On the upcoming Ashwin Amavasya, on Saturday, October 14, from 8:34 PM to 2:35 AM Indian Standard  time, a long solar eclipse will be visible in large parts of North and South America. This annular solar eclipse will have a long duration, which is  a very alarming planetary indication. In the horoscope of the annual solar eclipse of 14th of October 2023, due to the influence of the major malefic planets (Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu) on the auspicious Jupiter, it makes this solar eclipse the most unique among the last few major eclipses since December 2019. At the time of this solar eclipse, the Sun will be in Virgo on the New Moon Day. And there will be a conjunction of Mercury with the Moon in Virgo. According to Brihat Samhita, the fifth century treatise written by Varaahamihir, the eclipse in Virgo will bring harm to crops, poets, scholars, writers, singers, stonemasons and the country of Tripura, the major paddy producing states. At the time of solar eclipse of 14th of October , the effect of Mercury on the Sun and the Moon is inauspicious for ghee, honey, oil and kings as per the Brihat Samhita. Hence, this eclipse will reduce rainfall and increase inflation.

Although the total solar eclipse that will occur on the coming 20th April will not be visible in India and its Sutak (religious ritual)  will not be observed, but since Rahu-Ketu (nodes)  are making connections with  some major planets and constellations during the time  of this eclipse, so  its general effects should  be assessed carefully on the country and the world at large. This solar eclipse, which will occur on the April 20, will be visible in the countries of South Pacific Ocean like Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Philippines and Papua New Guinea. According to Indian time, this eclipse will start in these countries at 7:05 am  to 12.39 hours in the afternoon. This eclipse will be visible on the weekday Thursday when   Sun and Moon will be  staying in Ashwini Nakshatra. Since Ashwini Nakshatra is ruled by  Ketu so cases of   Corona virus are expected to  spread in some countries of South-East Asia including India and Australia. The cases will start increasing again but the situation will remain under control. As per the horoscope of Solar Eclipse of 20th of April there is also a concern for some disease related with virus.

  At the time of eclipse, Saturn will be transiting in Shatabhisha Nakshatra, Mars in Ardra Nakshatra and Ketu in Swati Nakshatra. The Shatabhisha, Ardra and Swati are all Nakshatras ruled by  Rahu only. Therefore, at the time of this eclipse, total 6 planets are in the Nakshatras of Rahu-Ketu or are getting under their influence. Notice the conjunction of Sun, Moon and Mercury with Rahu in fiery sign Aries. So due to these directional influences the  cases of corona virus are sure to increase and also any other virus or bacteria related   disease can also arise which can cause trouble in the next few months.

A New Variant of COVID Foreseen

Thus, possibility of a new variant of COVID-19 spreading into many parts of the world can’t be ruled out. Since sign Aries is involve in it so this new variant of COVID may emerge from countries like Japan and England which are ruled by this sign as per Ptolemy the father of western astrology. The South-East Asia , where this eclipse would be visible, is also venerable to some natural calamities.

The 5th aspect of Jupiter from Pisces to the sign Cancer (signifying lungs) is helpful and so is the presence of Venus in Taurus sign. Thus, the new variant of COVID-19 coming in April-May 2023 may not show any major bad effects on human as there was in the early years of this Pandemic.

It is worth noting here that on the next  day of this solar eclipse the transiting Jupiter  will leave Pisces sign and enter Ashwini Nakshatra, which is Ketu’s Nakshatra, in Aries Sign . This  transit of Jupiter into Aries on the next days of eclipse can bring sudden unseasonal rains, thunderstorms and bacterial diseases spread within next few days. There will be big political and economic upheaval  in Pakistan as this  eclipse is falling in Aries which is the birth ascendant of our neighboring country Pakistan.

This eclipse falling in Aries sign can bring some major political upheaval in Pakistan in which Shahbaz Sharif’s government will be in trouble and there will be a state of emergency in the country. The  Vimshottari Dasha of Venus and Anter Dasha of Saturn is  running in the horoscope of Pakistan which is indicating a possibility  of political violence and disturbance in the country. The period of Venus-Saturn-Rahu from 1 February 2023 to 25 July 2023 will be most critical for economy of Pakistan. If we study this eclipse  in the context of India then its effect in  Aries sign , which is the 12th house of losses in the foundation horoscope of India given above, shows some very disturbing features. At the time of eclipse Mars in Mercury’s sign in Gemini and Mercury in Mars’s sign in Aries will be  creating an inauspicious Rashi exchange for India as it will be an exchange of houses between 12th and 2nd respectively.  A big economic scam, whose strings connected abroad, is creating chances to get exposed. As per Brihat Samhita an eclipse in Aries gives trouble to the people in ‘Panchal’ (Punjab), Kalinga (Odisha), Shursen (Mathura and Western UP), gold smiths, police officers, soldiers, thieves, dacoit’s etc. The prices of gold signified  by Aries sign may also rise after this eclipse.

