Forecasting trends of the South-West Monsoon 2018 in India

June 2, 2018 By Sachin Malhotra

The month of June has begun with a 10 day strike of farmers declared by ‘All India Kisan Mahasangh, which is likely to affect the supply of fruits, vegetables and milk across many states including Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashatra being the prominent. I had predicted about a nationwide strike of farmer and laborers in summer season in my post  ‘Hindu New Year Horoscope 2018 and Forecast for India’  published on 23rd of March. I had also given a forecast of ‘erratic monsoon season in 2018’ in this article. The major astrological reason for these two predictions was the presence of Saturn-Mars in the 4th house of the Hindu New Year horoscope and the long stay of Mars in Capricorn. Because of these two factors and some other astrological combinations the South-West monsoon in 2018 will be highly erratic and bring lots of damage to the crops of farmers.

In my article published in the June issue of the Express Start Teller magazines i have  given this forecast on south-west monsoon that thought the Full Moon horoscope of 29th of May 2018 suggest the timely onset of monsoon over Kerala on the 29th and 30th of May but its progress will be slow later on particularly once the Sun and Saturn will come into opposition in the mid of June. The rainfall till 17th of July will be below average only but later with the entry of Sun into Cancer sign will bring good rainfall in the second week of July. The Lunar eclipse of 27/28 July will give devastating flood  in many parts of the country affecting the safety of large numbers of live stocks, humans and crops. The flood and earthquake after the lunar eclipse of 27/ 28th of July will bring losses of human lives mostly in the north and north-west parts of the country signifies by the Capricorn (Makar rashi) which is currently afflicted by the the transit of Mars and Ketu.

Now first see the Hindu New Year horoscope 2018 given below to analysis the general trends of  farming and rainfall in the year 2018-19.

Hindu New Year 2018 horoscope

17 March 2018, 18:41 hours at Delhi

Hindu New Year 2018 and forecast for India

The operation of the Hindu New year horoscope will be from March 2018 to March 2019. The year concern will give lots of damage to the crops due to unseasonable and erratic rainfall. The presence of Saturn and Mars in the 4th house of farming and land is not good. We have already seen the damage inflicted by the widespread dust storms and thunderstorms across the north India in the month of May.

The conjunction of Mars-Saturn earlier in April and then Mars-Ketu from the 3rd of May was the astrological reasoning for these unseasonable dust storms damaging the crops in North Indian states. Capricorn sign specially signifies the north and the north-west direction. Mars and Ketu in Makar rashi will all create a havoc of flood in this area particularly after the lunar eclipse of 27/28 July which will be falling in his rashi only. In the Hindu New Year horoscope given above the 6th lord Saturn and the 8th lord Mars shows strikes and strife by farmers which will take the violent turn in days to come.

Ardra Pravesh of Sun

22 June 2018, 11:11 hours at Delhi

Forecasting south-west monsoon rain in 2018

The important features of the Sun’s entry into Ardra horoscope are given below.

  1. The Sun enters into the Ardra Nakshatra on the Friday ruled by Venus which is a watery planet.
  2. But the entry of Sun into Ardra asterism is going to take place in the afternoon which is not considered very well for rainfall prospects. If the Sun enters into the Ardra Nakshatra close to the mid night then it is taken as a very positive sign for good rainfall.
  3. The ascendant is Leo a fiery sign receiving the aspect of Mars. But the two benefic planets, Moon and Venus, on the either side of the ascendant are good. In Navamsha the benefic sign Libra is rising which is also positive.
  4. The lord of ascendant, which is Sun, receiving the aspects of Jupiter and Saturn shows average rainfall.
  5. The mutual aspect between the Sun and Saturn shows that there will be record breaking heat waves at the time of Sun’s entry into Ardra. In the last fortnight of June the North and Western part of the country will be boiling with excess temperature. The states of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan will be under the blistering heat waves in the last fortnight of June.
  6. Moon receiving the aspect from Saturn in the Rashi chart and in Navamsha  is  under the aspect of Jupiter again shows very average rainfall. Moon is in Virgo which is a dry sign.
  7. The retrograde Mars in mutual aspect with Venus in watery sign shows destruction by flood at many places so the distribution of rainfall will be highly uneven. The period from 16 July to 17 August , the time when Sun will be in Cancer, will give destructive flood in central and north-west part of the country.
  8. The Gemini sign, signifying west Bengal state, is receiving the aspect of dry planet Saturn and so is the Virgo sign which signifies the southern peninsular. It indicates less than normal rains particularly in West Bengal, Karnataka , Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesha, Telangana etc.
  9. The overall planetary position in the Ardra Pravesh chart suggest around 95% of rain fall during the south-west monsoon season. The retrograde Saturn in fiery sign Sagittarius in opposition with Sun showing below normal rainfall in the month of June and also during the first fortnight of July.

