Horoscope of New Moon of 6th of July 2024 and Danger of Flood

The South West monsoon in Kerala had arrived on the 30th of May this year. In the June issue of the Express Star Teller at page number 33 paragraph number 2 in the article ‘Southwest Monsoon 2024’ a prediction of an Early onset of monsoon over Kerala was made by me which came out correct. However, the rainfall in the month of June is 11% deficient. The state of Kerala (-25%) and coastal Karnataka (-14%) has received less rainfall. Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh has also received less rainfall in the month of June. In the month of July we expect more than normal rainfall due to good placement of planets in the New Moon horoscope (6th of July 2024) and also in the Solar Ingress of Cancer chart (16th of July 2024). In my article “Forecasting Trends for the South West Monsoon for India in 2024” posted on the 31st of May i had forecast an early onset of monsoon in Delhi-NCR on the 28th and 29th of June. Forecasting Trends for the South West Monsoon 2024

Now the transiting Jupiter from Taurus sign is behind the Sun which as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar is a yoga for very good rainfall. Also, Venus is about to come into Cancer sign and join Mercury which is another very good Yoga for the rainfall. This astrological phenomena will bring very heavy rainfall in the North and North-West Part of India from the 6th of July Anavasya.

But the Saturn will be retrograde in Aquarius and Jupiter will be in fast moving motion from Taurus sign. The retrogression of Saturn and the fast moving motion of Jupiter during the monsoon season is a yoga for erratic rainfall as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskara. So, during the month of July there will be excess rainfall in North India, Western Parts of India and also in Punjab Province of Pakistan. But many other places of the Indian sub-continent will receive less than normal rainfall which would be a concern.

Mars in Kritika Nakshatra and Danger for Ayodhya

From the 12th of July to 28th of July Mars will remain in Kritika Nakshatra.

The holy city of Ayodhya is ruled by Kritika Nakshatra as per the Avakahada Chakra. Recently on the 26th and 27th of June the per-monsoon rains in Ayodhya witnessed the collapse of newly-build infrastructure, water logging and inundation of streets were also in news. On the 27th of June the Moon and Saturn were in Purva Bhadrapada Nakshtra giving Vedha to the Kritika Nakshatra ruled by Ayodhya. Now Mars is about to enter Kritika Nakshatra in the second week of July only.

More rains will come in the second week of July in the eastern and central parts of UP affecting Ayodhya ruled by Kritika Nakshatra and Varanasi ruled by Rohini Nakshatra as per Avakahada Chakra. Mars transiting in Kritika Nakshtra and Jupiter in Rohini will bring water logging and flood like conditions in Ayodhya and Varanasi region. In Nakshatra Sangatta Chakra Mars is in Kritika Nakshatra on the 10th of July is getting Vedha from Saturn transiting in Purvabhadra Pada Nakshtra. In the second fortnight of July this Veda will continue and there will be disturbances in the central Uttar Pradesh area and also in Ayodhya region.

Mars in Rohini Nakshatra and Danger of an Earthquake

The transiting Mars will be in Rohini Nakshatra from 26th of July to 10th of August this year. This period shows a danger of an earthquake as Mars will be in Rohini along with Jupiter and these two major planets will be in Kendra from retrograde Saturn which is a yoga for an earthquake. In the hilly areas of India and Pakistan there will be a danger from destruction of lives and property during this period of Mars transit from Rohini and also around the Full Moon of 20th of August when an earthquake may also come in the Norther Parts of India and Punjab Province of Pakistan.

According to Bhavishya Phala  Bhaskar, a book of Mundane astrology, when Jupiter moves behind the Sun in transit, it drench the earth with water, i.e., it rains heavily during the rainy season. This year, at the end of the month of May, Jupiter will be behind the Sun in terms of longitudes in the  Taurus sign . This planetary position will create the possibility of good rainfall in the month of June along with the early arrival of monsoon in many states  this year. At the end of May and the first fortnight of June, the conjunction of the auspicious planets Jupiter, Venus and Mercury with the Sun in Taurus sign will create conditions of very heavy rainfall in South India and West Bengal. Along with this, there are chances of earthquakes in the northern and eastern parts of India around the new moon of June 6, due to which there may be loss of life and property at some places. In my article ‘Forecasting Trends for the Summer Season 2024  for India’, published at this blog on the 11th of March 2024 i had forecast an early onset of South West Monsoon over Kerala. I had also made a prediction that during summer season the temperature will be higher than the normal particularly in the month of June due to the transit of Mars from the fiery sign Aries.
The conjunction of five planets in the earth element sign Taurus will create the possibility of more than normal rainfall in South, West and Central India in the month of June on the New Moon day of May 6th . In North India too, there are chances of thunderstorms, lightning and thunderstorms around the new moon day of June 6th . The South-West  Monsoon may arrive in Goa by June 5th , in Mumbai and Raipur  before June 10th  and in  Nagpur city before May 15th.

