Atichari (fast moving) Jupiter in Gemini sign and forecasting trends for South-West Monsoon in India 2025

May 15, 2025 By Sachin Malhotra

As per the classical texts of mundane astrology benefic planets becoming Atichari or fast moving and the malefic planets moving into retrograde motion at the same time can bring obstructions in the rainfall. This year Jupiter will be in Atichari motion or fast moving in Gemini sign. And Saturn would be in retrograde in Pisces sign during a major period of the South-West monsoon season from June to September month. This will adversely affect the rainfall in India as it is highly likely that in the first few days there will be good rainfall due to Mars transit in watery sign Cancer till 7th of June and then slowly the rainfall will start becoming abnormal particularly in the  South Indian states, Gujarat and also in parts of Maharashtra.

In my article ‘Forecasting Trends for the Summer Season in India 2025’ published at page number 43 of Express Star Teller magazine i had mentioned that in North India this year the number of heat wave days will be less during the month of May. The second half of the month of May is likely to bring some light rainfall and there will be timely onset of the South-West monsoon in South India due to good planetary position in the Vrishabha Samkranti i.e. Solar Ingress in Taurus horoscope this year.

Chart 1. Solar Ingress of Taurus

15 May 2025, 00:11:53 at Delhi

Forecasting trends of the South West Monsoon 2025 for India

Jupiter will enter into Gemini sign on the 14th of May just a few hours before when the Sun will enter into this sign on the midnight of 14/15 at 00:11:53 as per the Indian Standard Time. Jupiter will be in the next sign from the Sun which will bring it into accelerated or Atichari motion. This Atichari Jupiter will bring many natural calamities this year particularly during the summer season when  Saturn and Rahu will be in Pisces sign in trine from Mars in Cancer sign.

At the time of Solar Ingress into Taurus (chart 1) the Moon will be in a watery sign Scorpio which will bring heavy pre-monsoon rains in the state of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Mars in cancer will bring some light showers in the central parts of India around the city of Nagpur, Raipur, Nasik, Bhopal etc. Pre-monsoon rains in general will be good in the second half of May in the central parts of India Mars in Cancer will be in trine from Saturn-Rahu in Pisces and the Moon in Scorpio in the solar ingress of Taurus chart.

Summer crops will be favorable for farmers

As per the Sasya Jataka Adhyay of Brihat Samhita if at the time of the Sun’s entry into Taurus there are natural benefic planets in the 2nd and 12th house from the Sun then farmers get good price for the summer crops. The summer crops in India are also known as Kharif crops which are rice, sorghum (jowar), pear millet (bajra), maize, oil seeds and pulses etc. Due to position of Jupiter in the 2nd house from the Sun and Mercury in the 12th the ‘Shubha Kartari’ yoga to the Sun will bring good yields in the summer crops during the year 2025. Farmers will get more productions of millets as Saturn is in Pisces the sign of expansion. Saturn and Rahu are karaka for millets as per Brihat Samhita. The timely pre-monsoon rains will be very helpful for rice and pulses farmers in South India. The productions of coffee and spices will also be good as Venus is exalted in Pisces at the time of Sun’s entry into Taurus sign. This wonderful combination of planets in Vrishabha Samkranti chart will be beneficial for the farmers of South India though it also shows a danger of major cyclone also.

Timely onset of South-West Monsoon foreseen

The normal date for the onset of the South-West monsoon in India is 1st of June. This year the major planet Saturn will be in watery sign Pisces and Mars will also be in watery sign Cancer which are favorable for an early onset of the South-West monsoon in India. On the day of the New Moon on 28th of May the conjunction of the Moon, the Sun and Mercury in Taurus sign will bring very good pre-monsoon rainfall in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and some coastal areas of south Indian states.

Record breaking heat-wave in North India after 6th of June

In the classical texts of astro-meteorology Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Virgo and Sagittarius are dry signs. While Cancer, Capricorn and Pisces are 100% watery signs. Scorpio, Libra and Aquarius also have water content. Among the planets Mars, Saturn, the Sun and Ketu are dry planets. Rahu is windy planet. Jupiter, the Moon, Venus and Mercury are watery planets.

