Pret Badha Yoga or Pishacha Yoga in Astrology- Trouble through evil spirits

Pret Badha Yoga or Pishacha Yoga are the astrological combinations for trouble from evil spirits or ghosts. These yogas are lesser known as the major astrological text such as Bhriat Parashra Hora Shastra and Bhriat Jataka etc. has not discuss them. The Sage Parashara in his Bhriat Parashara Hora Shastra has elaborately explained though the astrological yogas for past life curses in the ‘Poorva-Janam-Sharap-Addhayaa’. The chapter number 84 of Bhriat Parashara Hora Shastra has discuss the 70 yogas which occurs due to curses from past life which gives childlessness to the native in present birth. Nowadays astrologers have started using the term ‘Pitra-Dosha’ for it and have over simplified these yogas without understanding their essence. There are 11 yogas for curse by father from previous birth, 13 yogas for curse coming from mother, 13 yogas for curse from brother, 4 yogas for curse by maternal uncle (Mama), 7 yogas for curse from Brahmin (priest) , 11 yogas describing curse from wife (spouse) and 9 yogas which explain curse by the Pret or Evil Spirit in the previous life. These yogas are mainly for childlessness.

The Sage Parashara in his ‘Hora Shastra’ has also given astrological remedies to remove the effect of these past life curses. These astrological remedies include donations, Mantra Japa, Puja, Yantra, Planting trees, going for pilgrimages, serving cow and Brahmin etc. The Sage Parashara has specifically indicated that native having these yogas in his chart should himself do these remedies. Parashra has nowhere mention that one can hire a priest for doing Puja or Mantra Japam. These curses of past life birth are due to our own bad Karmas which we can get-rid of by either patiently enduring them or by doing Praschit Karma (penance) with pure heart. Sage Parashra has not recommended wearing a gem stone or giving a contract to someone for doing Puja on our . The modern age astrologers has oversimplified these ‘Poorva Janma Sharapa’ Yogas given by Sage Parashara and started addressing them as ‘Pitra Dosha’ in a horoscope indicating the placement of Rahu in certain houses. In reality the Sage Parashra has mention 70 yogas for giving curses due to past life bad Karmas which can deny progeny for the native in present birth. Astrologers in modern days are using ‘Pitra-Dosha’ which is neither mention by Parashara nor by any other ancient authority in Hindu astrology classics. The same applied with ‘Kaal-Sarpa-Dosha’ which is nowhere found in any major classical text of Hindu Jyotish.

Now I will come to the Pret Badha Yoga which is discuss in Jataka Tattwam very briefly in ‘Shashta Viveka Adhayaa’ Sloka number 14 and 15. The Pandit Mahadev Pathak had written Jataka Tattwam in the last decades of 19^th Century which was later translated into English by legendry Subramanian Shastry. In this book the Pret Badha yoga has briefly explained in two Slokas in ‘Shashta Viveka Adhayaa’

A weak Moon in the 8^th house with Saturn 2. Rahu and Saturn in the ascendant are the two yogas that can give trouble from evil spirits to the native.

Apart from this the “Pratham Vivik Adhayaa” Sloka number 112 of Jataka Tattwam gives a Pischacha Yoga which is as given here “ Moon afflicted with Rahu in the lagna and malefic planets in trine houses gives Pischacha Yoga to native”. This yoga is also mention in the classical text Shambhu Hora Prakash where apart from Moon the Sun with Rahu in the lagna with malefic planets placed in trine houses produce this dreaded yoga.

After studying the horoscopes of people suffering from evil spirits I have found two more astrological combinations which are given below. These yogas should be checked in Rashi, Navamsha and Trimshamsha charts.

Lagna, 2^nd , 4^th and 9^th houses afflicted by malefic planets Rahu, Mars and Saturn can give trouble from evil spirits.
Atamakaraka badly placed and afflicted by Rahu or hard malefic planets. Gulika in the lagna getting Jaimini aspect by malefic planets ( Rahu, Mars and/or Saturn) can also give trouble from evil spirits.

