Assembly elections in the northern state of Uttarakhand are expected to be held in February 2027 for 70 legislative seats. In the last assembly elections in February 2022 BJP has won 47 seats with impressive 44.30% of votes while the opposition Congress Party has got only 20 seats with 37.9% of votes. The ruling BJP led by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is highlighting the implementation of Uniform Civil Code (UGC) in the state. They are also banking on the up-gradation of pilgrimage and tourism management for ‘Panch Kedar Yatra’. But the opposition party Congress is raising issues of law and order, inflation and cost of living, poor health care and education infrastructure etc. The oath taking horoscope of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami indicate that his government will fail to get re-elected in Uttarakhand assembly elections 2027.

Pushkar Singh Dhami has assured office on 4 July 2021 and late he got re-elected in February 2022 after his party won assembly election in the state. This murder case of a young girl gained much publicity in national and state media due to the use of political power in an attempt at rape by coercion. Venus as the 4th lord is in the 7th house with two hard malefic Saturn and Mars. Also, Rahu and Ketu are in Kendra which is making square with the Venus.