Chart 2. Full Moon horoscope

               11 June 2025, 13:13 at Delhi

Forecasting trends for the summer season 2025

When Mars will enter into dry sign Leo it will bring record breaking heat waves in most of the planes in North India especially Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. Mars in Leo will also bring dryness in Gujarat and parts of central India. There will be some delay in South West monsoon in Raipur, Nagpur and some cities of central India. But the placement of Jupiter and Mercury in Gemini Rashi in the full Moon chart of 11th of June is a good indication for timely rainfall in the state of West Bengal signify by Gemini sign. The state of Bihar and Jharkhand will also get timely onset of South-West monsoon this year.

Ardra Pravesh Chart shows erratic rainfall

The horoscope of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshara  is studied to see the general trends for the South-West monsoon in the entire country. The position of planets in the Rashi and Navamsha is to be taken into consideration as per the rules of astro-meteorology in the Ardra Pravesh chart.

Chart 3. Horoscope of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshatra

22 June 2025, 06:19 a.m. at Delhi

Ardra Pravesh horoscope 2025

Forecasting trends for the South-West monsoon 2025 for India    On the Sunday ruled by the Sun, Krishna Paksha Dwadashi Tithi (12th day of darker half), Bharani Nakshatra, Sukarma Yoga and Kaulava Karna time the Sun will enter into the Ardra Nakshatra this year on the 22nd of June.

In the Ardra Pravesh chart (chart 3) the Gemini lagna is rising which is a dry sign. The Moon is in Aries which is another dry sign. But since we have watery planets Jupiter and Mercury in the lagna so it is good for the rainfall. We have Venus another watery planet with the Moon so it is also good. In Navamsha the watery planet Pisces is rising and Saturn and the Moon aspect the lagna. These are the yoga’s for some erratic rainfall only.

Destruction due to cloud burst in hilly areas

The aspect of transiting Mars on Saturn during the months of June-July may also give destructions due to erratic rainfall in the hilly areas of the country. The state of Andhra Pradesh signified by Pisces sign will get affected by a cyclone in the months of June-July or some major wind storm. Mars from Leo will aspect Saturn in Pisces sign indicate it.

Western India will get less than normal rainfall

The transit Mars will remain in Leo sign from 6th of June to 28th of July which is not good for rainfall in Saurashtra and Marathawada region. So, Gujarat and parts of Maharashtra may get less than normal rainfall in the month of June-July this year.

South India will get erratic rainfall in August-September

During 28th of July to 13th of September Mars will be in Virgo sign. Mars will be in opposition from Saturn which will be in Pisces sign then. This period will bring erratic rainfall in many parts of the country mostly in South India signified by Virgo sign. As per the Koorma Chakra Hasta and Chitra Nakshatra are in South India thus Virgo signify the South India.

Chart 4. Solar Ingress in Cancer

16 July 2025, 17:32 at Delhi

Forecasting trends for the South West Monsoon 2025 for India

At the time of Sun’s entry into Cancer on 16th of July there will be some good rainfall in North Indian states like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. But since Mars and Ketu will be ahead of the Sun-Mercury so rainfall will be less than norma during 16th of July to 15th of August this year. The higher than the normal temperature during June-July in most of the North Indian region will give troubles to the general public this year.

the position of Jupiter in the 12th from the Sun in Atichari motion and the retrograde motion of Saturn will bring erratic rainfall at many places in the country.

क्रूरा वक्रा यदा काले सोम्या: शीघ्रास्तु चागता: ll

अनावृष्टि च दुर्भिक्षं नृपराष्ट्रभयन्करा :  ll ४ ll

{Bhavishya Phala Bhaskara, Graha Yoga Prakranam, Page 28, Stanza number 4}

Translation: If malefic planets (Saturn and Mars) are in retrograde motion and benefic (Jupiter, Venus and Mercury) are in fast moving motion then it brings loss of rainfall, famine and fear for the kings and his subjects.

