Tamil Nadu politics has been dominated by Dravidian parties and film stars since 1967. This  year’s assembly elections was the first one after the demise  of Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa, the two stalwarts of Dravidian politics. The son of M. Karunanidhi and  DMK chief  Stalin led his party to a landslide victory which was not a big surprise for those who knows Tamil Nadu politics . M.K. Stalin was born on 1 March 1953 at Chennai at 23:50 pm, has Janma lagna of Scorpio rising as the ascendant, in which a big Raja Yoga is being formed by the  ninth lord Moon in the 10^th house in mutual aspect with the  tenth lord  Sun sitting at the fourth house. The strength of this yoga made his father M Karunanidhi the 5 time chief minister of the state and has was also a very famous Tamil poet and writer. M.K. Stalin has recently won the Tamil Nadu assembly elections which bring back his party DMK into power after 10 years. I had made the prediction about his success well in advance in my article “Planets and Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections in 2021” posted on this blog on 17th of March 2021.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Sun 5 years 3 months 20 days    

As per Laghu Parashari for Scorpio ascendant Moon and Sun make the best possible Raja Yoga which is very strongly visible in the birth chart of Mr. Stalin. The above mention yoga is fortified by the aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter on Moon. If we carefully observe the Navamsha and Dashamsha then we find out that Sun and Moon both are in benefic varga’s getting decent strength. The conjunction of lagna and 6^th lord Mars with 8^th and 11^th lord Mercury shows Stalin’s disputes with his elder brother M.K. Alagiri. Rahu is in the 3^rd house and the 3^rd lord Saturn is in the 12^th house which amply explain Stalin’s troubles with younger sister Kanimozhi. Stalin’s party DMK was out of power since losing the assembly elections in 2012 (Saturn-Saturn dasha) and also in 2017 (Saturn-Venus dasha). On both occasions Stain was under bad dasha periods of Saturn-Saturn and Saturn-Venus respectively, both connected with the 12^th house in Rashi. In Navamsha and Dashamsha Venus is badly placed in the 8t house.

In Stalin’s horoscope, at present, the Antardasha of the Moon sitting in the tenth house in the Vimshottari dasha of the exalted Saturn sitting in the twelfth house is going on, which has got him the post of Chief Minister after a huge election victory. Stalin’s party , in the 234-member Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly,  DMK has won 159 seats and got 45% votes, which is a big achievement. Next in Stalin’s horoscope, there is going to be a difficult Vimshottari dasha like Saturn-Mars (December 2021 to February 2023) and then Saturn-Rahu (February 2023 to December 2025), in which he may have to face some big difficulties. There may be problems with the leaders of his own party. Stalin may also have to face some controversies with his elder brother Alagiri and younger sister Kanimozhi.

Stalin took oath on the day of Friday (7 May 2021) 09:13 am at Chennai, when the Gemini ascendant was rising in which Mars sitting in the Ascendant is giving astrological indications towards some big challenges. The Tithi Shukla Ekadashi, Nakshatra Poorva Bhadrapada, Yoga Vaidhriti  and Karana Balava are fine but the 6^th lord  Mars sitting in the ascendant of the oath taking horoscope can make Stalin’s style of work furious and will invite lots of conflicts. The outbreak of the third wave of the ongoing corona epidemic may increase rapidly in Tamil Nadu, about which Stalin has to take strict measures like lockdown any time around October this year. In the swearing-in-horoscope, the conjunction of Rahu with Venus in the 12^th house along with ascendant lord  Mercury  will prompt Stalin to make big expenses in dealing with Corona and spending  money on big social welfare schemes during his tenure which will put pressure on state exchequer. In the ninth house Jupiter is sitting and looking at the Ascendant, due to which Stalin will be successful in his endeavors since Jupiter is unaffiliated in both Rashi and Navamsha. The Moon sitting in the tenth house is strong in Pisces and Cancer sign is in the Navamsha, which will not allow any special harm to Stalin’s public image. But Saturn sitting in the eighth house is giving its 3^rd aspect at  the tenth house is not good. The aspect of 6^th lord Mars on the 8^th and 9^th lord Saturn indicate some troubles from higher judiciary which may come on the matter of reservation case of Tamil Nadu government which is on hearing at the apex court.

