After winning a historic election, Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee took oath as the Chief Minister for the third time in a simple ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata at 11:49 am on Wednesday morning on the 5^th of May 2021. After this major victory against the BJP now many political pundits are speculating  the possibility of Mamata Banejree’s new role as the challenger to Narender Modi in the general elections of 2024. I had forecasted about the victory of Mamata Banerjee’s Trinmoola Congress party on the basis of the foundation chart of this party in my article “Planets and West Bengal Assembly  Elections 2021” published in the May 2021 issue of ‘The Planets & Forecast’  magazine at page number 20. On this blog the predictions about West Bengal assembly elections were given on much earlier on the 28th of February 2021 in my post ‘Deceptive Horoscope of Mamata Banerjee and West Bengal Assembly Elections in 2021’. 

Now let’s analysis the oath taking horoscope of Mamata Banerjee to see the future prospects of her third term in West Bengal.

Chart 1. Oath Taking Horoscope of Mamata Banerjee

In the horoscope formed at the time of taking oath of a politician for a constitutional post, the ascendant house signify  the leader’s cabinet and at the same time it also gives astrological indications about the working style of that leader himself. Mamata Banerjee’s  swearing-in horoscope has Cancer  rising in the ascendant, who’s lord Moon is forming a big Raja Yoga in conjunction with Jupiter in the eighth house, but since it is in a ‘Dusthana’, so it is also an indication of  some major emergency like situation  for her in running the government and managing political affairs in state. There might be an accidental loss of a cabinet member due to an illness or some untoward incident during her tenure. Very shocking decisions in the working style of Mamata Banerjee will force her to face some criticism in the very beginning of her third tenure as the chief minister. Wednesday is auspicious for taking oath but  the date is the ‘Navami’ Tithi  of Krishna Paksha, which is inauspicious for the health of the cabinet leaders and incumbent chief minister.

Nakshatra at the time of oath taking is ‘Shatabhisha’ which is good for ‘swearing-in’ ceremonies and yoga is Bramha which is also auspicious.

Fresh Challenges for Mamata Banerjee in 2022-23

Immediately after the results of assembly elections Mamata Banerjee has been engaged in litigations related to post-poll violence in West Bengal and also a case in which her party has challenged the results of ‘Nandigram’ elections win of BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari. On the 7^th of July a Calcutta High Court Judge has also fined Rs. 5 Lakhs to Mamata Banerjee for ‘ a pre-planned move to malign a judge’s image and violating his constitutional duties’. {Refer link https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/mamata-banerjee-fined-rs-5-lakh-by-calcutta-high-court-judge-justice-kaushik-chanda-who-exits-case-says-preplanned-move-to-malign-judge-2481052} . The Nandigram loss was the sole disappointment for Mamata Banerjee amid the landslide victory in West Bengal Elections in which her party had won 213 seats out of total 294 seats in the assembly. Noticeable point here in the swearing-in horoscope of Mamata Banerjee is the conjunction of 6^th lord (court cases and enemies) and 9^th lord (judiciary) Jupiter with lagna lord Moon in the 8^th house of controversies and humiliation. In Navamsha Jupiter again become the 6^th lord which aspect the 8^th house. In Dashamsha of the oath taking chart Jupiter is 6^th lord again along with 9^th lord Saturn and 12^th lord Mercury in the 9^th house of judiciary.

Mamata Banerjee is going to get some hard time in fighting these legal battles during 2022-23 when transiting Saturn will be in Aquarius right over her natal Moon in the swearing-in horoscope.

BJP will aggressively try to counter Mamata Banerjee 

In the swearing-in horoscopes the 7^th house is the house of opposition parties. Here in this case the major opposition party is BJP which will aggressively try to obstruct Mamata Banerjee’s national ambitions. The 7^th house has Saturn in its own sign getting the aspect of Mars which shows very tense relations between the opposition and ruling government of Mamata Banerjee in the state assembly. An exalted Sun in the 10^th house will give Mamata Banergee a great public image of good administrator and an honest leader. The 11^th lord Venus is in own house in conjunction with 3^rd and 12^th lord Mercury indicate her party getting good support from other likeminded political groups as the 3^rd and 11^th house in the swearing-in charts shows help from supporting parties or groups.

