Kamala Harris- the rising star of American Politics

Ever since Joe Biden has announced the name of Kamala Harris for his running mate in the coming US elections, almost all the opinion polls has shown his popularity rising constantly. The horoscope of Kamala Harris has been under a very auspicious maha dasha of Rahu which is Vargottama in Gemini sign. This strong dasha period of Rahu will not only give her the position of vice president in the coming US elections in November, but it has the potential for the future to enable her reaching at the pinnacle of her career by serving the President of USA some day. I will discuss about the political career and prospects of Kamala Harris in detail but first i would like my readers to go through my write up posted on 21 November 2019 in which i had given a forecast about Joe Biden becoming presidential nominee from the Democrats and later defeating Donald Trump in the US election. The first prediction about Joe Biden becoming the democratic party nominee has already come out correct and the second forecast about his becoming president of USA will be awaited after the voting for US elections would be conducted on 3rd of November 2020.

Now we will analysis the horoscope of Democratic Party’s vice president nominee Kamala Harris. Her Gemini (Mithuna) lagna horoscope has very good Raja Yoga of 5^th lord Venus in mutual aspect with the 9^th lord Saturn. The aspect of Mars on the 5^th and 9^th houses both shows her education in law. Her mother Shyamala Gopalan was a breast cancer scientist who immigrated from Tamil Nadu in 1960. Her father Donald J.Harris had come to USA in 1961 from Jaimica to pursue studies in economics and he is currently professor in Stanford University. Her parents divorced when she was only 7 years old. We can see this in her horoscope as 4^th lord Mercury and 9^th lord Saturn both are under the bad aspect of 6^th lord Mars. The 4th house is the house of mother and 9th house signify father.

The unconventional marriage of Kamala Harris Parents

Sun is debilitated and is under the aspect of Mars so it got her seprated from father. Her Moon is though very strong in Aries as it is in exchange with its sign lord Mars but it is also under the influence of malefic Saturn. Moon is in Taurus sign in Navamsha so the strong Moon made her stay with her mother after the divorce of her parents.

In the birth chart of Kamala Harris the debilitated 3rd lord Sun shows the unconventional marriage of her parents. The 3rd house is 12th from the 4th house of mother and it is 7th from the 9th house of parents. The malefic influences on the 3rd house in birth chart indicate the bad marital relations between parents of native. In Dwadamsha the 1/7 axis and its lord are carefully studied along with Sun (father) and Moon (mother) for the relations between the parents. Another noticeable feature in the horoscope of Kamala Harris is the presence of malefic planets on the 7^th house from Janma lagna, 7^th from Moon, 7^th from Venus and 7^th house from Navamsha lagan. Because of these affliction to the 7^th house she got married very late only in year 2014 when she was at the age of 49 and passing through the dasha of Rahu-Rahu in Vimshottari. Her husband Douglas Emhoff is a lawyer and is from a Jewish origin. So the role of Rahu across the 1/7 axis of her birth chart and Navamsha gave her an inter-religion or unconventional marriage. The 7th house from lagna, Moon, Venus and Navamsha lagna is studied for the matters related with marriage.

Strong Vimshottari and Chara Dasha for Harris

Kamala Harris is under very promising Rahu-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari from July 2020 to January 2023. The sub period lord Mercury is strongly placed in the 5^th house from Janma lagna and Dasha Rashi lord Rahu. Mercury is in the 7^th from Moon. In Navamsha Mercury is the lord of 9^th house and in Dashamsha it is the lord of lagna. So Rahu-Mercury period looks promising for her to win the higher position in elections.

In Jaimini Chara Dasha Kamala Harris is under Libra-Pisces period from February 2020 to December 2020. Putrakaraka Sun is placed in Libra which get the Jaimini aspect of Amatayakaraka Venus which is a Raja Yoga. Anter dasha Rashi Pisces is the 10^th house from lagna and 9^th from Atamakaraka Mars so it is also decent.

In the annual horoscope for completed year 56 of Kamala Harris the Virgo sign rise which is the 4th house (Simhasana) of her birth chart of Gemini lagan. In the annual horoscope the Muntha is in the 6th house and is hemmed between Saturn and Mars which indicate some struggle in the first year of her office at White House. But Moon and Jupiter are in the 4th house of annual horoscope are very promising. The annual horoscope or Varsha Kundali is cast for the solar return which in case of Kamala Harris is happening on 21 October 2020 at 05:59 hours.

