The general elections in India are due in April-May this year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the tone for the upcoming elections in the first week of February itself when in his speech at the Parliament he asserted that ruling BJP will win more than 370 seats and with its alliances it will cross the 400 mark in 543 members house (Lok Sabha). PM Modi take a jibe on the Congress and said that after the general elections in 2024 the opposition will be seen in the visitors gallery only. Astrologically the foundation horoscope of BJP and the birth chart of Narendra Modi are under strong Dasha-Anter Dasha at present but we don’t see them winning full majority at their own. In transit the conjunction of Mars and Saturn in Aquarius will took place from 16th of March to the end of April this year which will bring some very dramatic events in the country. The BJP will form the next government along with the help of some new alliances in one of the most controversial and volatile general elections 2024 in India.

Before we come to the foundation horoscope of BJP and birth chart of Prime Minister Modi let’s study the prospect for the opposition parties.

A big tent alliance of 28 political parties led by Congress announced its formation name as ‘I.N.D.I.A.’ in a press congress at Bangaluru, Karnataka on the 18th of July 2023 at 16 hours and 20 minutes. The chart 1. is cast for the time of the announce of I.N.D.I. A. alliance which is of Scorpio lagna. This year during the general elections the transiting Saturn would be in Aquarius the sign of religion and welfarism. The ruling BJP government will try to project a ‘happy narrative’ after the inauguration of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya and will invoke the sentiments of the public on the matters of cultural nationalism. The Pisces lagna horoscope of Congress I (chart 3) is set for the time when Indira Gandhi had split the party for the second time to get her own brand of Congress, the harbinger of the political fragmentation after the humiliating loss of 1977 elections. At present Jupiter Dasha and Rahu Anter Dasha is running from 9 October 2022 to 3 March 2025 in the foundation horoscope of Congress I. The Maha Dasha lord Jupiter is placed in its enemy sign Gemini and is in mutual aspect with 6th lord (disputes) the Sun and 8th lord (humiliation) Venus. The Anter Dasha lord Rahu is in Kendra along with trine lord the Moon is making a Raja Yoga. But the Pratyanter Dasha lord Venus as the functional malefic is combust and as the lord of 8^th house shows a set-back. In Navamsha the Anter Dasha lord Rahu is in the 8^th house and Antra lord Venus is afflicted by Saturn is showing another defeat in the elections.

However, the Jaimini Chara Dasha of Virgo-Pisces, having the favorable Jaimini aspect of Amataykaraka the Sun, indicate that the vote share of the party and number of seats will increase from their last performance in general elections held in 2019.

Chart 4. Horoscope of Rahul Gandhi

A Kemadruma Moon in the horoscope of Rahul Gandhi (chart 4 ), which is afflicted by natural malefic planets, gave him the image of a reluctant and immature political leader in his early years of career. As per Jaimini system the ‘Pada lagna’ is Aries (Mesha) which has debilitated Saturn getting Jaimini aspect by Rahu is also unhelpful for his public image. But the Janma lagna and Jupiter in it are both vargottama. Also, there is a Nakshatra exchange between yogakaraka Saturn and the lagna lord Venus which is promising for some progress in his career in future.

During Rahu Dasha and Jupiter Anter Dasha 26 December 2021 to 21 May 2024 Rahul Gandhi has transformed his image after undertaking the Bharat Jodo Yatra in 2022-23 for about 4000 kilometers (K.M.) of distance on foot in a duration of 136 days. Now at the time of general elections it would be Rahu-Jupiter-Rahu from January 2024 to May 2024 in the horoscope of Rahu Gandhi. Rahu is placed in the Aquarius sign at the 5th house which is good but its depositor Saturn is debilitated in the 7th house. Saturn is in the Rashi and Navamsha of Mars which is Maraka for his Tula lagna don’t show any major success.

But during the next Anter Dasha of Saturn from 21 May 2024 to 28 May 2027 his popularity as a mass leader will increase as Saturn is in Nakshtra Parivatan Yoga with Venus which is in the 10^th house of career. So, it is only after the general elections that Rahul Gandhi can get some important role to play as the leader of opposition group in the parliament.

Chart 5. Foundation horoscope of BJP

6 April 1980 at 11h. 45m at New Delhi , at 77 E 13 and 28 N 40 with a balance of 5 years 0 months 12 days of Mercury Dasha at birth.

