Dasha Chiddra of KCR and Telangana Assembly Elections 2023

In Hindu Astrology the term ‘Dasha Chiddra’ is referred to when Vimshottari Dasha changes i.e. when a Maha Dasha ends and another one is about to begin. As per my teacher Shri K.N. Rao “The Maha Dasha represent a major change, from one set of circumstances while the Anter Dasha within a Maha Dasha shows changes within the pattern set by Maha Dasha . Generally, the change of a Maha Dasha and the beginning of another is a landmark remember as Dasha Chiddra which can be good or bad depending upon the various factors”. In the horoscope of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, popularly referred to by his initials KCR, the period of Dasha Chiddra would be running at the time when assembly elections in his state would take place in December this year.

Before we study the horoscope of KCR let’s study the chart of his party to understand a little about his political journey.

Chart 1. Horoscope of TRS Party Formation

Born April 27, 2001 at 11h. 35m. at 78 E 28, 17 N 22 with a balance of 4 years 5 months 3 days of Mars Dasha at birth.

KCR had formed Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on 27 April 2001, after resigning from the post of deputy speaker and also from the TDP (Telugu Desam Party). He asserted that people of Telangana were discriminated, and a separate state is the only solution. After independence of India the State Reorganization Committee, set up by then Prime Minister Nehru had advised the creation of ‘Vishal Andhra’ after the merger of Telugu speaking Telangana region of the Hyderabad State with the Andhra State. But within few decades of this unification the people of Telangana started complaining about discrimination on various grounds.

Interestingly there is a mention of ‘Telang’ (now Telangana) and ‘Andhra’ regions in the 5^th century classical texts of Mundane Astrology Brihat Samhita’s ‘Nakshatra koorma Adhyay’ . Now see the horoscope of TRS Party which is of an emotional sign Cancer rising getting the aspect of Mars from the 6^th house of strife and violence and also Saturn, a Maraka (Killer), from the 11^th house of gains. As per the Telangana CM KCR more than 1500 were died during movement for a separate state in former Andhra Pradesh. In the horoscope of TRS the Sun, royal planet, is exalted at the 10^th house of ‘Rajya Sathan’. There is a beautiful exchange of houses between 9^th lord Jupiter and 11^th lord Venus. So, this party formed in such a strong ‘Muhurata’ has to get success in its endeavor.

Telangana was formed on 2 June 2014, when the Maha Dasha of Rahu and Anter Dasha of Mercury was running in the horoscope of TRS. Rahu is in the 12^th house but it gets the aspect of Yogakaraka Mars which is the lord of 5^th and 10^th houses. The Anter Dasha lord Mercury is in the 10^th house of Rasi chart and in Navamsha it is in own sign Virgo strongly placed in 2^nd house along with benefic Moon and Venus.

Interestingly KCR announce the change of name of his TRS party when Dasha of Rahu and Anter Dasha of Mars was running in the horoscope of TRS. It was the time of ‘Dasha Chiddra’ as Rahu Dasha was ending in the chart of TRS with its last Anter Dasha of Mars operating. A new party BRS (Bhart Rashtra Samiti) came into existence on 5 October 2022.

Chart 2. Horoscope of BRS Party Formation

Born October 5, 2022 at 13h. 19m. at 78 E 28, 17 N 22 with a balance of 3 years 6 months 14 days of Moon Dasha at birth.

The KCR announced the name of his new national party BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samiti) on the day of Vijay Dashmi on 5^th of October 2022 at 13 hours and 09 minutes {Refer link https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/telangana/kcr-to-launch-national-party-on-Dasha ra/article65963690.ece}

The party retained its pink color and election symbol of ‘car’ but only changed its name to give it a national identity. It is well known that KCR is a staunch believer in astrology and with the ‘Muhurata’ chart of his new party we can access that it has been calculated on sound astrological rules. The horoscope of BRS (chart 2) has Sagittarius rising at the ascendant which is the 9^th house of its leader KCR’s birth chart. The day was Wednesday and it was Shukla Dashmi tithi (10^th lunar day of bright half) at the time of Sun rise. The conjunction of 9^th lord Sun with 10^th lord Mercury at the 10^th house of power is the best possible Parashari Raja Yoga for Sagittarius lagna. The involvement of 6^th and 11^th lord Venus and its mutual aspect with lagna and 4^th lord Jupiter is an excellent ‘Dhana Yoga’ which shows that party is rich with resources it has amassed while remaining in power.