Now I will discuss some example horoscopes of persons suffering from evil spirits which are known to me to explain the validity of the above mention 5 yogas for Pret Badha.

Case 1. Male ( Young Businessman)

29 June 1991, 20:15 hours

Longitude 94E 54’ and Latitude 27N 28’

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Moon 9 Years 5 months 23 days

Gulika – Pisces , Karakamsha lagna- Pisces

This young businessman is suffering from an evil spirit since last 3-4 years and having strange dreams continuously. His career, family life and health has suffered due to it. Gulika is in Pisces in the Karakamsha lagna. His Atamakaraka Venus is in Pisces in the Navamsha. The Rahu and Sun are giving Jaimini aspect to the Gulika.

Notice the afflicted Moon with Saturn in the lagna. Mars aspect them and also the 2^nd house. The 9^th lord Mercury is with Ketu and the 8^th lord Sun. The 2^nd, 4^th and 9^th houses/lords are all afflicted by malefic planets. Atamakaraka Venus is with Mars which is debliteated.

Now see this yoga in Navamsha and Trimshamsha. In Navamsha the 2^nd lord is Moon which is with 8^th lord Saturn. The 4^th lord is Mercury which is under the aspect of Saturn. Mars is afflicting the 9^th house with Sun. In the Trimshamsha the sign Pisces is rising with malefic Saturn in the 7th house along with Moon giving aspect to it. The 4th house get the bad aspects of Sun and Saturn both in Trimshamsha. The 2nd lord Mars is in the 9th house getting the malefic aspect of Saturn complete the hypothesis. The problems started in Rahu-Saturn dasha in 2014. He suffered lots of losses in business and his father was also cheated with someone later in Rahu-Mercury period. Their family has not recovered from these setbacks and the boy is still unmarried due to career struggle.

Case 2. Female ( Troubled by a Muslim evil spirit )

3 September 1960, 11:28 hours

Longitude 79E 40’ and Latitude 29N 37’

Balance of Dasha Moon 4 Years 6 months 7 days

Gulika- Virgo, Karakamsha lagna- Virgo

An evil soul of a Muslim ‘Pathan’ enter his body many a times since 1994. She then use to shot like a man and beat her husband. Her family consulted with many psychologist and even ‘Tantrik’s’ but no one able to assess what is the real issue. Gulika here is in Virgo which is the Karakamsha of this lady. Gulika is getting the Jaimini aspect of malefic Saturn.

Notice the afflicted 2^nd , 4^th and 9^th houses lords in all the Vargas. In Tula lagna Rashi chart the 2^nd lord Mars is in the 8^th house. The 4^th lord Saturn is under the aspect of this Mars. Saturn is retrograde and is with 6^th lord Jupiter which due to becoming functional malefic is not helpful. The 9^th lord Mercury is with Sun and Rahu and it is getting the aspect of Mars. When you will check her Navamsha and Trimshamsha then you will find that the 2^nd , 4^th and 9^th houses/lords are all afflicted by malefic planets.

As per Jaimini system the Atakamaraka is Mars which is in the 8^th house getting the Jaimini aspect of Ganatikaraka Moon. The problem started in 1994 when she was passing under Jupiter-Saturn in Vimshottari. An evil soul enter her body while she was at roof of her home. She suddenly got excited and jumped from the roof and injured her body. Since then she is been troubled by that evil soul of Muslim Pathan many a times.

Noticeable point here is the lordship of Jupiter in all the Varga charts discuss above. In the Rashi chart Jupiter is the lord of 3^rd and 6^th house. In Navamsha it is 7^th lord a Maraka. In Trimshamsha, where Libra sign is rising, it is again a functional malefic.

Case 3. Male ( Businessman trouble by Tantra)

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Jupiter 3 years 5 months 11 days

Gulika- Pisces , Karakamsha- Sagittarius

This Makar lagna horoscope is of a businessman who had to suffer due to some ‘Tantra’ done over his family by his own brother and his wife. They are living in a big family house and have lots of commercial properties. He earned money in millions in the business of trading in fruits and vegetables at large scale. But he lost almost all the share in parental property and wealth due to his younger brother doing some evil Tantra over him. Gulika in his case is in Pisces which gives the Jaimini aspect to his Karakamsha which is in Sagittarius. Rahu is conjoined with Gulika in his horoscope.

