversial public statements and his response to ‘COVID-19 Pandemic’ in Brazil was criticized widely in international media. He is now being challenged by two time former President of the country Lula Da Silva (2003 to 2010) who was diagnosed with Cancer earlier in 2011 and have now making a comeback into electoral politics after a long time. The horoscopes of both leaders are available with ‘AA’ rating at astro data bank of Lois Rodden.

In the birth chart of current Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro Janma lagna Cancer is Vargottam. Mars is in Aries in the 10^th house in own sign is astrologically explaining his career as an army officer before he joined politics. He became prominent during maha Dasha of Saturn (from September 1989 to September 2008) when he held the position at ‘lower house of Brazil’ which is known as ‘Chamber of Deputies’ from 1991 to 2018. His Saturn is exalted in the 4^th house with getting impressive Shada Bala of 10.04 Rupas.

In Rahu Bhukti in Mercury Maha Dasha Bolsonaro won the Brazil’s Presidential election on 28^th of October 2018. Rahu is in the 6^th house of competition getting the aspect of 9^th and 6^th lord Jupiter. The Maha Dasha lord Mercury is in the 8^th house along with lagna lord Moon is also getting the auspicious aspect of Jupiter. Now Bhukti of Jupiter is running in the Maha Dasha of Mercury since 1^st of October 2020. The Antra of Rahu will be present from 5^th of September 2022 to 7^th of January 2023. The Bhukti lord Jupiter is Vargottama but it is in his enemy sign Gemini. It falls in the 12^th house of losses in both Rashi and Navamsha which is not helpful. In Dashamsha Bhukti lord Jupiter is with Rahu and get the aspect of 8^th lord Mars which can give a sudden loss.

Chart 2. Annual horoscope of Jair Bolsonaro: For completed year 67

In the annual horoscope for completed year 67 for Jair Bolsonaro the picture is clearer. Here the Virgo sign is rising with lagna and 10^th lord Mercury falling in the 6^th house along with 7^th lord (Maraka) Jupiter and Muntha is also placed there looks completely inauspicious. The placement of Muntha in the 6^th house is not auspicious and it is also subject to a ‘Paap-Kartari’ yoga which shows lots of struggle for Bolsonaro. Moon is in the 2^nd house along with Ketu and get the aspect of malefic Saturn is also not good in the annual horoscope. I am using Parashari aspects in the annual horoscope as taught to me by my teacher Shri K.N. Rao.

Unfavourable Yogini Dasha and Muntha

Muntha is in Aquarius which is the 8^th house of the Janma lagna of Bolsonaro shows a sudden loss and a set-back. In Yogini Dasha the Maha Dasha of Sankata (Rahu) and Bhukti of Ulka (Saturn) is running from 20 June 2021 to 20 October 2022. As per Tajik Neelkhanti the results of the Bhukti of Ulka in the major period of Sankata are highly inauspicious. So Bolsonaro is likely to lose these presidential elections in a surprise manner.

The Taurus lagna horoscope of former Brazilian President Lula Da Silva has very good Raja Yoga in the 5^th house. The conjunction of 4^th lord Sun and 5^th lord Mercury is the best possible Raja Yoga for the Taurus lagna native as per ‘Laghu Parashari’. Then there is a very good ‘Gaja Kesari’ yoga in the 5^th house because of the good conjunction of Jupiter and Moon. But notice here the close degrees of Moon and Sun. He was born on the day of Amavasaya , and his Jupiter and Moon both get the bad aspects of Mars and Saturn respectively. He was a smoker for 40 years and got detected with throat Cancer in year 2011 when Dasha and Bhukti of Mercury was running in his chart. Mars afflicting his 2^nd house and its lords in both Rashi and Navamsha shows this aliment.

He recovered from Cancer fully after chemotherapy and later came back into politics in early 2016 when he was appointed as chief of staff under former President Dilma Rousseff.

Lula Da Silva was the founder of Workers Party in Brazil earlier. He ran unsuccessfully for the post of President three times before winning in year 2002 and then again later in 2006 also. The Maha Dasha of Saturn was running during the time of his Presidency (2003 to 2010) when he introduce great social reforms in the country and left enduring effects on Brazil’s politics. The Yogakaraka Saturn is Vargottam in his horoscope and is strongly placed in the 6^th house in Dashamsha .