As per the classical text Bhavishya Phala Bhaskara the Saturn in Sagittarius gives less than normal rain.

Transliteration: Dhanurasho Sithatha Sorigarjitoapi Na Varshite

Tyoheena Dhara Tatra Durbhiksha Cha Vinidishet ll

English Translation: When the Saturn transit through the Sagittarius sign the even the thundering clouds do not give rain. There is a scarcity of water on the earth which gives draught at many places.

{ Reference: Page number 54 of the Bhavishya Phala Bhaskara published by Venketeshwara Press Mumbai. Sanskrit Stanza number 12 in the ‘Shani-Chaar’ chapter.

Progress of Monsoon in Central India

On the 14th of June on the day of Amavasya the Moon will join Sun in the Taurus sign. The Mercury will be in Gemini and Venus in Cancer. The two benefic planets ahead of luminaries (Sun and Moon) on the day of New Moon on the 14th of June will give a very good spell of rains. The period of one week from the 14th of June to 21st of June will be good for the progress of the south-west monsoon. There will be very good rainfall in Chattishgarh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra. The Mumbai will receive very good rainfall from the 14th of June to 21sth of June.

When will Monsoon express reach in Delhi and North India ?

At the time of Full Moon of 28th of June the Mercury and Venus are ahead of Sun in a watery sign Cancer. Mars aspect them from Capricorn which is another watery sign showing rain. The Sun and Venus are in Capricorn (Makar) Navamsha. Saturn and Moon are in Cancer Navamsha. Jupiter is in Pisces Navamsha. So as many as 5 planets posted in the Navamsha of watery signs shows good prospects of rain on after the Full Moon of 28th of June thus we can expect a timely entry of south-west monsoon in Delhi-NCR then. The official time for the entry of monsoon in Delhi is 29th of June. It is highly likely that around this time there will be rain in the Delhi-NCR and also in parts of western U.P. However, the amount of rainfall will not be sufficient even in the first fortnight of June as the Saturn will be in direct opposition with Sun in the transit. A retrograde Mars with close degrees of Ketu, which give changeable weather, is another indicator of uneven distribution of rain.

Karka Samkranti horoscope or Sun’s entry into Cancer

16 July 2018, 22:27 hours at Delhi

Forecasting south-west monsoon rain in 2018

Forecasting south-west monsoon rain in 2018

At the time of Sun’s entry into Cancer the Mars in watery sign Capricorn will be in opposition with Mercury in Cancer which is another watery sign. So this will bring good rain in the north  and central parts of the country. Jupiter and Saturn in the watery Navamsha sign is also a good indication for the progress of monsoon after 16th of July which will bring heavy rainfall in the northern states like Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh etc. The condition of rainfall will also improve in other parts of the country.

Forecast of Flood in Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissha and Assam in July-August 2018

Mercury getting retrograde in the Cancer sign on the 26th of July will bring destructive floods in many parts of the country in next 15 days.  Sun and Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra will bring flood in east direction states Bihar, Jharkhand and Assam. The Pushya Nakshatra signifies east direction. The Mercury getting retrograde in Ashlesha Nakshatra will bring heavy rain and flood in South-East direction signifies by Orissha. The destructive flood in these states will continue to create havoc from 26th of July to the mid of August.

Lunar Eclipse of  27/28 July 2018  and danger of Flood in North-West India

The lunar eclipse will be falling in the Capricorn sign and Shravana Nakshatra signifying north-west direction. At the time of this eclipse Sun, Mercury, Mars and Moon are in watery rashi’s. In Navamsha Mars, Mercury and Jupiter are in Pisces the watery sign. Venus is in Scorpio Navamsha another watery sign. So the more number of planets occupying the watery rashi’s and Navamsha at the time of lunar eclipse can bring abnormally higher rainfall. The period from 28th of July to the 15th of August will bring destructive rainfall in the eastern, south-east and north-west direction. The state of Himachal Pradesh will get heavy rain and landslides incurring losses of lives. There will be floods in many parts of Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana. There are also chances of a strong earthquake destroying lives and properties in large numbers in the northern states. This earthquake may come within 15 days of this lunar eclipse falling on the 28th of July.

