Omar Abdulla was born in Rochford, Essex, United Kingdom to father Dr. Farooq Abdulla and mother Mollie who was a nurse by profession. The Leo lagna horoscope of Omar Abdullah has a great Raja yoga of 4^th and 9^th lord  Mars in mutual aspect with 5^th lord  Jupiter at 3/9 axis showing his family legacy. Yogakaraka Mars with debilitated Saturn is producing a good ‘Neecha Bhanga’ Raja Yoga. The 2^nd house  ( family) and 11^th (gains) house lord Mercury is conjoined with lagna lord Sun in the 7^th house of public life. Omar’s father ( Farooq Abdullah) and his grandfather (Sheikh Abdullah) were the chief ministers of Jammu & Kashmir state. Omar himself was the chief minister of this state from January 2009 to January  2015 in a coalition government with Congress party. Omar Abdullah’s married life was never stable which is evident from the Sun placed in the 7^th house of Rashi and Navamsha in enemy signs. The 7^th lord of Rashi chart is Saturn which is debilitated and the 7^th lord of Navamasha is Venus which is also in the same condition. Then notice a retrograde 5th lord Jupiter in both Rashi and Navamsha which is a dangerous combination giving psychological disorder and depressive tendencies to the native. Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari : Ketu 3 Years 5 Months and 22 Days

Omar got married on 1 September 1994 with Payal Nath who is the daughter of retired Major General Ram Nath. It was the Vimshottari Dasha of Sun-Mars in the horoscope of Omar then. Sun is in the 7^th house of both Rashi  chart. Mars is with 7^th lord Saturn in the Rashi chart and in Navamsha Mars is in the 7th house. Omar’s Darakaraka is Moon which is afflicted with Saturn and Mars. The Moon is getting the Jaimini aspect from Rahu which placed in the 7^th house of Rashi chart amply explaining his unconventional marriage. Interestingly Omar’s youngest sister Sarah has married Congress leader Sachin Pilot, who is now Rajasthan’s deputy CM, which is also an inter-religion marriage.

Omar Abdullah has two son’s Zamir (1997) and Zahir ( 1999) from his wife Payal Nath, both now lives separately from him since a divorce in 2011. Also notice the condition of 5^th lord Jupiter in Omar’s chart which is retrograde and in mutual aspect with two hard malefics. Jupiter is debilitated in the Navamsha chart. It is no surprise that Omar’s children lives with their mother only. His Saptamasha chart also explain it amply where the ^7th house of Rashi Aquarius is rising in the ascendant. The ascendant lord of Saptamasha is Saturn which is in the 5th  house with Mars and Rahu. These malefic planets are in the  mutual aspect with  Jupiter , the karaka for child, astrologically explaining his separation from children.

Political Future of Omar Abdullah

At present Omar Abdullah is facing the most difficult time of his political life. He has been put under house arrest since 5th of August this year when BJP government diluted article 370 and scraped article 35A completely. Along with this  the Ranbir Penal Code 1932 ,which had given Jammu & Kashmir and its citizens special laws, has now been scraped. Now the IPC (Indian Penal Code) and other laws of constitution will be applicable in Jammu & Kashmir. Omar Abdullah and his party National Conference  were principally against the scraping of article 370 and 35A which were giving the state autonomy in many matters and special status. Interestingly both the mainstream Jammu & Kashmir’s parties National Conference of Abdullah’s and Mehabooba Mufti’s PDP were been partners with BJP in past. Omar Abdullah had been a cabinet minister in Vajpayee government of BJP at the center and PDP had a coalition government with BJP at the state just one and half year ago. Both the mainstream Kashmiri leaders are now felling betrayed and back-stab  by the BJP.

 

 

Now have a look at Omar’s Dwadamasha chart where the Taurus sign is rising which is the 10^th house (political power) of his Rashi chart. Venus is in the ascendant of Dwadamasha chart. The 11^th lord Jupiter is in  the 10^th house getting the aspect of 10^th lord Saturn and 7^th lord Mars showing strong political legacy of his family. The Vimshottari Dasha of Rahu-Jupiter from May 2019 to October 2021 indicate a fatal period for his father now. Jupiter, the Bhukti lord, is in the 3^rd house of Rashi chart which is the 7^th from the 9^th house of father. In Dwadamasha Jupiter is the lord of 8^th house getting the aspect of 7^th lord Mars. Thus Jupiter Bhukti is a Maraka Dasha for his father. So Omar will have to face difficulties due to bad health of his father  during May 2019 to October 2021 when Jupiter Bhukti in the major period of Rahu will be running in his horoscope.

But the Rahu-Jupiter period will give Omar a comeback as a chief minister or may be as a deputy chief minister in Jammu & Kashmir state in the event of assembly elections taking place during this dasha. The Rahu is in the 7^th house of ‘Pada-Prapati’ and Jupiter as the 5^th lord is giving aspect to it. The depositor of Rahu is Saturn who’s debilitation is getting cancel (Neecha Bhanga) due to the presence of sign lord Mars with him. The Dasha lord Rahu is strongly placed in the 5^th house of Navamsha and 4th house of the Dashamasha charts of Omar. The Bhukti lord Jupiter is in great Raja Yoga in Dasmasha chart where it as the 9^th lord  is placed in the 10^th house of power with 7^th lord Venus in mutual aspect with the lagna lord Mars.

When the first time Omar had become the chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir he was under the Vimshottari Dasha of Mars ( September 2009 to September 2016) which is a Yogakaraka in his Rashi chart and in  Dasmasha it is strongly placed in the 3rd house. But now since the Rahu period,  which is in the  the 7^th house of war in Rashi chart, is running so things are going to be very difficult for Omar Abdullah. Rahu is in the 7^th house of Rashi chart and the Bhukti lord Jupiter is in mutual aspect with Saturn the 7^th lord. The dasha and anterdasha related with the 7th house does indicate a difficult war in Jammu & Kashmir State in next year during which Omar Abdullah have to face some very troublesome moments of his life. Moreover, Jupiter the anterdasha lord is in bad exchange with Venus. Jupiter as the 8th lord is in exchange with 3rd lord Venus which make him struggle and it is also a threat for his personal security.

Chara Dasha and Dwisaptati Sama Dasha on Omar Abdullah’s horoscope

In Chara dasha Omar Abdullah is running with Aquarius period which will be till March 2022. Aquarius has his Atamakaraka Sun with Rahu and Amatayakaraka Mercury. In Navamsha Aquarius has his Amatayakaraka which is good. The Aquarius being a Rashi from the 10th house of Karakamsha lagna, which is Taurus, is good for giving political power but at the same time Atamakaraka Sun placed in Aquarius along with Rahu make it very dangerous for his security.

In the horoscope of Omar Abdullah the lagna lord Sun is in the 7th house which make it a case for the application of Dwisaptati Sama Dasha a conditional dasha of Sage Parashra. Here the period of Saturn-Venus is running from July 2018 to September 2019. Now Rahu maha dasha will come from 1st of September 2019. Rahu is in the 7th house of war in Rashi chart though its depositor Saturn is involve in a ‘Neecha-Bhanga’ Raja Yoga.

Now a detail analysis of the horoscope of Omar Abdullah also indicate a scenario of war which could create big damage in Jammu & Kashmir in coming year in 2020.