The chart has a classical combination of losing parental property. The 4^th lord Mars and 8^th lord Sun are in a bad exchange. Now notice the affliction on the 2^nd , 4^th and 9^th houses lords in the Rashi chart. Saturn as the lord of 2^nd house is retrograde and is falling in the 8^th house. Saturn is with 4^th lord Mars and is giving aspect to the 9^th lord Mercury.

The affliction to the 2^nd, 4^th and 9^th houses lords repeats in Navamsha and Trimshamsha charts. In Trimshamsha the Saturn is again in the 8th house as the lord of 4^th house. Saturn give aspect to the 2^nd house and its lord Jupiter. Mars aspect the 9^th lord Moon completing the condition which I had mention.

His sufferings came in the maha dasha of Venus ( from October 1996 to October 2016). Many a times he saw the drop of blood over his bedroom wall appearing mysteriously. Strange objects were found in the home from nowhere. Notice the close conjunction of Venus with Rahu. They are under the 8^th aspect from Mars in Rashi chart. Venus is though the Yogakaraka for Makar lagan but it is conjoined with 7^th lord (Maraka) Moon and also with malefic Rahu. From the Moon Venus becomes the lord of 8^th house. In Navamsha and Trimshamsha the Venus is with Rahu and get the aspect of Saturn. In both Navamsha and Trimshamsha Venus becomes the functional malefic so its whole dasha has to be bad for him. In the maha dasha of Sun later in 2017-2018 he got some share in his parental property. The exalted Sun as the 8^th lord finally gave him some respite in form of parental wealth. Throughout the Venus dasha earlier he was suffering from evil Tantra done over him by his younger brother.

Case 4. Male (Evil Tantra done by business competitor)

27 January 1981, 04:24 hours

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Mars 3 years 5 months 28 days

Gulika- Leo , Karakamsha- Virgo

Many a times we come across such cases where people tell us that they are being trouble by some ‘Tantra’ done by their business rivals to inflict damage upon them. This is such case of a young businessman who comes from an influential family in Nagpur. He has Gulika in Leo which is getting the Jaimini aspect from malefic Mars and Sun. His business was flourishing until 2010 when a new competitor arrived and started doing some evil practices openly against him. It was Jupiter-Rahu in Vimshottari in his horoscope then.

Now check the parameter of affliction to the 2^nd , 4^th and 9^th houses/lords in the above given Varga charts. In Rashi chart malefic Sun, Mars and Ketu are in the 2^nd house. Mars aspect the 9^th house. The 4^th house and its lord Jupiter is with retrograde Saturn in a planetary war. In Navamsha the 2^nd house has Saturn and 9^th house has Rahu. In Trimshamsha Saturn from the 12^th house aspect the 2^nd and 9^th house both. Mars gives its bad aspect to the 2^nd house from the 8^th house. The 4^th house here is free from affliction.

His competitor inflicted strange Tantra over him as he told me that they use to find quite mysterious things at his showroom ever morning when staff use to do the cleaning. His problem were increased during Jupiter-Rahu dasha ( from February 2016 to July 2018) when he suffered from piles and stomach ailments despite having a health dietary habits. He is suffering from these disease, court cases, and business losses and have not been able to get marry despite best of the efforts by his family. Saturn afflicting the 7^th house from lagan and Venus has to give troubles in getting married. He is now under the maha dasha of Saturn since July 2018 and have lost hopes of getting married. Some relief is expected in Saturn-Mercury dasha after July 2021. Both Saturn and Mercury are in good exchange of 2^nd and 10^th houses which will give him success in career and happiness in family.

I have in my collection many such cases of person suffering from evil spirits but the classical combinations mention by Jataka Tattwam are not applicable fully. Although the affliction to the lagna (self) , 2^nd house (family), 4^th house (home) and 9^th house (grace of god and luck) was found in Rashi , Navamsha and Trimshamsha charts. Gulika was found to be getting the Jaimini aspect of malefic planets in all cases.

