Total Lunar Eclipse of 3 March 2026 and Middle- East War

On the 28th of February 2026 at 09:30 a.m. Iran local time the supreme leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei was taking a meeting along with the high profile military and civilian leadership. A surprise air strike by USA and Israel hit the secure Presidential office in Tehran and killed Ali Khamenei and many others. In about 24 hours USA and Israel have reportedly dropped 1200 bombs at various locations in Iran killing many key family members and associates of Ali Khamenei. In the April 2025 issue of the Express Star Teller Magazine i had forecast a very critical time for Ali Khamenei regime in my write-up “Saturn-Rahu Conjunction in Pisces and Danger for Iran”. Using Hindu New Year horoscope 2025-26 for Iran i had predicted a major danger for Ali Khamenei any time before March 2026.

After the tragic death of Ali Hosseini Khamenei many public protests are taking place in various countries in Asia where Shia Muslims people lives.

Now the upcoming lunar eclipse of 3rd of March will fall in Leo sign which is the rising sign of the USA President Donald Trump (born 14 June 1946, 10:52 a.m. at Queens, New York, USA) and it is the 10th house of power in the birth chart of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (born 21 October 1949, 10:15 a.m. at Tel Aviv, Israel). The impact of this Lunar Eclipse will bring down the popularity of both Donald Trump and Bejamin Netanyahu in their respective countries. The war which USA and Israel has waged against the Iran will run longer than expected due to the effects of this total lunar eclipse.

As per the Brihat Samhita “Rahu-Chaar-Adhyay” if at the time of the lunar or solar eclipse Mars aspect the Sun and/or the Moon then it gives fear from the war, robbers and fire accident. Since at the time of the lunar eclipse of the 3rd of March 2026 Mars will be associated with the Sun and Rahu and it is giving its 7th aspect to the Moon so the current Middle East war is likely to get intensified. Mars will remain in Aquarius sign till the 2nd of April by which we don’t foresee any major relief for Iran as the relentless and brutal air strikes of USA and Israel are likely to continue.

After 2nd of April Mars will move into Pisces and get into a conjunction with natural malefic Saturn. However, in India, it will be visible only a short while after the rising of the Moon in the sky. According to Indian Standard Time, this lunar eclipse on March 3rd will touch at 3:20 pm, peak at 5:04 pm, and end at 6:47 pm. In the states of Northeast India, such as Assam, eastern Bengal, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur, this lunar eclipse will be visible for a longer period, hence its impact will be greater there.

Lunar Eclipse will be bad for these professional

This lunar eclipse will occur in the zodiac sign Leo and in the constellation Purvaphalguni. Since this lunar eclipse is falling in Leo ruled by the Sun so the prices of gold are likely to rise a bit for the next 45 days at least.

The rulers of these countries will face trouble after the lunar eclipse

During the lunar eclipse on March 3rd, the Moon will form an inauspicious conjunction with Ketu in Leo, and will be aspected by the Sun, Mars, and Mercury from the seventh house. Solar Eclipse of 17th of February 2026 And Epstein Files Scandal

On Tuesday, February 17th, in the Lunar month of Fhalgun, an annular solar eclipse will occur in the Dhanishtha Nakshatra in the Aquarius sign. This solar eclipse is not visible in India, but the conjunction of four major planets at the time of this eclipse will influence the westward-pointing Aquarius sign in transit, creating significant impacts on global politics, and India will not be spared. Recently, after a lengthy court case, the US Justice Department released the digital files of pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein on January 30th of this year. At the time of the release of those document of sex crime the transiting Mars, Venus, Mercury and the Sun were in Capricorn a Saturn ruled sign. Out of 6 million of Epstein files 3.5 million has been released on the 30th of January this year.

Now when the conjunction of Mars, Venus, Mercury, Rahu and the Sun is about to take place in Aquarius sign it is highly likely that some more data from the Epstein files shall be released in the month of March this year which will bring a major storm in the global politics. From an astrological perspective, within three months of the February 17th solar eclipse, the credibility of rhw governments in the United States, England, France, and India will be significantly threatened. At the time of the Annular Solar Eclipse of 17th of February the transiting Venus is heavily afflicted in both Rashi and Navamsha in the Saturn ruled sign Aquarius.

