Planets and UP Assembly Elections 2022

After the defeat in West Bengal assembly elections the upcoming polls of Uttar Pradesh (UP) has become more crucial for the Bharitiya Janata Party (BJP). Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has recently inaugurated scores of big infrastructure scheme for this most populated state of India. UP has a population of 215 millions people (more than 20 crores) which is larger than the population of many of the countries in the world. In the last assembly elections in UP , BJP had won with a thumping majority and had made Yogi Adityanath the chief minister of the state. The horoscope of CM Yogi Adityanath available with us has a major ‘Sanyas Yoga’ along with some very good Raja Yoga’s which has made him a very charismatic leader and according to some a prospect for the future prime minister of the country. But as per my humble understanding the difficult maha dasha of Ketu in the horoscope of Yogi Aditynath may not give him full majority in the UP assembly elections and it is highly likely that he may have to form an unstable government with the help of some smaller parties. We will discuss the horoscope of UP chief minister in the last part of this post , but first look at the charts of Congress, BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) and main opposition party SP (Samajwadi Party) leaders at the beginning.

Horoscope of Priyanka Gandhi

Born: 12 January 1972, at 17 hours and 05 minutes, at Delhi (77E 13′, 28N 40′) with a balance of 8 years 1 month and 28 days of Saturn maha dasha.

In the Gemini lagna horoscope of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi the lagna lord Mercury is in the 7th house along with 7th and 10th lord Jupiter and the 3rd lord Sun. As per Brihat Jataka of Acharya Varahamihira if the Janma lagna get the aspects of Jupiter, Mercury and/or the lord of lagna then it gives a special Raja Yoga as the native’s birth ascendant get lots of strength. In case of Priyanka Gandhi this condition gets fulfilled and apart from this her Mars also aspect the Janma lagna making her a very dynamic personality. But then her Moon is badly placed in the 6th house getting the aspect of Saturn from the 12th house which is a ‘Visha Yoga’ considered to be bad for health and can give emotional setbacks.

A bad exchange between 9th lord Saturn and 12th lord Venus is also giving her struggle in the initial phase of her political career. During Venus maha dasha and Saturn anter dasha (from January 2017 to March 2020) she was made the Congress in-charge for UP state , but she was not able to achieve anything as her party could only manage to win a single Lok Sabha seat from out of 72 in the general elections of 2019. Now at the time of the UP assembly polls she is undergoing Venus-Mercury-Rahu period from 9 October 2021 to 13 March 2022. Her anter dasha lord Mercury is good in both Rashi and Navamsha but the Pratyanter dasha lord Rahu is badly placed in the 8th house of birth chart. So she could only manage to get a little higher share of votes for the party but will not be able to achieve anything significant from these elections. A noticable point here is that her sub-sub period lord Rahu is transiting in the 12th house from her Janma lagna and over her natal Saturn which is bad.

Until her Sun maha dasha starts in March 2024 we can’t expect any major success in her political career. Sun is Vargottama in her chart and is strongly placed in most of the Varga charts.

Horoscope of Mayawati

Born: 15 January 1956 at 19 hours and 50 minutes at Delhi (77E 13′, 28N 40′) with a balance of 4 years 4 months and 10 days of Mars dasha.

The Cancer lagna horoscope of former UP Chief Minister Mayawati amply explains why she has remained unmarried yet. The aspect of Saturn on the Sun, Moon and Mercury in the 7th house has denied her marital comforts. During the maha dasha of Saturn (May 1994 to May 2013) she was at the peak of her political career as she become the chief minister of UP on four occasions. Saturn is making a special yoga in the horoscope of Mayawati. In Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra Chapter number 49 (Vishesh Nakshatra Dasha Phala Adhyay) stanza number 14 and 15 a special condition regarding Maha Dasa of 6^th, 8^th and 12^th houses lords has been discussed. As per this Sloka the Maha Dasa of ‘Dusthana’ lords (6^th, 8^th and 12^th houses) can be auspicious if they are associated with trine lords i.e. lord of the 5^th house and/or the 9^th house. In case of Mayawati her Saturn is in the 5th house in conjunction with 5th and 10th lord Mars in her Cancer lagna chart. In Navamsha Saturn is the lord of 12th and 11th house and is in conjunction with 9th lord Mars and 5th lord Moon. So Saturn is making this association with 5th and/or 9th house lords in both Rashi and Navamsha charts of Mayawati.