In the second week of June 2024 there is a possibility of some unseasonal rainfall in the northern states of India due to the conjunction of five planets in Taurus sign. Out of these five planets 4 are in Rohini Nakshatra which falls under “Pawan Nadi” ruled by the Sun in Sapta Nadi Chakra. This combination can give disastrous flash floods in the hilly areas of North India especially in Uttarakhand. There will be losses of lives and properties in Bihar, Jharkhand, parts of West Bengal and Eastern Uttar Pradesh due to lightening, storm and unseasonal rainfall.

An earthquake is also likely in the month of June, especially around the New Moon, in the area of North and Eastern parts of the country. Five planets (the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter) are in earthy sign Taurus. Saturn and Mars are in earthy Navamsha Taurus. The luminaries (Sun and Moon) are in watery Navamsha Cancer shows these natural calamities.

Since Rohini Nakshatra in Koorma Chakra comes under the central parts of India so there will be an early onset of monsoon in states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra this year. The Mumbai, Raipur, Bhopal and Nagpur may receive very good rainfall during 7th of June to the 21st of June.

This year the Sun will enter into Ardra Nakshatra (asterism) on the day of Full Moon i.e. Purnima which is considered very auspicious as per the classical text Varsha Prabodha. The week day lord (Vaar Swami) is Venus as the Ardra Pravesh is occurring on Friday. Venus is the watery planet as per the classical texts of astro-meteorology. The day lord, yoga and Karana are all very auspicious. However, at the time of Ardra Pravesh the Moon is in Moola Nakshatra which as per Varsha Prabodha gives disease and fear to men’s and also the weakness. Because of the heavy rainfall there will be spread of viral fever in some parts of the country during monsoon season.

  1. The rising sign at the time of Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshtra is Pisces which is 100% watery sign. The benefic planets Mercury, Venus and the Moon are in Kendra from the lagna and also the Sun which shows sufficient rainfall as per the long period average in the country. The Navamsha is Cancer which also a full watery sign.
  2. Jupiter is behind the Sun which as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar is a very good yoga for the rainfall. Venus and Mercury are ahead of the Sun which is another auspicious yoga for the bountiful rainfall.
  3. However, the lagna is in Paap Kartari Yoga in both Rashi and Navamsha of the Ardra Pravesh chart. This yoga can give destruction to the crops in the initial stages of sowing particularly in southern states of the country during the month of June. Southern and central states can get excess rainfall during the month of June.
  4. Mars will remain behind the Sun throughout the monsoon season (June-September). There will be around 95% to 100% of rainfall foreseen as per the long period average (LPA) . In year 2022 the LPA for the south-west monsoon season (June-September) has been revised to 868.8 mm based on the data from 1971 to 2020.
  5. Monsoon may reach UP and Delhi-NCR early The official date for the onset of monsoon in eastern Uttar Pradesh is 20th of June, in western Uttar Pradesh it is 25th and in Delhi-NCR it is 1st of July. This year the south-west monsoon may drench this region a bit early which will be good for the farmers of Uttar Pradesh in particular. In the last week of June around 28th and 29th there will be very good rainfall in the western Uttar Pradesh. Delhi-NCR may also receive good rainfall around this time. Mercury will enter into watery sign Cancer on the 29th of June will bring very good rainfall in the Delhi-NCR region during the first week of June month.

The horoscope of the Sun’s entry into Leo shows some dangerous combinations for an earthquake in many parts of the world. The earthquake prone regions of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Parts of India will get some tremors. The concentration of major planets Jupiter, Mars and Saturn in mutual Kendra in close degrees is a surest indication of a big earthquake which will affect India in the month of August especially during the middle of the month. There will be less than normal rainfall in the eastern states like Odisha, Assam, West Bengal etc in the second half of August month. On the Full Moon (Purnima) of 20th of August there will be more danger of destruction from an earthquake, landslides and cloud burst in the hilly areas of India and Pakistan.