In the foundation horoscope of ruling BJP the majority of planets are in the Upachaya houses (3,6,10 and 11) which is her biggest strength. A strong ‘Ravi Yoga’ is present in this horoscope. In the book ‘Three Hundred Important Combinations’ by Dr. B.V. Raman the Ravi Yoga is given at page number 95 and 96. This Ravi Yoga is formed when Sun is at the 10^th house and the lord of the 10^th house is in the 3^rd house in conjunction with Saturn. Dr. B.V. Raman mention in the results of this yoga as ‘respected by rulers, well-versed in sciences, becoming famous after the 15^th year…….etc.’ In the foundation horoscope of BJP (chart 5) the 10^th house has the Sun and the 10^th lord Jupiter is in the 3^rd house along with Saturn fulfilling the condition of classical Ravi Yoga. Interesting BJP has come into the power at the center for the first time in 1996 but for just 13 days when Vajpayee had to resign as he failed to prove his majority in the Lok Sabha. But later Vajypayee led BJP coalition government for 13 months from 1998 to 1999 and then a full term till 2004. Thus, BJP got the power at the center after 15 years of her formation which is what in the results of Ravi Yoga has been mentioned.

Kapti Yoga Effects in the horoscope of BJP

Another important yoga in the foundation horoscope of BJP is ‘Kapti Yoga’ due to the placement of strong Mercury in the 9^th house along with malefic Ketu. In Jataka Tattwam ‘Prathama Viveka Adhyay’ Sloka number 58 it is mentioned that a strong Mercury in the 9^th house with a natural malefic planet gives ‘Kapti Yoga’ which make one deceitful. Now the effects of this Kapti Yoga will be felt during the Anter Dasha of Mercury and also of ketu in the Maha Dasha of the Moon. The Dasha of Moon and Anter Dasha of Mercury will be running from 17^th of February 2024 to 18^th of July 2025 in the chart 5 of BJP. The Dasha lord Moon is involve in good ‘Neecha Bhanga Yoga’ ensure the return of BJP in power but the Anter Dasha of Mercury is sensitive for the health of her senior leadership and there will be troubles due to some scandal and unforeseen tragedies. The transit of Saturn from Aquarius over the Anter Dasha lord Mercury is also indicating the same.

Chart 6. . Annual horoscope of BJP completed year 44

The annual horoscope of BJP for completed year 44 has Muntha in the 6^th house of disputes and quarrels along with the Moon, 6^th lord Saturn and 8^th lord Mars. At least two senior leaders of the ruling BJP may suffer serious health issues. In the Virgo lagna annual horoscope the 10^th lord Mercury falls in the 8^th house getting the aspect of 6^th lord Saturn also shows troubles due to controversies and scandals during the operation of this chart i.e. from April 2024 to April 2025. The 10th lord Mercury is in the 8th house in the annual horoscope of BJP which shows a surprise results for the party. The BJP may not be able to get the fully majority at their own, like they did in 2014 and 2019 general election, and they may require to rope in some new alliances to form the government at the center.

In the Scorpio lagna horoscope of Prime Minister Modi (chart 7) the conjunction of 9^th lord the Moon and lagna lord Mars is a good Raja Yoga of Parashari. As per Jaimini Atamakaraka Saturn and Amatayakaraka Venus are making a good Raja Yoga at the 10^th house. Mars Dasha and Saturn Anter Dasha is till 6^th of June 2024 which can get him re-elected as Prime Minister for the third term as Anter Dasha lord Saturn is in mutual aspect with 5^th lord Jupiter. But since Saturn is the functional malefic so he may not get full majority like last two terms and will have to rope in new alliances to form his government at the center. Later the Anter Dasha of Mercury from 5^th of June 2024 to 2^nd June 2025 shows troubles from scandals and ill-health as Mercury being the lord of 8^th and 11^th house is a functional malefic in his chart and it is deep combusted. Solar Ingress of Scorpio (Vrischik Samkranti) 2023- What it foretells ?

