Sachin Tendulkar is a name which needs no introduction. He was widely regarded as the best batsman in the world during his cricketing career spanning nearly two decades and for his fan all over the world, especially in India, he was like ‘God of Cricket’. The cricket experts rated him one of the best batsman ever played this game. The legends of the game like Sir Donald Bradman , Sir Garry Sobers and Sir Vivian Richards praised his skills and technique with open heart.
In year 2013 on the birth day of Sachin Tendulkar the DNA news paper of Mumbai published an article giving the hospitals records of Sachin Tendulkar.

As per this article “Sachin Tendulkar : the multi-million dollar baby” written by Derek Abraham the “ Dr Shraddhanand Thakur oversaw the birth of a “healthy baby boy” at 1 pm exactly 40 years ago. The retired gynaecologist is 85 now, but he clearly remembers the day he laid his hands on Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar”.
As per the birth certificate of Sachin Tendulkar in circulation on the internet he was born on 24-April-1973. I have rectified his birth time from 13:00 hours to 12:54 hours, making a correction of just 6 minutes, to get Scorpio Navamsha along with Caner the rising sign in Rashi chart based on his known life events. The place of birth is Mumbai. Born in the Cancer lagna, which is under the aspect of the ninth lord Jupiter and fifth lord, which is also the tenth lord , Mars the Yogkarka for this ascendant, the chart have great Raj Yoga’s in it.
Sequence of Vimshottari Dasha: Balance of Venus dasha 3 Years 2 months and 5 days
Sun– June 1976 to June 1982, Moon– June 1982 to June 1992, Mars– June 1992 to June 1999, Rahu– June 1999 to June 1917, Jupiter– June 1917 to June 1933.
The debilitation of Jupiter has got good cancelled by the conjunction of an exalted Mars with it. It is a classical example of a good ‘Neecha-Bhanga’. Also there is a great Parashari Yoga made by the aspect of a debilitated planet on the ascendant. Which is a great Parashara exception for the debilitated planets as when they aspect the lagna and the lord of lagna is strong it becomes a ‘Raj Yoga’.
Mercury is another debilitated planet in his chart but its debilitation also gets cancelled as its depositor Jupiter is placed in the Kendra from ascendant. The conjunction of second lord Sun with the eleventh lord Venus in the tenth house is a great ‘Dhana-Yoga’. Noticeable point here is that Sun is ‘digbali’ and is in the sign of its exaltation as well as under the aspect of Yoga Karaka Mars which is the lord of Aries the rashi in which Sun is placed. It is an extraordinary position for Sun which can be rarely found in a horoscope.
Now come to the Jaimini angle and see the 3rd house from Karakamsha is under the by both malefic and benefic planets made him brave and valorous. The Atamakaraka Mars is in the Navamsha of Virgo so the Karakamsha lagna becomes the Virgo sign. The aspect of Mercury on the Karakamsha lagna and tenth from it is a great Jaimini Yoga for fame. The conjunction of Atamakaraka Mars, which is also the fifth lord, along with the Putrakaraka Jupiter is a good Jaimini Raj Yoga.
In the year 1982, when he was just 9 year old and was going through dasha chiddra, it was Moon-Moon period in Vimshottari, and Saturn transited through his 3rd house (Virgo) made him involve deeply into the school cricket of Mumbai to shape up his career. At that time nobody was aware that in years to come he will rule the hearts of millions and will be adored all over the world for his cricketing skills. He got his training of Cricket under late Shri Ramakant Achrekar of Mumbai.
Sachin Tendulkar is the second youngest debutant in the world and second youngest to score a century in 1990.In the year 1989 when he was just 16, Saturn transited through his 6 house (Sagittarius) and thus gave its aspect to the 3rd house brought him in to limelight. Than came the dasha of Mars from June 1992 to June 1999 in Vimshottari, which made him the biggest superstar of all time. See how excellently Mars is placed in Navamsha and Dashamsha charts. He also got married with Anjali on 19-May-1995 at the age of just 22. It was Mars-Saturn (November 1994 to December 1995) period in Vimshottari. Mars is fifth lord placed in seventh house and Saturn is the lord of seventh house itself. It was a love marriage and also notices the role of debilitated sixth lord Jupiter here in the seventh house of Sachin Tendulkar. His wife is a doctor by profession and she is five year older than him. In Navamsha chart the fifth lord Jupiter is in the seventh house showing his love marriage and wife’s dignified profession.
Now during the dasha of Mars, which is the fifth lord in Rashi chart and giving its aspect to the fifth house of Saptamsha and is also the lord of Saptamsha lagna, he was blessed with a child. His daughter Sara born on 12-Ocrober-1997 (Mars-Venus) and son Arjun was born on 24-September-1999 (Rahu-Rahu). The depositor of Rahu is Jupiter, the natural Karaka of child birth, which is conjoined with fifth lord Mars in the Rashi chart. In Saptamsha the depositor of Rahu is Jupiter which is giving aspect to the lagna of Saptamsha.
