Captain Amrinder Singh took oath of the chief minister of Punjab for the second time in his political career recently in the third week of March. In the first month in office his government tried to fulfill two promises- one by removing the red beacons from the official vehicles and other by initiating a crackdown on the drug mafia in the state. However, the initial days of this Congress government in Punjab were full of controversies as indicated by the oath taking chart of Captain Amrinder Singh. Famous cricketer turn politician Navajot Singh Sindu,  the minister in new Punjab Government,  refused to leave a television shows and some of the MLA’s were also being accused of having altercation with the senior government officials.