Remedies: As per Prashna Marg the ‘Maha Mrityunjaya Japam’ for 8000 times and its Homa is a good remedy to get relief from any ‘Abhichaar Karma’. It has also been observed Gayatri Homa or Gayatri Sadhana a very good remedy in such cases. You can conduct 5 Gayatari Homa’s in a period of 90 days at your home to get rid of the bad effects of evil spirits. Also doing Puja of Hanuman, Narsimha, Kali or Kaal Bharava as per the local custom is very helpful to get relief from the bad effects of evil spirits or any kind of negative energy. During the period of ‘Sadhana’ a person affected with evil spirit should avoid Tamsik food like non-veg, garlic, onion, wine etc. to get best results.

The Amavasya (no Moon) of Chaitra lunar month is called ‘Bhootani Amavasya’ which is most suitable to perform a remedy or Anushthana to get rid of evil spirit of any kind. The Amavasya of Chaitra Krishna Paksha is also preferred for performing ‘Pitru Dosha Puja’ at pilgrimages. Other good option is to perform major remedies on Amavasya occurring on Tuesday or Saturday. Amavasya, Dwadasha and Chathurdashi Tithi is consider best for Pitru Dosha Puja.

Oath Taking Horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal and Muhurata Matters

On the 16th of February 2020 Arvind Kejriwal took oath for the chief minister post of Delhi for the third time. I have been writing on Arvind Kejriwal’s and his party AAP’s fortune since year 2012. I am using Leo lagna chart for Arvind Kejriwal on which i have made correct forecast’s of his becoming chief minister in February 2015 and then again this time also when he got reelected for another term with a great victory . I had discuss the horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal in detail in my article ‘Arvind Kejriwal Guru-Chandra Dasha and Delhi Assembly Elections 2020′ posted on the 28th of December 2019. The Leo lagna horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal i am using since 2012 was given to me by my teacher Shri K.N. Rao who got it from his family many years back. Some astrologer are using a Taurus lagna chart for Arvind Kejriwal which do not appeal for the reason a weak 10th lord in the 12th house and the dasha of 8th lord Jupiter would not have given him a government service forget about a top post like chief minister thrice. It is only the Leo lagna chart with strong dasha of 5th lord Jupiter that shows his continuous success despite a very hostile BJP with all its political and monetary resources trying to destroy his political career.

Now before i discuss the current swearing-in-horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal let me show you his previous two oath taking horoscopes to make you understand a simple concept of ‘Muhurata’.

Chart 1. Oath Taking Horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal 2013

Tithi: Krishna Ekadasha, Vaar- Saturday, Nakshtra: Swati , Karan: Bava, Yoga- Sukarana

In the month of December 2013 Arvind Kejriwal created a sensation by defeating three time Delhi chief minister of Congress Smt. Sheila Dikshit. His party AAP had won 28 seats, BJP 34 and Congress was decimated to only 8 seats in Delhi assembly elections of 2013. In a dramatic manner Congress offer outside support to AAP for forming the government as BJP was unable to get majority in the 70 member legislative assembly. Arvind Kejriwal become the chief minister of Delhi for the first time but choose a very bad Muhurata from astrologer perspective. But i would say that it is the Muhurata chart that reflect the position of native taking the responsibility. See the Muhurata chart of Arvind Kejriwal’s oath taking in 2013 given above.

Moon falls in the 8th house with Rahu and Saturn shows the confusion and compulsion he has to face. He was taking the support to form a government from Congress Party against whom he had carried an aggressive anti-corruption movement during 2011-12. In the Navamsha also Moon is badly placed in the 6th house and is getting the aspect of Saturn. A weak Moon in the oath taking chart of leader shows his fear and tensions in running the affairs of the government. In the oath taking chart given above the lagna and 10th lord Jupiter in Rashi chart is in exchange of houses with 4th lord Mercury which is a Raja Yoga that gave him fame during his first tenure. In Navamsha the lagna and 10th lord Mercury is badly afflicted. His government fall after 49 days in the month of February 2014 when he himself resigned to fight Lok Sabha elections which proved to be a disaster for his political career. But since Jupiter was giving aspect to the 10th house of his oath taking chart and the 9th lord Mars was also influencing the same so he had got the image of a honest and benevolent leader during his brief tenure as chief minister for just 49 days. Also notice a bad exchange of 8th lord Venus and 11th lord Saturn which gave a surprise gain but also a sensational fall from power.

