Lunar Eclipse of 16/17 July 2019- How it will effect Indian and the world ?

July 15, 2019 By Sachin Malhotra

On the night of 16th/17th of July a partial lunar eclipse will be visible in many parts of Asia, Africa, Europe, South-America and Australia. In India this lunar eclipse will be visible from the mid night of 16th/17th of July from 01:30 am to 04:30 am in most parts of the country except some regions of Arunachal  Pradesh. From the astrological point of view this lunar eclipse will be bad for Pakistan, India, middle east and some south-american nations. At the time of this lunar eclipse Moon will be in Uttara-Ashada Nakshatra in the last Navamsha of Sagittarius sign and in the first Navamsha of Capricorn. So this eclipse will influence the war sign Sagittarius and the watery sign Capricorn. The first half of Capricorn is a watery sign whereas the second half of Capricorn is consider an earthy element.

[Hindi] 16 /17 जुलाई की रात पड़ रहा है चंद्र ग्रहण, जाने क्या होगा देश-दुनिया पर इसका प्रभाव ?

Bad effects of 16th/17th of July Lunar Eclipse on India

At the time of this lunar eclipse the Taurus sign is rising which is the Janma lagna of the foundation horoscope of India. So this eclipse will specifically be very bad for India among all the countries where it is visible.

Astrological forecast for Lunar eclipse of 16/17 July 2019

Astrological predictions for Lunar eclipse of 16/17 July 2019

As you can see the planetary position at the time of this lunar eclipse Moon, Ketu and Saturn are in the 8th house from Taurus (Vrishabha) which is the lagna of the foundation chart of India. The 8th house is the house of national mourning, scandals and political crisis. There will not be any surprise if some big leaders of ruling government at the center may suffer from untimely deaths or unfortunate incidents. Venus is transiting from Gemini which is the weakest Rashi in the Ashtakavarga of India with only 19 points. Venus, Sun and Rahu in the Gemini is not good as it may give political and sex scandals.

As per Acharya Varahamihira an eclipse in Sagittarius sign gives trouble to ministers, rulers of the country, doctors, traders, army man and specially those living in Punjab region ( modern Punjab of both India and Pakistan). At the time of eclipse the Mars is in the 3rd house and the 3rd lord Moon is in the 8th house showing some disturbances in border areas for India.

Very Heavy Rains and Flood Foreseen after Lunar Eclipse of 16/17 July 2019

The lunar eclipse of 16/17 July is falling on the Ashadi Poornima. Moon will be in Makar Rashi during the last part of this eclipse which will bring extremely heavy rains and flood in many parts of the country. The North-India and Central India will suffer badly from flood during 17th of July to 5th of August 2019. I had also mention these forecast in my article on South West Monsoon rains 2019.  This will give troubles to the people living in major cities of North and Central parts of India. But it will bring some relief for the farmers who are struggling from drought and delay in the sowing of Kharif crops. Mars is in Cancer sign with Mercury under the aspect of Jupiter from Scorpio is showing the possibilities of extremely heavy rainfall till 5th of August.

Prices of Gold and Silver Will rise

Jupiter and Sun are the Karaka for gold. Venus and Moon signifies the silver. Whenever these planets get afflicted by malefic planets then the prices of these precious metals may increase. At the time of lunar eclipse Jupiter is retrograde and Sun is with Rahu getting the aspect by Saturn. Venus is also with Rahu and Moon is with Saturn. This indicate a sharp rise in the price of gold and silver in next few days.

Danger of a strong Earthquake after 16th/17th of July Lunar Eclipse

At the time of a solar or lunar eclipse if luminaries are in airy or earthy Rashi and Navamsha then there is some danger of a strong earthquake. Major planets Jupiter, Saturn and Mars getting retrograde may also bring such earthquakes which could be more than 7 at rector scale giving damage to lives and properties. Such conditions are not present at the time of this lunar eclipse of 16/17 July. Moon will be in Makar Rashi and Makar Navamsha in the ending portion of this lunar eclipse. It gives danger of damage from an earthquake and/or cloud burst. Since Moon is in Uttara-Ashadha so the North-West direction may get affect with an earthquake and cloud burst as per the Koorma Chakra. Punjab province of India and Pakistan and Himachal Pradesh could get adversely affected with these natural calamities within 15 days of this lunar eclipse.