अतिचारगते जीवे शनो वक्रत्वमागते ll

 न तत्पश्याम तोयं वै यद्वरां धारयिष्यति ll

{Bhavishya Phala Bhaskara, Graha Yoga Prakaranam, Page 28, Stanza number 5}

As per a Hindi classical text Bhavishya Phala Bhaskara if Jupiter is in fast moving motion and Saturn is retrograde in transit then water which holds the earth don’t become visible i.e. it destroys the rainfall during that season.

In the second half of July there could be a cloud burst and landslide tragedy in hilly states of North India.

Mars in Virgo will create an obstruction in rainfall after 28th of July.

The transiting Mars will enter into Virgo sign on the 28th of July which is a dry sign. Virgo signify the Southern peninsular. In the month of August there will be less than normal rainfall in many parts of the South Indian states particularly in Karnataka.

Destruction foresee due to earthquake and landslides

In the month of August around the Full Moon of 9th of August there could be a landslide or a medium range earthquake in hilly areas of North India giving losses of lives and properties. Later a total lunar eclipse on the night of 7/8 September can bring two earthquake measuring 7 or more at Richter scale in the areas of North India, Pakistan and Afghanistan Hindu Kush region.

So, overall, the rainfall during the south-west monsoon shall be 90 to 95% of the long period average. The states of Bihar, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka may get less than normal rainfall this year. During 9th of July to 30th of August there will be less than normal rainfall in most parts of the country this year. In the month of September there will be dryness and less rainfall in southern peninsular, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka region.

Horoscope of New Moon of 6th of July 2024 and Danger of Flood

July 3, 2024 By Sachin Malhotra

The South West monsoon in Kerala had arrived on the 30th of May this year. In the June issue of the Express Star Teller at page number 33 paragraph number 2 in the article ‘Southwest Monsoon 2024’ a prediction of an Early onset of monsoon over Kerala was made by me which came out correct. However, the rainfall in the month of June is 11% deficient. The state of Kerala (-25%) and coastal Karnataka (-14%) has received less rainfall. Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh has also received less rainfall in the month of June. In the month of July we expect more than normal rainfall due to good placement of planets in the New Moon horoscope (6th of July 2024) and also in the Solar Ingress of Cancer chart (16th of July 2024). In my article “Forecasting Trends for the South West Monsoon for India in 2024” posted on the 31st of May i had forecast an early onset of monsoon in Delhi-NCR on the 28th and 29th of June. This prediction also came out correct as “Heavy rainfall pounded Delhi on the 28th of June morning as monsoon landed earlier than expected by Indian Meteorological Department.” {Link https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/Delhi/heavy-rains-pound-delhi-as-monsoon-lands-5-dead-waterlogging-traffic-snarls-add-to-chaos/article68347167.ece}

Forecasting Trends for the South West Monsoon 2024

Now the transiting Jupiter from Taurus sign is behind the Sun which as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar is a yoga for very good rainfall. Also, Venus is about to come into Cancer sign and join Mercury which is another very good Yoga for the rainfall. This astrological phenomena will bring very heavy rainfall in the North and North-West Part of India from the 6th of July Anavasya.

But the Saturn will be retrograde in Aquarius and Jupiter will be in fast moving motion from Taurus sign. The retrogression of Saturn and the fast moving motion of Jupiter during the monsoon season is a yoga for erratic rainfall as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskara. So, during the month of July there will be excess rainfall in North India, Western Parts of India and also in Punjab Province of Pakistan. But many other places of the Indian sub-continent will receive less than normal rainfall which would be a concern.

Mars in Kritika Nakshatra and Danger for Ayodhya

From the 12th of July to 28th of July Mars will remain in Kritika Nakshatra.