Destructive rainfall will bring losses of lives and properties in Gujarat and Maharashtra in the second fortnight of August month. On the 22nd of August Mercury will move into Cancer sign from Leo in retrograde motion which will bring extremely heavy rainfall in many parts of the country.

Delayed withdrawal of monsoon foreseen

In the month of September, the Sun will enter into Virgo on the 17th and receive the aspect of Jupiter which would be transiting in Taurus sign. This will bring fresh spell of rainfall in the southern peninsular of the country. There will be delayed withdrawal of south-west monsoon from central India due to the aspect of Jupiter on the Sun which would be transiting in Virgo sign in conjunction with Mercury and Ketu bringing some erratic rainfall in the central and southern parts of the country. The state of Bihar and Jharkhand signify by Taurus sign will get good rainfall in the second fortnight of September and also in the first week of October.

Conclusion: As per the planetary directions discussed above there is likely to be an early onset of south-west monsoon over Kerala this year. In the month of June there will be more than the normal rainfall in Southern states, central parts of India and also in hilly region of North India particularly in Uttarakhand. During 1st of June to 16th of July there will be more than normal rainfall in the country. In the month of August-September there could be less than normal rainfall. During the entire south-west monsoon season (June-September) there will be 95% to 100% of rainfall foreseen. The southern and western parts of the country will get more than normal rainfall. There will be a danger of strong earthquakes during the month of June and also in August. The incident of could burst, landslides and flash floods will give heavy losses of lives and properties in UP, Bihar and Uttarakhand during the month of June this year.

Jupiter’s transit from Taurus sign will give good production of milk products as the availability of fodder for the animals will be in abundance  due to good monsoon rains this year.

Horoscope of Sun Enters into Sagittarius (Dhanu Samkranti) 2024 – What it foretells ?

The horoscope formed at the time of change of the Sun’s zodiac sign is called Sankranti Kundali or Solar Ingress Chart. Since the Sun remains in one zodiac sign only for 30 days, the predictions of this solar ingress horoscope related to major political, social, economic and judicial developments is applicable for a month only. At the time of Sun’s transit in Sagittarius sign,  Mars is conjunct with Gulika in Scorpio and Mars is also making a mutual aspect relation with Saturn who is transiting in Aquarius at present. Mars is looking at Saturn from its fourth aspect and Saturn is looking at Mars from  its 10th  aspect. By looking at Mars from the tenth aspect, a situation of extremely explosive and major political upheaval is being created by Saturn which is the planet of democracy in mundane astrology. Here from the astrological point of view, it is worth seeing that the foundation horoscope  of the Leo Ascendant of the United States of America has the Moon in the seventh house in Aquarius.

Now superimpose the planets at the time of Solar Ingress of Sagittarius at the foundation horoscope of USA given above. At present  the transit of Saturn is in Aquarius which is the natal Moon sign of USA.  And the fourth aspect of Mars on the natal Moon of USA is a  a sign of major ups and downs in its foreign affairs. As per Hindu Astrology Vimshottari Dasha system USA  is going through the inauspicious major Dasha period of Rahu and Sub Period of Saturn in it. This period of Rahu-Saturn in the Leo lagna foundation horoscope of USA from 21st of November 2023 to 27th of September 2026 will give him debt crisis, high inflation, higher spending on weapons, political disturbances and violence in the country.

In the coming days, America will be involved in putting up diplomatic pressure in the conspiracy case of murder of so-called Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. USA will  put diplomatic pressure on Indian officials due to which the situation between the two countries will be somewhat uncomfortable. Winter will be less than normal and there is a possibility of some untoward incidents

During the season of winters  the watery planet Jupiter is transiting in Aries, which is a sign of fire element. Due to the effect of this transit of Jupiter, there will be less fog in winter this year but the rainfall will be good in North India. On 27th December of Mars will change sign and move into Sagittarius which  will bring some  rain in many states of North India .  Mars at present is under the aspect of Saturn but after changing sign into Sagittarius it will get the 9th aspect of Jupiter which will bring some rains and the temperature will drop suddenly with the onset of extreme could wave in North and Central parts of India.

