Captain Amrinder Singh’s Peculiar Horoscope

The Dhanu lagna horoscope of Captain Amrinder Singh is very peculiar in the matter of Yoga’s present in it. It has been observed that in the horoscopes of natives born in the royal families there is a conjunction or aspects between Mars and Saturn which shows birth in families of rulers or Kashatriya linage. Amrinder Singh was born in the royal family of Patiala (Punjab) belonging to the Jat dynasty of Sidhu Brar decent. His father Yadavinder Singh was the Maharaja of Patiala. In the Dhanu (Sagittarius) lagan chart of Captain Amrinder Singh Saturn and Mars are in conjunction in the 6th house along with Jupiter. The Saturn-Mars conjunction placed in ‘Upachaya’ houses ( 3, 6, 10 and 11) gives Kshatriya personality. The lagna and fourth lord Jupiter along with 5th lord Mars is a good Raja Yoga.

The placement of these planets in the 6th house took him to the army. He joined the Indian Army in June 1963 during Venus-Ketu dasha in Vimshottari. Joining Politics

Captain Amrinder Singh joined the Congress party at the request of his school friend Rajive Gandhi. He was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 1980 during the Vimshottari dasha of Mars-Mars. In 1984 he resigned from the Congress party in protest of the ‘ operation blue star’. It was Mars-Ketu period in his chart when he left the Congress party and joined the Shiromani Akali Dal.

Breaking away Akali Dal and rejoining Congress

In the dasha of Rahu-Saturn in Vimshottari he broke away from Akali Dal and formed a splinter group in 1992. The Rahu-Saturn and the Saturn-Rahu are considered very difficult periods in general unless they are receiving the aspect of a pure Jupiter.

Captain Amrinder Singh later joined the Congress party in 1998 in his Rahu-Venus dasha in Vimshottari. The Rahu-Venus and the Venus-Rahu periods are regarded as the time of transformation in once’s life.

Chief Minister of Punjab

He became the chief minister of Punjab in Rahu-Sun dasha on 26 February 2002. He served on this post for fiver years. Captain Amrinder Singh is the president of pradesh Congress committee and was the chief minister candidate from the party during assembly elections in 2017. Although Captain Amrinder Singh was fighting election against Prakash Singh Badal the SAD chief it is interesting to know that they are distance relatives due to political marriages took placed in the 1960’s. So Punjab elections had all been a family fight between these political dynasties.

But in 2017 the situation had completely changed as with the entry of AAP under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal for the first time it happen Punjab election become a triangular fight. In the Vimshottari dasha of Jupiter-Moon-Mercury in March 2017 the results of the Punjab Assembly election came. Congress won the elections with 77 seats out of 117 seats in the legislative assembly in state. AAP got only 20 seats and Akali Dal managed to bag just 15 seats. Although the JDS and Congress has announced that they will now form a pre-poll alliance in the upcoming general elections in 2019 but the BJP is hoping that soon an ego clashes of leaders will break this partnership. Punjab and Goa Assembly Elections in 2017

Assembly elections in Punjab and Goa state are schedule to be held in the month of February this year. In Punjab the Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP coalition is ruling the state since last 10 year. The Prakash Singh Badal government has become very unpopular due to corruption charges against the senior leaders of his party. In Goa the BJP chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar is also facing the anti-incumbency threat due to similar issues. In both Punjab and Goa the issue of drug menace, illegal mining and political corruption. In Punjab it is the illegal mining of sand and in Goa it is iron ore. In Goa, which predominantly depends upon tourism industry, the issue of preserving the culture of the state from foreign influences is also on the agenda of political parties. Where as in Punjab, depending upon agriculture and textile, the problems of farmers and migrant workers will be the key elections issues.