In Yogini Dasha Kamala Harris is under Siddha (Venus)-Ulka (Saturn) period from May 2020 to July 2021. Venus and Saturn are in good Raja Yoga in birth chart. In Navamsha they are again in Raja Yoga in the 2^nd house. In Dashamsha Venus is in the 11^th house and Saturn is in the 10^th house of power. So Kamala Harris is surely going to win the post of US Vince President for which she is contesting.

Later Kamala Harris will also get the opportunity to serve at the US President in 2023 or 2024 in her Rahu-Ketu or Rahu-Venus dasha in the event of illness or accident of Joe Biden as his horoscope is weak from the point of view of health. As per the 25th Amendement of the US Constitution the Vice President can become ‘Acting President’ if the incumbent President become incapacitated due to illness or some inability to perform his duties. Annular Solar Eclipse of 21 June 2020- What it foretells for India and the world ?

In Medini Jyotish (mundane astrology) only total lunar eclipse has astrological significations not the Penumbral lunar eclipse which is know as ‘Upa Chaya Grahan’ commonly. There are two Penumbral lunar eclipses in the next 30 days; one is on 5-6th of June and other is on 4-5th of July but none of these have any astrological or religious importance. During the Penumbral lunar eclipse only a part of earth’s shadow (umbra) fall over Moon thus it have very little influence from astrological perspective. Hindu almanac didn’t even mention about Penumbral lunar eclipses as they do not have any references in the classical text of Hindus. In this post i will discuss about the possible effects of an Annual Solar Eclipse of 21st of June which would be visible in much of Asia and Africa continent. The solar eclipse of 21st of June will fall in Gemini (Mithuna Rashi) sign and Mrigshira Nakshtra. This solar eclipse will affect India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China the most. The economic conditions of these countries may suffer due to war like conditions and natural calamities within 3 months of this solar eclipse of 21st of June 2020.

A day before this solar eclipse of 21st June Mars will come into Pisces (Meena Rashi) sign from where it will aspect the Sun and Rahu in Gemini. Interestingly Saturn from Capricorn (Makar Rashi) would be giving aspect to Mars in Pisces and Mars will transfer this bad energy to Sun in Gemini at the time of the solar eclipse of 21st of June which make it highly sensitive for the people living in places where this eclipse is visible.

Horoscope of Annual Solar Eclipse of 21 June 2020

12:11 hours at Delhi, India

As per Brihat Samhita of Varahamihira an eclipse in Gemini sign ” gives trouble to honorable and famous persons including very famous women, kings, ministers, artists, people living near banks of Yamuna river etc. At the time of solar eclipse Sun is at 06 degrees and 13 minutes in Gemini which is right over the 2nd house of the foundation chart of India where Mars the 7th lord is placed. In Pakistan’s chart this eclipse will fall over her Moon and Mars which are in Gemini. For USA this eclipse will fall over their natal Sun in Gemini sign. In case of China this solar eclipse will be at their 6th house from both lagna and Moon which will make them highly aggressive. In case of Japan this eclipse will be over her natal Moon in Gemini. Since Mars from Pisces will be giving aspect to the Sun at the time of this eclipse so the above mention countries will face adverse consequences of this eclipse within few days. When Mars ignites an eclipse points the results are felt very sharply and in a highly dramatic manner. In the Navamsha of the eclipse chart Mars and Saturn aspect the 7th house of war. In Navamsha Mars, Sun, Moon, Rahu and Jupiter are all in watery sign as per rules of astro-meteorology which indicate danger from flood, extremely heavy rains and cyclones.

The Rashi Sanghatta Chakra is given in the book Narapati Jaya Charya which is a classical text written in the12^th century AD. This Chakra is used to see the war like situations. At the time of solar eclipse of 21^st of June 2020 Sun, Moon, Rahu and Mercury in Gemini sign will come in mutual aspect with Saturn and Jupiter in Capricorn Sign. Four planets will be retrograde at the time of this eclipse which fall over the natal Sun of USA in Gemini sign. The country may involve into dangerous conflicts with China around South China Sea area.