After December 27, the weather will suddenly take a turn due to heavy snowfall in the Himalayas and the cold wave will be intense in North India and Central India. But this year, due to Saturn being in Aquarius, the effect of winter will reduce in Western India and North-Eastern Parts  India. As the Sun moves  into Sagittarius on the 16th December it will come under the asupcious 9th aspect of Jupiter, so the hike  in gold prices will be curbed for a few days. Later on the 27th December due to Mars moving into Sagittarius the current hyper movements  in the stock market will also be curbed. At present the mutual aspect between Mars and Saturn is a major cause for the high inflation and surge into stock markets investments by small investors. But the situation will become normal after 27th of December when Mars will move into Sagittarius where it will receive the aspect of the celestial moderator Jupiter.

In the Solar Ingress of Sagittarius horoscope (chart 1)  the Taurus ascendant is rising, which is also the birth ascendant of the foundation horoscope of independent India. Sun being in the eighth house in the Sankranti horoscope and Saturn’s aspect  on Mars which is  in the seventh house is giving an astrological indication for  a difficult situation for the Central Government due to some major untoward incident in the next 30 days. Saturn placed  in the tenth house in both Rashi and Navamsha of the Solar Ingress horoscope is indicating that the Central Government may bring some strict and controversial laws in the ongoing winter session of the parliament. Also, since the 7th house is the house of opposition parties so the affliction to the 7th house in Solar Ingress chart shows major strife between the opposition I.N.D.I.A alliance and the ruling BJP in next one month.

Planets and Forecasting Trends for the Winter Season 2023-24

At the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio this year the close conjunction of Mars and Sun and the aspect of natural malefic Saturn on it is a yoga for less than normal yield during the winter harvest. There is no aspect of any natural benefic planet on the Sun so the winter season is likely to be moderate this year though in the month of February 2024 there will be lots of unseasonal rainfall due to the conjunction of 4 planets in watery sign Capricorn. As per the classical texts of astro-meteorology Sun, Mars and Saturn are dry planets. Moon, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter are watery planets. Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces are watery sign’s. Leo, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Taurus are dry. Aquarius, Gemini and Libra also produce less rainfall or snowfall. The position of planets with respect to the Sun is considered very important for the forecasting of seasonal trends, rain or snowfall, temperature, winds etc .

This year at the time of Sun’s entry into Sagittarius it will receive the aspect of Jupiter on it. As per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar if any planet at the time of changing its sign get the aspect of Jupiter, then it gives rains. So, after Sun’s entry into Sagittarius on the 16th of December there will be some rainfall activity in the Southern Peninsular and also in the Himalayan region. In the horoscope of Sun’s entry into Sagittarius Mars is behind Sun in the watery sign Scorpio and is in Navamsha of Capricorn which is another watery sign as per the texts of Astro-meteorology. Mercury is ahead of Sun in degrees which will bring lots of windstorms in the Southern peninsular as the classical text Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar says that if Mercury is ahead of Sun, then it brings lots of winds.

Mars behind Sun in degrees is good for the rainfall activity so during this winter season the rainfall during the month of December is expected to be normal only.

Mars and Mercury changing sign will bring rainfall 

On the 27th of December Mars will move into Sagittarius and Mercury in retrograde motion will come back to Scorpio from the sign Sagittarius. This important change of sign by both Mars and Mercury will bring some sudden rainfall activity in Southern Peninsula’s Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. In North India many states will get light rainfall and cloudy weather. Himalayan regions will get more than normal snowfall activity which will bring chilly winds in the planes of North India especially in Delhi-NCR as Scorpio sign will have two watery planets Venus and Mercury in it. On the eve of New Year 2024 Moon will be in Cancer in trine from Venus and Mercury in Scorpio which will bring rainfall activity in many parts of the country including central India.

In the horoscope of Makar Samkranti i.e. Sun’s entry into Capricorn there are yoga’s for less than normal rainfall activity as malefic Saturn and Rahu are ahead of Sun. As per the classical texts of astrometeorology should malefic be ahead of Sun then there will be less than normal rainfall. But since here Jupiter is in Kendra from Sun and the Venus is in the 11th house this will ensure the prices of essential commodities will be under control. The weather in North India will be very cold but there will not be much rainfall during the middle of January to middle of February.