Troubles for Stalin Indicated in 2025-2026

In interesting point to note here is that in the swearing-in-horoscope of M.K. Stain Moon is in Pisces in Poorva-Bhadrapada  Nakshatra over which the transiting Saturn will come in early 2025. Saturn transiting over the natal Moon of swearing-in horoscope of a leader will give him great administrative difficulties if in his birth chart the dasha of hard malefic is running that time. This point I have observed in case of so many chief ministers since last one decade. In year 2025 Stalin will face similar situation when in his birth chart a difficult period of Saturn-Rahu in Vimshottari would be running and the transiting Saturn would be over the natal Moon of his swearing-in horoscope. Moreover Stalin has his natal Moon in Leo from where the transiting Saturn in 2025 would be in Pisces i.e. his 8^th house.

Now see the horoscope of Tamil Nadu State where Vimshottari Dasha of Jupiter-Ketu is running from January 2021 to December 2021. Ketu is in the 12^th house of expenditure along with 2^nd and 7^th lord Mars. The state has to incur huge expenditure on the third wave of COVID during October to December this year. Later Jupiter-Venus dasha from end of December 2021 to August 2024 will be good for state’s infrastructure development, textile industry, farmers, fisheries and women welfare. The Tamil Nadu state will progress very fast during 2022 to 2024.

The state of Tamil Nadu is undergoing an assembly election process which is her first elections after the demise of legendary Jayalalithaa and M. Karunanidhi . These two heavyweight political leaders of Dravidian parties were the chief minister of the state for many years alternatively. This time the contest is between AIADMK led by chief minister Eddapaddi K. Palaniswami and DMK chief M.K. Stalin. The Gemini lagna horoscope of Eddapaddi K. Palaniswami is under weak dashas which indicate that he will not get re-elected and there shall be a new government led by M.K. Stalin who can win Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2021. I had discuss the horoscope of M.K. Stalin earlier in 2019 forecasting his rise and chief ministership in future. The DMK is fighting the elections in alliance with Congress party while AIADMK has BJP as its partner in the state. However, both these national parties Congress and BJP do not have any strong base in the state.

M.K. Stalin- the future chief minister of Tamil Nadu 

Mr. Stalin has recently issued a vision document of her party in which he has promised to give Rs. 1000/- per month to every ration card hold housewife. The DMK has also promised to increase the budget allocation of education and health by 3 times. The incumbent AIADMK in a bid to win third consecutive term has promised ‘Washing Machine’ to every household, waving education loan, case assistance of Rs. 1500/- to every women head of the family etc. The Tamil Nadu Chief minister Palaniswami had earlier hard time with his senior party leader and former Chief Minister  O. Pannerselvam. Now when both these leaders  have made a compromise and have also managed to pursue Sasikala to quit politics, it will be a nice contest in the elections as AIADMK votes will not split.

Horoscope of Eddapaddi K. Palaniswami

Tamil Nadu chief minister E.K. Palaniswami has a very strong Gemini lagna horoscope in which 9th lord Saturn is in the 5th house of ministership. The lagna lord Mercury is in the 9th house of luck but is under the aspect of 6th lord Mars. Palaniswami become the chief minister of state in very difficult circumstances on 16 February 2017. His party was struggling after the death of Jayalalithaa. Former chief minister O.Panneerselvam was fighting a political battle with senior leader Sasikala within in the party. In this turbulent time Palaniswami took the charge and consolidated the organization with great efficiency. See the 3rd lord Sun strongly placed in the 10th house of power along with 5th lord Venus. The 3rd house is the house of efforts. As per Sage Parashara the 3rd lord in the 10th house make one very courageous. It was during Saturn-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari (October 2015 to August 2018) when Palaniswami took the office of Tamil Nadu chief minister. Rahu the sub period lord is in the 7th house of ‘Pada Prapti’.