Favorable Dasha of Da Silva

The Maha Dasha of Mercury and Bhukti of Jupiter is running from 26 April 2022 to 1 August 2024 in the horoscope of former president Da Silva. At the time of elections in October month the Antra of Saturn would be running from 14 August 2022 to 23 December 2022. The Maha Dasha lord Mercury is involve in Raja Yoga, while the Bhukti lord Jupiter is taking the lordship of 11^th house of gains is giving aspect to his own house. The Antra lord Saturn is Vargottama and is Yogakaraka for him. His Dasha is much favourable as compare to his opponent and current President Bolsonaro. Noticeable point here is that Bhukti lord Jupiter is strongly placed in Dashamsha lagan which can give him a comfortable victory.

Chart 4. Annual horoscope of Lula Da Silva for completed year 76

The annual horoscope for completed year 76 for Lula Da Silva is very powerful. Scorpio lagna is rising with Muntha in 11^th house in Virgo along with its lord Mercury, Mars, Moon and Sun making a great ‘Parashari’ Raja Yoga. The aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter over the Muntha and its sign lord is very auspicious. The Muntha is in Virgo which is the 5^th house of birth chart is highly favourable for Lula Da Siva who can easily get elected for the post of President during the second round of elections.

In Yogini the Maha Dasha of Pingla (Sun) is running from May 2022 to May 2024. The lord of Pingla is Sun which is involve in a good Raja Yoga in the birth chart and is also strong in Dashamsha . So astrologically Lula Da Silva can become the President of Brazil by winning elections in October this year.

Planets and India-Nepal Relations

Nepal and India enjoy excellent bilateral relations which are founded on our age old historical, cultural and religious connections. The ‘India-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship 1950’ is a bilateral treaty which is the bases of close strategic relations of these two South-Asian neighbors. This treaty enables Nepalese and Indian citizens to move freely across the border without any passport or visa. People of both countries can live and work in either country and own property or conduct a business freely in either country. Initially this treaty was supported enthusiastically by both countries but over the years there has been resentment from Nepalese after the rise of communist parties, supported by China, in their political arena. The study of the foundation horoscope of Nepal Republic indicate that there could be an amendment in the 1950 India-Nepal Peace Treaty in the coming years. Before we discuss the horoscope of Nepal Republic i will present here the ‘Swearing-In-Horoscope of Nepal former King Birendra Bir Bikram’.

There is an interesting astrological story behind the official coronation of King Birendra Bir Bikram of Shah dynasty in Nepal. Birendra was a staunch believer in astrology. When his father King Mahindra died in 1972 he consulted his court astrologer who advised him to delay his official coronation for 3 years as most auspicious time for his crowning was on 24 February 1975 at 08:37 am in the morning. Although he had inherited throne on 31 January 1972 , after the death of his father, but the official coronation took placed on 24 February 1975 in the presence of politicians and political leaders from 60 nations.

In the coronation horoscope of Nepal King Birendra the lagna Pisces is Vargottama. Jupiter and Venus, two benefic planets, are placed in the lagna. An exalted 9th lord Mars is Vargottama in the 11th house of gains. This is no doubt a very carefully chosen Muhurata for the coronation ceremony. This auspicious Muhurata fixed by King Birendra’s court astrologer helped him to rule for a very long time until his death on 1 June 2001. Despite the fact that there were many public protests demanding democracy and scraping of ‘ monarchy’ the King Birendra managed to rule for three decades thanks to the strong coronation Muhurata selected by his court astrologer.

In 1990’s pro-democracy riots broke out in Nepal which forced King Birendra to lift ban on the political parties in Nepal and declare the country a ‘constitutional monarchy’ after making amendments in her constitution. Later Nepal entered into a phase of long civil war during 1996 to 2006 between the Maoist rebels and government forces.

King Birendra died on 1 June 2001 in a massacre when crowned prince Dipendra gunned down almost all the royal family members except his uncle Gyanendra Shah who later inherited the throne.

During the region of King Birendra Nepal and India’s relations were very coordinal and peaceful. An interesting thing to note here is that Moon in King Birendra’s coronation horoscope is in Cancer sign and Pushya Nakshatra which is identical with Moon’s position in the foundation horoscope of India given below.