Danger of Cyclone after the New Moon of 11 August 2018

astrological prediction of cyclone in the month of August 2018

Now see the horoscope of New Moon of the 11th of August 2018. The rising sign is Scorpio and Navamsha is Pisces both are watery rashi’s. Sun joining Mercury and Rahu in Cancer at close degrees can bring a cyclone in the south-east direction signifies by Ashlesha Nakshatra. There will be threat of heavy rainfall due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. There could be a destructive cyclone affecting the Orissa and Andhra Pradesh. This will bring heavy rainfall at these places during the second fortnight of August. In the Central parts of the country there will be more than normal rainfall due to this low pressure system in the Bay of Bengal. The state of Chattishgarh and Madhya Pradesh will receive good rainfall in the month of August this year.

Later Venus joining Jupiter in the Libra sign on the 1st of September will bring good rainfall at many places including western direction. The Mars and Saturn moving into direct motion from their retrogression in the first week of September will bring good rainfall. The month of September will be very productive for the rainfall as the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus is a good yoga for rain. There will be more than normal rainfall in the month of September this year at most of the places in India. The south-west monsoon will retreat very late from many places particularly from the north and western parts of the country.

The rainfall will be less than normal till the 17th of July. Afterwards the situation will improve particularly from the total lunar eclipse of 28th of July 2018 which will bring lots of relief for the farmers. The month of August and September will bring more than normal rainfall for the season. Overall the total rainfall is likely to be around 95% of the long period average for the south-west monsoon season (June to September).

Saturn-Mars planetary war and forecasting summer trends in 2018

March 31, 2018 By Sachin Malhotra

On the coming 2nd of April a rare astronomical phenomena of the proximity of Saturn-Mars in the sky will be a treat to watch at night. The close conjunction of Saturn and Mars will be visible from the 1st of April to the 7th of April in the night sky when the disks of these two outer planets will appear to be very close to each other.

In astrology the close degree conjunction of any of the two planets, except luminaries ( Sun and Moon), is know as ‘Graha-Yuddha’ or Planetary war. In natal astrology the conjunction between any of the Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn within one degree is very carefully watch in a horoscope. In Mundane astrology when the longitude and declination of any of the two planets comes very close then their disks appear to be touching each other in a view from earth. Such position of planets is called ‘Graha-Yuddha’ or Planetary war. The results of the planetary war have been explained in detail in the Brihat Samhita of Varahamihira in the ‘Graha-Yuddha’ Adhayaa. There are 5 conditions to judge the winner in this planetary war. These conditions include the appearance, brightness, color, longitude and declination etc. of the two concerned planets. As per some authorities Mars is always a winner in planetary war.

The planetary war happen between the five Tara Graha i.e. Mercury, Venus, Mars , Jupiter and Saturn. When any of these two are within one degree of longitude and declination then the ‘Graha-Yuddha’ happen. This is a rare astronomical phenomena as planets may come within one degree distance many times a year but the Graha-Yuddha happen only when their declination is also similar so that their disk started appearing very close to each other. This condition will be fulfilling in case of Saturn and Mars after many years. On the coming 2nd of April we can see these two planets very close to each other in the night sky. The astrological impact of it is going to be dreaded as mention in Brihat Samhita according to which the war between kinds , fire accidents and loss of armed forces may happen under such condition. Since this planetary war between these two malefic planets is going to happen in Sagittarius which is the sign of war and authority so its signification are going to affect a lot in a very dramatic manner.

Possibilities of an Earthquake in April 2018

In mundane astrology this situation has been found to be giving extreme weather conditions and natural calamities. There is also a possibility of an earthquake in the first fortnight of April due to the planetary war between Saturn and Mars. The parts of Uttarakhand and Western U.P. signified by Sagittarius may get some tremors of an earthquake. Nepal may also get affect by an earthquake around that time. Apart from this a major earthquake may rock the south-america as the Saturn and Mars would be having at the southern declination in the month of April during their close conjunction.

