The coming solar eclipse of 26th of December 2019 is very unique in terms of planetary position. At the time of this eclipse 5 planets Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn will be conjoined with shadow planet Ketu (Moon’s south node). In Hindu Astrology Rahu and Ketu are shadow planets who affects Sun and Moon at the time of an eclipse. Interestingly on the 5th of February 1962 there was a solar eclipse in Capricorn (Makar Rashi) when all the 7 planets were with Ketu. The effects of that eclipse was tremendous on world politics; Cuba Missile Crisis between USA and Soviet Union almost led these nations at the brink of war. In 1962 India had to suffer a humiliating defeat by China in a major war. Now it is almost after 58 years such big solar eclipse is occurring which is likely to have a deep impact on the world politics and also on weather. The solar eclipse of 26th of December 2019 can put India and Pakistan at loggerhead in Kashmir. It can also bring at least two earthquakes; One in the Indian sub-continent and other in south-East Asia.

Moola Nakshatra in Koorma Chakra shows west direction so an earthquake in the western part of India is possible. The Sagittarius also shows east direction which also shows a danger of tremors. It has been observed that transit of Saturn-Jupiter in fiery signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) generally bring economic and food price crisis around the world. At the time of 2007-2008 global economic and food price crisis the Saturn was in Leo and Jupiter was in Sagittarius. Now this coming solar eclipse of 26^th of December 2019 indicate the same kind of crisis for world economy and our food security.

Extreme cold wave foreseen from last week of December 2019

At the time of solar eclipse of 26^th of December there will be a conjunction of five planets in one sign which is a yoga for extreme weather disturbances. Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn would be in Sagittarius then. Mars will enter into watery sign Scorpio on the day of eclipse which will bring extremely heavy snow falls and avalanche in the Himalayan region of India. A fast moving cold wave from the 26^th of December onward will break the records of many decades of past winter seasons not only in India but in many other countries. There will also be some untimely rainfall in the Northern states like Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh around the time of solar eclipse of 26^th of December.

At the time of solar eclipse Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, three major planets, will be in watery Navamshas. Mars and Jupiter are in Cancer sign in Navamsha. Saturn is in the Navamsha of Scorpio a full watery sign. In the Rashi chart Mars is in Scorpio and Venus is in Capricorn which is also considered a semi-watery sign in astro-meteorology. This again confirm the possibility of extremely heavy snowfall and blizzard immediately after the solar eclipse.

The cold wave will affect the most in eastern part of the world with countries like China, Japan, South and North Korea coming under the grip of record breaking cold wave. In the northern hemisphere the Australia will witness extremely hot summer with temperature crossing 48 degree Celsius mark on many occasions.

Two earthquakes foreseen after the solar eclipse of 26th of December 2019

At the time of this solar eclipse Sun and Moon are in airy Navamsha Gemini. There is a conjunction of major planets Saturn and Jupiter in Rashi chart. The luminaries in airy or earthy Navamsha and major planets in conjunction can give earthquake around the time of an eclipse. Moon and Mercury are also in the same Nakshtra in superior conjunction which also indicate a strong earthquake which could be more than 7.1 at rector scale giving tremors in large part of Indian sub-continent.

If we see the ‘Koorma Chakra’ cast at the time of solar eclipse we can find most of the planets placed in the west and north direction. So a strong earthquake and cyclone can come around the solar eclipse of 26^th of December in the North and/or West direction which would give losses to lives and properties at very large scale.

Apart from this the east direction indicated by fiery sign Sagittarius also shows a danger of earthquake in Assam, Japan and China during the fortnight starting from 26^th of December 2019.