Chart 2. Oath Taking Horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal 2015

Tithi: Krishna Dashami , Vaar: Saturday, Nakshtra: Jyeshtha, Karana: Vishti, Yoga: Harshana

In the Delhi assembly elections of February 2015 Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party got 67 seats out of 70 which gave them a great fame in Indian political scene. But within few days there was rift in the party senior leadership. Arvind Kejriwal ousted senior founder members like Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadava. You can see this in the oath taking chart of Arvind Kejriwal’s swearing-in in February 2015. Although this oath taking chart is comparatively much better than his first tenure but her the Moon is in Kroor Nakshatra Jyeshtha. Moon is with a natural malefic planets Saturn. But the aspect of Jupiter on the Moon is a big saving grace. Moon falls in the 12th house of Navamsha chart which is a weakness.

In year 2013 Arvind Kejriwal took oath when Pisces lagna was rising. Pisces is the 8th house from his Janma lagna Leo and it is the 12th house from his natal Moon which is in Aries. So that Muhurata chart was extremely bad as we have discuss in the beginning. In year 2015 he got little better Muhurata as the rising sign Taurus is the 10th house from his Janma lagna. In the second oath taking chart you can also notice the lagna lord Venus is in the 10th house with 4th lord Sun in a good Raja Yoga. The 10th lord from the lagna is Saturn which is getting the aspect of benefic Jupiter. He did lot of good work in the field of primary health care and education which made him more popular.

Chart 3. Oath Taking Horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal 2020

16 February 2020, 12:20 hours at Delhi

Tithi: Krishna Ashtami, Vaar: Sunday, Nakshatra: Anuradha, Yoga: Vyagatha , Karana: Kaulava

The swearing-in horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal’s 3rd term is little better as compare to chart 2 which is the oath taking for his second term as Delhi chief minister. This time the day of his swearing-in is Sunday which is good. The Nakshtra is Anuradha much better than the previous time when he took oath in Jyeshtha Nakshtra. But the Tithi is Krishna Ashtami not suited for auspicious works.

There are good Raja Yoga’s in the oath taking chart of Kejriwal. A debliteated planet giving aspect to the lagna and strong exalted lagna lord is a classical Parasharai Raja Yoga. See the debliteated Moon giving aspect to the lagna and the lagan lord Venus is exalted in the 11th house of gains. Then we have a very strong Raja Yoga of 4th lord Sun in conjunction with 5th lord Mercury in the 10th house of governance. But since Sun is in Mrityu Bhagh and is debliteated in Navamsha so this yoga has become bit weak.

The 9th and 10th lord Saturn is in its own house and own Navamsha is excellent feature in this chart. Arvind Kejriwal has already earned good name because of the reforms he has brought in primary health care and education. His governments concept of ‘Mohalla clinic’ (Neighborhood medical facilities) in health care and ‘Happiness curricular’ in Delhi government schools are unique. Former United Nations General Sectary Kofi Annan has praised Mohalla clinic in a letter written to Arvind Kejriwal. Recently America’s first lady Melania Trump was highly impressed to visit Delhi government school’s Happiness class in her visit to India.

Arvind Kejriwal will earn more fame and success in next 10 years

The strong oath taking horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal and the running dasha of 5th lord in his own birth chart as well as in the foundation horoscope of Aam Aadmi Party will give more fame and success to them. The Vargottama lagna and Vargottam 10th lord in the best feature of this oath taking horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal. The good thing is the better placement of lagna lord and Moon in birth chart and Navamsha. In Navamsha lagna is receiving the aspect of its lord Venus while the Moon is in the 5th house in Virgo getting the aspect of its sign lord Mercury. It is very rare to see such strong lagna, lagna lord and Moon in any oath taking horoscope of chief minister.

