In astro-meteorology Venus, Mercury, Moon and Jupiter are watery planets. Saturn, Mars and Ketu are dry planets. Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces are watery signs. On the day of Amavasya (No Moon) on 23rd of December 2022 the conjunction of Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius has brought the onset of cold waves in many parts of North India. On the eve of New Year 2023 the conjunction of Venus, Mercury and Saturn in watery sign Capricorn is giving an indication of heavy snowfall in hilly areas of Himalayas especially in the state of Himachal Pradesh. In my post on the “Total Lunar Eclipse of 8 November 2022” i had forecasted a severe cold wave and record breaking snow fall in America (USA). That prediction is now coming out correct as news reports are coming that about 60% of US population have faced some sort of winter weather advisory.

The Total Lunar Eclipse of 8 November 2022 was visible in the USA. In the eclipse chart Saturn was in Capricorn and Jupiter in Pisces both being the watery sign as per astrology meteorology.
Retrograde Mercury will bring chilling cold wave
On the 31st of December 2022 the retrograde Mercury will come back to Sagittarius from the Capricorn and will join Sun which as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar is a yoga for rainfall for continuous 5 days. Because of this planetary movement there could be unseasonal rainfall in the first week of year 2023 and also very heavy snowfall in Himalayas which will bring extremely cold waves.

At the time of Sun’s entry into Capricorn Moon will be in Virgo getting into mutual aspect with Jupiter which is a good yoga for rainy winter season. Mercury behind Sun also gives rain in the winter season. In Navamsha Sun will get aspect from Jupiter and Venus both so there shall be decent rainfall in second fortnight of January 2023 which will be good for the winter crops like wheat, radish, green peas, carrot etc.
Jupiter ahead of Venus in transit
Saturn and Venus will be in conjunction during the month of February 2023 in Aquarius sign. Venus is watery planet while Saturn is windy in nature. Jupiter will be ahead of Venus in Pisces sign in the last week of January and first fortnight of February 2023. In the Chapter number 9 ‘Shukar-Chaar-Adhyay’ in Brihat Samhita the Sloka number 42 gives results of Jupiter’s transit in the next sign from Venus. As per this Sloka it will give rise in the prices of white good i.e. milk products, trouble to Bhramin’s, cow husbandry and temples. It also gives trouble in the east direction. There are chances of very heavy hailstorm and people suffer from disease related with throat infections.
In the first fortnight of February 2023 there will be lots of incidents of hailstorms and people suffering from throat infection’s due to Jupiter’s movement ahead of Venus. The hailstorms will affect North and Western Parts of the country. In the last week of February and first week of March there will be unseasonal rainfall in North India and also in South-India due to Jupiter and Venus conjunction in Pisces.
Overall, the winter season in 2022-23 will be good for crops but it will give trouble to cattle farmers due to the spread of lumpy skin disease virus. In Europe and USA there will be good snowfalls which will give a chilling winter season.
