On the June 12th this year when 74-year-old Telugu Desam Party leader Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of the coastal state of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time, he had created a new history. Chandrababu Naidu, who has been the longest-serving Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, now has an important stake in the politics of the state as well as the Centre. Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of the state at Gangavaram on the border of Vijayawada city of Andhra Pradesh at 11:27 am when Leo ascendant was rising. In the assembly elections for 175 seats in the state, Chandrababu Naidu’s party Telugu Desam defeated his opponent Jaganmohan Reddy badly by winning 135 seats. In the Lok Sabha elections too, Chandrababu Naidu has secured a share in the power of the Centre by capturing 16 out of 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh. His oath-taking horoscope of Leo ascendant confirms his high political stature at present. Now that Hyderabad has become the capital of Telangana after the completion of the 5-year period, Andhra Pradesh has to make a new capital for itself. The previous Chief Minister of the state Jaganmohan Reddy could not do this work in five years, but Chandrababu Naidu has announced to make Amaravati the new capital of the state.

On the 22nd of October 2015 when Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh performed the foundation stone laying of state’s new capital Amaravati he chooses a bad Muhurata. It was Thursday, Shukla Dashmi, Shravana Nakshatra, Shoola Yoga and Taitilya Karana then. In the Muhurata chart of Amaravati foundation the Moon Maha Dasha was ending on the 15th of February 2016. The Mars Maha Dasha was about to come which was falling in the 8th house in both Rashi and Navamsha of Muhurata chart showing big heralds. In the Rashi chart 8th lord the Sun is in the 10th house and the 10th lord Venus is in the 8th house is also bad. In Navamsha 10th lord Jupiter is in the 8th house. It was no surprise that Chandrababu Naidu didn’t get sufficient funds from the center to make his dream project Amaravati then. In year 2018 he also broke away from the NDA led by BJP and in subsequent year in 2019 he lost assembly election. The next chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy presented a different plan for making 3 capital cities; Vishakapatanm as an executive capital, Amaravati as legislative capital and Kurnool as judicial capital. Thus mega plant to build Amaravati as world class capital city was put on halt.
Now Rahu Maha Dasha has started in the foundation horoscope of Amaravati from February 2023. Rahu Dasha and Rahu Bhukti will be till 28 October 2025. But it will not be possible to develop huge infrastructure like 360 KM trunk road, MAL Bungalows, houses for ministers and officers, high court building etc. with this fund only. After October 2025 in Rahu Dasha and Jupiter Bhukti the development work for Amaravati will again get into some trouble due to lack of funds.
The city of Amaravati will get completed after March 2028 only in Rahu Dasha and Saturn Bhukti. Saturn as the lagna lord is in the 11th house of gains. The transiting Saturn would then be in Aries at the 4th house from lagna and the Moon in chart 2 of the Amaravati foundation. Thus the favorable Bhukti of Saturn will make possible the development of Amaravati as Andhra Pradesh capital before next assembly elections in May-June 2029.
Year 2025 will be challenging for Chandrababu Naidu
In Chandrababu Naidu’s Leo ascendant oath taking horoscope (chart 1) , the lagan lord the Sun, tenth lord Venus, 2nd and 11th lord Mercury and fifth lord Jupiter sitting in the tenth house of power are creating a big Rajyoga and Dhanyoga. In the foundation horoscope of Andhra Pradesh (chart 4) Cancer ascendant is rising. The transiting Saturn was in Aquarius over the exact degrees of the 10th lord Mars. The transiting Jupiter was in Aries on the 10th house. This double transit of Saturn-Jupiter together influencing the 10th house has brought the change in the government in state during assembly elections which i failed to foresee then. Now Mercury Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha is ending in December 2024.
In Mercury Dasha and the Sun Anter Dasha (7 December 2024 to 13th of October 2025) and later in Mercury Dasha and the Moon Anter Dasha (13 October 2025 to 14 March 2027) there will be good development in the state. Both the Sun and the Moon are strongly placed in the foundation horoscope of Andhra Pradesh state. The Moon is particularly strong in both Rashi and Navamsha chart. So, the Moon is particularly strong in both Rashi and Navamsha. Thus in the Anter Dasha of the Moon from October 2025 to March 2027 the major development in Andhra Pradesh and mostly in its capital Amaravati will take place at rapid speed.