The holy city of Ayodhya is ruled by Kritika Nakshatra as per the Avakahada Chakra. Recently on the 26th and 27th of June the per-monsoon rains in Ayodhya witnessed the collapse of newly-build infrastructure, water logging and inundation of streets were also in news. On the 27th of June the Moon and Saturn were in Purva Bhadrapada Nakshtra giving Vedha to the Kritika Nakshatra ruled by Ayodhya. Now Mars is about to enter Kritika Nakshatra in the second week of July only.

More rains will come in the second week of July in the eastern and central parts of UP affecting Ayodhya ruled by Kritika Nakshatra and Varanasi ruled by Rohini Nakshatra as per Avakahada Chakra. Mars transiting in Kritika Nakshtra and Jupiter in Rohini will bring water logging and flood like conditions in Ayodhya and Varanasi region. In Nakshatra Sangatta Chakra Mars is in Kritika Nakshatra on the 10th of July is getting Vedha from Saturn transiting in Purvabhadra Pada Nakshtra. In the second fortnight of July this Veda will continue and there will be disturbances in the central Uttar Pradesh area and also in Ayodhya region.

Mars in Rohini Nakshatra and Danger of an Earthquake

The transiting Mars will be in Rohini Nakshatra from 26th of July to 10th of August this year. This period shows a danger of an earthquake as Mars will be in Rohini along with Jupiter and these two major planets will be in Kendra from retrograde Saturn which is a yoga for an earthquake. In the hilly areas of India and Pakistan there will be a danger from destruction of lives and property during this period of Mars transit from Rohini and also around the Full Moon of 20th of August when an earthquake may also come in the Norther Parts of India and Punjab Province of Pakistan.

Forecasting Trends for the South-West Monsoon 2022 for India

May 7, 2022 By Sachin Malhotra

In the study of astro-meteorolgoy the transit of planets with respect to Sun is the most important in forecasting rain. The classical text of Medini Jyotish like Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar has given scores of planetary combinations of good rain, scarcity of rain and famine. The transit of malefic planets ahead of Sun is consider to be an obstruction to the rain while the transit of benefic planets (Jupiter, Venus and Mercury) ahead of Sun or behind the Sun are good for the rain in general. Apart from this we also consider the ‘Sun Spot’ cycle for forecasting general weather trends. Since last two years the solar activity has been very low which is one of the reason for good rainfall in the Indian sub-continent during South-West Monsoon season. This year in 2022 the horoscope of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshatra and other planetary combination is indicating an excess rainfall during the South-West Monsoon season (June to September) in India and an early onset of the monsoon rains.

Forecasting trends for South-West Monsoon season 2022

Forecasting trends for South-West Monsoon season 2022

At the time of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshatra the day is Wednesday and Nakshatra is Revati which is very auspicious. But tithi is Krishna Navami (Rikta Tithi) and it will be around mid day (at 11 hours and 42 minutes) when Sun will enter into Ardra Nakshatra which is not considered auspicious as per classical texts. If Sun enter into Ardra Nakshatra at the night time then it is more conducive for the rains. So there will be lots of damage to the crops due to erratic rainfall this year. Noticeable point here is that there is no malefic planet ahead of the Sun so Ardra Pravesh chart for 2022 has no major yoga for obstruction in rains.

{Hindi} इस साल खूब बरसेगा मानसून, जाने आप के शहर में कब होगी बारिश !

Ardra Pravesh Chart shows excess rainfall in year 2022 for India

Moon in the 100% watery sign Pisces along with Mars and Jupiter is hemmed between Saturn and Rahu on either side of it, which is a yoga for some major destruction due to erratic rains. In Navamsha Moon is in watery sign Capricorn and aspect the 8th house. The influences  of 8th house in Ardra Pravesh Kundali indicate major deaths and loss of properties due to cloud burst and extremely heavy rainfalls. The overall rainfall will be higher than the normal and there shall be loss of lives due to it particularly in the months of  July and August in the Northern and central parts of India. The states of Andra Pradesh and Telangana are also vulnerable for losses of lives due to flood as in Ardra Pravesh chart Moon is in Revati Nakshatra which signify these areas.

The Delhi-NCR will get monsoon rains before 1st of July which is the official date for the onset of south-west monsoon in this region.

