“ Either free the country from reservation or make everybody the slave of reservation”

“ Reservation has set India 35 years behind. Either there should be reservation for all, or no reservation. Then there will be equality”

These are the quotes of Hardik Patel from his interview published  in ‘the Hindu’ and ‘Economics Times’ respectively  after the  massive rally in Ahmadabad on August 25 2015 last year. This quota stir  is  said to be attended by around 5 lakh peoples, demanding backward class reservation for  Patidar (Patel) community in Gujarat. This newest sensation from Gujarat gives the impression of an accidental hero as he looks cocky and confused at the same time. However, some people think that he could be a ‘next big thing’ in Indian politics. This 22 years old young lad is now trying to scale up his agitation at the national level by demanding reservation for an umbrella of communities , the likes of Gujjars , Jats, Kurmi’s ,  etc.

Hardik Patel has just recently released from the central jail of Surat on the 15th of July 2016. He was detained 9 months before under the charges of sedition and invoking violence during the Patidar Anamad Andolan in Gujarat.

Invoking Sardar Patel as his icon he says “  Just as Sardar Patel united scores of small principalities and Kingdoms in British India to become one country, I will make sure that we, the vanshaj (descendents) of Sardar Patel unite all communities agitating for OBC status and present a national front “. He also urged his supports to “speaks with swords instead of garlands”, saying this was the only way to ‘conquer India’. {Reference: http://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-others/hardik-patel-in-delhi-to-hold-talks-with-leaders-of-communities-demanding-reservation/}.  This is where he looks to be a confused personality as at one place he makes comments against the present reservation policy and at the other he frantically put forward his demand for OBC quota without having an understanding of cast complexities of the country, constitutional provisions and the judgments of Supreme Court in this matter. In 1963 the apex court had put 50% cap on reservations in the M R Balaji And Others Vs State of Mysore case. Almost all the states except Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra have not exceeded the 50% limit. Now Hardik Patel wants his state government to grant Patel’s, which are socially and politically  very influential, the status of  OBC  even at the cost of increasing the limit of 50% reservation bracket  which will surely going to get challenged in the apex court in future just like it had been in the case of Tamil Nadu and other states.

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari : Saturn 4 years 9 months 23 days.

The Hardik Patel was born in the Vimshottari dasha of Saturn in a lower middle class family. The Saturn as the 6^th and 7^th lord is influencing the 9^th house and its lord Mars is confirming his humble background. Hardik’s father was a farmer who later took to the occupation of submersible- pumps manufacturing. A younger sister was born in the dasha of Saturn which is in mutual aspect with Mars the karaka of co-borns. In Dreshkana the Aries sign is rising in the ascendant and Saturn is place in the 11^th house with 3^rd lord Mercury there confirming the birth of younger sibling during its dasha.

Hardik Patek is a commerce graduate, with less than 50% marks, from Sahajanand Collage of Ahmadabad. For studying in commerce stream the position-aspect-conjunction of 2^nd (finance), 5^th (education) and 7^th (business) houses/lords requires together will the influence of Jupiter and Mercury. In Rashi chart the 5^th lord Jupiter is place in the 2^nd house and the 2^nd lord Mercury is giving aspect to the 5^th house from the 11^th house. The mutual aspect between the 7^th lord Saturn and 9^th lord Mars is another Parashari Raj Yoga. In Jaimini the Atamakaraka Mercury is well place in the 11^th house and Amatayakaraka Mars is strongly place in the lagan makes one very successful even though he is born in a mediocre family. The Atamakaraka (Mercury) is also in mutual Jaimini aspect with 5^th lord Jupiter which is another Raj Yoga here.

However, there are some major “Arishta Yoga’s” in his horoscope which makes him a man living dangerously all the time. The hard malefic Mars and Saturn are covering 1/7 axis of the ascendant. They are also across the 2/8 axis from the Moon making him prone to injuries, suffering from enemies and accidents. From Chandra lagna there is no benefic in Kendra which is not a good situation. In Navamsha the malefic Saturn is place in the lagna which is sandwiched between two other malefic planets. These malefic influences will make him a selfish and arrogant leader who will not hesitate to provoke his supports for instigating violence.

In Vimshottari he is running with Ketu-Ketu period from 13 May 2015 to 10 October 2015. The Ketu, the planet of secrecy, is in the 10^th house of fame. It is in ‘Mrityu-Bhagh’ though but it have him sudden limelight as it is conjoined with 10^th lord Venus and the benefic aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter  here gives the result of Raj Yoga. However, Jupiter being the 8^th lord also shows a hidden agenda which will get exposed very soon. Now the Venus sub period coming in Ketu maha dasha from 10^th of October will give him great exposure  and he will successfully take this movement of Patel reservation at the national level.

In year 2016 he will become a big headache for the BJP governments in the center and states. The more this young lad opens his mouth the more damage will get inflicted to Modi’s ‘Gujarat Model’ which helped him win Loksabha election earlier. Young Hardik Patel is exposing flaws in the economic and social model  of Gujarat ,the state which was ruled by Modi for 13 years before he become the Prime Minister. This sword-wielding crusader challenges Modi’s development model by saying that it failed to stop the suicides of 8900 farmers in Gujarat in the last one decade. He called the ‘Gujarat Model’ a hype created by Modi who ‘tried to sell platinum when all he had was steel’. If we see from the Jaimini angle the Hardik Patel is under the Chara dasha of Sagittarius (Dhanu) , which is the rashi of rise and fall, from 20 July 2010 to 20 July 2019. The Sagittarius is the rashi of 5^th house from the lagna here with two benefic Mercury and Jupiter giving their aspects to it. The Amatayakaraka Mars is in the 9^th house (luck) from Sagittarius and is giving its aspect to the 11^th house of this rashi gave Hardik an overnight success. Now the sub period of Aries in the major period of Sagittarius will be running from 20 October 2015 to 19 July 2016. The Aries is the 9^th house from lagan which is under the Jaimini aspects of Amatayakaraka Mars and Ganatikaraka Saturn. This again confirms the possibility that his agitation for quota will take aggressive turn in the coming days.

The state of Gujarat has the foundation chart of Sagittarius rashi. Gujarat was founded on 1^st May 1960 at 00:00 hours mid night at Ahmadabad. In the Sagittarius lagna chart the dasha of Mercury-Mars will run from September 2015 to September 2016. Mercury is the lord of 7^th house (war like situation) and Mars the 5^th lord shows a student movement. In transit the long stay of Mars in Scorpio along with Saturn, in the twelfth house of losses in the chart of Gujarat, will make the situation worst from March 2016 to August 2016. This will result in the decline of popularity of Modi (Scorpio rashi ) and Anandi Ben Patel (Sagittarius rashi ) in coming months. The state assembly elections in Gujarat are to be held in year 2017. At that time the transiting Saturn will reach into Sagittarius affecting the 10^th house of the horoscope of Gujarat state. The dasha at that time would be of Mercury-Rahu. The current chief minister of Gujarat Anandi Ben Patel (born on 21 November 1941), having Dhanu rashi and Moola Nakshatra, will be ousted from power in 2017 when the transiting Saturn from Dhanu will afflict her Janma Nakshatra.

But before these events will unfold this young lad Hardik Patel, who idolizes late Balasaheb Thackeray, will form a party or political front in 2016 which will get indulge in fierce activities in the name of social justice. With age he will grew mature and will play a long inning in the Indian politics. He is under the Vimshottari dasha of Ketu at present, which will run for 7 years, and then the 20 years period of Venus will come which will be even better for his political career.