Eclipse may affect health of these famous personalities

As per Brihat Samhita an eclipse in Dhanu Rashi (Sagittarius sign) affect the most to ministers, rulers of countries, army personals, doctors, sports persons, weapon merchants, technical professionals and big merchants. In the next 6 months these people are likely to get affected worst. Among the Indian politicians Rahu Gandhi having his natal Moon in Sagittarius may face court cases, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh with his Dhanu lagna horoscope and Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik having his Moon in Gemini will see serious health troubles. The Queen Elizabeth II of England born in Dhanu lagna may leave her throng in the next year due to the affect of this big solar eclipse. Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama is likely to face serious health issues in next 6 months as he was born in Gemini lagna with this solar eclipse affecting his 7th house along with malefic Saturn-Mars Vimshottari dasha in operation.

West Bengal signifies by Gemini sign, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand signifies by Sagittarius sign and Nepal also will get affected badly by some natural calamity after this solar eclipse. Since at the time of this solar eclipse Jupiter is in own sign so the demand for gold will be low and so is its price. But because of Saturn and Sun in fiery sign there will be rise in the prices of food grains. Planets and Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2019

In an interesting political development BJP has won the Karnataka by-elections in the second week of December recovering from the humiliation it faced in Maharashtra recently. BJP in its Mithuna lagna horoscope is under an enigmatic Moon-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari and a very big solar eclipse falling at the 7th house from its lagna is showing some concerns. The assembly elections in Jharkhand State are underway, where BJP is power, these days and its results are going to be declared on the 23rd of December just 3 days before a big solar eclipse. The grand conjunction of Saturn-Jupiter-Ketu in Sagittarius and a big solar eclipse over it can give a set back to BJP in Jharkhand assembly elections about which i wrote recently for Navbharat Times Hindi News Paper website.

The state of Jharkhand was formed on 15th of November 2000 mid night at Ranchi (85 E 20′ and 23 N 21′) when Leo lagna was rising and Moon was in Gemini sign. The coming solar eclipse of 26th of December will fall right at the 7th house of Jharkhand State’s natal Moon and also on the 7th house of the BJP”s ascendant. Interestingly BJP’s Janma lagna is Gemini and Jharkhand State’s Moon sign is also Gemini. It is no surprise that in the last 19 years this state was ruled by BJP most of the time except for brief periods when Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s founder Shibu Soren had become chief minister thrice and his son Hemant Soren had was also been chief minister for a brief period.

In the foundation horoscope of Jharkhand State the 10th lord Venus is along with malefic Ketu and is in mutual aspect with 12th lord Moon showing why this that has so many political disturbances ever since its formation. Rahu in political astrology signifies manipulations and scandals. It is only the current chief minister Mr. Raghubar Das who has been able to complete the tenure of 5 years. The current BJP government of Raghubar Das may not return to power despite BJP becoming the single largest part in the assembly elections. The 7th house in mundane astrology signifies opposition which is now becoming activated as sub period of 7th lord Saturn is starting soon. Saturn is very strong in Navamsha chart where it is in the 10th house of power.

Solar Eclipse of 26th of December can bring change in the government in Jharkhand State. The eclipse falling at Sagittarius where natal 10th lord Venus of Jharkhand State is placed is an indication of the change in regime.

The horoscope of current chief minister Raghubar Das is not available but as per the planetary position on his date of birth (3 May 1955) he has Kanya Rashi. He is under difficult Saturn-Mars dasha in Vimshottari which can give a set-back to him. His opponent Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s Hemant Soren has also Kanya Rashi (born 10 August 1975) and he is under Jupiter-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari. It will not be a surprise if a Maharashtra like situation be emerged in Jharkhand State. In that case Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s Hemant Soren can become the chief minister with the help of Congress and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha’s Babu Lal Marandi.