According to the Indian Standard time at 01:18 a.m. on 17th of November, Sun has entered Scorpio sign. In the Solar Ingress or Surya Sankranti horoscope formed at the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio, the Leo ascendant is rising and most of the planets are involved with the ninth lord Mars or the 9th house which is Aries. In mundane astrology, the ninth house is especially seen in relation to auspicious and inauspicious events related to the Supreme Court’s Judgements, legal processes, foreign trade and religion related matters. At the time of Surya Sankranti, it is Thursday ruled by Jupiter as per the Hindu weekday system. Due to the day lord Jupiter being in the ninth house and being aspected by Saturn, the planet of justice, there are astrological indications of some major decisions of the Supreme Court making the headlines of the media. Astrological Predictions about Mizoram Assembly Elections 2023

Mizoram will be going for an assembly polls on the 7th of November and results will be declared on the 3rd of December this year along with 4 other state assembly polls. The ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) is likely to face a fierce political battle from the opposition parties Congress and Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM). The horoscope of current chief minister Zoramthanga is not available so we will study the prospects of these assembly polls from the horoscope of the foundation chart of Mizoram only. The long-standing issue of the refugees from Myanmar and the recent ethnic violence in BJP ruled Manipur has increased tensions for the incumbent chief minister Zoramthanga who is part of the BJP led NDA (National Democratic Alliance)/

Mizoram Foundation Horoscope

Born February 20, 1987 at 00 h. 00 m. at Aizawl , at 92 E 43, 23 N 43 with a balance of 4 years 7 months 9 days of Rahu Dasha at birth.

The politics in Mizoram is dominated by mainly two political fronts: Mizo National Front and Congress Party. These two parties have dominated the politics of the state since 1984. The current chief minister Zoramthanga was into power during 1998 to 2008 and then since December 2018 his is running this North-Eastern state. He has won three elections for his party Mizo National Front (MNF) which is facing a triangular context this year as Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) has recently won some local body elections and its leader Lalduhoma (born 22 February 1949) is a challenger to the current chief minister Zoramthanga.

Mizoram was carved out as a union territory from Assam in 1972. Indian parliament adopted 53^rd amendment in the constitution which allowed for the creation of the Mizoram state on 20^th of February 1987. The foundation horoscope of Mizoram is set for the mid night of 19/20^th of February 1987 at Aizawal which is her capital city. The current chief minister Zoramthanga is likely to lose his power and would be replaced by an opposition parties alliance of Zoram People’s movement and Congress Party after the assembly polls results is what the foundation chart of state discussed above indicates.

Rahu Anter Dasha of Arvind Kejriwal and Crisis in Aam Aadmi Party

Central investigating agencies had arrested senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on February 26th this year in connection with the scam in the excise (liquor) policy of the Delhi government. With the arrest of Manish Sisodia, who was the Deputy Chief Minister of the Delhi government, Kejriwal and his party ‘AAP’ had not even recovered then came another big blow when investigating agencies arrested party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on October 4th this month . Earlier, in another case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Satyendra Jain last year on 30th of May 2022 who was then a senior minister in the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. Satyendra Jain has not yet got a bail in that case. These major setbacks for AAP have come when Arvind Kejriwal is running under enigmatic Rahu Anter Dasha in his horoscope.

We do have the birth charts of Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Arvind Kejriwal. In such a situation, it is worth noting here from the astrological point of view that after coming out of the anti-corruption movement, these leaders of AAP are now themselves trapped in corruption cases. But the aspect of Jupiter at the 10th house from his natal Moon is a yoga for getting relief from court cases. Also, if in Bandhan Yoga natural benefic planets aspects the planets which are causing this yoga then also person get freedom from bondage. Here Jupiter, a natural benefic planet, aspect the Saturn in the 3rd house which is involve in Bandha Yoga in this horoscope.

Relief foreseen for Manish Sisodia

Presently, in the birth chart of Manish Sisodia, there is Vimshottari Maha dasha of Rahu Anter Dasha of Mercury Pratyanter Dasha of Rahu is going on from 14 October 2023 to 1 March 2024, which due to the position of Rahu in the house of gains i.e. 11th house, can get him conditional bail from the court soon. The 11th house is the house which gives decree of court and if a strong planet is present in it or native is under the Dasha/ Anter Dasha of strong 11th lord then also he get relief in court matter. So, Manish Sisodia is likely to get his bail order very soon. In year 2025 in Rahu Maha Dasha and Ketu Anter Dasha or in year 2026 in Rahu Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha this case will be quashed, and Manish Sisodia will be acquitted from all charges of corruption due to lack of evidence against him.
