On the 28th of February 2026 at 09:30 a.m. Iran local time the supreme leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei was taking a meeting along with the high profile military and civilian leadership. A surprise air strike by USA and Israel hit the secure Presidential office in Tehran and killed Ali Khamenei and many others. In about 24 hours USA and Israel have reportedly dropped 1200 bombs at various locations in Iran killing many key family members and associates of Ali Khamenei. In the April 2025 issue of the Express Star Teller Magazine i had forecast a very critical time for Ali Khamenei regime in my write-up “Saturn-Rahu Conjunction in Pisces and Danger for Iran”. Using Hindu New Year horoscope 2025-26 for Iran i had predicted a major danger for Ali Khamenei any time before March 2026.

After the tragic death of Ali Hosseini Khamenei many public protests are taking place in various countries in Asia where Shia Muslims people lives.

Iran Israel War and Middle East Tensions

Now the upcoming lunar eclipse of 3rd of March will fall in Leo sign which is the rising sign of the USA President Donald Trump (born 14 June 1946, 10:52 a.m. at Queens, New York, USA) and it is the 10th house of power in the birth chart of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (born 21 October 1949, 10:15 a.m. at Tel Aviv, Israel). The impact of this Lunar Eclipse will bring down the popularity of both Donald Trump and Bejamin Netanyahu in their respective countries. The war which USA and Israel has waged against the Iran will run longer than expected due to the effects of this total lunar eclipse.

As per the Brihat Samhita “Rahu-Chaar-Adhyay” if at the time of the lunar or solar eclipse Mars aspect the Sun and/or the Moon then it gives fear from the war, robbers and fire accident. Since at the time of the lunar eclipse of the 3rd of March 2026 Mars will be associated with the Sun and Rahu and it is giving its 7th aspect to the Moon so the current Middle East war is likely to get intensified. Mars will remain in Aquarius sign till the 2nd of April by which we don’t foresee any major relief for Iran as the relentless and brutal air strikes of USA and Israel are likely to continue.

After 2nd of April Mars will move into Pisces and get into a conjunction with natural malefic Saturn. In the foundation horoscope of Iran (1 April 1979, 15:00 hours at Tehran, Iran) the Vimshottari Dasha of Jupiter-Rahu-Saturn from 14th of February 2026 to 3rd of July 2026 will be very fatal and destructive for the country. However, in India, it will be visible only a short while after the rising of the Moon in the sky. According to Indian Standard Time, this lunar eclipse on March 3rd will touch at 3:20 pm, peak at 5:04 pm, and end at 6:47 pm. In the states of Northeast India, such as Assam, eastern Bengal, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur, this lunar eclipse will be visible for a longer period, hence its impact will be greater there.

Lunar Eclipse will be bad for these professional

This lunar eclipse will occur in the zodiac sign Leo and in the constellation Purvaphalguni. According to the fifth-century mundane astrology text, Brihat Samhita, an eclipse in Leo will affect “forest dwellers, political groups or political parties, factions, It troubles the virtuous, powerful, those who live like kings, and those who work in the forest.” According to the book Varsha Prabodh, an eclipse in the Purvaphalguni Nakshatra results in less rainfall, suffering for the people, and an increase in the price of oil. This eclipse is occurring in the lunar month of Phalguna, which, according to the Brihat Samhita, troubles dancers, actors, playwrights, song-composers, noble women, archers (soldiers), artisans, Kshatriyas, and ascetics.

Since this lunar eclipse is falling in Leo ruled by the Sun so the prices of gold are likely to rise a bit for the next 45 days at least.

The rulers of these countries will face trouble after the lunar eclipse

During the lunar eclipse on March 3rd, the Moon will form an inauspicious conjunction with Ketu in Leo, and will be aspected by the Sun, Mars, and Mercury from the seventh house. Oath Taking horoscope of Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman – What it foretells ?

Tarique Rahman’s centrist Bangladesh Nationalist Party secured 209 seats in the Bangladesh Parliament by winning 49.97% of the vote. Shafiqur Rahman’s alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami, a group of Islamic fundamentalist parties, secured 31.76% of the vote, winning 68 seats and gaining prominence as a strong opposition in the country’s Parliament. Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League was excluded from these elections. A coalition of student organizations led by Nahid Islam, the student leader who led the July 2024 uprising, won only 6 seats with 3.05% of the vote. Although Tarique Rahman secured more than two-thirds of the 299 seats in the elections, he made a grave mistake by taking the oath on the day of a solar eclipse.

In the recently concluded general elections in Bangladesh, India’s neighboring country, Tarique Rahman, leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and the son of the former Prime Minister late Khaleda Zia, won a landslide victory. He was sworn in as Prime Minister in Dhaka on, February 17th, at 4:12 pm. Previously, in the January 2024 Bangladesh elections, then-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had won a landslide victory, but the opposition parties boycotted the elections. Following the violent public protests in Bangladesh in July 2024, Sheikh Hasina fled to India on August 5th, 2024, and since then she has been seeking political asylum , which is a matter of debate between the two countries.

The disputes between the two countries will escalate on several bilateral issues. When a political leaders Moon sign and/or the lagna is identical with the country’s foundation chart’s lagna and/or the Moon then he remain popular and strong for a longer period. The Anter Dasha of Saturn will be good for Sheikh Hasina as it is the lord of the 3rd and the 4th house in Rashi strongly placed in the 9th house of luck. And then in Navamsha it is 4th (mother land) and 5th (children) strong in the 5th house along with the 10th lord the Moon.

Thus, Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League may render their political support to Tariqe Rahman’s Bangladesh Nationalist Party in coming years to curtain the Islamic fundamentalist Jamaat-e-Islami’s rising popularity recently.

