Almost half of the country is reeling under the fury of devastating rain in July month during the ongoing south-west monsoon season. The monsoon express started with a delay of almost 5 days and it was till 21st of June that most part of the country were under the grip of severe drought. After the Sun entered into Ardra Nakshatra the south-west monsoon pic up the speed. But till the end of June month the country was having 11% of deficient rainfall. But things changed very quickly in the first week of July as Mars had now moved into direct motion.
In July first week the central India witness extremely heavy rainfall and devastating flood. In Madhya Pradesha there was 27% excess rainfall during the first week of July.

Now see the Ardra Pravesh chart to understand how the drought stricken area till the June 21 are now receiving good rainfall with the blessing from the heavens.
Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshatra
21 June 2016, 23:01 hours Delhi
Some important features of Ardra Pravesh chart which indicated good rainfall.
- The Sun entered into Ardra Nakshara in the Shukla Paksha a day before full Moon which is good.
- The Sun’s entry into the Ardra Nakshatra was during the night time which is an indicator of good rain.
- Moon in the Ardra Pravesh chart is receiving the aspects of Jupiter and Venus the two watery planets.
- The lagna lord Saturn is in watery sign Scorpio and it is in mutual aspect with watery planet Mercury.
- Jupiter is giving aspect to both lagna and Moon which is a promise of good rainfall.
These were all good yoga’s promising rainfall during the monsoon season. But there are some other combinations which indicate an erratic rainfall season. The retrograde movement of Saturn is one of them. The placement of Moon in the Sagittarius a dry sign also indicate scanty rain at some places.
At present Gujarat and Western parts of Rajasthan have received scanty rainfall. Punjab and Harayana have also received less than normal rainfall till the end of July. But thing would improve very soon as the planetary conjunction of Jupiter, Mercury and Venus in Leo and Virgo signs respectively will bring lots of rain in the month of August.
New Moon

See the new Moon chart of 3rd of August the conjunction of Jupiter, Mercury and Venus in Leo is making a combination of torrential rainfall during the first fortnight of August month. On the day of 5th of August when Moon will also join these three watery planets there will be wide spread heavy rain across the country. The states of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, U.P. and Bihar will witness extremely heavy rainfall around 5th of August. In the Gujarat and western Rajasthan good rainfall will ease the deficit of rain.
There will be some painful incidents of cloud burst and land slides in the state of Uttarakhand during the first fortnight of August resulting into the heavy losses of lives and properties.
Earthquake Anticipated in August-September
The close conjunction of Saturn and Mars in Scorpio sign and later the solar eclipse on the 1st of September is likely to bring big earthquakes around the world. The chances of tremors will be more around the 23rd of August and 1st of September. The Pakistan and North India signified by Scorpio sign can received strong earthquakes around the full Moon of 18th of August.
Full Moon
18 August 2016 , 14:57 hours at Delhi
In the full Moon chart of 18th of August the Saturn and Mars are at close degrees in the Scorpio sign. The majority of planets in the fixed rashi’s is a combination of an earthquake. Jupiter is in Virgo sign and Capricorn navamsha. The position of Jupiter in earthy sign and earthy navamshas bring earthquake if other astrological pointers for the same are also visible.
So around the full Moon of 18th of August or 23rd of August, when Saturn and Mars would be conjoined at the same degrees there are chances of strong earthquakes. It is difficult to locate the direction but it could be in the Himalayan region of Pakistan and North India. Delhi-NCR would also be hit be these tremors badly.
Later the solar eclipse of 1st of September would bring some tremors in the south-east direction. On the day of solar eclipse of 1st of September the majority of planets would be in the south-east direction in Koorma Chakra which might bring earthquakes in countries like Indonesia, Thailand or Myanmar or Malaysia. There is also a threat of Tsunami in the south-east direction during the first week of September. I have send an article on this topic to the editor of The Planets & Forecast Magazine explaining the Koorma Chakra. I will soon post that article for the readers of this blog.