The 10^th lord Mars is in the 12^th house getting aspect of 9^th lord Jupiter is a good Raja Yoga showing increase in public expenditure in welfare schemes of the government. In the Navamsha and Dashamsha the 10^th lord is involved in good Raja Yoga’s. But at the time of Saturn’s transit into Aquarius and Rahu’s movement into Aries there would be some danger of president rule being enforced by the central government in West Bengal or some emergency situation getting developed during the second half of 2022 or in early 2023.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Moon 2 years 11 months 15 days

In the Pisces lagna horoscope of Trinmoola Congress Party the enigmatic Rahu-Venus dasha is running from July 2019 to July 2022. Rahu is in the 6^th house of strife and enemies. Venus as the 8^th and 3^rd lord is in the 11^th house of gains. We all know how the BJP had made efforts to defect many Trinmoola leaders since last two years but many of them failed to perform during the assembly elections recently held. BJP had defected 30 MLA’s from the Trinmoola Congress just before these assembly polls and now many of them are coming back to the Trinmoola party included the senior most leader Mukul Roy. In Navamsha the sub period (Bhukti) lord Venus is exalted and in Dashamsha Venus is strongly placed in the 12^th house getting aspect of Jupiter making Trinmoola Party strong now under its remaining dasha.

In Rahu-Sun dasha (5 July 2022 to 30 May 2023) party may face some trouble due to court cases but it will try to expand for a national role. In Rahu-Moon period (30 May 2023 to 28 November 2024) party will do very well in the general elections in 2024 by winning most of the Lok Sabha (Parliament) seats in the state. Moon is the 5^th lord in the 11^th house of gains along with lagna lord Jupiter and 9^th lord Mars is in a good Raja Yoga.  Party’s leader Mamata Banerjee will play an important role in the formation of a new government at the centre in 2024. So the oath taking horoscope of Mamata Banerjee and her party Trinmoola Congress horoscopes both are giving very promising indications for a ‘national role’ for Mamata Banerjee at the center in year 2024.

The Election Commission of India has announced the full schedule of voting in four state and one union territory assembly polls. The assembly polls will be conducted between 27 March to 29th of April and results will be announced on the 2nd of May 2021. Out of these 5 states the West Bengal elections will be the most fierce and politically very important. For astrologers it would be very difficult to judge the outcome of these assembly elections for many reasons including the non availability of the horoscopes of top leaders of these states and regional parties. Earlier in 2016 i had discussed on my blog why the birth data of Mamata Banerjee is deceptive and should not be trusted at all. Many astrologers would be making predictions on the same basis of the horoscope of Mamata Banerjee cast using  her official birth records, which gives 5 January 1955. Some astrologers are taking Leo and some Sagittarius as her birth ascendant. But when the day and year of birth in the official birth data is wrong then how come we can cast the correct horoscope for her ? As per chief minister Mamata Banerjee ‘She is 5 years younger than her official age’. This fact is published in her biography and was covered by the national media in January 2012. When we google keywords, “Mamata Banerjee younger than her age” we get so many news reports about this matter like the links given below.

Apparently ‘Didi’ was born on October 5, instead of January 5, as the book says that her mother had once given her a horoscope with that date mentioned in it.” When Banerjee once confronted her mother over the mistake in her official date of birth, she had replied, “Darling, we are not city-bred people. Neither you nor your elder brother was born in a hospital. Where would I get a birth certificate detailing your birthday and year?”.

As per my humble understanding astrologers should not cast the horoscope of Mamata Banerjee using her official birth data which is deceptive and fictitious only. 

In West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh is challenger to the Mamata Banerjee for the post of chief minister as Left-Congress alliance is too fragile to give any competition to the incumbent government. The horoscope of BJP chief in West Bengal is given below.