At the time of this eclipse the Sun-Rahu are in Gemini which signifies America. The earlier solar eclipse of 2 July was visible in south-America where the earthquake sensitive areas like  Mexico, Peru, Ecuador can come under the danger of a strong earthquake influencing millions of peoples. Jupiter and Saturn are retrograde at the time of this eclipse. Mars is debilitated and Mercury is also retrograde. Jupiter and Saturn are in 22 degrees south declination so the southern parts of the world like south-america are under the danger from an earthquake after this lunar eclipse of 16th/17th of July.

Forecasting trends for the south-west monsoon 2019

May 29, 2019 By Sachin Malhotra

The south-west monsoon 2019 is likely to be very erratic due to the conjunction of Saturn and Ketu in Sagittarius in transit. Apart from this the transiting Mars is ahead of Sun which is a classical yoga in astro-meteorology for delay in rainfall. I have given forecast about possible delay in south-west monsoon, which may reach Kerala during 3rd of June to 6th of June, a  month back. On the 11th of April my article ” Sapta Nadi Chakra and Forecasting Summer Season Trends 2019″ was posted on this blog in which prediction about extremely hot June and delay in  monsoon rains  was given.  The scarcity of water in many parts of the country specially in Maharashatra, Gujarat and Karnataka will be a trouble for the government during June month.

Saturn-Ketu conjunction will hold its sway during the entire south-west monsoon season (from June to September) this year. Apart from this combination the  transit of Mars ahead of Sun till the mid of July month and a partial lunar eclipse falling on the 16th of July are indicating an erratic monsoon season. The Ardra Pravesh horoscope and lunar charts indicate that this year south-west monsoon will give around 90% of rains.

Above normal temperature in June 2019 and drought like situation

Mars transiting ahead of Sun is a classical yoga for less than average rainfall. The classical text on astro-meteorology like Mayur Chitram and Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar have given this yoga stating that “ when Mars is ahead of Sun in transit there is less rainfall and prices of food grains goes high”. It is only on the 16th of July with the entry of Sun into Cancer this combination will break. The conjunction of Sun and Mars in the watery sign Cancer from the 16th of July to 8th of August will give excessive rains and flood in many parts then.

But before this the month of June and the first half of July month will be extremely dry and hot. The above normal temperature in the Northern and Western parts of the India will break the records of decades. In the southern states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana etc. there will get less than normal rain in the month of June. The monsoon will reach late in these states. In the central parts of India especially in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh monsoon will be deficient till 16th of July which will be bad for the farmers of these two states. The Gemini sign signifying West Bengal and Bangladesh will be afflicted with the transit of Mars and the aspect of Saturn on it. Thus the worst affected areas would be West Bengal and Bangladesh this year which may come under draught like situation.

The Aries sign signifies the North Eastern states. The ruler of Aries is Mars which transiting into Gemini a dry sign shows less than average rainfall till the 22nd  of June in the North-Eastern states of India.

Sun enter’s into Taurus  and predictions for Kharif crops 2019

15 May 2019, 11:01 hours at Delhi

Forecasting trends for the south-west monsoon 2019

Now let us analysis the horoscope of Sun’s entry into Taurus which as per Bhriat Samhita’s ‘Sasya-Jataka-Adhaya’ ( chapter 39) tells us about the possible harvest of Kharif crops i.e. winter harvest. The Kharif crops are sown during the pre-monsoon and monsoon season. They are harvested during the coming winter season. The planetary position at the time of Sun’s entry into Taurus gives indication about the possible harvest of Kharif (winter season) crops. This year at the time of Sun’s entry into Taurus malefic planets Mars and Ketu are in the 2nd house from Sun which do not get any good aspect from benefic planets but instead they are in mutual aspect with Ketu and Saturn. So this yoga can give delay in the sowing of Kharif crops due to deficient pre-monsoon rains in the southern states.