At the time of Telangana assembly polls, the Vimshottari Dasha of Moon and Anter Dasha of Ketu would be running from July 2023 to February 2024 in the horoscope of BRS. Moon is in the 2^nd house along with 2^nd lord Saturn. The Anter Dasha lord Ketu is in the 11^th house of gains from the ascendant and from the Dasha lord Moon it is in the 10^th house of power. In Navamsha Moon is in the 8^th house with 10^th lord Sun showing surprise gains. Ketu is in the 5^th house in mutual aspect with lagan lord Mars and 5^th lord Jupiter in Navamsha showing the continuity of ‘Raja Yoga’ for BRS party. So BRS is likely to retain power after winning the Telangana assembly elections in 2023. Next year during General Elections in 2024 this party will perform very well in Telangana region as Moon Maha Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha in her chart indicate it.

Chart 3. Horoscope of KCR (K. Chandrashaker Rao)

Born February 17, 1954 at 10h. 30m. at 78 E 51, 18 N 06 with a balance of 2 years 6 months 19 days of Mercury Dasha at birth.

In the horoscope of KCR the 8^th lord Mars is in own house. It has been observed when the lord of 8^th house is in own house and is not involve in any bad yoga by malefic association then it gives native a charismatic personality and surprise gains in his career. But such 8^th lord should also be favorable in his Navamsha chart. In the birth chart of Michel Jorden (Gemini lagna), Amitabh Bacchan (Aquarius lagna) and Queen Elizabeth II (Sagittarius lagna) the lord of 8^th house is in own house and is involve in good yoga’s. KCR has served on important positions during his Mars Dasha (September 1999 to September 2006) and in Rahu Dasha he became chief minister in 2014. Rahu is Vargottama in the 10^th house a Kendra Bhava and is getting the aspect of 9^th lord (Trikona Adhipati) Jupiter which is a good Raja Yoga as per Sage Parashara. Apart from this Rahu is Vargottama and is also getting favorable aspect of Moon the lord of 4^th house.

In Rahu Maha Dasha and Saturn Anter Dasha KCR has become the chief minister of Telangana at 12 h. 57 m. on 2 June 2014. Saturn is exalted in the 7^th house and is making a ‘Sasa Maha Purush Yoga’.

Dasha Chiddra of KCR

At the time of Telangana assembly polls in December this year KCR would be under his Dasha Chiddra as the last Anter Dasha in the Maha Dasha of Rahu would be running at that time. The Rahu Dasha and Mars Anter Dasha would run from August 2023 to September 2024. The next Maha Dasha is of Jupiter which is favorably placed in the 2^nd house of birth chart and is exalted in Navamsha . As per Shri K.N. Rao in the case of Dasha Chiddra we need to see the placement of next Maha Dasha lord also as the results of Dasha Chiddra period depends upon the status of upcoming Maha Dasha lord in the horoscope to some extent. So Rahu Dasha and Mars Anter Dasha will surely give favorable results to KCR who is likely to get reelected easily for third consecutive term as the chief minister and in next years general elections he will also play an important role in national politics.

Jaimini Angle

In the horoscope of KCR Amatayakaraka Jupiter is in fixed sign Taurus which is getting the Jaimini aspects of Atamakaraka Moon placed in a movable sign Cancer making a good Raja Yoga. Aquarius Chara Dasha and Taurus Anter Dasha would be running at the time of assembly polls which is going to be favorable since the Anter Dasha Rasi Taurus has the influence of a Raja Yoga of Amatayakaraka and Atamakaraka explained above. So, from Jaimini Chara Dasha we can also reconfirm the possible reelection of KCR as the chief minister.

Chart 4. Horoscope of KTR (K.T. Rama Rao)

Born July 24, 1975 at 05h. 01m. at 78 E 51, 18 N 06 with a balance of 5 years 10months 10 days of Mercury Dasha at birth.

