Forecasting Trends for the Hindu New Year 2025-26 for India

In the classical text Bhavishya Phala Bhaskar bad results have been given for the transit of Saturn from the Sagittarius and the Pisces sign. The transit of Saturn from the sign ruled by Jupiter tend to give less than normal rainfall, famine (Durbhiksha) and loss of cattle’s. As per Varsha Prabodha (page number 148, stanza number 383) when the Saturn transit from Pisces sign it gives an earthquake in ‘Paatala Desha’ i.e. North America, some disastrous event in hilly areas and loss of trees. It also gives troubles to the kings and their subjects. Another classical text ‘Mayur Chitram’ (page number 28, Graha Yoga Phala Kathan Adhyay, chapter number 2) says that Saturn transit from Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces is bad for the kings and it gives lots of bloodshed.

As per Brihat Samhita of Acharya Varahamihira (chapter number 10, Shani Chaar Adhyay, Sloka number 17) Saturn in Uttarbhada Pada Nakshatra give troubles to the people living near water bodies and rivers, those engaged in vehicle productions, the price of gold fluctuates and there will be troubles for the females in the society. In year 2025 Saturn will be in Uttarabhadra Pada Nakshatra from 28^th of April onwards. Saturn will be retrograde in Uttara Bhadra Pada Nakshatra on the 13^th of July and in the months of August-September 2025 it will be in opposition with malefic Mars which will bring high inflation, political upheavals and troubles to the government. A total lunar eclipse will be visible in India on the night of 7^th of September 2025 which indicate fall of government and/or change in the top leadership of the central government. Chart 1. Horoscope of Hindu New Year 2025

The Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (Pisces New Moon) is on the 29^th of March evening (16:27 hours) as per the Indian Standard Time. The weekday is Saturday but since the Pratipada Tithi (first day of brighter half) at the time of Sun rise is coming only on the next day so the King of the Year will be the Sun only. In 2025 the Sun will enter into Aries sign on the Sunday (14^th of April, 03:21:56 a.m. at Delhi) so the minister of the year is also the Sun.

Fall of Central Government foreseen

In the Hindu New Year chart, the Sun and the Moon are along with Gulika in the 8^th house which is bad for the ruler of the country. The king and minister of the year is both are the Sun the placement of which is inauspicious in the 8^th house. Also, there is a bad exchange between the 10^th lord Venus and 8^th lord Jupiter in the Rashi chart. The lord of the 12^th house (loss of the ruler) is in the 8^th house along with the 10^th lord Venus. In Navamsha the 8^th lord is Mars which is in the 10^th house of government and the 10^th lord falls in the 12^th house.

In Dashamasha (D-10) of the Hindu New Year the rising sign is Capricorn and the 10^th lord (government) falls in the 12^th house and get the aspect of the 12^th lord Jupiter from the 8^th house. In Shashtiamsha (D-60) of the Hind New Year the rising sign is Gemini and the 10^th house get the aspect of 8^th lord Saturn. The 10^th lord is Jupiter which aspect the 12^th house. Thus, in all the four divisional charts the 10^th house (government) is getting connected with the 8^th house (sudden end) and the 12^th house (loss) which is an indication for the fall of the central government which will happen any time before February 2026.

Unseasonal rainfall and Tsunami foreseen

In the Hindu New Year chart two planets (Saturn and Rahu) are in Purva Bhadapada Nakshatra. Also, we have four planets (the Sun, the Moon, Mercury and Venus) in Uttara Bhadapada Nakshatra. Both Purva Bhadapada and Uttara Bhadara Pada Nakshatra’s fall in the North direction as per the Koorma Chakra. There will be unseasonal rainfall in the month of April due to this planetary configuration in North direction mainly. A danger for Tsunami can’t be ruled out in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha in the months of April and May this year.

Opposition Parties will become strong

In Mundane Astrology the lagna is the ruler of the country i.e. Prime Minister, the 7^th house is the opposition parties and the 10^th house is the government. In the Hindu New Year 2025 the lagna lord is the Sun which falls in the 8^th house and in Navamsha it is in the sign of natural malefic Mars. The 7^th house has Saturn in its own sign while we don’t have any planet in the lagna. Thus, opposition INDIA Block will be very aggressive towards the BJP led central government and may also expose some scandals of the government as the King of the New Year and also the Minister of the New Year both are in the 8^th house.