But the depositor of Rahu is Jupiter which falls in the 12th house and is in mutual aspect with Mars the lord of 6th and 11th houses. This Jupiter-Mars opposition at the 6/12 axis gave him a lots of troubles within his own party. But since Rahu, the anter dasha lord, was strongly placed in the Navamsha and Dashamsha charts so it made him retain the post despite of all the hurdles.

In Saturn-Jupiter period (August 2018 to February 2021) in Vimshottari Palaniswami consolidated his position in state politics by implementing the electoral promises made by Jayalalithaa  in 2016. His simplicity and ability to implement welfare schemes won the heart of millions making him the most popular face in his party AIADMK. See Jupiter in the 12th house is in exchange with 12th lord Venus which shows his success in implementing welfare measures. The 12th house is specifically related with welfare measures  in the house of politicians. In Navamsha Jupiter is with Sun in beautiful ‘Raja Lakshan Yoga’. Now his Mercury maha dasha has just started which is not involve in any good yoga but is strongly placed in the 9th house of luck. As per a Parashari principals a plant can’t gives its full results, good or bad, in its own anter dasha. So during Mercury-Mercury period (February 2021 to July 2023) he is expected to get a moderate success in the elections.

As per Jaimini Chara Dasha it is the period of Leo-Aries from February 2021 to July 2021. Amatayakaraka Jupiter is placed in Taurus which is 10th house from Leo and 2nd house from anter dasha Rashi Taurus. But Atamakaraka Mars is in Scorpio which is the 8th house from anter dasha Rashi Aries. So despite a decent performance he will not get re-elected as chief minister for a second term.

The Taurus lagna horoscope given above is of the former chief minister O. Pannerselvam who is currently deputy to the chief minister E.K. Palaniswami. The Taurus lagna chart of Paneerselvam has 9th and 10th lord Saturn in the 5th house which is in mutual aspect with 3rd lord Moon. But the 5th house of ministership Mercury goes into the 8th house. He served three times as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu mostly in the absence of Jayalalithaa. He was very close to then party chief Jayalalithaa. On 6 December 2016 he become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu for third time after the death of Jayalalithaa. It was Vimshottari dasha of Rahu-Saturn running (March 2014 to January 2017) in his horoscope. Rahu and Saturn are both at 6/8 axis so he has to relinquish his post as he was facting very tough opposition within the party from senior leader Sasikala.

In Rahu-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari he made a comeback and sworn-in as the deputy chief minister in August 2017. Now he is the most powerful minister in the AIADMK government with holding finance, housing, urban development, town planning etc. portfolios. Rahu is strongly placed in the 10th house of power in his birth chart with Mars and Jupiter. But Rahu-Venus dasha current (September 2020 to September 2023) is a period of transition for him Venus gives bad results for Taurus lagna natives as per Parashari rule. Venus falls in the 12th house from dasha lord Rahu. In Dashamsha Venus is in the 6th house of disputes which is not good for Panneerselvam.

But in Chara Dasha Aries-Taurus period is running from January 2021 to November 2021. Amatayakaraka Venus is in Capricorn which is in the 10th from Aries and 9th from Taurus sign. So under his leadership party will do well in the assembly elections but may not win the contest.

Ketu is in the 12th house of changes and in double transit Saturn-Jupiter from Makar has influence the 4/10 axis. This combination can bring a change in the state government after this assembly elections. In the long run Jupiter-Venus period from December 2021 to August 2024 shows major changes in state policies specially in the area of agriculture and town planning.