The chart 4. Given above is of the K.T. Rama Rao, popularly known by his initials KTR, who is the son of chief minister KCR. In the horoscope of KTR the Gemini sign is rising and the Maha Dasha of 9^th and 8^th lord Saturn is running since June 2022. KTR is working president of BRS party and is also holding important ministerial position in the government. Saturn Dasha in its own Anter Dasha and Pratyanter Dasha of Venus would be running from July 2023 to January 2024. Venus is the lord of 5^th house and is karaka planet for his Gemini lagna chart. Venus is Vargottama and is getting favorable aspect of Jupiter which is the lord of 10^th house. So KTR is likely to retain his minister’s post after helping his party to win another assembly poll.

Chart 5. Horoscope of Telangana Formation

Born June 2, 2014 at 00h. 00m. at 78 E 51, 18 N 06 with a balance of 1 years 2 months 6 days of Jupiter Dasha at birth.

The chart 5 is of the foundation horoscope of Telangana amply explain why this state is one of the fastest growing in the country with average annual growth rate of 13.09% in the last 5 years. In the per capital GDP, it ranked 6^th place among the Indian states. The lagna lord Saturn is exalted in the 9^th house and is in mutual aspect with Yogakaraka Venus which is the best possible Parashari Raja Yoga for Aquarius lagna chart. The 2^nd (state exchequer) and 11^th (income and growth) lord Jupiter is in conjunction with 5^th lord Mercury in the 5^th house is an excellent Dhana Yoga. In Saturn Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha from May 2022 to July 2025 the Telangana is likely to prosper more and her per capita GDP is expected to rise further. The next Anter Dasha ’s of Sun and Moon will also be favorable for the economy of this state. Until the Mars Anter Dasha comes in the Maha Dasha of Saturn, which will be from February 2028 to March 2029, we don’t foresee any major political and economic upheavals in this state. So, the above analysis concludes that KCR is likely to get reelected easily as the chief minister of state for third consecutive term and his stature in the national politics will also rise after good performance of his party in general elections next year.

An Astrological Analysis of the Assembly Elections in Rajasthan 2023

Congress had dominated the politics of the state of Rajasthan in western part of the country for three decades after independence. Congress Chief Minister Mohanlal Sukhadia successfully ran the government in the state for 17 years (1954 to 1971). Later in 1977 first non-congress government came into the state when Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, from Jansangh the predecessor of BJP, become the chief minister and successfully remain in power till 1980. In 1989, when the BJP came to power for the first time in any state, it was Rajasthan, when Bhairon Singh Shekhawat once again became the Chief Minister and for the next 8 years he dominated the politics of the state. Now since last two decades, a direct fight is being seen in Rajasthan assembly elections between the senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje as they have ruled the state alternatively. In year 2018 i had successfully forecast the victory of Congress party in assembly elections in Rajasthan. Now this year BJP’s Vasundhara Raje’s stars appears to be bright and she has the best chance to become the chief minister of the state for third time equaling record with her friendly rival Ashok Gehlot.

Astrological Forecast for Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018- Posted on 27 October 2018

The present Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been the Chief Minister thrice, while Vasundhara Raje has been the Chief Minister for two terms. Vasundhara Raje is trying hard to get the command of the state for the third time in the assembly elections. Along with this, young Congress leader Sachin Pilot will also be in the race for the post of Chief Minister, who in the year 2020 rebelled against his own state government and increased the difficulties of the party.

On July 14th in 2020 when Sachin Pilot was revolting with about 18 MLA’s and had put Ashot Gehlot’s government under danger i had successfully forecast the survival of Congress government in Rajasthan. I had also predicted that Ashok Gehlot will complete his full tenure of 5 years and this prediction of mine had appear in Modern Astrology Magazine and also at the website of Hindi News Paper Navbhart Times for which i contribute regularly.

Sachin Pilot’s Enigmatic Saturn-Venus Dasha and Political Crisis in Rajasthan – Posted on 14 July 2020

Sachin Pilot, the young face of Congress from Rajasthan, was born on September 7, 1977, at 5.28 am in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, with a balance of 0 years 4 months 22 days of Mars Dasha at birth.