The primary health care and education model of “Delhi Government” will not get adopted by many state across India in years to come. Delhi state has the luxury of surplus budget so it will allow its government to continue the subsidy for cheap electricity and water supply. In the oath taking horoscope the good “Dhana Yoga’s will ensure that state government of Kejriwal will have enough funds to support its scheme of public welfare. Though a debliteated planet in the 7th house of opposition will ensure a jealous and relentlessly aggressive opposition for them throughout their 5 year long tenure. The 7th and 12th lord Mars in the 8th house with Ketu and 8th lord Jupiter in the oath taking horoscopes shows the death of some AAP leader in next 2.5 years. This indication of the death of some important AAP leader is also coming in the foundation horoscope of this party which is being discuss below.

Foundation Horoscope of Aam Aadmi Party

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Venus 17 years 5 months 28 days

Unlike the foundation horoscopes of BJP and Congress party which has the Sun in the 10th house the horoscope of AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) has Saturn in the 10th house showing why this party have a bit different philosophy about its politics in India. Moon and Saturn are in the Kendra which is the best feature in the foundation chart of AAP. But then the lagna is a movable sign a ‘Chara Rashi’ which is not favored for the foundation of any organization as it do not give her stability. This party will continue to face the problem of deflections and strife within its structure. Moon is in Bharani Nakshatra which is regarded as a ‘Kroor Nakshatra’ gave them the image of always agitating party during its early years.

But as the maha dasha of 5th and 10th lord Venus progressed this party is getting politically mature. Arvind Kejriwal and AAP both are under the maha dasha of 5th lord in their respective charts. In Arvind Kejriwal’s birth chart maha dasha of 5th lord Jupiter is running. In AAP’s foundation horoscope the dasha of 5th lord Venus is running since its birth. Arvind Kejriwal and AAP has now learned the lesson of ‘main stream calm’ of Indian politics after some bitter experiences in their clashes with the BJP.

Future of Aam Aadmi Party

In the Venus-Rahu dasha from July 2017 to July 2020 AAP has managed to win the Delhi assembly elections. They now want to expend their organization’s setup into different state by participating the local bodies elections. In the coming Venus-Jupiter dasha from July 2020 to March 2023 not much success is expected as both dasha lords are 6/8 from each other. Venus though is involve in Raja Yoga’s but Jupiter is weak 12th lord which is in mutual aspect with 8th lord Sun showing some more controversies. There could be death of some important leader of AAP during Venus-Jupiter period in July 2020 to March 2023. The ruling BJP will unleash government agencies and its media to defame many AAP leaders in next 2.5 years.

Although the transit of Saturn and Jupiter from Makar Rashi in the lagna of AAP will give them some protection during June 2020 to July 2021. But overall the period of next 2 years are going to be difficult for them. Later Venus-Saturn dasha from March 2023 to May 2026 will give them very good success in general elections as well as in assembly polls in various states. It is during 2023 to 2029 the period of Saturn and Mercury sub periods in the major dasha of Venus when AAP will establish it self as a decent force in the national politics of India. Notice this in the horoscope of AAP the 9th lord Mercury in the 10th house with 10th lord Venus and lagna lord Saturn are in excellent Raja Yoga’s. So Venus-Saturn (from March 2023 to May 2026) and then Venus-Mercury (May 2026 to March 2029) will give good political success to Aam Aadmi Party.

Horoscope of Ajay Maken and Arvinder Singh Lovely- Can they revive Congress Party in Delhi State?