The long stay of Mars in Pisces sign this year is also dangerous which can bring two or more dangerous cyclones during June to September in USA and some South American countries.

Dangerous Cyclones and Earthquakes will come after solar eclipse of 21 June 2020

At the time of solar eclipse four planets Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury will be retrograde. Saturn and Jupiter will be in earthy sign Capricorn. These two major planets will be at the 21 degrees south declination. The close proximity of Saturn and Jupiter can bring a major earthquake in North India around the rive Yamuna. The North-West part of India and Punjab Province of Pakistan will felt a tremor within 15 days of this eclipse. This eclipse may also bring an earthquake in California in USA. There will be 2-3 dangerous cyclones at the eastern coast of USA which will bring massive rains due to Mars transiting in Pisces sign during the months of July to September this year. The Gemini sign under affliction by Mars will give trouble to USA and also people living near West Bengal. Gemini sign signifies USA in countries and in places in Indian sub continent it signifies Bengal.

Will China attack India after solar eclipse of 21 June 2020 ?

India-China boarder standoff in Ladhak has brought a global concern for the possible war between these two Asian giants. I had forecast about a possible war between India and China in my post written three years ago in 2017 with title “India and China on the path of war”. The astrological reason behind this forecast was the major transit of Saturn and Jupiter in Capricorn (Makar Rashi) which has the potential to repeat the events of 1962. In year 1961-62 we had the similar transit of planets when Saturn and Jupiter conjoined in Sagittarius first and then in Capricorn along with many other planets which brought a war between India and China.

The foundation horoscope of China has a classical ‘Kapat Yoga’ which make this country an expert in the state policy of fraud, guile and falseness.

As per Jatak Tatwam a strong Mercury in the 9th house along with malefic planets make ‘Kapat Yoga’. Apart from this an afflicted 4th house and Mars-Mercury combination also make ‘Kapat Yoga’ in a horoscope. In the foundation horoscope of China Mercury is in own sign Virgo along with Ketu and Sun in classical ‘Kapat Yoga’. The lagna lord of China is Saturn which falls in the 8th house of disguise and hidden conspiracy. The 4th lord Mars is debliteated in the 7th house of war in mutual aspect with 7th lord Moon. In the foundation chart of China Mars afflicted the feminine planets Moon and Venus which shows why the position of women in this country is so dismal. You will not find any prominent women politician in the ruling communist party of China.

The 19 year long Saturn maha dasha gave tremendous progress to China from 2000 to 2019. This was because of an unaffiliated Jupiter is giving its pious aspect to this Saturn. In the foundation chart of China Jupiter is Vargottama in Sagittarius and it aspect Saturn the lagan lord. But now the maha dasha of Mercury has started from September 2019. In Mercury maha dasha China is getting humiliated as it has been accused for the corona virus outbreak in the entire world in collusion with WHO (world health organization). In Mercury-Mercury-Venus period China may ignited a war against India to divert the attention of world from her corona virus conspiracy. This may happen after the solar eclipse of 21 June which is falling in the 6th house of China. The transiting Saturn and Jupiter on the 7th lord Moon of China is showing her aggressive instinct. Mars transiting from Pisces in the 3rd house of China will give her border clashes with neighboring countries in next 6 months.

Foundation Horoscope of India

The solar eclipse of 21 June will fall over the natal 7th lord of India which is in Gemini at 07 degrees and 27 minutes. This eclipse is highly inauspicious for India as the country is witnessing some very bad omens since last six months. In the month of December 2019 Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi fall on stairs at Atal Ghat in Kanpur

on the 15th of December which was seen live on camera. Had Prime Minister fallen in some private place then it wound not have been consider as a bad omen from astrological perspective. Immediately after this event there was wide spread protest against citizenship amendment bill across major cities of India. Because of this the proposed visit of Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Guwahati Assam has to be cancelled as protesters had destroyed the venue in Guwahati stadium. This was the first time that any state chief had cancelled his visit to India during the tenure of Prime Minister Modi. Then on the 30th of December a fire broke out in the PMO (Prime Minister office reception)

Though these were minor incidents but they all happen within a span of 15 days which were from astrological perspective a very bad omen for the country. A solar eclipse had fallen on the Sagittarius sign on the 26th of December 2019. The effects of these bad omens and eclipse brought a major riot in Delhi during the USA president Donald Trump’s visit to India in the last week of February in 2020. It was the first time in the history of India that communal riots were seen during a state guest visit.