Mercury maha dasha of Mayawati

Ever since the Maha Dasha of 3^rd and 12^th lord Mercury has started from May 2013 Mayawati’s political career is on the declining phase. Her party failed to win any seat in the Lok Sabha during general elections of 2014. Later in 2017 UP assembly elections, when Mayawati was under Mercury-Venus period in Vimshottari, her party could manage only 19 seats out of 403 though her party has got 22.23% votes. This time when UP assembly elections will take place in early 2022, Mayawati would be running under Mercury-Mars period (November 2021 to November 2022) in Vimshottari. The anter dasha lord Mars is Yogakaraka in her birth chart and is strongly placed in the 5th house. In Navamsa Mars is the lord of 9^th house and conjoined with 5^th lord Moon. In Dashamsha, which is not given here, Mars is strongly placed in the 10^th house of power along with 9^th lord Sun. These yoga’s indicate a better performance by Mayawati during upcoming UP assembly elections. She will not become chief minister as her Maha Dasha lord Mercury is not involve in any Raja Yoga but still she will play an important role in formation of the new government.

Birthday Blunder of Akhilesh Yadav and Astrologers Confusions !

As per the official records the birth date of former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav is 1 July 1973 but that is not correct at all. I was not aware of it until recently i got some very strong evidences that his actual date of birth is 24 October 1972 only. I had used the wrong horoscope for Akhilesh Yadav in many of my articles including the recent one for Navbharat Times online newspaper site and also for an astrological magazine, for which i sincerely apologise to my readers. As per the news report in Indian Express, link is given below, Akhilesh Yadav birthday is on October 24,while July 1 is wrongly mentioned as his birthday in official record. The error occurred when Akhilesh was first admitted to school back in Etawah, and was never corrected.

I had also asked one of my friend to get confirm the real birthday of Akhilesh Yadav from Sunita Aron who had written his biography ‘Winds of Change’. Again a confirmation was received that Akhilesh Yadav’s birth date is 24 October 1972 only.

The horoscope of Akhilesh Yadav is cast with details 24 October 1972, 06 hours and 25 minutes at Etawah (79 E 01′ , 26 N 46′) with balance of 5 years 3 months and 12 days of Sun maha dasha. This horoscope appeals to be correct as it shows an early illness of Akhilesh Yadav’s mother as Saturn as the 4th lord is in the 8th house . Her mother was into serious illness since 1986-87 when Akhilesh Yadav’s Moon maha dasha (1978 to 1988) was about to end.

Akhilesh Yadav married on 24 November 1999 when he was passing through Rahu maha dasha and Jupiter anter dasha in Vimshottari. Rahu is in the 3rd house along with Jupiter which aspect the 7th house of marriage in his Libra lagna birth chart. From Moon the 5th lord Sun is in the 7th house and the 7th lord Venus is in the 5th house is the yoga for love marriage in his chart. In Navamsha the anter dasha lord Jupiter is taking the lordship of Navamsha lagna showing his marriage during its anter dasha.

In Rahu maha dasha and Saturn anter dasha from June 2000 to May 2003 her mother was in vegetative state and later died in May 2003. Her father and former UP chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav married for the second time after the death of his wife in 2003. Affliction to the 3rd house, which is 7th from the 9th house of father, shows second marriage of his father.

Akhilesh Yadav become the chief minister in year 2012 in Rahu maha dasha and Mars anter dasha after the victory of his party in assembly elections.. In year 2017 during the difficult dasha of functional malefic Jupiter and anter dasha of Saturn, which is in the 6th house from dasha lord, he lost the election and become the opposition leader.