Solar Minimum and Forecasting Trends for Winter Season 2019-2020

It was in the 6th century AD when great Indian astrologer and astronomer Varahamihira had discuss about Sun Spots in his monumental work ‘Brihat Samhita’. Varahamihira had used the word ‘Tamas-Keelak’ for the spots appearing on Sun and explained them in length in his work Brihat Samhita’s chapter number 3 ‘Aditya-Chaar-Adhayaa’ (Transit of Sun). Interestingly Indian astrologer’s knew about Sun Spots and its effects on weather when the westerners didn’t even had learned if the Earth revolves around the Sun or not. The current solar minimum along with the coming solar eclipse of 26th of December is indicating a very cold and rainy winter season ahead. It has been observed that during the years of low Sun Spot activity Europe and USA experience rainy and damp winter season. The low Sun Spot activity can also bring very misty, rainy and cold winter season in the Indian sub-continent this time.

But we must take note of it that Sun Spot activity and Eclipses plays the role of a catalyst. We should not make predictions only on the basis of occurring of low or higher Sun Spot activity or Eclipses for say. After a month long political upheavals in Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray took oath of the chief minister of state in a grand ceremony. The newly formed alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress is looking complicated but for the moment it has bruised BJP’s ego which now have lost one more big state. Last year in December BJP lost power in Rajasthan, Chattishgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Since then in state elections it is the biggest set back for them as Maharashtra is a cash rich industrial state. But BJP being the single largest party here must be hoping a Karnataka like comeback. The oath taking horoscope of Uddhav Thackeray has a ‘Balarishta’ Yoga which will not allow this government to complete its tenure and this alliance may fall in less than 2 years as per my humble astrological understanding.

In the oath taking horoscope of Uddhav Thackeray all the planets are in 6th ,7th and 8th houses which is inauspicious. The 6th house signifies quarrels and disputes, 7th house in a oath taking chart is of your opposition party and 8th house is political scandal and longevity of the government.

The lagna lord Venus in the 8th house is not very helpful as it is in close conjunction with 3rd lord Moon and 8th lord Jupiter. For Vrishabha lagna Moon and Jupiter are functional malefic planets. So Uddhav Thackeray will get instant fame because of some favorable new policies for Maharashtra farmers welfare.

But then there are some ‘Arishta Yoga’s such as Moon falling in the 12th house with Rahu getting the bad aspect of 3rd lord and 8th lord Mars. In a politician’s chart the 3rd house signifies coalition partners which are weaker than his party and the 11th house signifies coalition partners which are stronger than him. The 7th house is the opposition party from whom you face challenges. In Uddhav Thackeray’s case it is the dasha of Jupiter-Ketu in Vimshottari from 21st of November 2019 to 27 October 2020. Jupiter is the lord of 7th (war and opposition) and 4th (throne of ruler) lord is along with 5th (minister post) and 6th (quarrels) lord Saturn. Jupiter is getting the aspect of 3rd and 8th lord Mars showing controversies and political upheavals. He has taken a huge risk by breaking away from BJP which was his party’s ally since 1989.

Interestingly in 1989 when Shiv Sena and BJP had formed an alliance transiting Saturn was in Sagittarius which is the 7th house from the natal Moon of Shiv Sena (19 June 1966, 18:00 hours at Mumbai) which is in Gemini. Now when these two parties have broken their alliance transiting Saturn is again in Sagittarius. The testing time for Shiv Sena will come after 25th of January 2020 when transiting Saturn will move into Capricorn which is the 8th house from her natal Moon.

Uddhav Thackeray may put a break on Modi’s Bullet Train

Immediately after his swearing-in Uddhav Thackeray has ordered to review Maharashtra’s contribution of funds for the central government’s Bullet Train project. Maharashtra has to pay 25% of the cost for Bullet Train route development between Ahmadabad and Mumbai route. Considering the oath taking horoscope and birth chart of Uddhav Thackeray it is likely that he may try to put break on many of the expensive infrastructure projects in Maharashtra started by Fadnavis government. The Maharashtra’ local leaders are against these project which are highly expensive and require fertile land of the state for its development which is schedule to begin from March 2020 and end in year 2023. It is highly likely that Uddhav Thackeray may put a break on Modi’s dream project which may then get delayed considerably. Moreover, Venus is in its enemy sign Cancer in birth chart along with Sun which is the lord of 12th house of losses. In Navamsha Venus goes into the 12th house and in Dashamsha Venus is debliteated. So Uddhav Thackeray may broke away with its alliance NCP and Congress during 2021 or may be even earlier.