Karunanidhi who was 6 times chilef minister of state. The 11th lord Mercury is  in conjunction with 6th lord Mars shows his turbulent relations with elder brother M.K. Alagiri. During the maha dasha of Saturn, which started in June 2009, Stalin has to sit in the opposition of Tamil Nadu assembly  as his party fail to win elections in 2011 and 2016 on both occasions.

The anter dasha lord Moon is in the Navamsa of Jupiter and get the aspect of Jupiter is very strong. During Saturn-Moon-Mercury (from April 2021 to July 2021) he will surely become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu by winning with a good margin. The Antra lord Mercury is 11^th lord of gains and is strongly placed.

 

Saturn-Moon-Mercury period will be very good for Stalin’s political career  as these three dasha lords are strong in his Dashamsha chart. Saturn is along with Jupiter and is in mutual aspect with strong Moon in the 9th house of luck. Mercury the sub-sub period lord is taking lordship of lagna and 10th house in Dashamsha. He will surely become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu after this elections.

In Chara Dasha Pisces-Leo period is running October 2020 to September 2021. In the birth chart of Stalin Pisces is the 5th house in which his Putrakaraka Mercury and Amatayakaraka Mars are making a good Jaimini Raja Yoga. Leo is the 10th house having his Atamakaraka Moon. So after tough elections  Mr. Stalin is likely to become the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu will be going through Lok Sabha elections for 39 seats and by-elections for assembly’s 22 seats in the months of April-May 2019. This will be the first elections since last 4 decades when people of Tamil Nadu will be voting in a political vacuum created after the demise of AIADMK leader  J. Jayalalithaa and DMK chief M. Karunanidhi. While Jayalalithaa did not allowed anyone to occupy the second position in her party but the DMK chief M.Karunanidhi had made the smart choice by grooming his son M.K. Stalin as his political heir. The Scorpio lagna horoscope of M.K. Stalin has a great Raja Yoga of Sun and Moon which would give him the post of chief minister of Tamil Nadu in the assembly elections of 2021. M.K. Stalin is also likely to lead DMK into a big win along with its alliance Congress in the majority of 39 Lok Sabha seats in  Tamil Nadu.

AIADMK on the other hand is more concern to win by-elections as it is ruling with a wafer thin majority in the assembly. They need to win at least 10 assembly seats out of 22 in the by-elections which will be conducted with the Lok Sabha polls. The horoscope of Tamil Nadu chief minister K. Palaniswamy is not available. The horoscope of O. Panneerselvam, who is now second in command in AIADMK, is also not confirmed. But on the basis of Tamil Nadu’s foundation chart it looks like that somehow the ruling AIADMK will manage to get 10 or more seats in the by-elections to survive its fragile government in the assembly.

Foundation horoscope of Tamil Nadu

In the Tula lagna horoscope of Tamil Nadu the striking feature is an exchange of 4th lord Saturn with 11th lord Sun. It is no surprise that Tamil Nadu has always been ranked high in the list of Indian states by Human Development Index. Tamil Nadu’s chief minister’s visionary leadership during 1954 to 1963 in developing the infrastructure and improving the quality of life of inhabitants had set the high standards of social development. Later M.Karunanidhi , M.G. Ramachandran and J. Jayalalithaa carried on the politics of  social welfare which is often criticized as ‘freebies culture’ by many. The Dravidian parties made sure that every household has TV Set, women were lured with home-appliances, students were tempted with free bicycle, stationary, laptop etc. The cast politics and celebrity hero-worshiping is another prominent feature of Tamil Nadu politics.  Venus as the lagna lord in Tamil Nadu foundation chart has made sure that film star are always welcome in politics. Karunanidhi, M.G. Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa have their roots into Tamil film industry. Now Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth are trying their hand to find a foot hold in the state politics.