Enigmatic Jupiter-Venus dasha of Akhilesh Yadav

Now Akhilesh Yadav is under Jupiter maha dasha and Venus anter dasha which will run from December 2020 to August 2023. Venus the anter dasha lord is strong in the 11th house and is in exchange with 11th lord Sun which is a good Dhana Yoga. In Navamsha Venus is in some malefic associations which is not favorable The assembly elections will take place during Jupiter-Venus-Rahu from 3 December 2021 to 28 April 2022 which is decent. But in Jaimini system the Chara Dasha of Taurus is running from which his Amatayakaraka Moon falls in the 12th house of losses. It is highly likely that he may miss the chance to become the chief minister with a very slight margin. But he will surely shine as a strong leader in the national politics and have a very bright future ahead as the transiting Saturn from Aquarius sign from April 2022 onwards will be good for him.

Horoscope of Yogi Adityanath

Born on 5 June 1972, 10 hours and 54 minutes at Pauri (78 E 47′, 30 N 09′) with balance of 9 years 5 months 16 days of Jupiter dasha.

There are two different horoscope of Yogi Adityanath in circulation ever since he has become chief minister of UP in 2017. The horoscope given above is taken from the Hindi book “Kundali ka Dusara Panna” by senior astrologer Shri Suresh Chandra Mishtra. The other horoscope is in circulation s a different date of birth (29 December 1971) with Cancer lagna rising which does not appears to be correct as it do not have any yoga for remaining unmarried till now.

The Leo lagna chart amply explain his bachelorhood as Moon is in Kemadruma Yoga in the 7^th house of marriage and get the aspect of its sign lord Saturn. The 12^th house (Bhoga Sathan) has Ketu gettingt he 3^rd aspect of Saturn also gives yoga for no marriage. In Navamsa chart the lagna and Moon both are hemmed by malefic Mars and Saturn showing lack of marital happiness. He was born in a Thakur family of Pauri Garhwal region of Uttarkhand. He left home in early 1990’s and joined Ram temple movement. It was during the Maha Dasa of Saturn (from November 1981 to November 2000) when he took ‘Sanyas’ (renunciation) in 1993 during his Saturn-Moon Dasha in Vimshottari. He was given Diksha by Mahant Adityanath the chief of Gorakhnath Math. Yogi Adityanath formed his own ‘Hindu Yuva Vahini’ and in 1998 (Saturn-Jupiter period in Vimshottari) he won the Lok Sabha election on the ticket of BJP from Gorakhpur. Later he retain this Lok Sabha seat by winning all the elections during his Mercury maha Dasa (November 2000 to November 2017). Mercury as the 11^th lord is in the 10^th house and is in exchange with 10^th lord Venus which gave him great rise in politics at a very young age. Notisable point here is that Mercury and Saturn both are combust by lagna lord Sun.

He became chief minister of UP, against all odds, on the 19^th of March 2017 during his Mercury-Saturn-Rahu in Vimshottari. The maha Dasa of Ketu started in the horoscope of Yogi Adityanath from 21 November 2017. Ketu is in the 12^th house in Rashi chart and in Dasamsha it is in the 8^th house because of which he has to face many difficult situations during his tenure as the chief minister of state. As per the media reports the senior BJP leadership also tried to force him to resign from the post after the high number of deaths being reported during the second wave of COVID pandemic in the months of April-May 2021. This was the period of Ketu-Rahu in Vimshottari from October 2021 to November 2021 in the horoscope of Yogi Adityanath. Rahu is in the 6^th house shows strife and opposition for him. But at the time of UP assembly elections he would be under a little better Vimshottari Dasha of Ketu-Jupiter from 8 November 2021 to 15 November 2022. Jupiter as the 5^th lord is in own sign and is in mutual aspect with Yogakaraka Mars which is in the 11^th house of gains.

In Navamsa chart the Bhukti lord Jupiter is exalted and is in conjunction with Sun and Mercury.

As per Jaimini’s Chara Dasha a difficult period of Aquarius-Capricorn from 4 December 2021 to 4 September 2022 would be running in his horoscope. Aquarius has the Atamakaraka of Yogi Adityanath but it is the 10^th house from his Karakamsha lagna Taurus. The anter Dasha Rashi Capricorn is the 6^th house from lagna and 12^th house from his Atamakaraka Moon which is not very favourable.