The rising sign of King Birendra’s coronation chart is Pisces which is the 11th house of gains in the foundation horoscope of India. It was no surprise that during the regime of King Birendra there was no major border dispute between India and Nepal.

The horoscope of Nepal Republic is set for the time when “first meet of the Constituent Assembly convened at the BICC (Birendra International convention Center) has formally declared the Country a Democratic Republic, May 28, 2008, 11: 26 PM. Interestingly Nepal Republic horoscope has Capricorn rising at the ascendant with Mars in the 7^th house, Saturn in the 8^th and Jupiter in the 12^th house just like identical with Peoples Republic of China (1 October 1949, 15:15 hours at Peking China) horoscope. Both China and Nepal had become Republic after suffering from a ‘civil war’. In Nepal’s case the decade long civil war ended the 240 years of rule by Shah Kings dynasty.

Foundation Horoscope of China

Sher Bahadur Deuba is the current Prime Minister of Nepal since July 2021. He has served four small terms as prime minister earlier in the unstable Nepali Parliament where there are many communist parties inspired by the ideology of Marxism and Lennie’s.

In Nepal Republic’s horoscope the transiting Saturn from Dhanishta Nakshatra is hovering over the natal Rahu in ‘Makar Rashi’ in the ascendant. Saturn will get retrograde in Dhanishta Nakshatra and will remain in Capricorn sign from 12 July 2022 to 17^th of January 2023 when it will move into Aquarius in direction motion. In the foundation horoscope of Nepal Republic (chart 2) the maha dasha of Jupiter and anter dasha of Rahu is running from 29 June 2020 to 22 November 2022. Then Saturn maha dasha will start which is in the 8^th house in its enemy sign Leo (Simha) and in the Nakshatra of Ketu in Magha. The ‘Dasha Chiddra’ of Jupiter-Rahu and early part of Saturn-Saturn period will be difficult for Nepal in the matters of her economy and political stability. Nepal is also undergoing a ‘Sadhe-Sati’ as the transiting Saturn is in the 12^th from her natal Moon. It has been observed in the horoscopes of nations that when transiting Saturn reaches in the 12^th, 4^th or 8^th from the natal Moon then it bring major changes in the ‘public opinion’ or ‘mood of the nation’ which can results into change of government during a democratic election or regime change after public protests.

Change of Government Foreseen in Nepal

The general elections in Nepal are schedule to be held in November 2022. At present Nepali Congress leader Sher Bahadur Deuba is the prime minister of a minority government. The current Vimshottari dasha of Jupiter-Rahu is till 22 November 2022 and the ‘Sadhe-Sati’ of Saturn is also running. This indicate a change of government after the elections which may bring K.P. Sharma Oli’s CPN (United Marxist-Leninist) party, in alliance with smaller parties, again back into power which will be a concern for India as he had earlier shown his closeness with China. As we had discussed earlier that the horoscope of Nepal Republic has its resemblance with the horoscope of ‘Peoples Republic of China’ which could means a threat of ‘Maoist Menace’ at India’s border very soon as Nepal is going to get into a major period of Saturn and also her ‘Sadhe-Sati’ is running showing some dangerous changes in her foreign policies.

See the mutual aspect between the 7^th lord Moon and lagna lord Saturn at the 6/8 axis in the horoscope of Nepal Republic. The 7^th house is the house of foreign affairs and a war like situation. Its shows major changes in the foreign policy of Nepal after the commencement of her Saturn maha dasha from 22^nd November 2022. It will definitely not going to favour India which has her Moon in the Cancer sign (15 August 1947, 00:00 hours mid night at Delhi) in her Independent chart which is making a 6/8 connection with Nepal Republic’s natal Moon in Aquarius.