Economic Upheavals foreseen

The 2^nd house is the house of state government’s exchequer which get the aspect of as many as 5 planets (the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars). There will be some fall in the stock market during April to June due to the conjunction of Saturn-Rahu in the Pisces the sign ruled by Jupiter. But later the markets will recover and government will also get good revenue due to record breaking GST (goods and services tax) collection and also income tax.

Sex Scandal Foreseen

In the Hindu New Year horoscope (chart 1) the 8^th house of scandals has feminine planet Venus and the Moon along with the Rahu. The exchange between the 8^th lord (scandal) Jupiter and 10^th lord (government) Venus is a yoga for trouble to the central government due to a sex scandal and a major corruption case. The role of foreign espionage can’t be ruled out as the 12^th lord the Moon is in the 8^th house of scandals.

In the foundation horoscope of India (chart 2) the Maha Dasha of 7^th and 12^th lord Mars will start from 9^th of September 2025. The period of Mars Dasha and Mars Bhukti will be from 9^th of September 2025 to 5^th of February 2026. Mars as the 7^th lord is in the Nakshatra of Rahu which is Ardra. Mars aspect the 8^th house of scandals. In Navamsha Mars is in the 10^th house of government and aspect the lagna. This situation shows some difficulties to the government. Interestingly at around the time of the onset of the Mars Maha Dasha in the foundation chart of India a total lunar eclipse will also be visible in the country. There will also be some scandals related with unconventional relationships and marriage as Mars as the 7^th lord is in the Nakshatra of Rahu.

In the horoscope of Total Lunar Eclipse (chart 3) Taurus lagna is rising which is the same as the ascendant of the foundation chart of India (chart 2). This situation of repeating of the country’s ascendant sign in the lunar chart or solar ingress chart is consider very sensitive. Also, notice that Mars Maha Dasha will start in country’s chart (chart 2) when the transiting Mars will be in Virgo in mutual aspect with malefic Saturn which also shows some violence and terrorist activities. The stock markets will become volatile around this period and central government will start feeling shaky around then.

There will be controversies over the issues of a cast based national census, uniform civil code and proposed plan over delimitation of Lok Sabha seats in 2026. South Indian states will get agitated over the central government’s plan for the delimitations of the Lok Sabha seats as their declining population growth rate will not get them much rise in the share of increased seats in the Parliament. Nitish Kumar of JDU and Chandra Babu Naidu of TDP can left the BJP government over these issues any time after the total lunar eclipse of 2025.

In the Ashtakavarga the Gemini sign has only 19 points which is the lowest. The transit of Atichari Jupiter from Gemini sign will also give troubles to the central government which may fall any time before February 2026.

Chart 4. Horoscope of Narendra Modi

17 September 1950, 11:00 hours at Vadnagar, Gujarat

In the Scorpio lagna horoscope of Prime Minister Modi (chart 4) the Vimshottari Dasha of Mars and Anter Dasha of Mercury from 29^th of May 2025 to 26^th of May 2026 shows sudden retirement or downfall in career. The Mars is the lord of 6^th house and lagan both. Mercury as the 8^th and 11^th lord is in close conjunction with 10^th lord the Sun and also Ketu. Mercury is also 12^th lord in Navamsha. The transit of Saturn over his natal Rahu in the 5^th house, which is 8^th from the 10^th house of career, and the transit Jupiter in the 8^th house from lagna and the Moon will also not be favorable. A sudden fall of government and/or retirement of Mr. Modi can’t be ruled out from the analysis of above horoscopes any time during the operation of Hindu New Year 2025-26 i.e. before the March 2026 in any case.

Saturn transit from Pisces – What it foretells for India and the World ?