Traditionally it has been a contest between the Congress and BJP in Goa and in Punjab, where BJP plays second fiddle to Akali Dal, the power rotates between the Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal. But now with the entry of Aam Aadmi Party these assembly elections has become a triangular contest in both the states. In Chara dasha the period of Aquarius-Aquarius is running at the time of these assembly elections in February-March 2017. The Amatayakaraka Moon in the 10th house from Aquarius is a good sign. But most of the Jaimini Karaka giving aspect to the 12th house from Aquarius sign ensures that BJP may not perform as per the expectations.

The position of anter dasha lord Venus is very good in both Rashi and Navamsha chart. However, the Chara dasha of Leo-Aries is not very promising. The Amatayakaraka Sun is giving aspect to the 12th house from Aries. In transit the Saturn moving over the 10th house over the natal Sun shows the time of change in the leadership of party.

At present the party is struggling with expose of scandals involving its senior leaders from Delhi and Punjab. In the Goa state the present BJP government will be replaced by Congress or AAP after the assembly polls. The Vimshottari Dasa running during the assembly polls is Jupiter-Mars from 5 March 2016 to 9 February 2017. The strong position of these two planets in Rasi and Navamsa chart indicates a very decisive public mandate during the coming assembly polls in Goa. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will have very good chances to form a government in the Goa state. The AAP will depend upon Arvind Kejriwal as their star campaigner in both Punjab and Goa. The Kejriwal running under the strong dasha of Jupiter-Venus in his Leo lagna horoscope is likely to emerge as a national level leader in the manner which will surprise many political ‘Pandit’s’ of country.

In the state of Uttarakhand the context is between Congress and BJP in the assembly elections to be held in February 2017. The Congress chief minister Harish Rawat successfully defended a revolt against his government backed by the BJP in the first half of year 2016. The matter of disqualifying Congress MLA’s and the imposing of president rule in the state was gone to the Supreme Court. In the month of May Harish Rawat won the trust vote at the floor of the house thus beating the BJP in its political game of exploiting the crisis in various state units of Congress party. In this context let us discuss the chart of Harish Rawat.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Saturn 17 years 2 months 1 day

Harish Rawat was born in village Mohanari, near Chaunalia, Almora district , on April 27, 1947 to Rajendra Singh Rawat and Devaki Devi. He completed his B.A. and L.L.B from Lucknow University. As we know that for studying Lawthere must be a P.A.C (Position-Aspect-Conjunction) relation of the 5^th, 6^th, 9^th and 10^th houses/lords and the influence of planets Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. In the birth chart the sixth and ninth lord Jupiter is placed in the fifth house. The fifth and tenth lord Mars is in the ninth house receiving the aspect of Jupiter in turn. So the P.A.C of 5^th, 6^th , 9^th and 10^th houses/lords is very strong. You can also notice the influence of Saturn, Jupiter and Mars over this houses in the birth chart confirming the fact of his study of law. He studied law in the Vimshottari dasha of Mercury ( from 1964-1981) which is placed in the ninth house in the birth chart.

He first came into limelight in the national politics when he defeated the BJP veteran Dr. Murali Monahar Joshi in 1980’s general election , from the Almora Parliamentary constituency, which was dominated by Indira Gandhi’s presence and is know for his miraculous come back. It was his Mercury/Saturn (from September 1978 to May 1981) dasha in Vimshottari. See the position of seventh lord Saturn, seventh house is the house of public life, with lagan lord Moon. Saturn is also aspecting the tenth house in the birth chart and in Dashamsha it is strongly placed in the ninth house.

He was also reelected to the Lok Sabha in the general elections of 1984 and 1989. The maha dasha of Ketu (1981 to 1988) gave him study progress in his political career because of its present in the fifth house of minister-ship along with ninth lord Jupiter in the birth chart. Ketu is also strongly placed in the lagan of Dashamsha chart. But than came the maha-dasha of Venus (from May 1988 to May 2008) which saw ups and down in his career.