So Yogi Adityanath can led BJP to become the single largest party in the UP assembly but may not get the full majority. If no party get full majority in UP assembly then Mayawati is likely to play the crucial role to back BJP in forming the new government. In any case Yogi Adityanath will become the chief minister of a weak government in UP assembly after the elections but may not be able to complete its tenure as his Maha dasa lord Ketu is not favourable in his horoscope.

Sun’s entry into Libra and Kashmir Affairs

In the last 15 days eleven innocent civilians have been brutally murdered by terrorists in Kashmir region including 5 local’s. In the month of August 2019 BJP led government abrogated Article 370 and also passed a bill which made Jammu & Kashmir a union territory and separated Ladakh by making two new union territories which came into effect from 31st of October 2019. The horoscope of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory will be considered for the mid night of 31st of October 2019 when it came into existence as per the government of India notification. Traditionally the zodiacal sign of Jammu & Kashmir is Libra. It has been observed that malefic planet’s influence on Libra sign create disturbances in the region of Jammu & Kashmir.

Swearing-In horoscope of Mamata Banerjee – What it foretells?

After winning a historic election, Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee took oath as the Chief Minister for the third time in a simple ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata at 11:49 am on Wednesday morning on the 5^th of May 2021. After this major victory against the BJP now many political pundits are speculating the possibility of Mamata Banejree’s new role as the challenger to Narender Modi in the general elections of 2024. I had forecasted about the victory of Mamata Banerjee’s Trinmoola Congress party on the basis of the foundation chart of this party in my article “Planets and West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021” published in the May 2021 issue of ‘The Planets & Forecast’ magazine at page number 20. On this blog the predictions about West Bengal assembly elections were given on much earlier on the 28th of February 2021 in my post ‘Deceptive Horoscope of Mamata Banerjee and West Bengal Assembly Elections in 2021’.

Now let’s analysis the oath taking horoscope of Mamata Banerjee to see the future prospects of her third term in West Bengal.

Chart 1. Oath Taking Horoscope of Mamata Banerjee

In the horoscope formed at the time of taking oath of a politician for a constitutional post, the ascendant house signify the leader’s cabinet and at the same time it also gives astrological indications about the working style of that leader himself. Mamata Banerjee’s swearing-in horoscope has Cancer rising in the ascendant, who’s lord Moon is forming a big Raja Yoga in conjunction with Jupiter in the eighth house, but since it is in a ‘Dusthana’, so it is also an indication of some major emergency like situation for her in running the government and managing political affairs in state. There might be an accidental loss of a cabinet member due to an illness or some untoward incident during her tenure. Very shocking decisions in the working style of Mamata Banerjee will force her to face some criticism in the very beginning of her third tenure as the chief minister. Wednesday is auspicious for taking oath but the date is the ‘Navami’ Tithi of Krishna Paksha, which is inauspicious for the health of the cabinet leaders and incumbent chief minister.

Nakshatra at the time of oath taking is ‘Shatabhisha’ which is good for ‘swearing-in’ ceremonies and yoga is Bramha which is also auspicious.

Fresh Challenges for Mamata Banerjee in 2022-23

Immediately after the results of assembly elections Mamata Banerjee has been engaged in litigations related to post-poll violence in West Bengal and also a case in which her party has challenged the results of ‘Nandigram’ elections win of BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari. On the 7^th of July a Calcutta High Court Judge has also fined Rs. 5 Lakhs to Mamata Banerjee for ‘ a pre-planned move to malign a judge’s image and violating his constitutional duties’. {Refer link https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/mamata-banerjee-fined-rs-5-lakh-by-calcutta-high-court-judge-justice-kaushik-chanda-who-exits-case-says-preplanned-move-to-malign-judge-2481052} . The Nandigram loss was the sole disappointment for Mamata Banerjee amid the landslide victory in West Bengal Elections in which her party had won 213 seats out of total 294 seats in the assembly. Noticeable point here in the swearing-in horoscope of Mamata Banerjee is the conjunction of 6^th lord (court cases and enemies) and 9^th lord (judiciary) Jupiter with lagna lord Moon in the 8^th house of controversies and humiliation. In Navamsha Jupiter again become the 6^th lord which aspect the 8^th house. In Dashamsha of the oath taking chart Jupiter is 6^th lord again along with 9^th lord Saturn and 12^th lord Mercury in the 9^th house of judiciary.