Chart 1. Horoscope of Sachin Pilot

The Leo lagna horoscope of Sachin Pilot has a very good Raja Yoga of 9^th and 4^th lord Yogakaraka Mars in conjunction with 5^th lord Jupiter. But Jupiter and Mars are at degree conjunction and their declination is also the same. Thus, it is a case of ‘Graha Yuddha’ or Planetary war as per the Parashari Principals. Apart from the ‘Graha Yuddha’ the conjunction of 12^th lord Moon also makes this Raja Yoga of Mars and Jupiter a little weak. Then all the planets, except the nodes, are in three Rashi only which is a Nabhas Yoga called ‘Shoola Yoga’ considered inauspicious. The fiery sign Leo rising at the ascendant with “Shoola Yoga” makes him highly ambitious.

Raja Yoga in the eleventh house of Pilot’s horoscope make him win Lok Sabha election in 2004 at the age of just 26 years. He became a Lok Sabha MP and soon became a Minister of State in the Manmohan Singh government. In December 2018, during the enigmatic Saturn Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha his party won the assembly elections while he was the state president of Rajasthan Congress, but Saturn-Venus sitting in the twelfth house didn’t gave him the post of Chief Minister.

Saturn Dasha and Moon Anter Dasha from January 2023 to August 2024 is not so favorable at present as these Dasha lords are 2/12 from each other in the birth chart and in Dashamasha they are at 6/8 position which is unfavorable. Saturn as the 6^th and 7^th lord in the 12^th house can produce bad results for Sachin Pilot.

Sachin Pilot will not be able to get more tickets for his supporters for the assembly, due to which his position seems to be weakening in the state. There is no possibility of him becoming the chief minister in Saturn’s Vinshottari Dasha and Moon Anter Dasha which is running at present.

The transiting Saturn from Aquarius gets only 21 points in Sarvashtaka Varga. In Bhinnashtaka Varga of Saturn we get only 1 point in Aquarius sign so the transit is also unhelpful for Sachin Pilot. At the time of assembly elections Saturn Dasha , Moon Anter Dasha and Saturn Pratyanter Dasha from September to December months would be operating which is unfavorable.

Difficult Jaimini Chara Dasha for Pilot

As per the Jaimini system the Chara Dasha of Aquarius and Anter Dasha of Scorpio would be running at the time of assembly elections (8th of May to 7th of December) in Pilot’s horoscope. Amatayakaraka Sun from Leo aspect the 12^th house of Dasha Rashi Aquarius which is not favorable.

A fixed sign aspect the movable sign as per the Jaimini system. Amatayakaraka Sun in Leo also aspect the 12^th house from Anter Dasha Rashi Scorpio which is unfavorable for Pilot and his dream to become the chief minister of the state will be shattered once again.

Chart 2. Horoscope of Ashok Gehlot

Ashok Gehlot’s ‘Paap Kartari’ yoga can become a big obstacle for him in the upcoming assembly elections. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was born on May 3, 1951 at 9.50 am in Jodhpur Rajasthan with a balance of 1 years 3 months 09 days of Saturn Dasha at birth.

In Ashok Gehlot’s Kundli, the auspicious Gaj Kesari Yoga of Guru-Chandra is being formed at the tenth house of position. The strongly placement of Mars, Sun and Mercury in the eleventh house gave him the post of Chief Minister for the third time when he was running under the auspicious Maha Dasha of Mars and Anter Dasha of Sun in December 2018.

In Gemini lagna horoscope of current chief minister Ashok Gehlot the Vimshottari Dasha of Rahu and Anter Dasha of Jupiter is running from April 2022 to September 2024. Rahu is in the 9^th house from his Janma lagna Gemini which is good. But its depositor Saturn is in the 4^th house and is not making any Raja yoga as it is in mutual aspect with 2^nd lord Moon and 7^th lord Jupiter. As per Laghu Parashari Jupiter and Saturn don’t make any Raja Yoga for a Gemini lagna native. It was no surprise that Ashok Gehlot has to face many problems in running the government during his Rahu Dasha which started from August 2019. Although Rahu is not afflicted by any functional malefic in birth chart and in Navamsha it is strongly placed in the 4th house so he continued with power despite facing major rebellion by Sachin Pilot in July 2020 when a difficult Rahu-Rahu-Saturn period was running in Vimshottari.