Now before this solar eclipse of 21st of June we had 11 earthquakes of low intensity in the last two months in Delhi-NCR which is a very bad omen as per Bhadra Bahu Samhita. The Bhadra Bahu Samhita is an ancient treaty on the study of omens which says that before an eclipse if there are bad omens in a country then it may get destruction from war.

This solar eclipse falls in the 8th house from the natal Janma lagna and Moon of prime minister Modi. This is one of the reason that this solar eclipse is particularly very dangerous for India. The country is under Vimshottari dasha of Moon-Saturn-Ketu from 1 June 2020 to 4 July 2020. Moon and Saturn are mutual enemies. Ketu the sub-sub period lord is placed in the 7th house of war. The next sub period will be of Venus as the Moon-Saturn-Venus runs from 4th of July 2020 to 9th of October 2020. During this period there is a danger of war with China in which Pakistan may also participate against India in some form or the other. Venus is the lord of 6th house in India’s foundation chart. In Navamsha and Dashamsha it is the lord of 8th house.

The solar eclipse of 21 June will also be very dangerous for Pakistan as it falls in Gemini over its natal Moon. It is at almost exact degrees on it natal lagna lord Mars which is at 06 degrees and 47 minutes. The Sun in Gemini at the time of this eclipse will be at 07 degrees. Pakistan is under Venus-Jupiter-Rahu in Vimshottari from 1 June 2020 to 25 October 2020. Venus is the lord of 7th house and Jupiter is placed in the 7th house of war. Rahu is in the 2nd house which is a Maraka house. The next sub period will be of Venus-Saturn from 25 October 2020 to 26 December 2023. Venus and Saturn are functional malefic planets for the Aries (Mesha) lagna chart of Pakistan. In transit Saturn is in Capricorn at the 10th house from Janma lagna and 8th from its natal Moon. There is direct threat to some of the big leader of the ruling party of Pakistan. Venus-Saturn period will put this country in great political and economic crisis. Pakistan may have to sell some of its land resources to China for her survival. This will create a major geopolitical crisis in the sub-continent as USA want to use Pakistan’s military resources to control Afghanistan and also have a foot print near its enemy Iran. While China will get success to get some important naval and military basis in Pakistan which will ignite a cold war situation between China and USA in the sub-continent.

In the nut-shell this solar eclipse of 21st of June 2020 is going to bring major disturbances to the world peace in coming months. The USA having sun in Gemini, Pakistan having her Moon in Gemini and India having her 7th lord Mars in Gemini are going to suffer the most. While China will become more hostile towards her neighbors inviting more humiliation of her in coming years.

Iran in war mood and middle-east tensions

Iran and Saudi Arabia are two powerful neighbors in the middle-east who are at loggerhead since 1979 in a proxy war. Before 1979 the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia were good but it all changed after the Iranian revolution of 1979 in which the Islamic organizations overthrown the monarch of Shah Pahlavi who was supported by the USA then.The Shah of Iran had modernized his country with a series of reforms known as ‘White revolution’ since 1963. But after the Islamic revolution of 1979 the Shah Pahlavi’s regime was overthrown and a theocratic government under supreme leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini came into power which Islamized the society of Iran making it a radical country. The Iranian revolution of 1979 had its very deep impact on the politics of Muslim countries. Iran had bitter relations with USA, Israel and Saudi Arabia since then. In Hindu Astrology Rahu is the significian (Karaka) for Muslim’s. During 1979 Rahu was in conjunction with Saturn in its enemy sign Leo.

The Iran also had fought a dangerous war with Iraq later from 1980 to 1988 in which estimated one million people were killed. It was after the Iranian revolution the religious fundamentalism grew in many Sunni dominated countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. The conjunction of Saturn and Rahu in Leo was the astrological reason for that Islamic Revolution in 1979.