For India the fortnight starting from 17th of February 2026 is highly critical as the conjunction of four planets Venus, Mercury, Rahu, the Sun and the Moon in the 8th house of scandals in the lunar chart is showing danger of a major sex scandal troubling the central government.

In this horoscope for the solar eclipse of 17th of February 2026 (Chart 1) the Cancer ascendant is rising, and the malefic planet Mars is placed in its exalted sign Capricorn in the seventh house of the sex scandal. The ascendant lord the Moon, being in conjunction with the Sun, Rahu, Venus and Mercury in the eighth house of humiliation , is showing the astrological possibility of a senior minister of the Central Government resigning from his post in the next 3 months.

According to the Rahuchar Adhyay of Acharya Varahamihira’s Brihat Samhita, when Mars aspects or transits the Rashi of the eclipse, “there is a fear of war, fire, and trafficking .” Coincidentally, a few days after this solar eclipse in Aquarius, on February 23rd, Mars will enter Aquarius sign and it will afflict the eclipse’s Nakshatra, Dhanishtha. Mars will remain in Aquarius from February 23rd to April 3rd, during which the Russia-Ukraine war will intensify, and conditions for war between the United States and Iran will begin to develop. Amidst this global turmoil, the opposition’s attacks on the central government in India will intensify. The Aquarius sign, which influences western Indian states and Russia also, will pose a threat of fire accidents.

The foundation horoscope of independent India (August 15, 1947, midnight, Delhi) is of Taurus ascendant rising , in which the inauspicious Vimshottari Dasha period of Mars and the Anter Dasha of Rahu is currently underway. The Maha Dasha lord Mars is the lord of the 7th house (sex scandals) and it is in the Nakshatra of Rahu in Ardra. The Rahu, which is Anter Dasha lord) is in the ascendant in Rashi but it falls in the 12th house in Navamsha. The depositor of Rahu is Venus which is in planetary war with natural malefic Saturn in its enemy sign Cancer is not good for the image of the central government.

Partial Solar Eclipse of 21st of September 2025- What it foretells ?

A partial solar eclipse is scheduled to occur on the Ashwin Amavasya (New Moon day on the Lunar month of Ashwin) on the September 21st, visible only in parts of Australia and New Zealand and also Fiji. Since this partial solar eclipse is not visible in India, there will be no religious significations of it. However, the transiting position of planets at the time of this eclipse, which is in Virgo sign and Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra, is being affected by the seventh aspect of retrograde Saturn. Therefore, anti-government protests and public outrage are possible in many countries. In Australia, some racists minded people held a large rally in the second week of September protesting against the increasing number of Indian immigrants in their country.

Unsuccessful protests by such right wing hardliners may also occur in some other countries against the Indian immigrants. Ashwin Amavasya will end at 1:24 am on September 22nd, according to the Indian Standard time. This partial solar eclipse will occur in the Southern Hemisphere so its more impact will be felt there only as per cardinal rules of mundane astrology.

In the foundation horoscope of India (15 August 1947, 00:00 hours at Delhi) the fifth house of the Taurus ascendant horoscope of independent India will get the transit effect of Mercury, along with the Sun and Moon, in Virgo. The fifth house is considered to be related to the students, as well as the stock market, tourism industry, cinema, and diplomacy of foreign ministry. Due to the influence of retrograde Saturn transiting in Pisces on the eclipse sign, Virgo, students from India who have gone abroad to study within three months of the eclipse may face some difficulties, especially in countries like the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Interestingly it was the India diaspora which was blindly supporting the Presidency of Donald Trump in the USA and there were many crazy fans of Trump who were doing various kinds of Pooja to wish him a grand success in the US Presidential elections. Now ever since Trump has came into the helm of affairs for his second term he is giving a hard time to the Indians on every front. It was Donald Trump who pushed a defense pushed between Saudia Arabia and Pakistan on the 17th of September which coincidentally is the birth day of the Indian Prime Minister and his good friend Mr. Modi. Now coming back to the Partial Solar Eclipse of 21st of September 2025. As per the foundation horoscope of India the Vimshottari Dasha of Mars and Anter Dasha of Mars running is not favorable. Transiting Mars at present is in Libra in the 6th house of conflicts which shows that India will have a hard time for next 30 days in managing her foreign relations.