Presently he is under the Maha Dasha of Rahu sitting in the ninth house and Antar Dasha of the Jupiter sitting in the tenth house . But the noticeable point here is that his Jupiter is trapped in an inauspicious ‘Paap Kartari’ yoga as it is being surrounded by malefic planets from both the sides. So the auspicious effects of Jupiter’s Gaja Kesari Yoga due to its conjunction with Moon will get reduce. He will feel constrained due to the lack of support from local leaders and this would adversely affect his election campaign.

In Dashamasha Jupiter is in the 4^th house but get the aspects of malefic Mars and Saturn both. Rahu Dasha , Jupiter Anter Dasha and Venus Pratyanter Dasha at the time of assembly polls is not likely to be favorable for Gehlot as his Pratyanter Dasha lord Venus is in the 12^th house of birth chart and in Navamsha it goes into the 8^th house.

Unfavorable Transit and Weak Jaimini Chara Dasha of Ashok Gehlot

Rahu in transit will move out of Aries and start affecting his natal Jupiter in Pisces just a few days before the elections which as per a Bhrigu rule is not a favorable condition.

In the birth chart of Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot Jaimini Chara Dasha of Virgo started from May 2021. Virgo is the Rashi of his Karakamsha lagna as his Atamakaraka Venus goes into this Rashi in his Navamsha chart. The 8^th house from Virgo has Amatayakaraka Mars, Ganatikaraka Mercury and Bhatrikaraka Sun which is not good as these planets are in movable sign and aspect the 12^th house from Dasha Rashi Virgo. Now at the time of elections Dasha of Virgo and Anter Dasha of Aries would be running in the Chara Dasha scheme which is a Dasha of 6/8 from each other. This unfavorable Dasha in Jaimini can give him loss of position.

Inauspicious Varsha Kundali of Ashok Gehlot

In the annual horoscope for completed year 72 for Ashok Gehlot ‘Muntha’ or progressed lagna is in Gemini which is his Janma lagna. But Muntha here is in the 8^th house from the rising sign Scorpio which is an adverse position as per Tajik Neelkanthi. Interestingly Scorpio is the 6^th house of his Janma lagna Gemini. So, the rising sign in Varshaphala and the position of Muntha both are unfavorable for Ashok Gehlot. In the Varshaphala or annual horoscope the bad exchange between the 6^th lord Mars and 8^th lord Mercury shows loss of position because of an intrigue against him. So, Ashok Gehlot is likely to face a defeat in a closely fought assembly elections because of an intrigue in his own party most likely by Sachin Pilot who has been creating troubles for him since years now.

Chart 3. Horoscope of Vasundhara Raje

Vasundhara Raje’s was born on March 8, 1953 at 4.45 pm in Mumbai, Maharashtra, with a balance of 11 years 9 months 17 days of Mercury Dasha at birth.

Vasundhara Raje belongs to the famous Scindia royal family of Gwalior. In her kundli of Cancer Ascendant, the lord of the 7th house of ‘Pada Prapati’ and fame is Saturn which is exalted in Libra and and is placed in the 4t house of ‘Simhasan’ or throne. Saturn is in the 4th house is in mutual aspect with Jupiter which is the lord of 9th house of luck and Venus the lord of 4th house is involve in a strong Raj Yoga. Along with this, in her horoscope, there is a beautiful ‘Parivartan Raja Yoga’ of 9th house lord Jupiter in the 10th house and the 10th house lord Mars is in the 9th house. This ‘Dharma-Karma Adhipati’ yoga is the most auspicous Raj Yoga, which made her the Chief Minister of the state twice and is now making her a strong contender for this post for the third time as well.