Since then Iran, which is largely a Shia Muslim state, is at loggerhead with Saudi Arabia who is leading Sunni Muslim power. Their rivalry started at the time of Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Virgo during 1980-81 when Iraq, secretly supported by Saudi and USA , attacked the borders of Iran. After nearly three decades during the Arab revolution of 2011-12 Iran took her revenge from Saudi Arabia by supporting from behind the forces who overthrew the Sunni dictatorial regimes in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. Post 2011 Arab uprising Iran and Saudi Arabia are in proxy war in Yemen, Syria and Bahrain. Interestingly during the Arab uprising Saturn was in Virgo in opposition with Jupiter in Pisces. A point to note here is that Saturn-Jupiter conjunction or opposition is a classical yoga for big wars and revolutions which can change regimes in many countries. The Saturn-Rahu conjunction or Saturn-Ketu conjunction is a yoga for rise of religious fundamentalism in the world and also wars.

Iran’s recent dominance in the Middle-East

This strategic rivalry between the two big Muslim nations is heating up because Iran in many ways is winning the regional struggle. In Syria Iranian support (backed by Russia) has proved crucial for President Bashar Al-Assad, who is from Shia sect, to save his regime from the continuous onslaught of Sunni rebellion forced backed by Saudi Arabia. In Yemen , Iran is supporting the Houthi rebels who have created troubles for Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile in Lebanon, an old ally of Iran, the Hezbollah (a Shia militia group) is now leading a politically powerful block and an armed fighting force which has become a threat for both Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Now when the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction is going to take place again, this time in Sagittarius and also in Capricorn, there is a clear danger for a destructive war in the middle-east in 2020. An important point to keep in mind the current Saturn-Ketu conjunction which has ignited tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The current Supreme Leader of Iran is Ali Khamenei who is ruling since June 1989 after the death of Ruhollah Khomeini. Mars in the 9^th house with 3^rd lord Mercury made Iran a religious fundamentalist state. At present Iran is under enigmatic Jupiter-Venus dasha in Vimshottari from September 2019 to May 2022. Jupiter and Venus are at bad 6/8 position in the horoscope. Venus is in the 8^th house with Ketu under the bad aspect of 7^th (war) and 8^th (destruction) lord Saturn is ominous. In transit Saturn is moving from the 8^th house of the natal Moon of Iran which is in Taurus. Soon a solar eclipse will fall in Sagittarius on the 26^th of December in the 8^th from the natal Moon of Iran. Then thisenigmatic Saturn-Jupiter conjunction will take place in the 7^th house of the foundation horoscope of Iran which will make it more aggressive after March 2020. The Iran may enter into a destructive war with Saudi Arabia, USA and Israel on many fronts in the middle-east.

In the Scorpio lagna foundation horoscope of Saudi Arabia the lagna lord Mars is in the 9^th house in mutual aspect with 4^th lord (royal throne) Saturn explaining why it is a monarchy. Mars is also the lord of 6^th house placed in the 9^th house showing Saudi Arabia’s propagating the most fundamentalist version of Islam i.e. Wahabi Islam. Saudi Arabia is a home of Islam as holy cities Mecca and Medina are in this country which gave it high status among all Muslim nations. One can notice here a beautiful exchange between the 7^th lord Venus and 9^th lord Moon showing great religious stature of Saudi Arabia. Then also see a beautiful Gaja Kesari Yoga which is doubly strong due to Jupiter’s placement in Kendra from both lagna and Moon. The 2^nd and 5^th lord Jupiter conjoined with 8^th and 11^th lord Mercury shows great wealth of Saudi Arabia from underground resources which is crude oil.

At present Saudi Arabia is going through Ketu-Saturn dasha in Vimshottari from July 2019 to August 2020. Ketu is with 8^th lord Mercury and 5^th lord Jupiter showing radical cultural changes in Saudi administration. The newly crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman is initiating reforms by removing religious restriction on women’s and opening the country for international tourism. But since the Ketu- Saturn are placed in the 6/8 from each other so there is also danger of border clashes and war. In Chara Dasha the period of Leo is running since August 2018. Leo has Atamakaraka Mercury along with Ketu and Matrikaraka (land) Jupiter. They get the bad Jaimini aspect of Ganatikaraka (enemy) Saturn which shows clear danger to the Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure from its enemy which is Iran.