Now see the Full Moon horoscope of concern forth-night given below.

Full Moon

31 March 2018, 18:06 hours at Delhi

Saturn-Mars planetary war in 2018

You can notice the close conjunction of Saturn and Mars in Sagittarius in the Full Moon horoscope of the 31st of March. This conjunction of Saturn and Mars in fiery sign at the onset of summer season is a signal of above normal temperature at many places. Mars and Saturn are in the Navamsha of Leo which another fiery sign is showing the possibility of record breaking hot temperature from the first week of April. In India the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Chattishgarh etc. will receive excessive heat waves in the first fortnight of April. There will be fire accidents in the jungles at many places. The hilly areas of Uttarakhand signifies by Sagittarius will receive above normal temperature for the season which may surprise the meteorologist. Venus transiting from Aries in mutual aspect with Jupiter though gives some showers in the states of eastern and north-eastern direction. However, in southern peninsular (south Indian states) there will be less than normal pre-monsoon rain during this year. This phenomenon of above normal temperature will continue till the end of April.

Summer trends around the world

After the full Moon day of 16th of April the temperature will start increasing at higher levels around many countries of the world. It will be above normal on many days due to the placement of Sun and Venus in Aries sign and the Saturn-Mars conjunction in Sagittarius.

The weather will be dry and hot in the countries of Northern hemisphere like in USA and Europe. The temperature will be above normal for the season and there will be less rain in the summer due to the planetary war between the two hard malefic planets Saturn and Mars. The incidents of fire in the jungles of USA, Europe, Russia and India will be higher during the month of April especially in the first fortnight. The above normal temperature situation will continue for many days in the month of May and June.

Vrishabha Samkranti 2018

Mars in Capricorn on pre-monsoon rain in southern-peninsular

Entry of Mars in Capricorn sign on the 2nd of May will bring some relief from heat for the south-Indian states. Mars in the watery sign Capricorn will bring much needed pre-monsoon rains in the southern peninsular. However, in north-western states like Punjab, Haryana, Uttarpradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan the month of May will be extremely hot due to the transit of Mars from Capricorn which as per the Koorma-Chakra signifies the North-West direction. Mercury joining Sun in Aries on the 10th of May will increase the effects of heat waves across north India. The north-eastern state will also face the problem of above normal temperature then.

Sun’s entry into Taurus and predictions about summer crops in 2018

At the time of Sun’s entry into Taurus there will be no benefic planet in Kendra from Sun which as per Varahamihira is not very promising for the crops of the season. There could be some disturbances in the sowing of seeds due to deficiency of pre-monsoon rain at many places. But since the Sun has benefic planets on the either side of it so the production of crops for the season will be normal. Venus in the 2nd house from Sun and the Mercury and Moon in the 12th from Sun are receiving the aspect of Jupiter are showing the developing of favorable conditions for the timely onset of south-west monsoon. After the Sun’s entry into Taurus there will be some improvement in the weather conditions in the southern states in particular. The pre-monsoon rain activity will start becoming normal and there will be some rains in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka etc.  This will reduce the effects of heat waves in the south and central India during the second fortnight of May. However, since the transit of Sun between the Venus and Mercury is a combination of interruption in the rain as per the classical text ‘Bhavishya-Phala-Bhaskara’. So there will be uneven distribution of pre-monsoon rains in the southern states which may affect the sowing of crops by farmers. In the northern states there will be less than normal pre-monsoon rainfall activity in the month of May and June.

The horoscope of Sun’s entry into Taurus also shows decent production of Kharif crops which are produced during the season from April to October. The production of rice (signified by Moon) and cotton (signified by Venus) will be good in the Kharif season of 2018.

Lunar Eclipse of 31 January 2018 and forecast for India

January 27, 2018 By Sachin Malhotra

The first lunar eclipse of the year falling on the 31st of January has become a matter of curiosity for the astronomers  as the Moon on that day will be closest to the earth in its orbit, which is called super-moon,  and it will look a bit ‘reddish’ at the time when shadow of earth will fall on it. From the point of view of astrology this eclipse will bring rain , snowfall and very pleasant weather  as Moon will be in square with three benefic planets namely Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. The rain in the lunar month of ‘Magha’ will be beneficial for the farmers of India who are waiting for the Rabi crops to be getting mature for harvesting.