Early onset of South-West Monsoon 2022 foreseen

As per the meteorological department of India the South-West monsoon normally enters into Kerala on the 1st of June every year. In astrology we study the position of planets in lunar horoscope to forecast the day when South-West monsoon would reach at the coastal areas of Kerala. There will be a total lunar eclipse exactly a fortnight before the official date of entry of South West Monsoon which though will not be visible in India but the planetary position at that time is indicating some major meteorological disturbances.

Total Lunar Eclipse (Not Visible In India)

16 May 2022, 09:44 hours at Delhi

Forecasting Trends for South-West monsoon in India

In the horoscope of total lunar eclipse of 16 May,  Moon is in watery sign Scorpio getting aspects of Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter indicate some major cyclones in the next 15 days of this total lunar eclipse. Since this eclipse will be visible in entire South America so there could be some earthquake and cyclone which will bring unseasonal rain in that part of the world. In India the South-West monsoon clouds will pick-up speed and there shall be an early onset of rain in the southern peninsular especially in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the last week of May due to some cyclone storm.

The South-West Monsoon clouds can burst open over the coastal areas of Kerala in the last week of May instead of their official onset date of 1st of June.

In Navamsha of the Total Lunar Eclipse of 16 May , Moon is in Cancer sign in the lagan  in opposition with Sun and Venus in Capricorn sign. In astro-meteorology Cancer, Capricorn, Scorpio and Pisces are watery sign. We have lots of planets in these signs in Rashi and Navamsha of Total lunar eclipse of 16 May which will surely bring an early onset of South-West Monsoon in many parts of India this year.

Raipur, Mumbai and Central India will get timely monsoon rains

At the time of  New Moon  of 30 May 2022 at 17:00 hours at Delhi there is a very interesting conjunction of Mars and Jupiter in Pisces sign. As per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar Mars and Jupiter conjunction brings obstruction in the rain but here we are getting this conjunction in Pisces which is a watery sign. Moon is Vargottama along with Sun in Taurus sign which is an earthy sign. This yoga can bring obstruction in the rains during the first fortnight of June,  but only in some areas of Southern  States. Mumbai will get monsoon on time around 10th of June, Raipur in Chhattisgarh will also get timely onset of monsoon around 15th of June but some obstruction may come for North Eastern states as Rahu is in Aries getting the aspect of Saturn from Aquarius which can obstruct rain in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh etc.

Horoscope of Sun’s entry into Cancer

Forecasting Trends for South-West Monsoon 2022

There will be extremely heavy rains in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and some parts of Rajasthan after Sun’s entry into Cancer sign on 16th of July 2022. At the time of Sun’s entry into Cancer watery sign Pisces is rising with Jupiter in the lagan. Sun is getting aspect of Saturn from watery sign Capricorn. Mars, Saturn and Jupiter all three aspect Sun which is in Cancer making a yoga for destruction of heavy rains in Northern and Central parts of India. Cancer sign specifically signify the central parts of India which includes Madhya Pradesh, Northern Maharashtra and some parts of Chhattisgarh.

There will be so much of rains in the month of July and first fortnight of August that people in many parts of India would start praying to the almighty for getting relief from the flood situation. The areas at the banks of river Ganga, Yamuna, Gandak, Kausi will get inundated due to extremely heavy rainfall between 15th of July to 15th of August 2022.

Horoscope of New Moon

27 August 2022, 13 hours and 47 minutes  at Delhi

Forecasting Trends for the South-West Monsoon 2022

The New Moon chart of 27th of August has three  very interesting combinations for unseasonal rainfall. Jupiter in Pisces is getting aspect of Mercury from Virgo which will bring very good rainfall particularly in all the south Indian states which will surprise many meteorologist. Venus would be in Cancer in mutual aspect with Saturn in Capricorn which is also a very good yoga for excess rainfall. Then we have Sun hemmed between Mercury and Venus which as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar can bring a break between heavy rainfall days. So in the fortnight starting from 27th of August there shall be very erratic rainfall which will bring flood in many areas of North India and South India while in many parts there will be break in the rainfall for few days.

