I have been warning about a possible India-Pakistan conflict over the Kashmir issue since last one and half years in my writings. The conjunction of Saturn-Mars in Scorpio in 2016 and the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn in 2020 are two dangerous astrological combinations which can bring wars in south-east Asia and around the world.
The effects of these two planetary phenomena’s are going to remain for a long duration and it will have a significant impact on the international affairs. I will explain it in more detail by taking up the charts of both India and Pakistan. But first see the time line of events leading to the current tension between these two arch rivals of south-Asia.
India-Pakistan border skirmishes ( 2014-present)
Narendra Modi after winning a historic general election in May 2014 had invited the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to attend his swearing-in-ceremony. Nawaz Sharif ignoring the advise of Pakistani Army went on to have a meeting with his Indian counterpart in New Delhi. This diplomatic gesture of both country heads was praised by the world leaders but at home both of them were criticized by the hardliners.
Later in July Pakistan army broke the ceasefire at the line of control in Kashmir. At home the Pakistan army secretly instigated Imran Khan, an opposition leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf party, to stage a huge protest against Nawaz Sharif ruling government in the month of August which continued till December. The army generals sitting in Rawalpindi had now managed to pin down Nawaz Sharif and confined his political powers to Islamabad only.
By the end of 2014 the Nawaz Sharif had lost his popularity at home and was merely seen as a puppet Prime Minister in the hands of army chief Raheel Sharif . Nawaz Sharif’s bold decision to accept Narendra Modi’s invitation of meeting has also lost its significance by then due to the continues violation of ceasefire by Pakistan army at the Kashmir border.
The aggressive retaliation by the India army in response to the ceasefire violation was shocking for the Islamabad. The Indian army and BSF (border security force) had now been given complete freedom to act against the provocative actions across the LOC. The volume and intensity of India’s return fire across the LOC was much higher than the usual calibrated response that Pakistan expected.
Narendra Modi’s Pakistan Visit
By the mid of 2015 the Pakistani establishment had stared to take part in a secret peace talk with Indian government. The Narendra Modi’s so called surprise visit on the birthday of Nawaz Sharif on 25th of December 2015 was actually said to be planned diplomatically. The national security advisers of the two countries had earlier met at Bangkok few days before to setup this meeting of two leaders.
But the Pakistan army and terrorist organization miffed at this meeting of Nawaz Sharif and Narendra Modi. The expected return gift was send by them on the 2nd of January 2016 when a heavily armed group of terrorists attacked the Pathankot Air Force station in the border state of Punjab in India. This terrorist attack by Pakistani militants received a worldwide condemnation and led to the break-down of India-Pakistan relations.
Kashmir unrest of 2016
A series of violent protest erupted in the month of July-August in the Kashmir valley in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. These public protest were started after the killing of a militant commander Burhan Vani by the Indian security forces on 8th of July 2016. A curfew was imposed by the Indian authorities to pacify the riots. The security forces has to use pellet guns, tear gas, rubber bullets and assault rifles to curb the hooligans. It resulted in the deaths of scores of civilians and thousands were injured.
On the 15th of August 2016 the Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Pakistan for cross border terrorism. In his address to the nation he also raised the issue of Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Baluchistan to put tactical pressure at neighboring country. The statement of Narendra Modi ignited Pakistani leaders and they have now started creating a war hysteria again.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Saturn 18 Year 0 Months and 23 Days
In Vimshottari the current dasha is of Moon-Mars from 9 July 2016 to 7 February 2017. The Moon is the lord of 3rd house showing border tensions with neighbors. Mars as the lord of 7th house is indicating a war coming very soon.
The solar eclipse of 1st of September 2016 will fall at the Leo sign which would be under the exact degree aspect from Saturn then. It is a classical principal of Mundane astrology that at the time of an eclipse if the Sun and/or Moon receive the aspect of a malefic planet then it will bring natural calamities and war. The exact degree aspect or conjunction by malefic planet like Mars and/or Saturn to the Sun and/or Moon at the time of an eclipse is a tested principal of predicting war and earthquakes.
So around the solar eclipse of coming 1st of September there are strong chances of India and Pakistan getting entangled in a territorial war. The China under Saturn-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari is likely to aggressively support Pakistan.
This territorial war between India and Pakistan may become the cause of a bigger conflict in 2020 when Saturn-Jupiter would be transiting from Capricorn. The transiting Rahu-Ketu then would have been covering the Taurus-Scorpio signs which is very crucial for both India and Pakistan. It has been observed that the affliction to the Capricorn-Cancer and Taurus-Scorpio axis bring wars and earthquakes in the sub-continent.
In the foundation chart of India the Capricorn is the 7th house from its natal Moon in Cancer. The Capricorn sign gets only 20 points in the Sarvashataka Varga which make it a weak rashi. So the major planets like Saturn, Jupiter and Mars transiting from the Capricorn sign gives trouble to India. This combination has had given war in 1962 with China and it will again give a devastating war in 2020. But before this in 2016 there will be territorial wars that India will have to face risking a danger to its economy which is going upward with the GDP growth rate of more than 7 percent at present.
Foundation Chart of Pakistan
In the horoscope of Pakistan an enigmatic Vimshottari dasha of Rahu-Venus is running at present. Venus is the lord of 7th house signifying wars. The maha dasha of Venus was stared in December 2007 since then Pakistan has witness brutal terrorist attacks at its soil. The country’s reputation has sunk very low. There has been no international events of hockey and cricket in the country ever since Pakistan has entered into this Venus dasha.
Horoscope of Pakistan

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Rahu 1 years 4 months 8 days
Now in Venus-Rahu ( 21 February 2015 to 20 February 2018) the country is at the risk of another disintegration. In year 1971, during the Saturn-Venus dasha in Vimshottari, the country lost East Pakistan after war with India. The Indian army with the help of ‘Mukti Bahini’ created an independent state of Bangladesh by driving out Punjabi-Pukthoon army of West Pakistan who were earlier indulge into atrocities on Bengalis there.
Now it is the enigmatic dasha of Venus-Rahu is in operation and Pakistan is at the risk of loosing Baluchistan and Aazad Kashmir (or Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as India claims). The Rahu in the 2nd house is at ‘Maraka’ position but it also shows heavy influx of foreign funding during its sub-period. In case of war with India the Pakistan is assured in getting the strategic support from Muslim countries (Rahu) and China.
The current transit of Saturn and Mars over the 8th house Scorpio in the chart of Pakistan is indicating the fall of government. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif will be at the risk of loosing his chair after a humiliation in territorial war with India during 2016. These events will set the stage for a dangerous India-Pakistan war in 2020 when transiting Saturn and Jupiter will be in conjunction in ‘Makar’ Rashi. China will also support Pakistan in its war against India. There will be lots of destruction in this devastating war in the sub-continent in year 2020.