On the basis of the above given horoscope of Ajit Pawar, horoscope of Devendra Fadnavis and their oath taking horoscope i had given a prediction in my earlier post that BJP government will fall in few days time. Both Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar had took oath of office at an inauspicious time when transiting Moon was in Virgo in the 8th house from their respective natal Moon which is in Aquarius. Moreover in their oath taking chart the lagna lord and Moon sign lord was in the 12th house of losses and humiliation. It was concluded in my post on 25th of November that Fadnavis will get cheated by Ajit Pawar who astrologically seems to be making fool of BJP. See the horoscope of Ajit Pawar given above, he is under the maha dasha of 9th lord Mercury and anter dasha of Venus. Mercury is the lord of 9th and 12th house in his Tula lagna Kundali. Venus is lagna and 8th lord here which is good. Although Mercury and Venus are in 2/12 from each other but none of these planets are under affliction to show that he could have cheated his party and family in such manner that they suffer a humiliation. It was the BJP who get conned by Ajit Pawar’s misadventure of joining them for 80 hour long Devendra Fadnavis government.

The horoscope of Ajit Pawar is very strong and it is no surprise that he is the number 2 in NCP. He is running the party and managing funds for them since many years now. In Libra lagna chart of Ajit Pawar 9th lord Mercury is with 11th lord Sun in the 10th house making a powerful Dhana Yoga. The lagna lord Venus in conjunction with 2nd lord Mars is another Dhana Yoga which is forming in the 11th house of gains. But then he has a Kemadruma Moon in both birth chart and Navamsha. Moon in Kemadruma is in the Rashi of Saturn and Navamsha of Mars is a big weakness here. But then aspect of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Venus on the Moon is a Raja Yoga also. As per the classical text of Hindu Astrology Moon getting the aspect of its sign lord or by four or more planets makes a good Raja Yoga. This condition get fulfilled in Ajit Pawar’s horoscope giving him a long and successful political career.

Mercury-Venus dasha of Ajit pawar is running from April 2017 to February 2020. He can become the deputy chief minister in Uddhav Thackeray led coalition named ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’. The period of Mercury-Sun from February 2020 to December 2020 will be good for Ajit Pawar. Both Mercury and Sun are strong in birth chart and Navamsha chart. But later in Mercury-Moon dasha during December 2020 to May 2022 he will lost his position and power. See Mercury and Moon are in 6/8 from each other which is not good. Moon is in Kemadruma Yoga as we have discuss above. Apart from this Moon falls in the 8th house of Navamsha chart and do not come under any benefic influence which is bad.

In Chara dasha period of Libra is running from July 2015 to July 2025. Libra has Atamakaraka Jupiter and the 10th house from it has Amatayakaraka Mercury and Ganatikaraka Sun. The dasha of Atamakaraka can give rise and fall. The Amatayakaraka in the 10th house from Rashi dasha shows powerful position but then it is also conjoined with Ganatikaraka so there will be fall after court cases and disputes. BJP may target Ajit Pawer by reopening cases of corruption against him in year 2020. This will become a major reason for spat between the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance eventually resulting in their fall any time during 2021. Can Devendra Fadnavis Save His Government In Maharashtra ?