Overall the South-West monsoon 2022 indicate a year of excess rainfall, losses of lives and properties due to flood and cloud burst. The monsoon will have an early onset in most parts of the country and there shall be extremely heavy rainfall during 15th of July to the 30th of August this year which will bring the situation of flood in many parts of the country including North and Central India. Jupiter in Pisces will especially known to bring flood in the river Yamuna and  Ganga in North India and also in parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Planets and Forecasting South-West Monsoon 2021

May 23, 2021 By Sachin Malhotra

Mars will be transiting ahead of the Sun during  almost entire South-West monsoon season (June to September) this year. As per classical text of astro-meteorology this is a yoga for an  erratic rainfall along with some obstruction in the rain in between. Although till 20th of July there shall be good rainfalls as Mars will soon enter into Cancer on the 4th of June and will remain in this ‘full watery sign’ for almost one and half month. But afterwards there are possibilities of dry periods from the 20th of July onward in many parts of the country. Saturn transiting through Shravana Nakshatra in retrograde motion and Rahu’s transit from Rohini are other two indications of very erratic rainfall with some long dry periods in between and flood in some parts of the country .  All these yoga’s combine are forecasting  a very erratic South-West monsoon 2021 season with uneven distribution of rains as per both time and space.

The rainfall could be around 90% to 95%  of the long period average with lots of abnormal behaviour like concentrated heavy rain fall on small number of days at some areas and then long period of dryness which will give lots of troubles to the farmers during the sowing of seeds in the  Kharif season (monsoon crops).

Why so many cyclones and unseasonal rainfall in May 2021 ?

After cyclone Tauktae bring rainfall in almost entire South, North and Western parts of the country now there is a danger of another cyclone Yaas to hit the bay of Bengal next week as per the news report. The unseasonal rainfall in the month of May has already broken the record of 120 years in Delhi. Now around the upcoming lunar eclipse of 26 May another cyclone may create havoc in the Eastern Part of the country where this lunar eclipse will be visible. The state of Orissa, West Bengal and Assam can receive heavy rainfall immediately after this lunar eclipse of 26 May.

Sun enters into Taurus horoscope

14 May 2021, 23:37 hours at Delhi

Sun enters into Taurus chart 2021

cyclone in May 2021 forecast

Sun, Rahu and Mercury are know to bring cyclone storms. In the solar ingress horoscope of Taurus Sun, Rahu, Mercury and Venus are conjoined. In Navamsha chart Mercury, Jupiter, Sun and Mars are in watery which indicate good rainfall. This bring lots of unseasonal rains in the second fortnight of May and temperature is also below normal for the season. But these astro-meteorological disturbances are not a good indicator for  the south-west monsoon and also for the country. If the lunar month of ‘Jyeshtha’, which is from 27th of May to 24th of June, does not get high temperature then south-west monsoon is likely to bring less rain in North and central parts of the country in its last phase i.e. during  August and September months.

Why Sun’s entry into Taurus horoscope is so important ?

In Medini Jyotish (mundane astrology) there is an ancient tradition of forecasting harvest on the basis of solar ingress charts. The ‘kharif’ or Monsoon crops are cultivated around May-June in India, depending upon region, and are harvested during last week of September or October. As per Brihat Samhita, a 5th century AD classical text of Medini Jyotish, the horoscope cast at the time of Sun’s entry into Taurus (Vrishabha) sign gives indications about the harvest of crops which are sown during monsoon season. Sun enters into Taurus sign every year in the mid of May which is the time when many South-Indian states are under pre-monsoon rains. Rice, Maize and Cotton are major Kharif crops. In the South Indian states these crops are sown during May while in Western and Central India during June when they gets rain. In North the sowing season comes in early July.