The Solar eclipse of 26^th of December 2019 will fall in the 8^th house from the natal Moon of Saudi Arabia. Then there is another solar eclipse in June 2020 which will fall in Gemini the 8^th house from the lagna of Saudi Arabia. The first half of 2020 shows a clear danger for Saudi Arabia from a military attack on its territory by its enemy which is Iran. In Democratic Party Joe Biden is leading in the race for the presidential nominee as compare to other contenders like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. Let us analysis the horoscopes of Donald Trump and Joe Biden to astrologically assess the outcome of US Presidential elections in November 2020.

Donald Trump had become president of USA by defeating Democratic Party’s Hilary Clinton in a tight contest in November 2016. I had made a predictions about Donald Trump becoming the US President which was published in Modern Astrology in early 2016 and also on my blog post ” US Presidential Elections 2016: the verdict of planets”. At that time Trump was passing under Vimshottari dasha of Rahu-Mars (November 2015 to November 2016). Trump was born on the day of a lunar eclipse. In his horoscope lagan lord Sun and Moon are in close conjunction with Rahu and Ketu respectively. But then Sun is in the 10^th house receiving the aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter which is a Raja Yoga. Moon is debliteated in the 4^th house but its sign lord Mars, which is Yoga Karaka planet here, is giving aspect to it thus Moon also get involve in a Raja Yoga. Immediately after his election he got the maha dasha of Jupiter which as the 5^th lord is well placed in the 2^nd house. It was no surprise that economy of USA was achieving a growth rate of around 3% under Trump’s rule and unemplyment rate was lowest at 3.7%.

But then this Jupiter is retrograde and receiving the aspect of Saturn, which is a functional malefic, from the 12^th house of losses. Because of some controversial decisions on immigration policy, trade war with China and coming out of ‘Paris climate change accord’ he received lots of criticism. USA may get involve in a war with Iran during 2020 which will badly affect the presidential campaign of Donald Trump.

So despite a tough fight he may lose election. In Chara dasha period of Cancer-Pisces (June 2020 to February 2021) would be running which is not very supportive. Cancer is the 12^th house from lagna and Pisces is the 8^th house. Cancer get the aspect of Amatayakaraka Moon which shows some tough contest but no sign of victory.

Joe Biden is senior democratic party leader who served as vice president from 2009 to 2017. He was first elected to US senate in 1972 and then got re-elected for six time before becoming vice president in 2009. In his Vrischik lagna horoscope there is a very strong Gaja Kesari yoga. Moon is in Aries getting the aspect of its sign lord Mars. Jupiter as the 5^th lord is exalted in the 9^th house of luck. In year 2009 during Jupiter-Saturn dasha in Vimshottari he got elected as the US vice president. Saturn is in the 7^th house of ‘Pada-Prapati’ receiving the aspect of 7^th lord Venus and 10^th lord Sun which is a good Yoga.

Now during Jupiter-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari (April 2020 to September 2022) he would be challenging Donald Trump for US president post. Rahu is in Leo and its depositor Sun is strongly placed in the lagna. Jupiter and Rahu are in 2/12 position which is a little worry but then both are very strong in Navamsha chart. In Dashamsha Rahu is placed in the lagna which is excellent and its depositor Venus is in 11^th house of gains. Jupiter in Dashamsha aspect the 10^th house of power. At the time of US presidential elections he would be under Jupiter-Rahu-Jupiter in Vimshottari which is promising a victory.

A conditional dasha Dwisapatati Sama Dasha is also applicable in Joe Biden’s horoscope. In Dwisapatati Sama Dasha he is under Mars-Mercury (29 August 2019 to 13 October 2020) at present. Mars as the 6th and lagna lord is in the 12th house but it is in mutual aspect with 9th lord Moon so it is a Raja Yoga. Mercury as the 8th lord in the 12th house makes a Veepreet Raja Yoga. Then Mercury is also the 11th house lord of gains. Later Mars-Jupiter will start from 13 October 2020. So in the final phase of US Elections Joe Biden will get the most favorable dasha which will help him to impress people in Presidential debates.