I had earlier made a successful prediction of Jayalalithaa’s winning Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2016 which was also published in Modern Astrology magazine and at the website of Hindi News Paper Navbharat Times. Later i had also hinted at the death of Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa’s demise in my article ” The changing connotations of Tamil Nadu Politics” 

The Ashtam Shani Gochar in the horoscope of Tamil Nadu with the Jupiter-Saturn dasha in Vimshottari during April 2016 to October 2018 had brought an enigmatic change in the politics of this state. The death of J.Jayalalithaa ( 5 December 2016) and later Karunanidhi’s illness was happen at the time when Saturn was transiting from Scorpio in the 8th house from the natal Moon of Tamil Nadu state which is in Aries. Jupiter-Saturn dasha was running then both in the 6/8 position has to give a major shock to the politics of this state. Now the Jupiter-Mercury dasha from October 2018 to January 2021 is not indicating the fall of current AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu. Mercury the sub period lord is comfortably placed in the 3rd house giving aspect to the 9th house. Until the transiting Saturn and Jupiter will come into Makar Rashi,  at the 4th house of Tamil Nadu foundation chart,  the AIADMK government will not face major setbacks in the state assembly.

But the Jupiter-Ketu dasha from January 2021 to December 2021 does indicate the change of government in Tamil Nadu which will happen during the assembly elections. DMK led by M.K. Stalin will then get back into power by winning the assembly polls in 2021 in Tamil Nadu. Saturn will be transiting over the natal lagna and 8th lord Venus at close degrees in Capricorn sign. Ketu the sub period lord is in the 12th house of change. In Navamsha the Jupiter is with 8th lord Moon and Ketu is in the 6th house under malefic influence. There will also be some violence during assembly elections in 2021 in Tamil Nadu.

He recently lost his father, who was 5 time chief minister of Tamil Nadu, M.Karunanidhi on 7 August 2018 when he was under the enigmatic Saturn-Venus-Saturn period from April 2018 to October 2018. See the lordship of Saturn here it is the lord of 3^rd house which is 7^th from the 9^th house of father. Earlier in 2014 general elections his party DMK had lost badly when he was under Saturn-Mercury Dasha in Vimshottari. Both Saturn and Mercury are in 6/8 position from each other. The DMK was not been able to win a single seat in 2014 general elections which was its worst performance ever. Later in 2016 assembly elections DMK also lost badly when Stalin was running under Saturn-Venus-Venus period in Vimshottari.

Now Saturn-Venus-Ketu in Vimshottari will be running in the horoscope of Stalin during April-May 2019. Venus as the anter dasha lord is conjoined with 5^th lord Jupiter. Ketu the sub-period lord  is in the 9^th house of luck. Ketu in Navamsa is with 11^th lord Moon. So this time DMK is going to make a surprise comeback. They could win more number of seats than any party in the coming Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu. In Chara Dasa the Pisces-Gemini period is running with Amatayakaraka Mars and Putrakaraka Mercury influencing both sign showing a grand success for Stalin. In year 2021 when assembly elections for Tamil Nadu will happen Stalin would be running under Saturn-Sun and Saturn-Moon in Vimshottari. Sun and Moon as the 10^th and 9^th lord for Scorpio lagan is the best Raja Yoga as per Sage Parashara. So there will be no surprise if M.K. Stalin will become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu in 2021. He will be the key leader in south in the alliance against Narendra Modi in years to come. Stalin has already declared that he accept Rahul Gandhi’s leadership as prime ministerial choice. Stalin has perhaps access the anti-Modi mood in the state and made the decision to alliance his party with Congress eyeing at the assembly elections of 2021.

Stalin is under the maha dasha of 3rd lord Saturn which shows the support from the alliances. Rajinikanth ( 13 December 1950, 00:05 hours at Bangalore, Karnataka) is yet to launch a political party for him to give a serious fight in the assembly elections in 2021. Notice here the position of Moon in the Navamsha and Dashamsha charts of Stalin. The dasha of Saturn-Moon can not disappoint him. M.K. Stalin is the future chief minister of Tamil Nadu as per the verdict of planets.