Mamata Banerjee is going to get some hard time in fighting these legal battles during 2022-23 when transiting Saturn will be in Aquarius right over her natal Moon in the swearing-in horoscope.

BJP will aggressively try to counter Mamata Banerjee

In the swearing-in horoscopes the 7^th house is the house of opposition parties. Here in this case the major opposition party is BJP which will aggressively try to obstruct Mamata Banerjee’s national ambitions. The 7^th house has Saturn in its own sign getting the aspect of Mars which shows very tense relations between the opposition and ruling government of Mamata Banerjee in the state assembly. An exalted Sun in the 10^th house will give Mamata Banergee a great public image of good administrator and an honest leader. The 11^th lord Venus is in own house in conjunction with 3^rd and 12^th lord Mercury indicate her party getting good support from other likeminded political groups as the 3^rd and 11^th house in the swearing-in charts shows help from supporting parties or groups.

The 10^th lord Mars is in the 12^th house getting aspect of 9^th lord Jupiter is a good Raja Yoga showing increase in public expenditure in welfare schemes of the government. In the Navamsha and Dashamsha the 10^th lord is involved in good Raja Yoga’s. But at the time of Saturn’s transit into Aquarius and Rahu’s movement into Aries there would be some danger of president rule being enforced by the central government in West Bengal or some emergency situation getting developed during the second half of 2022 or in early 2023.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Moon 2 years 11 months 15 days

In the Pisces lagna horoscope of Trinmoola Congress Party the enigmatic Rahu-Venus dasha is running from July 2019 to July 2022. Rahu is in the 6^th house of strife and enemies. Venus as the 8^th and 3^rd lord is in the 11^th house of gains. We all know how the BJP had made efforts to defect many Trinmoola leaders since last two years but many of them failed to perform during the assembly elections recently held. BJP had defected 30 MLA’s from the Trinmoola Congress just before these assembly polls and now many of them are coming back to the Trinmoola party included the senior most leader Mukul Roy. In Navamsha the sub period (Bhukti) lord Venus is exalted and in Dashamsha Venus is strongly placed in the 12^th house getting aspect of Jupiter making Trinmoola Party strong now under its remaining dasha.

In Rahu-Sun dasha (5 July 2022 to 30 May 2023) party may face some trouble due to court cases but it will try to expand for a national role. In Rahu-Moon period (30 May 2023 to 28 November 2024) party will do very well in the general elections in 2024 by winning most of the Lok Sabha (Parliament) seats in the state. Moon is the 5^th lord in the 11^th house of gains along with lagna lord Jupiter and 9^th lord Mars is in a good Raja Yoga. Party’s leader Mamata Banerjee will play an important role in the formation of a new government at the centre in 2024. So the oath taking horoscope of Mamata Banerjee and her party Trinmoola Congress horoscopes both are giving very promising indications for a ‘national role’ for Mamata Banerjee at the center in year 2024.

This year’s assembly elections was the first one after the demise of Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa, the two stalwarts of Dravidian politics. The son of M. Karunanidhi and DMK chief Stalin led his party to a landslide victory which was not a big surprise for those who knows Tamil Nadu politics . M.K. Stalin was born on 1 March 1953 at Chennai at 23:50 pm, has Janma lagna of Scorpio rising as the ascendant, in which a big Raja Yoga is being formed by the ninth lord Moon in the 10^th house in mutual aspect with the tenth lord Sun sitting at the fourth house. The strength of this yoga made his father M Karunanidhi the 5 time chief minister of the state and has was also a very famous Tamil poet and writer. M.K. Stalin has recently won the Tamil Nadu assembly elections which bring back his party DMK into power after 10 years. I had made the prediction about his success well in advance in my article “Planets and Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections in 2021” posted on this blog on 17th of March 2021.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Sun 5 years 3 months 20 days