During the month of January Mars will be ahead of benefic planets Venus and Mercury. As per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar when natural malefic planets are ahead of natural benefic planets then there will be less than normal rainfall. So, the month of January will give a smaller number of cold wave days and there will be less than normal snowfall in the Himalayan region of India. So, the North and North-Eastern states will get moderate winter season in early 2024.

On the 28th of January 2024 Mercury will cross Mars in degrees in the Sagittarius sign which will bring some rainfall in the end of January and early February month. There will be some heavy show-fall in the Himalayan region in first week of February which may surprise meteorologist.

Mars in Capricorn will bring some rainfall

Mars entering into Capricorn sign on the 6th of February 2024 will bring some light rains in the central India and also in Northern parts of India. There will also be some rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This may give some losses of crops to wheat and cotton farmers in Maharashtra and also in some other parts of central India.

On the New Moon of 10th of February 2024 as many as 4 planets will be in Capricorn sign in Uttara-Ashadha, Shravana and Dhanishta Nakshatra’s. As per Koorma Chakra these Nakshatra’s falls in North-West direction. There are very high chances for a couple of  earthquake’s  measuring 6.5 or more at the Richter scale which will affect parts of Iran or Afghanistan, Pakistan and also Northern states of India around the New Moon of 10th of February.

There will also be some unseasonal rainfall in many parts of India and Pakistan which will badly affect the wheat farmers in the region during the second half of February 2024.

Overall, the winter season will be moderate only with good snowfall activity in December 2023 and February 2024 . But in the month of January 2024 there will be less than normal cold weather due to less snowfall activity in the hilly areas of Himalaya’s. The production of wheat, sesame and mustard will be less than normal during the Rabi season in India and Pakistan.

Solar Ingress of Scorpio (Vrischik Samkranti) 2023- What it foretells ?

According to the Indian Standard time at 01:18 a.m.  on 17th of November, Sun has entered Scorpio sign. In the Solar Ingress or Surya  Sankranti horoscope formed at the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio, the Leo ascendant is rising and most of the planets are involved with  the ninth lord Mars or the 9th house which is Aries. In mundane astrology, the ninth house is especially seen in relation to auspicious and inauspicious events related to the Supreme Court’s Judgements, legal processes, foreign trade and religion related matters. At the time of Surya Sankranti, it is Thursday ruled by Jupiter as per the Hindu weekday system. Due to the day lord Jupiter being in the ninth house and being aspected by Saturn, the planet of justice, there are astrological indications of some major decisions of the Supreme Court making the headlines of the media. Recently, in the first week of September, the Supreme Court of India has reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of all the parties in the case of removal of Section 370 by the central government. In the current Surya Sankranti or Solar Ingress of Scorpio horoscope, the influence of big planets like Jupiter and Saturn on the ninth house is astrologically indicating that in the case of Section 370 the Judgement of the Supreme Court may come next month in December.

Government will get victory in the case of removal of Article 370, but may face setback in other matters.

The aspect  of Jupiter transiting in Aries  on  the Libra sign , which is   the zodiacal  sign of Jammu and Kashmir, and the aspects  of  the Sun, Mercury and Mars on the tenth house of Solar Ingress  horoscope, is an astrological indication of the victory for the Central Government in the Supreme Court in the case of removal of Article 370 next month. But the court can give instructions to the central government to conduct the assembly elections in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. In the Surya Sankranti horoscope, the conjunction of the Sun in the nearest degrees with Mars is being under the 10th aspect  by a natural malefic Saturn from the seventh house is a dangerous combination. Due to which there may be some changes in the cabinet of the Central Government and there are chances of some big ministers and officers getting embroiled in controversies in the next 30 days.

The zodiacal sign of Delhi-NCR is Scorpio which is at present afflicted due to the transit of Sun, Mars and Mercury in it  and the 10th aspect of malefic Saturn.  Due to this in the ongoing ‘National Capital Region Pollution’ case in the Supreme Court of India , the Central Government and the concerned State Governments may get a severe blow. Along with this, there will be more incidents of fire and earthquake in Delhi-NCR in the next 30 days which will give some troubles to the people in this region.