As per Brihat Samhita’s ‘Sashya Jataka Adhyay’ chapter 39,  if there are benefic planets like Jupiter, Venus and Mercury in Kendra i.e. square of Sun at the time of its entry into Taurus sign, then the Kharif crops grows rapidly after sowing. Similarly the text says that if Sun has benefic planets on its either side or Sun gets the aspect of benefic planets then also the Kharif harvest will be good for the farmers. However, if there are malefic planets like Mars, Saturn, Rahu or Ketu in Kendra (square) position from Sun or they are associated with Sun then the crops may get damaged in some areas due to erratic rainfall and pests. Since last two years India has received bountiful of rains during South-West monsoon season and farmers has enjoyed good harvest. But this year there could be some erratic rainfall as malefic planet Mars is ahead of Sun in the solar ingress of Taurus chart.

Sun has  enter into Taurus on 14th of May this year at 23:37 hours IST (Indian Standard Time). The horoscope for Sun’s entry into Taurus is cast by taking place as Delhi which is capital of India. As we can see here Sun is associated with two benefic planets which are Mercury and Venus. But it is also in conjunction with a malefic Rahu. So there shall be some erratic rainfall this year. Jupiter, the most auspicious planet, is in the 10th house from Sun which is a good Kendra (square) position. So despite some erratic rainfall the Kharif harvest shall be very good. The South-West monsoon will strike the coastal areas of Kerala around 1st of June and it will give good rainfall during 3rd of June to 20th of July as Mars would then be transiting in Cancer sign which is a 100% watery Rashi. There shall be bountiful of rains in Southern States like Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Telangana. In Maharashtra and parts of central India there will be good rains in the last fortnight of June and in early July. So farmers in these areas will be able to do the sowing of seeds on time. But in Northern states there could be some troubles to the farmers as after 20th of July Mars will move into a dry sign Leo and it will be ahead of Sun in transit. So some deficient rains in Northern states like UP, Bihar, Punjab, and Haryana etc. may give some troubles to the farmers. Overall the production during the Kharif season will be good as at the time of Sun’s entry into Taurus there are benefic planets Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in Kendra from it.

Horoscope of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshtra in 2021

Now see the horoscope of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshatra which is given here. Gemini lagna is rising with Sun and Venus placed in it and Jupiter giving aspect to it. Jupiter’s aspect on the lagna, Sun and Moon will ensure that the rainfall will be normal i.e. around 90%  to 95% of the long period average. But Mars ahead of Sun is a classical combination of erratic behaviour of monsoon rains as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar. In Navamsha of the Ardra Pravesh chart Sun and Jupiter are in the lagan in mutual aspect with Moon, Saturn and Venus which also indicate some erratic rainfalls.

Sun enter into Ardra Nakshtra horoscope

Ardra Pravesh Kundali 2021

Mars and Saturn at the 1/7 axis during the entire month of June will give lots of destruction to crops because of some erratic rainfall. In the coastal areas there will be more than normal rainfall while in the plains there will be below average rains. The South-West monsoon will get delayed in reaching North and Western part of the country as the transit of retrograde Saturn in Capricorn shows deficient rainfall in these areas. The total cumulative rain fall in the South and Eastern part of the country will be more as compare to the North and Western parts. In the month of June and July there will be decent rainfall but in August and September there could be less than normal rainfall due to Mars transit from Leo and Virgo signs.

Horoscope of Lunar Eclipse of 26 May 2021

Lunar Eclipse of 26 May 2021

Now see this horoscope of lunar eclipse of 26th of May 2021 which will be visible in some parts of North-Eastern state of India. An eclipse just before the onset time of the south-west monsoon can bring strong meteorological disturbances which will make rainfall very erratic right from the beginning. In the first week of June coastal areas of Kerala and Tamil Nadu will get decent rainfall but in the interiors there will be deficient rains. Mars is ahead of Sun which is a classical yoga for disruption in the rainfall. South-West monsoon may reach late in Mumbai where the normal date for its onset is 10th of June. In Raipur, Bhopal, Nagpur, Nasik etc. it will also reach late. The central India may not get sufficient rainfall till the end of June.