The horoscope of the lunar eclipse of 31st of January 2018 shows that it will generally be good for Indian economy. The central government may propose some new measures to increase the FDI (foreign direct investments) in new sectors like Railway, Tourism, hotel , banking etc. Now let us see the horoscope of the lunar eclipse of 31st of January 2018 given below.

Lunar Eclipse

31 January 2018, 18:56 hours at Delhi

astrological predictions about lunar eclipse of 31st January 2018

astrological predictions about lunar eclipse of 31st January 2018

The horoscope of lunar eclipse is caste for the moment when the luminaries Sun and Moon are at the exact  degree opposition. This is the time when the new fortnight begin just after the full Moon. This chart normally gives the trends for the next 15 days, however in case of a long duration eclipse its effect are visible for next few months. At the time of this lunar eclipse the Moon will be visible a bit ‘red’ in its shade which as per the classical text of Hindu astrology is bad for the warriors (Kshatriya’s) on the earth and may produce more violent incident than the normal. Since this eclipse will be visible in the North-America, Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia and India so such higher number of  violent incident can be expected in next 15 days at these places.

Apart from this there will be snow fall and rain in the Norther hemisphere countries like USA, Canada, Europe and Russia. Immediately after eclipse there will be heavy snowfall in these areas giving chilling weather. In Australia there will be rain in some areas giving relief from hot summer.

Cyclonic Storm Expected in Indian Ocean

The lunar eclipse falling in the watery sign Cancer is getting the aspects from the watery planets Mercury and Venus which shows that there could be more than normal rain at coastal areas due to some cyclonic storm. A low pressure in the Indian ocean may bring heavy rains in the bay of Bengal which will affect the West Bengal and Odisha.

Mars in the watery sign Scorpio shows possible snow falls in the north direction which indicates Himalayan region. In the next 15 days of this eclipse there could be more incidents of snowfall in the Himalayan states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand. In the northern plains the light rainfall will reduce the pollution and make the weather very pleasant. The fall in temperature and winter rain in the first week of February will be good for Indian farmers.

The aspect of Mercury , Venus and Sun on the Moon at the time of eclipse shows that coming days will be good for jewellery business, cotton traders,  clothes merchant, fisherman and merchant navy peoples.

Disinvestment and privatization will be opposed in India

The concentration of planets in the 6th house of the horoscope of lunar eclipse shows that in next few days there will be strikes by some section of trade unions opposing disinvestment plans of the government in various sectors. Modi government has already announced the disinvestment policy for Indian Airlines and soon it may open some other sectors for privatization which will instigate the trade unions. There will be demand for labour reforms in the country after these strikes and strife by the trade unions. Indian railway and the banking sector will be next inline for privatization.

Bhriat Samhita views on an  eclipse in Cancer sign

As per the Bhriat Samhita of Varahmihira an eclipse in Cancer sign can give troubles to Yadava’s (Ahir’s), tribes living in jungles , wrestlers and body builders, Rajasthan ( Matasya) , Haryana (Kuru) , Punjab ( Panchal) and it will increase the prices of cereals. The eclipse falling in the lunar month of ‘Magha’ gives troubles to the people living in Bengal and Odisha. A cyclonic storm may bring heavy rain in the coastal areas of Bangladesh, West Bengal and Odisha in next 15 days.

Solar Ingress of Scorpio and forecasting Winter Crops for 2018

November 8, 2017 By Sachin Malhotra

The winter crops in India is know as Rabi crops which are planted in the month of October-November and harvested in March-April months of next year. There has been an astrological tradition of giving a forecast about the possible harvest of  Kharif ( summer crops) and Rabi crops ( winter crops) since the days of Varahamihir or even before. The Acharya Varahamihir has discuss about his in the ‘Sasya Jataka Adhayaa’ of his monumental work Brihat Samhita. The horoscope cast at the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio indicate about the sustainability and harvest of the winter crops. The Varahamihira has discuss the astrological combinations in the horoscope of the solar ingress of Scorpio affecting the winter harvest.

It has also been observed that the horoscope cast at the time of solar ingress of Scorpio is also very important to judge the onset of the winter season. In the present situation when the capital of India is chocked with smog it will be interesting to see astrology if some rain can help to reduce the pollution level in north India in next few days ?