Oath Taking horoscope of Mamata Banerjee

27 May 2016, 12:45 hours at Calcutta 

The above given horoscope is the oath taking chart of Mamata Banerjee when she had become chief minister of West Bengal for her second term. It is very carefully selected Muhurat as in the fixed lagna Leo Jupiter is strongly placed and so is the lagna lord Sun. But the Mars and Saturn conjunction in the 4th house of throne is a disturbing feature. Moon is in the 6th house in Kemadrum Yoga is the biggest weakness of this oath taking chart of Mamata Banerjee. In year 2016 West Bengal Assembly elections Mamata Banerjee’s party had one 211 seat out of 294. While Congress had got 44 seats and left parties could manage only 26. BJP at that time had won only 3 seats but got 10.16 percent of votes. Since then BJP is making progress in the state and in 2019 general elections they had performed exceptionally well in West Bengal. Now apply the tranist of planets on the oath taking chart of Mamata Banerjee as per Bhrigu principals. Transiting Saturn and Jupiter on natal Moon in Capricorn are not good for her. Rahu is transiting over the natal Sun in her oath taking chart explaining threat to her party. But on the 5th of April Jupiter will move into Aquarius which will influence the 7th house of the oath taking chart of Mamata Banerjee giving her major relief.

The Pisces lagna horoscope of Trinmoola Congress Party (TMC) is very strong as there is a beautiful exchange between lagna lord Jupiter and 11^th lord Saturn. Then we have this conjunction of 5^th lord Moon, 9^th lord Mars, lagna and 10^th lord Jupiter and the 3^rd and 8^th lord Venus in the 11^th house of gains which explain the success stroy of this regional party. In the Dasha of Mars (December 2000 to December 2007) party supremo Mamata Banerjee had make her mark in the politics of centre as she was a minister in the cabinet of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and later in Manmohan Singh government also. Trinamoola Congress Party had become a strong regional party during that era of coalition government in Indian politics. Like many other regional parties it has been part of both Congress and BJP led alliances in the centre.

In Rahu-Jupiter Dasha in Vimshottari (August 2010 to January 2013) TMC created a history by uprooting 34 years long Left Party rule in West Bengal. It was in May 2011 when TMC had miraculously won the assembly elections in West Bengal defeating CPI (M) led Left Front during her Rahu-Jupiter-Mercury in Vimshottari. The Bhukti and Antra lords Jupiter and Mercury both are very strong in the horoscope of TMC.

Interestingly the zodiacal sign of West Bengal, as per late B.V. Raman, is Gemini from where Saturn was transiting in the 4^th house and Jupiter was in the 10^th house in Pisces. So in 2011 when there was change of government in West Bengal the transiting Saturn and Jupiter were at the Virgo-Pisces axis i.e. at 4/10 axis of its zodiacal sign Gemini. Now during the assembly elections this year the transiting Saturn would be in Capricorn at the 8^th house from the zodiacal sign of West Bengal. Jupiter will come into Aquarius, in the month of April, at the 9^th house of West Bengal’s zodiacal sign. So the transit Saturn position is worrisome for the incumbent government while Jupiter’s better placement is a saving grace when we study it from the angle of zodiacal sign of this state.

At the time of assembly elections TMC would be under Rahu-Venus-Jupiter in Vimshottari from January 2021 to June 2021. Rahu and Venus are in the 6/8 position which is bad for this party who is losing its members as they are flocking into the rival  BJP  camp since last two years in large numbers. But then Bhukti lord Venus is exalted in Navamsa and Antra lord Jupiter is also strong in Navamsa lagna. The transiting Saturn over the Janma Nakshatra of TMC in the birth chart and in Navamsa it is in the 8^th from her Moon is not good. So its performance will be very average as compare to last election results in 2016.

In Chara Dasa Gemini-Cancer will be running from March 2021 to August 2021 in the horoscope of TMC. Atamakaraka Jupiter is in the 8^th from Gemini and Amatayakaraka Mercury is in 6^th from it which is not good. But the Bhukti Rashi  Cancer is the 5^th house from lagan and it get Jaimini aspect of Amatayakaraka Mercury which can bring them back into power but with reduce majority in 294 member legislative assembly. TMC may manage to form the government with secret help with Congress Party which is fighting this election in ally with Left Parties.