Ajay Maken is the biggest leader of Congress in Delhi State after the death of former chief minister Shiela Dikshit. Maken comes from the Punjabi community whose population is in large number in the city. He has been two times member of the parliament (2004 to 2010) and union cabinet minister in Manmohan Singh government of Congress. Earlier he was the member of Delhi legislative assembly since 1993 to 2004. In the Pisces (Meena) lagna horoscope of Ajay Maken the strong 9^th lord Mars in the 11^th house with 11^th lord Saturn shows his luck which gave him success at very young age. His 5^th lord Moon is in 9^th house and under the aspect of lagna lord Jupiter which make it very strong. He came into politics during the Dasha of Sun (1993 to 1999) which is strongly placed in the 10^th house of power with Mercury. See the Venus in the 12^th house of losses in his Navamsha and Dashamsa chart explains it. Since then he is concentrating on the state politics only and eyeing for the post of chief minister. Now it is Rahu-Jupiter Dasha (October 2018 to March 2021) in the horoscope of Ajay Maken. Rahu is in the 4^th house in Rashi, which is a Kendra house, but it do not get any aspect or association of Trine (angle) lord. Rahu and Ketu become Yogakaraka when in Kendra they get association of trine lords or in trine they get involve with Kendra lords as per a rule of Bhriat Parashara Hora Shastra. So maha Dasha lord Rahu is not involve in any Raja Yoga and so is the Bhukti lord Jupiter which get the unhelpful aspect of 11^th and 12^th lord Saturn. In Navamsha Rahu is strongly placed in the 6^th house and Jupiter is in own house in 3^rd which is good. In Dashamsa they are at 3/9 axis.

At the time of assembly polls Ajay Maken will be under Rahu-Jupiter-Venus (December 2019 to May 2020) which is not very promising considering the 12^th house placement of Venus. In Jaimini Chara Dasha he is running the Dasha of Virgo from where the 12^th house getting the aspect of Amatayakaraka Saturn is not good. The Bhukti is of Pisces which is the Rashi of his Karakamasha. So he is not likely to become chief minister in any case.

However, in year 2024 Ajay Maken will get a promising dasha of Rahu-Mercury in Vimshottari (January 2024 to July 2026) which can make him win Lok Sabha election and can also give him a post of minister at the center government.

The Cancer lagna horoscope given here is of former president of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Arvinder Singh Lovely. In 1998 when he won assembly election from east Delhi he was just 30 years of age. His career rose in Delhi politics subsequently as he won assembly elections in 2003, 2008 and 2013. In the maha Dasha of Moon (November 2003 to November 2013) and then in Dasha of Mars he has become a popular leader of Congress in Delhi state. He held many important positions as minister in Shiela Dikshit government during 1998 to 2013. Notice the aspect of Jupiter and Venus on the 10^th house from his Janma lagna. The aspect of Jupiter on the 10^th house from his Janma lagna and Moon has kept his image clean in public life. But then Moon’s association with 8^th lord Saturn and the ‘Shakata Yoga’ bue to the 6/8 position of Moon and Jupiter is a weakness of his horoscope.

In Navamsha Jupiter is exalted and aspect the 10^th house again. In Dashamsa Jupiter is in own house and here also it gives its pious aspect to the 10^th house of career.

But in 2019 Lok Sabha elections he contested from East Delhi against Gautam Gambhir of BJP and lost by a big margin. It was Mars-Venus Dasha (September 2018 to November 2019) in Vimshottari in his horoscope. Mars is exalted in the 7^th house from Janma lagna and Venus is in own house. But from the Moon the placement of Venus is not good. In Navamsha Venus falls in the 12^th house of losses.

Now at the time of assembly polls he would be under Mars-Sun Dasha in Vimshottari. Sun as the 2^nd lord in the 5^th house is along with 12^th lord Mercury do not give any Raja Yoga. In Dashamsa Sun is again in the 5^th house with malefic Saturn which is bad. In Chara Dasha it is the period of Sagittarius which get the Jaimini aspect of Atamkaraka Moon and Ganatikaraka Saturn which is unhelpful. The Amatayakaraka Sun falls in the 12^th house from Sagittarius will not give him any great success.