Now see the horoscope of Solar Ingress of Scorpio which is crucial to judge the summer crops of the next year (Rabi crops) and also about the trends of winter season.

Sun’s entry into Scorpio

16 November 2017 at 12:22 hours at Delhi

forecasting trends of winter season 2017-18

At the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio the Capricorn sign is rising at the ascendant. The benefic Venus and Jupiter are in the Kendra along with Moon which is a good combination for an early onset of winter season. The malefic Saturn in the 2nd house from Sun is a combination of delay in the harvesting of summer crops as per the Varahamihira. The Mars is giving aspect to the Saturn in the 2nd house from Sun which is a yoga for destruction of the summer crops. So the production of Rabi crops in 2018 is going to be just below average. The agricultural growth in the year 2016-17 was about 4.7% which is likely to remain lower than this during the financial year 2017-18. As per the Varahamihira for a bumper crop the benefic planets must be in the Kendra and/or 2nd house from the Sun in the horoscope of  Vrishabh Samkranti and Vrischik Samkranti. The malefic in the 2nd and the Kendra houses from Sun can destroy the harvest.

Rain may bring  an early Onset of Winter and relief from pollution

However, there will be an early onset of winter season this year which might surprise the meteorologist and people in general. At the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio the Jupiter and Venus, the two benefic planets, are in conjunction with Moon. The close conjunction of Jupiter and Venus will bring less than normal temperature for the season. The Venus and Jupiter behind the Sun is also a combination for an unseasonal rainfall which can destroy crops at some places especially in North and Central India. In the second fortnight of November 2017 and in early December there will be destruction of crops at some places in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Harayana, Maharashatra etc.

However, the untimely rain in the second fortnight  of November will be a blessing for Delhi-NCR people who are currently struggling with a health emergency due to heavy pollution and extremely poor level of air quality. The people in northern parts of India will get relief from smog due to some rain in the third week of November when Jupiter and Venus will be conjoined very close to each other.

Tremors expected in the mid of November

The mutual aspect between Saturn and Mars affecting the Sagittarius sign may bring some earthquake in the Uttarakhand, Nepal and Uttar Pradesh signified by this sign. The chances of tremors will be around the new Moon of 18th of November.

Solar Ingress of Sagittarius

16 December 2017 at 03:01 hours at Delhi

Forecasting winter season trends for 2017-18

In the horoscope of the solar ingress of Sagittarius the conjunction of Sun and Saturn is a yoga for extreme weather conditions. As per late Shri B.V. Raman the Sun-Saturn conjunction gives excess heat waves during the summer in winters it gives extremely chilly winds. However, since Jupiter and Mars are also in conjunction so there will not be much rain in the plains of North States despite cloudy sky. The conjunction of Jupiter and Mars stops the rainfall as per the Bhavishya-Phala-Bhaskara. Although the Venus and Mercury, the two watery planets, are conjoined in watery Rashi Scorpio just behind the Sun promises some rain. So in the last fortnight of December here will be average rainfall in the Northern States and the snowfall in the hills will be higher than the normal. Thus the temperature is likely to remain lower than the normal for the season during the lunar month of ‘Pausha’. There will be chilling breeze across the North, North-West and Central parts of India during the period from 16th of December 2017  to 14th of January 2018. This winter is going to be colder than the normal for Indian sub-continent.

At the time of Sun’s entry into Makar (Capricorn) the conjunction of Sun and Venus will took place at close degrees. This combination will start giving rain once’ Mars moves into the watery Rashi Scorpio on the 17th of January 2018. During the one week from the 17th of January there will be good rainfall in the North and Central parts of the country which though would be bad for the crops of wheat. At many places like Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh this unseasonal winter rain and hailstorm  will destroy the crops. There will be more rain and hailstorm at these places after Mercury enters into the watery sign Capricorn on the 28th of January making a conjunction with Sun and Venus. This problem of untimely rain will continue until February 6th when Venus will move into the Aquarius sign leaving the Sun and Mercury in Capricorn.

Forecast for a chilling winter in Europe and North America

In the countries of Europe and America there will be record breaking cold waves and heavy snowfall during the above mention periods. The low Sun Spot activity in the current Sun spot cycle which begins in 2008 is promising to bring an extremely chilling winter season in the Northern hemisphere countries.