New Moon chart

3 June 2019, 15:31 hours at Delhi

Forecasting trends for the south-west monsoon 2019

In the full Moon horoscope of 3rd June the luminaries (Sun and Moon) are in Taurus in opposition with Jupiter retrograde in watery sign Scorpio. This will initiate some light rain from the 3rd of June in the coastal areas of Kerala. When the Moon will move into Cancer on the 6th of June more rain will come in Kerala and also in some of the North Eastern states. Mars by then would have come into Punarvasu Nakshatra. But Mars will be transiting ahead of Sun till the mid of July this year. The Saturn and Ketu, which are another dry planets, will be in opposition to the dry Mars showing less than average rainfall  till the 16th of July this year.

Ardra Pravesh horoscope 2019

22 Jun 2019, 17:19 hours at Delhi

Forecasting trends for the south-west monsoon 2019

Forecasting trends for the south-west monsoon 2019

Now we will study the horoscope cast for the time of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshatra. This chart is analysis for judging the amount of rain and its distribution during the south-west monsoon rains.

  1. In the Ardra Pravesh horoscope of Sun the rising sign is Scorpio where Jupiter is placed. The presence of watery planets Jupiter, Moon and Venus in Kendra ensure that despite some delay in south-west monsoon rains there will be at least 90% of rains of the LPA (Long Period Average).
  2. The lagna lord Mars and Moon sign lord Saturn both are in dry signs. See the Mars placed in Gemini in the 8th house with Sun and Rahu. Saturn, which is the lord of Moon sign, is with dry planet Ketu in fiery sign Sagittarius. This shows dryness and above normal temperature at the time of Ardra Pravesh of Sun i.e. around 22nd of June.
  3. Sun is sandwiched between Venus and Mercury which as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar it is a yoga for obstruction in rains.
  4. Normally south-west monsoon reaches Mumbai and Kolkata around 10th of June but this year it will reach late in these cities giving troubles to its inhabitants from abnormal heat and humid weather.
  5. On the night of 22nd of June Mars will enter into watery sign Cancer which will give some rains in the southern states and also in the central parts of India. Some rains will also come in North-Eastern states, Kolkata and Mumbai around 22nd to 25th of June.
  6. On the 3rd and 4th of July Moon will be transiting from Cancer along with Mars and Mercury which will bring monsoon clouds in Delhi, Haryana and Western UP.
  7. Some more rains is likely around 7th of July when Mercury will become retrograde in watery sign Cancer. This will give rains in many parts of the country giving some relief to the draught stricken areas.

Partial Lunar Eclipse of 17 July and onset of heavy rainfall activity

Full Moon Chart

17 July 2019, 03:08 hours at Delhi

Astrological forecast for south-west monsoon 2019

On the night of 16/17 of July a partial Lunar Eclipse will be visible in the Indian sub-continent. This eclipse will change the course of south-monsoon rains with the onset of heavy rainfall activity in many parts of the country. For the purpose of mundane astrology the horoscope of eclipses are cast for the time when the longitudes of Sun and Moon are exactly equal. So in case of a solar eclipse we take New Moon chart and in case of lunar eclipse the chart of Full Moon is taken into consideration. In the horoscope of Full Moon given above the rising sign is Taurus which is same as of the foundation chart of India. This partial lunar eclipse of 17th of July is going to be very critical for India.

In weather conditions it will drastically change the pattern and distribution of rainfall activity. The northern and central parts of India will get very heavy rainfall in the next 5-6 days of this lunar eclipse. See the position of Moon in Sagittarius sign in Uttarashadha Nakshatra. As per Koorma Chakra the Uttarashadha Nakshatra signifies northern states specially U.P. , Haryana, Punjab etc. A strong earthquake in the northern parts of Indian and in Pakistan is expected within 15 days of this lunar eclipse in the second fortnight of July 2019. The eclipse falling in the 8th house of mass deaths also indicates loss of lives and properties due to heavy rainfall and flash-floods. Some kind of cloud-burst and flash flood activity may give lots of destruction in the region of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh in the second fortnight of July.