In a major political upheaval in Maharashtra on the night of 22/23 November the governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari invited Devendra Fadnavis to form government in the state in most controversial manner. The matter has now reached at the Supreme Court of India as opposition parties Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress has challenged governor’s decision. The oath taking horoscope of Devendra Fadnavis is astrologically indicating that his government will get into trouble and it will bring humiliation for his party BJP. This immoral political misadventure in Maharashtra may cost BJP badly in the by-elections of Karnataka and in assembly polls of Jharkhand which are schedule next month in December. The misuse of governor and president’s office by the central government is a matter of serious concern once again

BJP will also find it difficult to answer people why they were in so hurry in forming the government in Maharashtra with the help of Ajit Pawar who is accused of multi-crore scams. Ever since Modi and Shah has come into the helm of affairs in 2014 and later got reelected in 2019 many politicians with allegation of corruption has flocked into the BJP. It is very much similar to the political tactics of Congress Party during 1970’s and early 1980’s when Indira’s charisma was at full bloom. Congress at her peak had also used the similar dirty tricks of creating defections and coercing leaders of opposition parties using pressure of investigating agencies. Their pervert political maneuvers in Manipur, Meghalaya, Goa, Karnataka and now in Maharashtra are not going to set any good examples for future generation of politicians. The conjunction of Saturn-Jupiter in transit is going to change the political landscape of country in next two years. Donald Trump had become president of USA by defeating Democratic Party’s Hilary Clinton in a tight contest in November 2016. I had made a predictions about Donald Trump becoming the US President which was published in Modern Astrology in early 2016 and also on my blog post ” US Presidential Elections 2016: the verdict of planets”. At that time Trump was passing under Vimshottari dasha of Rahu-Mars (November 2015 to November 2016). Trump was born on the day of a lunar eclipse. In his horoscope lagan lord Sun and Moon are in close conjunction with Rahu and Ketu respectively. But then Sun is in the 10^th house receiving the aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter which is a Raja Yoga. Moon is debliteated in the 4^th house but its sign lord Mars, which is Yoga Karaka planet here, is giving aspect to it thus Moon also get involve in a Raja Yoga. Immediately after his election he got the maha dasha of Jupiter which as the 5^th lord is well placed in the 2^nd house. It was no surprise that economy of USA was achieving a growth rate of around 3% under Trump’s rule and unemplyment rate was lowest at 3.7%.

But then this Jupiter is retrograde and receiving the aspect of Saturn, which is a functional malefic, from the 12^th house of losses. Because of some controversial decisions on immigration policy, trade war with China and coming out of ‘Paris climate change accord’ he received lots of criticism. Saturn is in the 12^th house of losses in birth chart. It is Vargottama but in Dashamsha it is in the 6^th house of disputes. Joe Biden is senior democratic party leader who served as vice president from 2009 to 2017. He was first elected to US senate in 1972 and then got re-elected for six time before becoming vice president in 2009. In his Vrischik lagna horoscope there is a very strong Gaja Kesari yoga. Moon is in Aries getting the aspect of its sign lord Mars. Jupiter as the 5^th lord is exalted in the 9^th house of luck. In year 2009 during Jupiter-Saturn dasha in Vimshottari he got elected as the US vice president. Saturn is in the 7^th house of ‘Pada-Prapati’ receiving the aspect of 7^th lord Venus and 10^th lord Sun which is a good Yoga.

Now during Jupiter-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari (April 2020 to September 2022) he would be challenging Donald Trump for US president post. Rahu is in Leo and its depositor Sun is strongly placed in the lagna. Jupiter and Rahu are in 2/12 position which is a little worry but then both are very strong in Navamsha chart. In Dashamsha Rahu is placed in the lagna which is excellent and its depositor Venus is in 11^th house of gains. Jupiter in Dashamsha aspect the 10^th house of power. At the time of US presidential elections he would be under Jupiter-Rahu-Jupiter in Vimshottari which is promising a victory.