Trouble foreseen between India-Nepal Relations

The diplomatic relations between India and Nepal will start deteriorating after November 2022. Nepal’s financial crisis will not be as worst as Sri Lanka as her Saturn maha dasha, which is starting in November 2022, will not be very bad due to the aspect of Jupiter on it in both Rashi and Navamsha of her Republic horoscope. There is a possibility that ‘1950 India-Nepal Peace Treaty’ could be amended in coming yeras. The Saturn-Saturn period (November 2022 to November 2025) in the horoscope of Nepal Republic indicates a difficult period with some diplomatic turmoil’s with India. Later during 2030-32, when transiting Saturn will reach at Taurus, there will be some troubles in India-Nepal relations. At that time Vimshottari dasha of Saturn-Venus would be running in the horoscope of Nepal Republic and transiting Saturn would be at the 4th house from the natal Moon in Nepal Republic horoscope. The transit of Saturn in the 4th from the natal Moon of Nepal Republic and also over the natal Sun will bring major political changes in Nepal during 2030 to 2032.

Lunar Eclipse of 16 May 2022- What it foretells ?

On May 16, the first lunar eclipse of the year 2022 will occur in Scorpio but it will not be visible in India. This lunar eclipse will be completely visible in South America and North America, where this eclipse will be seen in the night according to the local time. This eclipse will be partially visible in Africa and Europe. The effect of the planetary position at the time of eclipse will have its sway everywhere around the world. It has been observed that lunar eclipses shows its effects on weather conditions very immediately of their occurrence. The lunar eclipse of 16th of May 2022 in Scorpio sign is likely to bring rain and cold weather in Latin American countries. In USA and some parts of South America there will be a sever cyclone which may bring major meteorological disturbances in the region.

Lunar eclipse in Scorpio can bring disaster on America

At the time of the eclipse of May 16, the Moon will be in the sign of water element Scorpio and it will be in Cancer in the Navamsa. Both Scorpio and Cancer are watery sign as per the classical texts of astro-meteorology. At the time of the eclipse, Jupiter and Venus being in the sign of water element in Pisces is an astrological sign of very heavy rain. United States of America (USA) will be affected with heavy rainfall in her eastern coasts, due to the formation of a cyclonic storm in the countries of South America. There will be loss of life and properties due to heavy rain between 15 days of the eclipse. The winter season is going on in the countries of the Southern Hemisphere like Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile etc. where the lunar eclipse will bring less than normal temperature and rain. The aspects of Jupiter and Mercury on the Moon at the time of eclipse is an of some improvement in the global economy, which will start from USA.

South-West Monsoon may knock in India soon

The planetary position at the time of the eclipse indicates the early arrival of monsoon in India this year. The southwest monsoon usually hits Kerala on 1st June and It starts drenching the southern regions of India with rain. But this year, in the horoscope formed at the time of this lunar eclipse of May 16, the amount of water element in Scorpio is visible on the Moon due to the aspect of Jupiter and auspicious planets like Mercury. Due to this, there are signs of the arrival of monsoon a few days before time. Monsoon can knock in Kerala in the last week of May. Pre-monsoon conditions will create favorable circumstances for an early onset of rainfall. Due to this, there will be good rainfall in South India and North India will get some relief from the heat waves.

Fear of Violence in South Asia of 16 May eclipse

Cancer Ascendant will rise according to Indian Standard time at the time of Lunar eclipse, in which Saturn and Mars falling in the eighth house are creating the yoga of some violent incidents and public protests at some places. Saturn sitting in Aquarius will be in the 4th house from Moon which signify public sentiments. The effects on the 4th house from Moon is an indication of an excitement of emotions and some political violence, whose effect will be visible in India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Due to the eclipse falling in Scorpio, this eclipse is inauspicious for the medicine industry as per Brihat Samhita the classical texts on Mundane Astrology. Among the world leaders this eclipse is bad for Joe Biden who’s ascendant is Scorpio and Moon is in Aries. The eclipse falling in the ascendant of Joe Biden is inauspicious who is running under Jupiter-Rahu-Sun in Vimshottari in his Scorpio lagan chart.

The second half of year 2022 and early 2023 are very difficult for Joe Biden and his government in the USA. He will have to face tough time due to his declining health, natural calamities in the USA and heavy military expenditures in on going Russia-Ukraine war. Joe Biden is under ‘Dasha Chiddra’ period as his Jupiter-Rahu in Vimshottari is ending and new Maha Dasha of Saturn is about to start in third week of September this year. The eclipse falling in Scorpio right over his 10th lord Sun will give him some set backs in Senate and House of Representative elections in November 2022. Due to this his position will become weak in the country and he will struggle to discharge his duties properly about which i had indicated much earlier while giving my readings on his oath taking horoscope.