Mercury going direct on 1st  of August will bring more rain

Mercury will go into direct motion in the last degrees of Gemini sign on the 1st   of August. Later it will move into Cancer on the 2nd of August. So around this time in the first week of August the rainfall activity will increase considerable especially in the North and Eastern Parts of the country. The major rivers of these areas like Ganga, Chambal, Betwa, Yamuna, Gomati, Ghaghra, Gandak, Kosi and Brahmaputra will be flooded with water then. Mars changing sign from Cancer to Leo on the 8th of August will give some blistering rain in many parts of the country. The Jupiter coming into direction motion on the 11th of August in sign Scorpio will give some good rain in the Delhi-NCR region. The western states like Gujarat and Maharashtra will also get good rainfall during the first fortnight of August.

Venus and Sun moving into Leo will give rain around 17th of August On the 17th of August Sun will enter into Leo sign and a day before Venus will also entry into Leo which is a dry sign. This will give some rains in the eastern parts of the country but it will not be very sufficient. Leo is a dry sign and Venus transiting in it means that there will be some reduction in the amount of rainfall. Mars will also enter into Leo on the 8th of August so a cluster of Sun, Mars and Venus in Leo will reduce the rainfall activity in the northern states after the 17th of August.

The 5 planet conjunction on 30th of August and more erratic rain possible

New Moon

30 August 2019, 16:07 hours at Delhi

Forecasting trends for south-west monsoon 2019

A five planet conjunction of Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus and Mercury will occur on the 30th of August this year in the Leo sign which signifies the east direction. There could be extremely heavy rainfall activity in the North-Eastern states of the country and also in Bihar and Jharkhand then. Around the New Moon of 30th of August some heavy flood and earthquake will bring some destruction in the eastern parts of the country.

In the last week of August and first fortnight of September there will be very heavy rainfall activity in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Bengal etc. In the months of August and September there will be above normal rainfall but in the months of June and July there will be less than average rainfall activity. The south-west monsoon will be delayed in most parts of the country this year and it will give less than average rain till 16th of July. Later a heavy rainfall activity period from 16th of July to 16th of August will make-up with the deficient rain in the early phase of south-west monsoon season. But this erratic rainfall activity and unequal distribution of rains will bring lots of losses of crops for the farmers as they will not be able to plan the seeds properly for Kharif crops. This year the south-west monsoon will give around 90% of rains for the Long period average (LPA).

Sapta Nadi Chakra and Forecasting Summer Season treads for 2019

April 11, 2019 By Sachin Malhotra

Sapta Nadi Chakra given in the classical text Narapati Jayacharya is use to see the weather trends on the basis of planetary transit into various Nakshatra’s. In this Chakra 28 Nakshatra, including Abhijit, are divided into 7 categories and the transiting planets are placed in it. These 7 divisions of Nakshatra’s are addressed as Nadi’s named Prachanda (fierce) , Pawan (windy) , Dahan  (Hot) , Soumaya (Weather Change) , Neera (Good rain) , Jala (Better rain) and Amrit( Best Rain). As per the seasonal weather conditions of a particular region astrological forecast are made on the basis of current transit of planets into these Nadi’s. This year during the summer season most of the planets, including Saturn and Jupiter, will be transiting in the Prachanda and Pawan Nadi which will give record breaking heat waves with lots of dust storms and some moderate rains. The period from 15th of May to the 23th of June will be the hottest in most parts of Northern and Central India this year. The temperature during this period will be above normal for the season. Some of the deadly dust storms with light rain showers and hailstorms will give lots of damage in the region of U.P. , Bihar, Punja, Delhi and Haryana.