Transit Rahu in Aquarius and Danger for Iran

Anti-government protests, which began in Shia-majority Iran on December 28th of last year, have now escalated, and according to reports, more than 3000 people have been killed and over 20,000 protesters have been arrested. This is the most violent mass movement in Iran since the Islamic Revolution of 1979. In January 1979, the then pro-American Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was forced to abdicate his throne and seek refuge in Egypt following a violent mass uprising in the country. After this Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini became the Supreme Leader of the country. From an astrological perspective, during the Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1978-79, Rahu was transiting in Leo and Ketu was in Aquarius then.

Currently, when violent mass movements are again taking place in Iran, Rahu is transiting in Aquarius and Ketu in Leo, afflicting the Aquarius-Leo axis. Aquarius is considered the sign associated with religious matters or places of worship. The affliction of Aquarius will intensify further when Mars conjuncts Rahu in this sign from February 23rd to April 1st, forming the Angaraka Yoga.

Iran supreme leader acknowledges thousands killed during recent protests

In the April 2025 issue of Express Star Teller magazine, I had forecast a very critical time of Ali Khamenei regime in my article “Saturn-Rahu Conjunction in Pisces and Danger for Iran”. Saturn-Rahu Conjunction in Pisces and Danger for Iran

Iran’s foundation chart is set for April 1, 1979, at 3 PM in Tehran, with Cancer rising. In Iran’s foundation chart, the lord of the fourth and eleventh houses, Venus, is placed in the eighth house of underground natural resources along with Ketu. The aspect of Saturn on the 8th house of underground wealth makes Iran a leading nation in the production of crude oil (petroleum). Saturn is consider as the natural karaka (significant) for the crude oil.

In Iran’s foundation chart, Saturn and Rahu are placed in the second house of wealth in Leo, and Ketu is currently transiting over them, which, according to the Bhrigu system, indicates a major crisis and financial loss in the country. Due to the influence of this inauspicious transit, Iran’s economy has been devastated, and the Iranian currency, the rial, has plummeted against the dollar in the international market.

In Iran’s foundation chart, the current period is Jupiter’s Mahadasha and Rahu’s Antardasha. This period of Jupiter-Rahu in Vimshottari is from June 10, 2025, to November 4, 2027, is currently underway. The Mahadasha lord, Jupiter, is the lord of the ninth house (religion) and is situated in the ascendant in its exalted sign, Cancer. Iran is an Islamic republic and a religious autocracy. However, the Antardasha lord, Rahu, is forming an inauspicious 2/12 relationship with Jupiter, creating a yoga for financial loss in Iran’s horoscope. In transit, the Mahadasha lord, Jupiter, is in Gemini, transiting through the twelfth house of loss, which could lead to a change of power in Iran by June of this year. Mars, in transit from January 15 to February 23, is in the seventh house of war in Capricorn, which could create a situation of war in Iran due to US military intervention.

The transiting Saturn is in Pisces at present which has influence the 10th (government) and 5th lord (minister post) Mars, 12th lord (loss of power) Mercury and the 2nd lord (state exchequer) the Sun. This transit of Saturn over these three planets is giving an inauspicious results to Iran.

As per the Jaimini system the Chara Dasha of Capricorn-Leo is unfavorable for Iran from November 2025 to May 2026. Capricorn is the 7th house of war. The Amatayakaraka Saturn falls in the 8th house from Capricorn along with Rahu in the Anter Dasha Rashi Leo which is not good for the ruler of the country Ali Khamenie.

Oath Taking Horoscope of Sushila Karki – What it foretells ?

On Tuesday, September 9th, a youth protest against corruption in Nepal, India’s northern neighbor, turned violent. Protesters burned down the homes and properties of several prominent ministers, including then-Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The Supreme Court of Nepal, a major newspaper group, and the Hilton Hotel were also set ablaze by the so-called Gen-Z violent protesters . However, the symbols of Nepal’s monarchy, the Royal Palace Narayanhiti in Kathmandu, and the palace of former King Gyanendra Shah, remained unscathed. Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Paudel accepted Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s resignation, after which groups of Gen-Z protesters (those born between 1997 and 2012) met with senior military officials and demanded the appointment of Sushila Karki as head of a caretaker government and suggested dissolving Parliament. Sushila Karki, the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, was sworn in as Prime Minister on September 12th at 9:26 pm Nepal time.

On 28th of May 2008 the first constituent assembly declared Nepal a Federal Democratic Republic at 23 hours 36 minute at Kathmandu. It ended the 240 year long monarchy in Nepal and the chart cast for the time is the foundation horoscope of Nepal Republic we use. In June 2022 i had discussed this horoscope of Nepal Republic at my blog . In that article i had forecast a very troublesome period for Nepal during November 2022 to November 2025 on the basis of Saturn Dasha and ‘Sadhe-Sati’ of Saturn running in its Capricorn lagna birth chart.

Interestingly a violent change in government has just taken placed in Nepal after a Total Lunar Eclipse of 7/8 September 2025 which had fallen in the Purvabhadra Pada Nakshatra in Aquarius sign which is the Moon sign in the horoscope of Nepal Republic.

Since COVID 19 the high unemployment, declining foreign reserves and low investments have created serious troubles for Nepal’s economy but now its recovery will start from year 2026.

Sushila Karki will face significant challenges

Sushila Karki became the acting Prime Minister after taking oath in Kathmandu on September 12, 2025, at 9:26 pm local time. She became the first woman in her country to hold this position. In her oath taking chart, the ascendant of Taurus, the sign of Venus, the feminine planet, is rising, and the Moon, itself a feminine planet, is present in the ascendant sign.