The month of December is very important for the major Rabi crops like wheat, barley, peas, gram and mustard in North India. The position of other planets from the Sun in the  Solar Ingress of  Scorpio or Vrischik Surya Sankranti horoscope determines the yield of Rabi winter crops.
This year, at the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio , the conjunction of Mars with the Sun and the presence of Saturn in the quadrant (Kendra)   from the Sun is an indication of a  short winter and lack of rain which is not very good indication for  the Rabi crop yield. But since in the 2nd  houses from the Sun we have the Moon being positioned and the aspect of  Jupiter  on it is giving some assurance that despite of low rainfall activity farmers will be able to make up for some loses.  Venus being situated in the 11th house from the Sun also assured that despite all the difficulties, farmers are likely to get some satisfactory results. But the Rabi yield this year may be slightly less as compared to  the last year. And winter may also be slightly less than the normal. This winter season may also be somewhat disappointing for manufacturers of woolen clothes.

There will be big political stir in America and Pakistan

At the time of Sun’s Scorpio Sankranti, the presence of all the major malefic planets in the quadrant of America’s Leo sign foundation horoscope is creating a very inauspicious situation.
The USA, which is in the inauspicious Maha dasha of Rahu, may have to face heavy pressure from its Arab friendly countries like Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar etc. to stop the Hamas-Israel war. Mars and Saturn are in Scorpio and Aquarius respectively. The natural zodiacal sign of USA is Gemini from where these malefic planets  are afflicting the 6th house of violence and the 9th house of foreign relations. Saturn-Mars ‘Samsaptaka Yoga’ in July-August 2023

On the coming June 30the, Mars will leave Cancer and enter Leo sign, where it will remain till August 18th. Mars usually transits in one sign for 45 to 50 days. If any other malefic planet such as Saturn, Rahu-Ketu or Sun comes in the Kendra (quadrant) position from the transiting Mars, then due to some violent incidents, natural calamities and inflation etc., the general public suffers is what classical texts of Mundane astrology has generally discussed.  This time, during the transit of Mars in Leo for 48 days, Saturn will be in Aquarius.  Saturn in its retrograde motion, right in front of Mars making a  ‘Samasaptak Yoga’ will bring some upheavals and political violence. Interestingly during the same time there will be an ‘Adhikmaas’ or Additional month. This year the lunar month of Shravana has Adhikmaas about which classical text gives some bad results related with an erratic rainfall and an earthquake. The Adhikmaas will be from 18 July to 16 August about which i had earlier discussed in my article ‘Forecasting Trends for the South-West Monsoon in 2023‘.

The aspects between malefic planets like Mars and Saturn will afflict Leo and Aquarius signs. It affects the axis of fourth-tenth houses  in the horoscope of independent India,  the lagna and 7th house  in  USA foundation horoscope and twelfth and sixth houses axis in the Russia’s foundation horoscopes. We will study the effects of these individually on all three charts in this post.

Gold and silver prices may increase 

According to Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar the  gold, silver, copper and red colored items become expensive during the transit of Mars in Leo. Interestingly, at the time of this transit of Mars in Leo (30 July to 18 August) , Venus will also enter Leo sign  on the July 7th , where due to its retrograde position, it will stay for a long time.
This transit of Venus and Mars in Leo and their opposition with Saturn is an astrological indication of a new political debates and populist policies on women’s and farmers issues in the country. Since Leo is the fourth house of India’s Taurus ascendant horoscope and Aquarius is the 10th house where Saturn is transiting at present. Therefore, this transit of Mars and Venus is also a sign of change in the Union Cabinet in the coming few days. Heart Related Diseases will Increase

Alarming rise in the sudden heart attack death cases in India has prompted the Health Ministery of India to direct AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) to conduct research on the matter. The report will get published by ICMR after the study of sudden rise in cardiac arrest cases after the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

In Vedic Astrology Leo is the sign of heart in natural zodiac. As per classical text on medical astrology Veerasimahavalokam if Sun is in Aquarius in a natal horoscope, then person have risk of a  heart ailment. There will be abnormal rainfall during the next 45 days during the monsoon season, especially after July 7th when Bihar and Uttar Pradesh will receive extremely heavy rains, but Delhi, Punjab and Haryana may receive less than normal rainfall. In the lunar month of Jyeshtha Sun was in Rohini Nakshatra during 25th of May to 5th of June. During that time there was unseasonal rainfall in Delhi-NCR, while in Eastern UP and Bihar scorching heat gave trouble to the people. At the time of Sun’s transit from Rohini such weather symptoms are a clear indication for the erratic rainfall in coming days. There will be losses of lives and properties due to flood in Eastern UP and Bihar. But in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana rainfall  may be less than the normal. Similarly Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will also receive extreme heavy rainfall during the Adhikamss period from 18th of July to 16th of August this year.