As per Laghu Parashari for Scorpio ascendant Moon and Sun make the best possible Raja Yoga which is very strongly visible in the birth chart of Mr. Stalin. The above mention yoga is fortified by the aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter on Moon. If we carefully observe the Navamsha and Dashamsha then we find out that Sun and Moon both are in benefic varga’s getting decent strength. The conjunction of lagna and 6^th lord Mars with 8^th and 11^th lord Mercury shows Stalin’s disputes with his elder brother M.K. Alagiri. Rahu is in the 3^rd house and the 3^rd lord Saturn is in the 12^th house which amply explain Stalin’s troubles with younger sister Kanimozhi. Stalin’s party DMK was out of power since losing the assembly elections in 2012 (Saturn-Saturn dasha) and also in 2017 (Saturn-Venus dasha). On both occasions Stain was under bad dasha periods of Saturn-Saturn and Saturn-Venus respectively, both connected with the 12^th house in Rashi. In Navamsha and Dashamsha Venus is badly placed in the 8t house.

In Stalin’s horoscope, at present, the Antardasha of the Moon sitting in the tenth house in the Vimshottari dasha of the exalted Saturn sitting in the twelfth house is going on, which has got him the post of Chief Minister after a huge election victory. Stalin’s party , in the 234-member Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, DMK has won 159 seats and got 45% votes, which is a big achievement. Next in Stalin’s horoscope, there is going to be a difficult Vimshottari dasha like Saturn-Mars (December 2021 to February 2023) and then Saturn-Rahu (February 2023 to December 2025), in which he may have to face some big difficulties. There may be problems with the leaders of his own party. Stalin may also have to face some controversies with his elder brother Alagiri and younger sister Kanimozhi.

Stalin took oath on the day of Friday (7 May 2021) 09:13 am at Chennai, when the Gemini ascendant was rising in which Mars sitting in the Ascendant is giving astrological indications towards some big challenges. The Tithi Shukla Ekadashi, Nakshatra Poorva Bhadrapada, Yoga Vaidhriti and Karana Balava are fine but the 6^th lord Mars sitting in the ascendant of the oath taking horoscope can make Stalin’s style of work furious and will invite lots of conflicts. The outbreak of the third wave of the ongoing corona epidemic may increase rapidly in Tamil Nadu, about which Stalin has to take strict measures like lockdown any time around October this year. In the swearing-in-horoscope, the conjunction of Rahu with Venus in the 12^th house along with ascendant lord Mercury will prompt Stalin to make big expenses in dealing with Corona and spending money on big social welfare schemes during his tenure which will put pressure on state exchequer. In the ninth house Jupiter is sitting and looking at the Ascendant, due to which Stalin will be successful in his endeavors since Jupiter is unaffiliated in both Rashi and Navamsha. The Moon sitting in the tenth house is strong in Pisces and Cancer sign is in the Navamsha, which will not allow any special harm to Stalin’s public image. But Saturn sitting in the eighth house is giving its 3^rd aspect at the tenth house is not good. The aspect of 6^th lord Mars on the 8^th and 9^th lord Saturn indicate some troubles from higher judiciary which may come on the matter of reservation case of Tamil Nadu government which is on hearing at the apex court.

Troubles for Stalin Indicated in 2025-2026

In interesting point to note here is that in the swearing-in-horoscope of M.K. Stain Moon is in Pisces in Poorva-Bhadrapada Nakshatra over which the transiting Saturn will come in early 2025. Saturn transiting over the natal Moon of swearing-in horoscope of a leader will give him great administrative difficulties if in his birth chart the dasha of hard malefic is running that time. This point I have observed in case of so many chief ministers since last one decade. In year 2025 Stalin will face similar situation when in his birth chart a difficult period of Saturn-Rahu in Vimshottari would be running and the transiting Saturn would be over the natal Moon of his swearing-in horoscope. Moreover Stalin has his natal Moon in Leo from where the transiting Saturn in 2025 would be in Pisces i.e. his 8^th house.

Now see the horoscope of Tamil Nadu State where Vimshottari Dasha of Jupiter-Ketu is running from January 2021 to December 2021. Ketu is in the 12^th house of expenditure along with 2^nd and 7^th lord Mars. The state has to incur huge expenditure on the third wave of COVID during October to December this year. Later Jupiter-Venus dasha from end of December 2021 to August 2024 will be good for state’s infrastructure development, textile industry, farmers, fisheries and women welfare. The Tamil Nadu state will progress very fast during 2022 to 2024.