After the election defeat in 2018 she was out of consideration by the senior BJP leadership during her Rahu Dasha and Saturn Anter Dasha from January 2020 to December 2022. As per the news reports after the defeat in Karnataka assembly polls this year BJP’s senior leadership had again started giving her importance in the matter of running the election strategy in the state. Several senior leaders in Rajasthan BJP like Satish Poonia, Gulab Chand Kataria, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat were jostling with each other to become the CM face for the saffron party in the state.

Favorable ‘Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga of Mercury’

Although her party BJP announced to contest this assembly election on the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but the Vinshottari Dasha of Mercury and Anter Dasha of Rahu running in Vasundhara Raje’s Cancer Ascendant horoscope is giving her astrological assurance of victory in all adverse situations. Mercury being the lord of the third and 12th house in her Cancer Ascendant is a functional malefic planet. But, being debilitated, Mercury is sitting in the ninth house of fortune and is conjunct with Mars, the lord of the tenth house. Due to this favorable position Mercury is getting a magnificent ‘Neech Bhang Raja Yoga’ which can make Vasundhara Raje the ‘Queen’ of Rajasthan’ for the third time.

At the time of assembly elections Rahu Dasha , Mercury Anter Dasha and Sun Pratyanter Dasha would be running from 13 November to 29^thDecember this year. The Pratyanter Dasha lord Sun is badly placed in the 8^th house so her political powers will get constrain even after winning the elections as central leadership of party may appoint two deputy chief minister’s under her to pacify the power struggle in the state unit.

In transit Saturn is getting 29 points in Sarvashtaka Varga which is good. But Saturn transiting in the 4^th house from her natal Moon and 8^th house form the lagna is unfavorable. In Bhinnashtaka Varga of Saturn we get 6 points which are very favorable. The transiting Rahu will move out of Aries which is her 10^th house and over her natal Jupiter just a few days before the elections which would be favorable for her. The transit of Rahu over natal Jupiter is unfavorable generally. So when Rahu moves away from her natal Jupiter then she will be some favorable results during election campaign.

Favorable Annual horoscope for Vasundhara Raje

In the annual horoscope for completed year 70 Cancer sign is rising which is the Rashi of her Janma lagna. When Rashi of Janma lagan rise in the annual horoscope (Varshaphala) then that year is called ‘Dwi-Janma Lagna’ and is regarded very crucial for the native. In case of Vasundhara Raje the ‘Muntha’ or progressed lagna is Taurus which is the 11^th house of her birth chart. In the Varshaphala I am using Parashari aspects as per the method of my teacher Shri K.N. Rao. As per this technique in the Varshaphala of Vasundhara Raje the aspect of 9^th lord Jupiter on the Janma lagan from the 9^th house is very favorable. The 10^th lord Mars is in the 11^th house of gains along with Muntha is also good. Then there are very good mutual aspects between benefic planets Moon, Venus and Jupiter in her annual horoscope. She is likely to achieve a good success in the upcoming assembly polls and will become the chief minister of Rajasthan.

Planets and Manipur State Crisis

In the first week of May violent incident erupted in Manipur state after a High Court directive to the state government over the issue of Meitei community demand for Schedule Tribe reservation. Before this the state government had started an evacuation drive for illegal immigrants in the month of February which was also opposed by Kuki tribal community living in hilly areas of the state. In the unfortunate violent incident started in May month about 100 people were died , more than 300 got injured and more than 50000 were displaced. There is a situation of distress and tension between the Meitei community living in the valley area and Kuki population inhabited in the hilly locations of the Manipur state. Meitei people represent around 53% of population of the state followed by Naga 24% and Kuki 16%. The incumbent Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has been in power since March 2017. Earlier Okram Ibobi Singh from Congress had ruled the state from 2002 March to 2017 March when his party lost election.

Manipur Crisis Explained

The foundation horoscope of Manipur is set for 21 January 1972 when Manipur become a state from union territory earlier.

The article was received by the editor on 30th of January which was about three and half months before voting took place. Later at this blog and also on the Navbharat Times dot com Hindi New Portal website the same prediction of Congress Party’s victory in Karnataka assembly polls was published. Since we don’t have the birth details of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah so in this post we will make a study of his oath taking chart only to see the future prospects of his state government. Siddaramaiah has taken oath of his office when ‘Siddha’ Yoga was operating on Saturday.