A conditional dasha Dwisapatati Sama Dasha is also applicable in Joe Biden’s horoscope. In Dwisapatati Sama Dasha he is under Mars-Mercury (29 August 2019 to 13 October 2020) at present. Mars as the 6th and lagna lord is in the 12th house but it is in mutual aspect with 9th lord Moon so it is a Raja Yoga. Mercury as the 8th lord in the 12th house makes a Veepreet Raja Yoga. Then Mercury is also the 11th house lord of gains. Later Mars-Jupiter will start from 13 October 2020. So in the final phase of US Elections Joe Biden will get the most favorable dasha which will help him to impress people in Presidential debates. Future prospects for the Jaganmohan Reddy’s New Government in Andhra Pradesh

The rise of Jaganmohan Reddy and his apparent vendetta politics against former CM Chandrababu Naidu has some similarities to the J Jayalalithaa’s revenge saga against M Karunanidhi in Tamil Nadu. People in Andhra Pradesh are worried if this political spat between Jaganmohan Reddy and Naidu is going to badly affect the development of their state? However, astrologically the horoscope of Jaganmohan Reddy shows that good sense will prevail to him and he will learn to develop ‘main stream calm’ of politics in next couple of years. The oath taking horoscope of Jaganmohan Reddy is also promising this but the horoscope of Andhra Pradesh shows some concern. In the oath taking horoscope of Jaganmohan Reddy the striking feature is the mutual aspect between Saturn and Mars. Here Saturn is the lord of 6th house (conflict & court cases) and 7th house (opposition party) respectively which is with malefic Ketu and get the aspect of Mars (administration). Here Mars as the lord of 4th house (legislative assembly and administration) and 9th house (judiciary and Law) is with Rahu which shows political strife. After swearing-in Jaganmohan Readdy’s government filed some legal cases against the Chandrababu Naidu’s party TDP leaders which created a bitter feud between the two. The civic authorities of the capital city Amaravati started demolishing some unauthorized constructions of TDP leaders including that of former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. The afflicted 5th house in the oath taking horoscope of Jaganmohan Readdy shows his aggressive working style. But then here we have Jupiter which is in the 4th house giving aspect to Moon and also lagan lord Sun giving some hope for great positive development in the future.

A strong 4th house and its lord shows very positive people friendly policies of Jaganmohan Readdy towards farmers and general welfare of poor. He has already announced input subsidy of Rs. 12500/- for farmers which would be given to them before sowing season. The 4th house signifies farmers and general public apart from its many other significations.
Similarly his scheme “Amma Vodi” financial assistance of Rs.15000/- to mothers who send their children to schools is a big hit already. Hike in pensions of the elderly’s and 50% reservations for the weaker sections in nominated posts is also welcome by the people. The lagna lord Sun in the oath taking chart is in the 10th house along with 11th lord Mercury showing rise in Jaganmohan’s popularity.

Jaganmohan Reddy is the son of late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy (popularly known as YSR) who was the two time chief minister of Andhra Pradesh from Congress party. Jaganmohan’s father YSR died in a chopper crash in September 2009 few months after he was elected as chief minister for his second term. It was enigmatic Saturn-Venus dasha (March 2007 to May 2010) in his horoscope then. Saturn as the lord of 6th house is under the aspect from 8th lord Mars which shows this tragic death of his father. Following YSR’s death the majority of Congress party’s legislator in Andhra Pradesh wanted Jaganmohan to be appointed as the chief minister but Congress president Sonia Gandhi was not in favor of it. This was a huge mistake by central Congress leadership at that time as Jaganmohan had the potential to take up the political legacy of his father. In 2010 Jaganmohan resigned from Congress party and next year he formed his won party naming it YSR Congress.

But during his early years of launching his new party Jaganmohan was under Saturn-Moon (April 2011 to November 2012) and Saturn-Mars (November 2012 to December 2013) periods in Vimshottari which were difficult for him. Moon is with malefic Ketu in birth chart and in Navamsha it is in the 6th house. Mars is functional malefic from both lagna and Moon. It was no surprised that he was jailed in disproportionate assets case and could come out on bail in September 2013 only. By that time the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh was completely changed. Congress party had become highly unpopular and they hurriedly announced the bifurcation of state without consulting state unit. This was the second disastrous mistake of Sonia Gandhi which made her party very weak in the state. Apart from this Sonia Gandhi allegedly had insulted Jaganmohan’s mother Vijayamma and his sister Sharmila Reddy sometimes in the mid of year 2010 when they had visited 10 Janpath.