Forecasting summer season trends for year 2019

See the given below Sapta Nadi Chakra for 15 May 2019. Sun and Mercury are in Prachanda Nadi showing fierce weather. Saturn and Ketu are in Soumya Nadi which indicate windy conditions and dust storm. Mars is in the Dahan Nadi which signifies very hot winds disturbing for the people. There will be more than normal heat waves and dust storms giving lots of damage to farmers during 15th of May to 15th of June in the region of U.P. , Bihar, Haryana and Punjab. These dust storms may strike these regions at the time of Mars moving into Gemini around 7th of May , Mercury coming into Taurus on the 18th of May and around the New Moon of 5th of May.

Less rain during pre-monsoon season in south-India

It has been observed that when Mercury enter into Sagittarius it bring cold waves in winters and when it enters into Aries it bring heat-waves during summer. In the second fortnight of April this year Mercury will be conjoined with Venus in the sign Pisces as we can see in this Full Moon horoscope given here. This will give light rain and hailstorms damaging farmers crops.

Full Moon horoscope

19 April 2019, 16:42 hours at Delhi

Forecasting summer season trends for year 2019

Mercury and Venus are two watery planets which while transiting from the watery sign Pisces are likely to keep the temperate under control during the last fortnight of April. Although Mars will be in Rohini Nakshatra and also transiting ahead of Sun which as per Varahamihir’s Brihat Samhita is a yoga giving dryness and less rain. Mars and Rahu ahead of Sun will give less rain during the pre-monsoon season in southern states. In Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashatra and Karnataka there will be less than normal rain during the pre-monsoon season this year. Saturn and Jupiter transiting from fiery sign Sagittarius also indicates the same.

Mercury enter into Aries on the 3rd of May

The entry of Mercury into Aries will bring rise in the temperature in the central, western and northern parts of the country. After the 3rd of May the heat wave will start showing its sever effects in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, U.P. , Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand and Delhi.

New Moon horoscope

5 May 2019, 04:15 hours at Delhi

Forecasting summer season trends for year 2019

In the New Moon horoscope of the 5th of May we can see the opposition of Jupiter and Mars. Jupiter retrograde in watery sign Scorpio getting the aspect of Mars will bring thundershowers and dust-storms at many parts of northern states like U.P., Bihar, Haryana and Punjab. Notice the close conjunction of Ketu and Saturn in Sagittarius. They are in fiery sign and in watery Navamsha of Scorpio. This yoga will bring rains with dust-storms. Lots of destruction will happen due to it in many parts of northern-states during the month of May especially after the new Moon of the 5th of May.

Mars transiting  in Ardra Nakshatra and possible delay in south-west monsoon

Not only the pre-monsoon rains will be less than normal but the south-west monsoon is also likely to get delay due to the Mars transiting ahead of Sun during the period from 15th of May to 15th of June. Mars will be afflicting the Ardra Nakshatra during this period which as per the classical text of Medini Jyotish gives delay in rains and extreme heat waves.  The month of May and June will be very dry. The period from 15th of May to 15th of June could well be the hottest in the last 10 years or so. The central, western and northern states of India will get scorching heat waves during this period which may kill hundreds of people. The states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh will be the worst affected. The affliction to the Gemini sign shows less than normal rain and excessive heat in the West Bengal region and also in Bangaladesh. The affliction to Sagittarius will give record breaking heat waves in Uttar Pradesh and in Uttarakhand the wild-fires will destroy many forests. Thus the delay in south-west monsoon this year is likely to bring a situation of draught at many places which will give problems to the farmers in the entire month of May and June this year. The period from 15th of May to the 23rd of June, the time when Mars will be in Gemini, will be the most dry and hottest in the recent years in India. The temperature during this period will be above normal for the season.

Since the Gemini sign also signifies the USA so the above mention period will also give a scorching summer and lots of incident of forest fire this year. The Europe and North America will get the above normal temperature this year during the period from 15th of May to the 24rd of June this year.