An earthquake of more than 6.7 at rector scale can come around the time of Amavasya of 17th of July which may give troubles to the people living in Himalayan region. Mars, Mercury and Venus will be ahead of Sun during this period which is a yoga for erratic rainfall. There will be losses of lives and properties in some parts of West and Central India due to heavy rains.

In the  Virgo ascendant of Russia, the period of a difficult Vinshottari dasha of Rahu-Mars-Saturn is running from 6th June to 5th August.  Rahu is in the 5th house along with Saturn and Moon showing a period of agony for Russia. In Russia’s Virgo Ascendant horoscope, transit of eighth lord Mars over Gulika in the 12th  house of loss is a sign of some major national crisis in the month of July. Forecasting Trends for the South-West Monsoon 2023 for India

In my last post on weather forecast with title ‘Forecasting Trends for the Summer Season 2023 for India’, i had predicted less number of heat waves during the summer season this year. As per the Indian Meteorological Department report the country as a whole has received 16% excess rainfall during the period from 1st  March 2023 to 17th  May 2023. This excess rainfall has been more in the Central India during the month of April this year. I had forecast the onset of pre-monsoon rainfall activity in the Southern Peninsula from the 15th of May onward after the entry of Sun into Taurus sign . At present Sun is about to enter Rohini Nakshatra in Taurus sign on the 25th of May where it will stay till 7th of June. This period of 10 days is known as ‘Dasha Tapa’ in North and Central  India when the extreme heat wave bring hot weather conditions. In Southern Peninsular we normally get pre-monsoon and South-West Monsoon rainfall during this period of Sun’s transit from Rohini Nakshatra.

Forecasting Trends for the Summer Season 2023 for India

Interestingly both Indian Meteorological Department and Skymet  Weather has forecast a  delay in South-West Monsoon this year. IMD has forecast the arrival of South-West Monsoon  on the 4th of June, whereas Skymet weather agency has predicted the onset of South-West Monsoon only on the 7th of June in Kerala.

Astrological Predictions for South-West Monsoon 2023 for India

As per my humble understanding the position of Mercury and Jupiter in Aries just a sign behind the Sun is a classical yoga for good rainfall activity. This yoga has been mention in ‘Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar’. Although Mars is transiting ahead of Sun but it is more than 90 degrees ahead. Also Venus, a watery planet, is also about to join Mars in the sign Cancer. At the time of Full Moon of 4th of June these yoga’s for good rainfall activity has been present as we can see in the horoscope given above. So by the time of 4th of June the IMD may have to declare the onset of South-West Monsoon in Kerala state.

Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu will get good rainfall during the fortnight starting from 4th of June. The state of West Bengal and Assam will also get decent rainfall as the sign Aries, indicating North-East, is having benefic planets Mercury and Jupiter.

Tithi: Shukla Panchami , Nakshatra: Ashlesha , Yoga: Harshana , Karana : Bava, Vaar: Thursday

The Panchang parameters for Sun’s entry into Ardra Nakshatra are favorable. The Tithi Shukla Panchamai and weekday Thursday is auspicious as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar. The Yoga Harshana and Karana Bava is also good though Nakshatra Ashlesha is inauspicious. At the time of Sun’s entry into Ardra a watery sign Scorpio is rising at the ascendant getting the aspect of watery planet Mercury and a dry planet Saturn which shows possibility of an erratic rainfall.

Erratic Rainfall and Destruction of Crops foreseen

 In the Ardra Pravesh Kundali Moon is in watery sign Cancer but in Navamsha it goes into Aquarius an airy sign. Moon is in conjunction with lagna and 6th lord Mars. The degree conjunction of Moon with a dry planet Mars in the watery sign indicate a very erratic rainfall. The distribution of rainfall as per time and space will not be normal during the entire South-West Monsoon season (June to September) which is not a good news for the farmers.