On 29 March, on the day of Amavasya, the transit Saturn left Aquarius sign and entered Pisces at about 08:29 pm as per the Indian standard time. Saturn stays in one zodiac sign for two and a half years, where it also becomes retrograde due to its distance from the Sun. Transit of Saturn in Jupiter’s signs Sagittarius and Pisces can bring big upheavals, especially in the stock market and gold as Jupiter is the natural karaka for the finance and gold. For India, Saturn’s transit in Pisces can prove to bring radical changes, especially in the government policies related to the economy. Transiting in the eleventh house of gains in the Taurus ascendant horoscope of the independent India (15 August 1947, midnight Delhi), Saturn will aspect the fifth house, due to which the government can announce a new economic policy this year. Leo ascendant is rising in India’s Hindu New Year horoscope this year, in which, due to the aspect of Mars, Jupiter, the Sun, Mercury and Venus on the 2nd house of wealth, the central government can take a big decision on disinvestment, privatization and freebies schemes.

According to the book of Mundane Astrology , Varsha Prabodh, in the chapter Shani-Chaar Adhyay, “If Saturn is in Pisces, then the earth keeps trembling, winds blow, earthquakes happen in Pataal Desha (America), etc., there is chaos in Sindhu and mountains, as big trees falls , kings get destroyed, humans get destroyed, clouds get scarce and the whole world gets revolved by the strong winds”. Now the erudite readers will have to keep it in mind that since the Hindu astrology texts are written in the poetic style of Sanskrit shlokas, therefore the good and bad results of the planets have been exaggerated. As per our humble understanding this transit of Saturn in Pisces, there may be a possibility of earthquakes in some places, especially in the California province of USA, Peru, Mexico, Caribbean etc. in the next two months. In the South East of India, there is a possibility of sea storm in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh in the next two months due to the conjunction of Saturn-Rahu in the watery sign Pisces. Since both these planets will afflict the Purva Bhadrapada constellation, therefore according to the Koorma Chakra, there will be a possibility of earthquakes in Kashmir, Pakistan and Afghanistan, etc. in the northern direction. Around the time of the lunar eclipse of the 7th of September 2025 there will be an earthquake in these areas.

In the months of April-May, there will be more incidents of strong dust storms and lightning in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar this year. The conjunction of Saturn and Rahu will be in Pisces and due to this, the transit of Mars in Gemini in the angle from it there is also a possibility of abnormal rainfall and some earthquakes in the northern Himalayan mountains.

Iran will be in great danger

In Pisces Saturn’s conjunction with Rahu will increase the inauspicious results in the Virgo Ascendant Israel’s foundation horoscope (14 May 1948, 4 pm Tel Aviv). Due to this, the whole of Europe is going through a political crisis and inflation has increased all over the world due to an energy crisis in this region. Total Lunar Eclipse of 14th of March 2025 – What it foretells for the USA and rest of the world ?

This year, the biggest lunar eclipse of the last three years will be seen in America at the midnight of 13/14 March, during which the color of the Moon will appear somewhat red. According to the astronomy experts , this lunar eclipse is the biggest total lunar eclipse after the lunar eclipse visible in the year 2022. The total duration of this full lunar eclipse will be 3 hours and 38 minutes. According to the classical text of mundane astrology in Hindi named ‘Adbhut Sagar’ , ” Should the Moon is seen in red color in the night sky , then it is bad for the king and disastrous for the country. The crown prince and the commander are killed. The people are unrighteous, that is, big scandals emerge in the society.” Since this total lunar eclipse is especially visible in the continent of America and Australia, then the security of big officials and ministers there can be a big threat in the next 3 months.

If seen from the point of view of transit principals , then at the time of this lunar eclipse, the royal sign Leo is afflicted which indicate a big leaders will suffer and heart disease and stomach diseases will increase among the common people. Oath Taking Horoscope of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta – What it foretells ?

After achieving a spectacular victory in the assembly elections of the country’s capital city Delhi, BJP has formed its government in the assembly here after almost 27 years. After Sushma Swaraj left the post of CM in Delhi after losing the elections of December 1998, BJP remained in the opposition for about 27 years. During this period, Sheila Dixit of Congress (15 years), Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party (11 years) and Atishi Marlena, who recently resigned from the post of Chief Minister after the election results, remained in power. BJP, which has came to power in the Delhi Assembly after a long gap of three decades, has very carefully taken the time of the Sthira Lagna Taurus for the oath taking muhurta for its new Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. In Hindu astrology, in the Muhurta texts, the Lagna of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) is considered good for coronation.