Possible effects of Two Eclipses in January 2019

January 8, 2019 By Sachin Malhotra

The year 2019 is beginning  with a partial Solar  Eclipse on 5-6 January followed by a Total Lunar Eclipse on 20-21 January. These two eclipses are not visible in Indian sub-continent so they will have only a limited impact in this area. But since at the time of eclipse the luminaries ( Sun and Moon ) are aliened in a specific position from the earth so it does have a huge impact on the weather conditions everywhere irrespective of the places where eclipses are visible or not. I had already made a predictions about a chilling winter season 2018-19 with record breaking snowfall and rains    in my post written in the first week of November last year. My articles about possible heavy rains and snowfall in winter season were also published in the Express Star Teller magazine’s December 2018 issue and on the website of Hindu New Paper Navbharat times where I write regularly.

I had predicted in my blog about heavy snowfall and rainfall activity after 2nd of January when Venus will enter into Scorpio to conjoined with Jupiter. This prediction of rainfall activity has also come true now and I am getting lots of messages from the people in this regard. On the day of partial Solar  eclipse on the 6th  of January there was heavy snowfall in the Himalayas and some light rainfall in Delhi-NCR which has further drop the temperature.

North India Shivers as cold wave intensify; light rain in Delhi and snowfall in J&K

Now see the given below horoscope of Partial lunar eclipse .

Horoscope of Partial Lunar Eclipse of 5-6 January 2019

horoscope of solar eclipse of 5-6 January 2019

The Partial solar eclipse is falling in the Sagittarius which signifies ‘war equipment’s’. This eclipse was visible in China, Japan, Korean peninsular ( South and North Korea) and eastern parts of Russia. The eclipse in this part of the world indicates a possible arm-race in Asia. Since the Saturn, a slow moving planet, is with the Sun at the time of this eclipse in the Sagittarius sign so the results of this particle solar eclipse will be spread out for a longer duration. The south-China sea dispute will flared-up this year. China will also take aggressive stand against Taiwan and Japan.

The weather will be extremely could in the entire Asia during the first two months of this year. The record breaking snowfall in China and the Himalaya region of India will surprise meteorologist. This will extend the winter season in both India and China. Jupiter-Venus in Scorpio at the time of eclipse and Mars is Pisces are in watery signs. Rahu is in Cancer so all the watery signs being occupied by planets indicates more than average rains and snowfall during this winter season.

The Mars at the 4th house from the eclipse sign also shows a danger of an earthquake and Tsunami in Japan signifies by east direction. This earthquake may come in 15 days of this solar eclipse.

Top Congress leader may go to jail in year 2019

As per the Bhriat Samhita the eclipse is Sagittarius gives troubles to kings, ministers, wrestlers, horses, people living in Bihar (Mithila) and Punjab (Panchal) , medical professionals, traders and arms dealers. The ongoing political tussle on the Rafael and Augusta defense deal  is likely to keep hovering over political scene throughout this year. A total solar eclipse on the 26th of December 2019 later will bring a volatile situation in Indian politics when any one of the Rahul or Sonia Gandhi may have to go to jail or face tough Judicial scrutiny.

Horoscope of Total Lunar Eclipse of  20-21 January 2019

Horoscope of total lunar eclipse of 20-21 January 2019

The total lunar eclipse falling on the 20-21 January will be visible in entire North and South America, Europe and parts of western Asia. This lunar eclipse is falling in Cancer sign which will bring blistering cold and extremely heavy snow-fall in entire North America and Europe. Immediately after the lunar eclipse the chilling cold wave will bring entire USA, Canada and Europe. Aspect of Mercury and Jupiter on the Moon at the time of eclipse will bring major ups and down in stock markets around the world. In India inflation will fall down and the prices of essential commodities will become cheaper. The prices of crude oil will also become cheap worldwide. The gold and silver prices will also start falling.

There will be heavy snowfall and rains in many parts of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan also. See all the planets placed in watery sign at the time of this lunar eclipse indicating immediate rain just after the eclipse. In north and central India this unseasoned rain will bring losses to the harvest.

This eclipse will be good for Donald Trump and Narendra Modi both having Scorpio Rashi.  Donald Trump will find a way-out to overcome the US budget Shutdown  . In India Narendra Modi will announce some popular scheme for farmers to regain  his momentum which he lost due to  electoral defeats in the assembly polls in three states in December 2018.