The position of Saturn in the 4th house of harvest and agriculture is inauspicious and it get the bad aspect of Mars also. This combination shows destruction of crops due to erratic rainfall. The south-west monsoon will come on its schedule time in most of the southern states and also in north eastern  parts of the country due to favorable Mars transit from Cancer, a watery sign, but the distribution of rain will be highly erratic. Then in the month of July the opposition of Mars and Saturn at the axis of Leo and Aquarius shows less than normal rainfall activity. This will give troubles to the farmers in North Indian states resulting into delay in sowing ‘monsoon crops’ (kharif crops) such as rice, maize, corn and peas etc. The production of rice (Paddy) in Punjab and Haryana states will get adversely affected due to poor rainfall in the month of July this year.

As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) the benchmark to measure South-West rainfall is 868.6 mm as normal rainfall which is calculated on the basis of rainfall data over a period of 50 years from 1971 to 2020. As per my humble understanding the south-west monsoon will give around 95% of the LPA (long period average) this year.

Timely Entry of Monsoon Rains Foreseen  in Delhi-NCR

The official date for the entry of South-West monsoon in Delhi is 1st of July. This year is it likely to hit the capital on the 2nd or 3rd of July when Moon will be in Sagittarius getting the aspect of Jupiter from Aries and Mercury-Sun from Gemini. Moon getting the aspect of benefic planet on the day of ‘Poornima’ (full Moon) is a yoga for very good rainfall as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar.

Astrological Forecast for South-West Monsoon in Delhi-NCR in 2023

Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Western-UP will get decent rainfall in the first fortnight of July. The South-West monsoon will cover the entire North India before 15th of July. Venus ahead of Sun is another good yoga for rainfall as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar.

Adhimaasa and Erratic Rainfall (18th of  July to 16th of August)

This year the lunar month of ‘Shravana’ has ‘Adhikmaas’ i.e. an additional month. When a lunar month do not have a ‘Samkranti of Sun’ then it is called ‘Adhimaasa’ or additional month. The adjustment of ‘Adhimaasa’ and ‘Kshayamaasa’ is done for the reconcilement of solar year of 365 days and lunar year of 354 days. This year an ‘Adhimaasa’ or additional lunar month will come from 18th of July to 16th of August. As per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar’s ‘Adhikmassa Phalam Adhyay’ if there is an ‘Adhikmaasa’ (additional month) in Shravana then there will be obstruction in rain and losses of lives and properties.

During the period of ‘Adhikmaasa Shravana’ (18 July to 16 August) the rainfall will be below than normal as there will be an opposition of Mars and Saturn at the axis of Leo and Aquarius which are dry sign’s mostly.

Interestingly ‘Karka Samkranti’ will fall on the day of ‘Amavasya’ (No Moon) this year which is classical ‘Khappar Yoga’ as per Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar ‘Samkranti Phalam Adhyay’. This condition can give losses of lives and properties due to natural calamities. There will be a danger of an earthquake and land-slides in the Northern region of Himalayas during mid of July to mid of August this year. During this period there will be less than normal rains in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar and Jharkhand. While central parts of India like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and some parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat will get more than normal rainfall. Chatur-Graha Yoga : Danger for South-East Asia

A conjunction of four planets (Sun, Mercury, Moon and Mars) on the day of Simha Samkranti (Sun’s entry into Leo) is indicating a danger in the South-East direction as per ‘Koorma Chakra’. Planets in ‘Magha, Poorva Phalguni and Uttara-Phalguni’ shows chances of an earthquake in South-East Asia. Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia may suffer losses of life and properties due to some Tsunami and Earthquake. While in India the state of Orissa will suffer from heavy rainfall as four planets in Leo are getting aspect of Jupiter from Aires.

Heavy rains in Orissa and South-Eastern parts of India will give trouble to the people during last fortnight of August and also in first half of September.

At the time of Full Moon on 31st August 2023 Saturn will be ‘Ati Vakri’ i.e. retrograde motion in direct opposition with Sun which will bring obstruction in rain in the Northern Parts of India. Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana and UP will receive less than normal rainfall in the month of September. Mars will be ahead of Sun which is another yoga for obstruction in rainfall. Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala will also get less than normal rainfall during the month of September.

Overall, the total rainfall will be around 95% of the Long Period Average with uneven distribution as per time and space during the entire South-West monsoon season.