After this eclipse, there are chances of a change of power in Turkey. Just before the elections in Turkey in the month of May this  eclipse is falling in the 4th house Aries of the Capricorn lagna horoscope of   Tayyab Erdogan. Partial Solar Eclipse of 25th of October 2022- What it foretells ?

The partial  solar eclipse on October 25th  will be the last solar eclipse of the year, which will occur  in the Swati constellation in Libra sign on the Amavasya of Kartik  lunar month on Tuesday. According to the ‘Rahu-Chaar- Adhyay’  of Brihat Samhita, if there is an eclipse in Libra, then people will suffer in Ujjain and its adjoining region (currently Madhya Pradesh), merchant class will face losses , Maru and Kutch region (present-day Gujarat, Rajasthan and Sindh province in Pakistan) will be badly affected. As per my understanding , immediately after this solar eclipse, the action of government agencies may give some trouble to the business class and the wealthy people in India. The prices of items falling under Libra zodiac sign  like urad, rajma, barley, wheat, mustard etc. will see a rise. This partial  solar eclipse will start at 2:29 pm on the 25th of October and will end at 6.15 pm as per Indian standard  time . Apart from India, this eclipse is mostly visible in Europe, Middle East Asia and North Africa and  West Asia. It  will also be visible in the Indian Ocean

War like  situation in Europe and  violent protests in Iran foreseen

Within a few days of the solar eclipse, the ongoing war in Russia and Ukraine can take a terrible form. At the time of the eclipse, due to the combination of Sun and Moon in Libra with Ketu and Venus there, the bad effects  of this eclipse will be felt  more in the west direction. Due to the tenth aspect of Saturn transiting from Capricorn at the eclipse point  on the Sun and the Moon  there is a possibility of famine i.e. shortage of food grains and war like situation in Europe. There may be some violent incidents in some parts of Iran. By afflicting the fourth house of Cancer ascendant in Iran, this solar eclipse can intensify  the ongoing protests of women in Iran against Hijab and fundamentalist rule of  Khamenei government.

Crime against women will increase

At the time of eclipse, Venus being completely combust  from the Sun and suffering from the tenth aspect of Saturn is making the astrological yoga to bring  the cruelest crime against women, whose special effect will be seen in Iran, Pakistan and western parts of India.  The radical Islamist government in Iran will be forced to face severe sanctions and criticism from the international community after its possible  military action against the women agitators.

Balance of Dasha of Moon; 7 Years 7 Months 3 Days 

Vimshottari Dasha of Jupiter and anter Dasha of Sun is currently in operation in the Cancer lagna horoscope of Iran Republic. Since last month Anti-Hijab protests  have given major setbacks to Khomeini  government in Iran which was under pressure since COVID-19 pandemic crisis in 2020. Jupiter-Sun-Saturn is running in Iran Republic’s horoscope from 3 October 2022 18 November 2022. Jupiter as the 9th lord in the lagna astrologically explain Iran’s status as theocratic religious state. The anter dasha lord Sun is in the 9th house which is in conjunction with 3rd and 12th lord Mercury showing social movement in the country. The conjunction of 5th and 10th lord Mars along with Sun in the 9th house is getting auspicious aspect of Jupiter from the lagna which will give success to Iranian women in their Anti Hijab protests. Iranian government will be forced to become more liberals like Saudi Arabia has done in recent years. This will happen mainly when transiting Saturn will reach Aquarius,  in the 8th house of their foundation horoscope and the lagna of Navamsha chart of Iran, after 17th of January 2023. Now come back to the Eclipse horoscope again. Pisces Ascendant is rising in the horoscope formed at the time of eclipse, in which the aspect  of Mercury and Saturn on retrograde Jupiter is showing trouble on some big personalities due to new economic policies of the government and action in ‘money laundering’ cases of government agencies. This eclipse, which is taking place on Tuesday, the next day of Deepawali, is a sign of any major action of the government against corruption. Sun, Moon, Ketu and Venus are in the 8th house of partial solar eclipse are getting the aspect of 12th and 11th lord Saturn which also indicate some major troubles in the country for famous persons.

Heavy Rainfall foreseen in Southern Parts of India 

At the time of partial solar eclipse of 25 October 2022 there will be some rainfall activity in Southern Peninsular.

In the horoscope of Partial solar eclipse Jupiter is in opposition with Mercury which is a good yoga for rainfall. Interesting to note here is that there is no malefic planet ahead of Sun which could be an obstruction  to rain. A combust Venus is getting aspect of Saturn which shows some flood like situation in some parts of Sothern states especially in Tamil Nadu’s capital Chennai.