Venus is debilitated in the Navamsha and also in the conjunction of malefics like Saturn and Ketu. Venus is also the eighth lord of Dashamsha which gave him a downfall as in contesting on Congress ticket, Rawat lost the Almora Lok Sabha seat four times in a row – in 1991, 1996, 1998 and 1999 General elections. In 2004 Lok Sabha elections, Rawat’s wife Renuka Rawat tried her luck but the fate was the same. This was all because of the Venus maha-dasha he got (from May 1988 to May 2008) which is though exalted in the ninth house of birth chart but have just 22 Bindus in Ashatakavarga and also deblited in the Navamsah and having the lordship of eighth house in the Dashamsha had a bad effect on his political career.

However, the 2009 Lok Sabha elections came as a real surprise for political pundits when Harish Rawat, who originally belongs to Almora district in Kumaon, shifted base to Haridwar and won the election by over 1-lakh margin. This was all because of the magic of Sun maha dasha in Vimshottari (from May 2008 to May 2014) because of which Mr. Rawat got over 3.32 lakh votes to trounce BJP candidate Swami Yatindranand Giri (2 lakh votes) and Shahzad of the BSP (1.81 lakh votes). See the exalted Sun placed in the tenth house in the birth chart and it is also in the eleventh house of Dashamsah in his own sign Leo. The anterdasha was of YogaKaraka Mars (from Marcy 2009 to July 2009) which is strongly placed in the ninth house of Luck.

Since his miraculous victory in the general elections of 2009 he is the union minister of state and is in the good books of media, general public and his party president Smt. Sonia Gandhi because of his clean image and efficiency of managing ministerial work.

He became the chief minister of Uttarakhand on 1 February 2014 during the Vimshottari dasha of Sun-Venus. The anter dasha lord Venus is the 11th lord in Rashi chart and in Dashamsha it is the lord of lagan showing achievement in his career.

Now the Harish Rawat is under an enigmatic period of Moon-Rahu ( 29 October 2015 to 29 April 2017) in Vimshottari dasha. Moon is place in its own sign in the ascendant along with 7^th and 8^th lord Saturn which is a combination of mental agonies. The aspect of Jupiter over the Moon is a saving grace though. At the time of assembly elections in February he will be under the sub period of Moon. The Moon-Saturn combination is also known for giving mass following. But Moon is badly place in the 8^th house of Navamsa chart which is not good. Although the anter Dasa lord Rahu is well deposited at the 11^th house of Rasi chart and is receiving the aspect of 9^th lord Jupiter.

In Jaimini Chara Dasa the period of Sagittarius is in operation from 26 April 2006 to 26 April 2017. The Atamakaraka Mercury, Amatayakaraka Mars and Matrikaraka Venus are giving aspect to Sagittarius and the 10^th house from it showing great chances of success for Harish Rawat. The next Chara Dasa of Scorpio would also be better as these Jaimini Karaka’s would then be giving their aspect to the 11^th house from this Rasi Dasa. So its look like that Harish Rawat will secure a decisive victory in the assembly polls in 2017 and will rule the state for another 5 year. In the horoscope of the state of Uttarakhand the Vimshottari Dasa of Mercury-Rahu ( 3 December 2014 to 21 June 2017) will be running at the time of assembly polls. Mercury as the 12^th lord in Rasi chart and Rahu place in the 12^th house is clearly explaining the situation of political turmoil faced by this state in recent time. Now the transiting Saturn from Sagittarius will give its 10^th aspect to the Mars which is the lord of 10^th house in the horoscope of Uttarakhand. The Jupiter is already transiting over the 10^th lord Mars in the sign Virgo. So we can expect a strong government after the assembly polls of 2017. The Dasa lords Rahu and Mercury are at good 4-10 axis in Navamsa chart.

The BJP has not yet declared its candidate for the post of chief minister in the state of Uttarakhand. In the horoscope of BJP the difficult period of Sun-Ketu in Vimshottari is likely to give them adverse results in the assembly polls in February-March 2017.