BJP, which came to power by winning 48 out of 70 seats in this year’s assembly elections, has chosen Taurus Lagna for the swearing-in ceremony of its woman Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, in which the auspicious planet Jupiter is present in the lagna. Jupiter being in Taurus and is making a Rashi Parivartana Yoga with the ascendant lord Venus will be good for the image of the Chief Minister. The feminine planet Moon is debilitated in the 7th house and is giving aspect to the ascendant.

The lord of the third house being debilitated and aspecting the ascendant is a good Rajyoga, due to which the Chief Minister will get good publicity in the media but since the Moon is afflicted by Saturn so some of her colleage will trouble her also. The Rajyoga of the 10th and 9th lord Saturn, the 4th lord the Sun and 5th lord Mercury in the tenth house of political power is a major combination of big government investments in infrastructure projects in Delhi like ring railway, roads, water treatment plants, government offices etc. which may also include a special package from the central government. A movable sign Cancer is rising in the Navamsha chart which indicate that government may change many of her important decisions in the course of time. In the Navamsha of the oath taking chart Mars and Saturn both aspect the lagna indicate some aggressive and quick decitions of the chief minister which will ignite the opposition party AAP.

There will be big changes in the government schemes of Delhi

The horoscope of Delhi state (1 February 1992, midnight) is of Libra ascendant. In this horoscope of Libra ascendant, Venus’s Antardasha in the Mahadasha of the Moon is running from September 2023 to May 2025. The Moon and Venus both are female planets, so after Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi Marlena became the Chief Minister last year, now Delhi state has got another woman Chief Minister in the form of Rekha Gupta.

In Delhi’s Libra ascendant horoscope, the lagna and the 8th lord (change) Venus are in close degrees conjunction forming a Samagam Yoga which will bring big changes in the welfare schemes of the state government like 300 units of free electricity, free bus travel for women, budget allocation for education and health etc. BJP government can reduce the budget on education and health services due to investment on infrastructure projects in Delhi. In November this year, the 7-year long Mahadasha of the 7th and 2nd lord Mars will start in the horoscope of Delhi state, due to which more attention will be given to new excise policy, women safety etc. Big decisions will be taken by the Delhi government in the year 2026 to give the benefit of public welfare schemes only to economically weaker people after making some amendments in existing schemes.

Two and a half years will be difficult for opposition leaders

In the oath taking horoscope of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the aspect of Jupiter and Saturn on the debilitated Moon in the seventh house of the opposition is an astrological yoga for the ruling BJP putting great pressure on the opposition Aam Aadmi Party. Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal (born on 16 August 1968 at 7:30 am, Bhiwani, Haryana) is going through the sub-period of Saturn in the Maha Dasha of debilitated Saturn in his Leo ascendant horoscope.

Saturn’s transit from 29th of March in Pisces being in the eighth house from the ascendant and the twelfth (loss) house from the Moon in Arvind Kejriwal’s horoscope will give him trouble due to court cases. In the Bhava Chalit chart the Saturn is in Pisces in the 8th house with Rahu. In Navamsha the Maha Dasha lord Saturn is in the 8th house in mutual aspect with the 8th lord Mars showing troubles in health and matters of court cases. In the coming time, Arvind Kejriwal can shift his focus from Delhi state politics and work on strengthening the party in Punjab and Gujarat. But, due to Arvind Kejriwal (Aries) and Manish Sisodia (Leo) being under the influence of Sade-Sati and Dhaiya of Saturn respectively, the next two and a half years will be full of troubles, court cases and challenges.

Manish Sisodia (born on 5 January 1972) is the former deputy chief minister of Delhi who lost election this time. In the Pisces lagna chart of Manish Sisodia he has a major Bhandhan Yoga as equal number of planets are placed in the 3rd and 11th house. He was in jail for 17 months and had come out in in August 2024 only last year. He lost election in February during his Rahu Maha Dasha and Ketu Anter Dasha from 28th of November 2024 to 16 December 2025. The period till December 2025 is tough for him as the transiting Saturn will be in the 8th house from his natal Moon. Also, the Anter Dasha lord Ketu is in the 5th house but its depositor the Moon falls in the 6th house over which the transiting Ketu will come after May this year. So, the second half of 2025 will be bad for Manish Sisodia’s health and also career. Troubles from court cases are also foreseen for Manish Sisodia during the second half of 2025.