His father, late Shri Ramesh Tendulkar was a professor of Marathi literature in the University of Mumbai. He passed away on 19th May, 1999 due to cardiac arrest. Sachin Tendulkar was born of the second wife of Shri Ramesh Tendulkar is astrologically explainable from the debilitated ninth lord in rashi chart. When his father passed away Sachin Tendulkar was going through Mars-Moon dasha chiddra in Vimshottari. Mars is the tenth lord in rashi chart. The tenth house being 2nd from the ninth is a Maraka for father. Moon is the ninth lord in Navamsha chart. In Dwadashamsha, which is seen for parents, the Mars is under the aspect of second lord Saturn and Moon the sub period lord is the lord of seventh house. The second and seventh houses of Dwadashamsha are ‘Marak’ houses for parents.
In next maha dasha of Rahu Sachin Tendulkar continued to dominate the cricketing world though with growing maturity his style of batting was changed considerably. Throughout his life in the goldfish bowl, Tendulkar has assiduously avoided controversy. But in year 2001, he came into news for bad reasons when a match referee accused him of ball tampering. It was the Rahu-Rahu period in Vimshottari. Rahu in the sixth house of disputes again put him into a trouble this time in an import duty related controversy of a Ferrari car in his Rahu-Jupiter period in year 2002-03. This Ferrari was presented to Sachin Tendulkar by F1 Champion Michael Schumacher in 2002 when he equaled Sir Don Bradman’s the record of 29 test centuries. The car, most discussed due to its association with Schumacher, Sachin and due to import duty related controversies.
In year 2006 he was struggling with back injury and there were speculations that he might have to cut short his career due to this trouble. It was Rahu-Saturn (July 2004 to June 2007) period in Vimshottari. See here that Rahu and Saturn are both are in 6/8 position from each other in rashi chart which is bad. Moreover Saturn is the eighth lord here giving aspect to the lagna showing obstacles in his dasha bhukti. But since the depositor of both Rahu and Saturn are in good yoga’s there so it allows him to make a brilliant come back. Noticeable point here is that in Dashamsha the Saturn is the lord of sixth and seventh houses which is not so good for career.
In Vimshottari dasha of Rahu-Ketu, Tendulkar was conferred with the Indian Air Force’s honorary rank of Group Captain in September 2010 to honor his cricketing achievements and contributions to the nation. Then came the dasha of Rahu-Venus (January 2011 to January 2014) in Vimshottari. The dashas of Rahu-Venus or Venus-Rahu in Vimshottari are well known to bring transformations in life. Sachin Tendulkar’s biggest dream was fulfilled when India won the world cup in April 2011. Venus is the eleventh lord of achievements in the Rashi chart and in Dashamsha it is the tenth lord well placed in the lagna. Lots of people were expecting than that he may announce his retirement from cricket as there was left nothing for him to achieve now in the cricketing world. But Sachin dragged himself for the sake of more records and the sponsorship money coming underway. In year 2011 he also took a loan for buying 450 sq ft 1BHK in Palvel, Mumbai.
The classical yoga for acquiring luxury house is applicable here which says Lord of 4th & 10th together with Saturn and Mars the person acquires mansions, Dasha was Rahu -Venus ,where Venus the lord of 4th house aspecting the own house and the lord of 10th house Mars is aspecting the 4th house from the seventh house. In Chathurthamsha Venus is the tenth lord giving aspect to the lagan. The placement of Venus in Chathurthamsha is with the twelfth lord Jupiter is also showing the change of residence.
Being going through the transformational dasha of Rahu-Venus in his life, he was nominated for Rajya Sabha besides being active sports person. Schin Tendulkar’s wax statue was unveiled at the Sydney Cricket Ground just a few days before his 40th birthday in the same dasha. Sachin Tendulkar shifted in to his new house in Mumbai’s posh Bandra locality on September 28 2011. Sachin Tendulkar’s garage is full with cars as his record books are full with runs. This cricketing leaving legend presently owns 40 cars, which he parks at different places where he owns properties. The fleet includes a BMW, a Porsche Boxster and a Mercedes C-36.
On 10 October 2013, Sachin Tendulkar announced that he would retire from all cricket after the two Test Series against the West Indies in November. It was Rahu-Venus-Mercury ( 10 June 2013 to 13 November 2013) running in Vimshottari dasha at that time. The dasha periods of Rahu-Venus or Venus-Rahu are know to bring transformations in the life of a native. Here in case of Sachin Tendulkar Venus was the twelfth lord of retirement in his Navamsha and, in the Dashamsha charts Venus is with the twelfth lord Moon. But since Venus was also the lord of eleventh house (achievements) in Rashi chart, placed well in the tenth house, so it has to give him a dignified and much honored retirement from his profession. The Indian Government announced to give him highest civilian award of the country ‘Bharat Ratna’ in November 2013. Sachin Tendulkar retired from all forms of the game on 16 November 2013 after playing his 200th and final Test match. It was Rahu-Venus-Ketu at that time in Vimshottari. Ketu is placed in the twelfth house of retirement.