In Australia’s Pisces ascendant establishment horoscope (January 1, 1901, 1:25 pm, Melbourne), the difficult Vimshottari Dasha period of the Sun and the Anter Dasha of Venus is not auspicious until June 2026. In New Zealand’s Taurus ascendant foundation horoscope (September 26, 1907, midnight, Wellington), the favorable position of Venus Dasha and Saturn Anter Dasha will give moderate results to her economy.

The solar eclipse will have a greater impact on these people and directions

At the time of the New Moon in the lunar month of Ashwin if an eclipse falls the Brihat Samhita says, due to the eclipse of the Sun and Moon in Virgo, crops, poets, scholars, writers, singers, Ashmaka and Tripura, the major rice-producing states, will suffer. Due to the impact of the solar eclipse in Virgo, controversies involving some prominent figures from the film and entertainment world will be in the headlines. This year, the rice harvest will be below normal, and some unpleasant news may come from Tripura, Manipur etc. in the Northeast part of the country.

The solar eclipse is occurring in the Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra, which represents the southern part of the country according to the Kurma Chakra. Total Lunar Eclipse of 7/8 September 2025 – What it foretells for India and the World ?

On the upcoming 7th September Sunday night, on the full Moon day of the lunar month of Bhadrapada, a long duration lunar eclipse is going to occur which will be visible in the entire Western Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa as well as the eastern regions of North and South America. According to the Indian Standard time, this eclipse will start at 9:57 pm and will be at its peak from 11:01 pm to 1:26 am on the night of 7/8 September. In India, the duration of this lunar eclipse will be 3 hours 29 minutes which will be quite long. This lunar eclipse will occur when the Moon is in Aquarius in Purvabhadrapad Nakshatra which will be very sensitive for India and Pakistan both. As per the Koorma Chakra the Purvabhadra Pada Nakshtra signify the North direction. Uttarabhadra Pada also signify this North direction and Saturn at present is transiting in it.

This eclipse will occur on the tenth house (government) from the Taurus ascendant foundation horoscope of independent India (15th August 1947, midnight, Delhi), due to which there may be important changes in the central government in the next 6 months and the stability of the BJP government at the center may also be in danger.

Jupiter, being in Gemini, is in the Kendra of Mars transiting in Virgo. And Saturn, being in Pisces, is forming Samsaptaka Yoga (mutual aspect) with Mars transiting in Virgo. The central position of these big planets at the time of lunar eclipse and the Samsaptaka Yoga of Mercury and Moon also is the possibility of loss of life and property in the Himalayas or Hindukush region due to earthquake, because of which people will suffer in some areas of India and Pakistan. Due to the affliction to the sign Pisces, there will be a possibility of more troubles in the flood-hit Punjab region of India and Pakistan. Rainfall within 3 days may increase problems of these ares. At the time of this lunar eclipse Jupiter aspect the eclipse sign Aquarius and Mercury also aspect the Moon.

Pressure on India to make trade deal with America will increase

India has now also joined the list of countries struggling with the ‘trade war’ of US President Donald Trump. America has imposed 50% duty on some important items of export from India like diamonds, jewellery, precious clothes, shoes, leather goods, furniture, sports goods, chemicals etc. from the last week of August. After the upcoming lunar eclipse, America will put heavy pressure on India to make a trade deal and reduce the duty on some of its agricultural products like fruits and nuts, and automobiles, modern weapons and electronics goods etc. and import more from the USA. Under this new policy of pressure in global trade, the US government can also take strict action against the companies of some big industrialists of India.