The state of Andhra Pradesh has this long history of bruised egos giving birth to the new political parties. From NT Rama Rao forming TDP after being ignored by Congress to the K Chandrasekhara Rao creating his TRS after he was being sideline by Chandrababu Naidu there are so many stories.

Coming back to Jaganmohan Reddy’s chart he got success in taking his revenge on Congress party and Gandhi family during the elections of 2014 and 2019. In the both Lok Sabha and assembly elections Congress party was decimated. At the time of 2014 elections in Andhra Pradesh Jaganmohan was under difficult Saturn-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari so he has to sit in the opposition but his party had won 67 seats. Later in year 2019 assembly elections Jaganmohan came into power with huge victory as his party YSR Congress got 151 seats in 175 members legislative assembly. Chandrababu Naidu’s party TDP won 23 seats where as Congress was not even manage to win a single seat.

Future prospects for the Jaganmohan Reddy’s New Government in Andhra Pradesh

In the Virgo (Kanya) lagna horoscope of Jaganmohan Reddy the auspicious maha dasha of Mercury has started from May 2019. As per Sage Parashara Mercury is the best planet for Kanya lagna native’s and here in the horoscope of Jaganmohan Reddy it is in great Raja Yoga. The lagna and 10th lord Mercury is conjoined with 9th lord Venus which is an excellent Raja Yoga. Saturn the lord of 5th house is in mutual aspect with Mercury and Venus is giving strength to this yoga. This Raja Yoga is forming at the 3/9 axis which shows Jaganmohan Reddy’s inhering his father’s political legacy. Had Smt. Sonia Gandhi understood astrology then she would not have made the big mistake of annoying Jaganmohan’s family after the death of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Mercury is in good Raja Yoga from both lagna and Moon in the horoscope of Jaganmohan Reddy. The 16 year long dasya of Mercury will give him a very successful political career and he will evolve himself to become one of the most popular chief minister Andhra Pradesh.

Mercury is strongly placed in the 4th house in Navamsha in mutual aspect with lagan lord Sun. In Dashamsha Mercury is in the ascendant which is excellent. Some difficulties will come during Mercury-Mercury period (May 2019 to October 2021) from which he will overcome. The Ashtama Shani Gochar from January 2020 to July 2022 will also give stress to Jaganmohan Reddy. But as i had mention in the beginning of my post that he will slowly learn the art of ‘mainstream calm in politics’. The dasha of Mercury-Ketu (October 2021 to October 2022) will give him tough challenges from the opposition. Mercury and Ketu are in the 6/8 position from each other.

But then Mercury-Venus dasha (from October 2022 to August 2025) will be good period of his political career. Venus the sub period lord is involve in excellent Raja Yoga. Venus is the lord of 11th house in Dashamsha chart of Jaganmohan Reddy which shows great achievements. His Mercury-Venus dasha in Vimshottari from October 2022 to August 2025 will maintain his popularity to large extent in Andhra Pradesh and many chief minister of India would feel jealous of his success.

Jaimini Angle

As per the Jaimini system, which is popular in Andhra Pradesh, Jaganmohan Reddy has this 6/8 position of Atamakaraka Mars and Amatayakaraka Saturn which shows his initial struggle. But then he became chief minister during his Chara dasha of Aries (December 2015 to December 2021) from where Amatayakaraka Saturn is in the 2nd house. Amatayakaraka Saturn aspect the 10th house from Aries which also get the good aspects of Venus and Mercury two natural benefic planets. The Chara dasha of Taurus (December 2021 to December 2027) will also be good for him. Taurus has his Amatayakaraka Saturn which get the aspect of Atamakaraka Mars from the 6th house. This period will give him some health issues and also trouble to his mother’s health. But his political authority will remain good during this time.