In year 2024 Arvinder Singh Lovely would be under favorable Rahu-Jupiter dasha in Vimshottari (July 2023 to December 2025). Jupiter is giving aspect to the 10th house where Rahu is placed. In Navamsha Jupiter is exalted and in Dashamsha it is in own sign. In both the charts Jupiter aspects the 10th house of career. So in 2024 Arvinder Singh Lovely can win Lok Sabha election seat to become a minister at center. Till 2024 both Ajay Maken and Arvinder Singh Lovely will not be able to do much to revive Congress Party in Delhi State.

‘Sadhe-Sati’ of Vijay Goel – What is the future ?

Vijay Goel is a senior BJP leader from Delhi who has been 4 time MP and has held cabinet portfolios in BJP governments at center. Till 2013 he was the chief of Delhi state BJP. In year 2014 he was made Rajya Sabha MP and inducted into cabinet of Modi government when he was passing through Jupiter-Venus Dasha in Vimshottari in his horoscope. At present he is taking the charge for attacking the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi over various issues. In his Scorpio lagna horoscope a good Raja Yoga of 9^th lord Moon and 10^th lord Sun is present in the 2^nd house. But the aspect of Saturn on this yoga from the 12^th house is a blemish. He is serving as the minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs at present but his work is not very distinguished. One can judge from his horoscope that lagna lord Mars in the 12^th house with Saturn is not very promising.

He is under Jupiter-Rahu (July 2019 to November 2021) Dasha in Vimshottari at present. Jupiter and Rahu both are under the aspect of lagna and 6^th lord Mars which will make him very aggressive. In transit Jupiter will be hovering over his natal Moon during this year. Rahu the Bhukti lord transiting from the 8^th house of his Janma lagna and 7^th from his natal Moon is not auspicious. Rahu is transiting in the Gemini sign at present. The solar eclipse of 26^th of December 2019 has fallen over his natal Moon which is ominous for him considering the sub period of Rahu which is acting as a malefic as it is under the aspect of 6^th lord Mars. He can fall under some controversies which will damage his political career. The Dasha lords Jupiter and Rahu are in the 6/8 position in his Navamsa chart and they are afflicted by Mars in Dashamsa chart. Vijay Goel will be under Jupiter-Rahu-Jupiter at the time of assembly polls in Delhi this year. He can invite dispute and may also face health issues. He do not have any chance for becoming the chief minister of Delhi.

A noticeable point in the horoscope of Vijay Goel is that there is a ‘Shoola Yoga’ in the chart as all the 7 planets are in 3 Rashi’s. Shoola Yoga is a Nabhasa Yoga which make native aggressive, ambitions and pron to suffer from enemies. The transiting Saturn is over the natal Moon of Vijay Goel at present. The Vimshottari dasha of Jupiter-Rahu is dasha ‘Chiddra’ as next dasha of Saturn is starting soon in November 2021. The dasha of Saturn will be difficult for Vijay Goel as Saturn falls in the 12th house of losses. Although in Navamsha and Dashamasha Saturn is little better but during Saturn-Saturn period his position looks little weak during 2022 to 2025.

Jaimini Yoga’s

Vijay Goel’s Karakamsha lagna is Leo from there Atamakaraka Jupiter is well placed in the 10th house. The current Chara dasha of Aquarius is from January 2020 to January 2024 which will keep him at the post of minister. See the position of planets from Aquarius are so good. Amatayakaraka Sun is in the 11th house from Aquarius with Moon, Mercury and Venus. But when Capricorn Chara dasha will come in January 2024 he will lose his political power. Amatayakaraka Sun falls in the 12th from Capricorn sign which also get the aspect of Atamakaraka making it a sensitive dasha for him.

So a combined analysis of Vimshottari and Jaimini dashas shows that Vijay Goel will fail to make any impact in the coming Delhi Assembly elections in February 2020. He will continue on the post of minister but may not have very distinguished achievements.

Iran in war mood and middle-east tensions

Iran and Saudi Arabia are two powerful neighbors in the middle-east who are at loggerhead since 1979 in a proxy war. Before 1979 the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia were good but it all changed after the Iranian revolution of 1979 in which the Islamic organizations overthrown the monarch of Shah Pahlavi who was supported by the USA then.The Shah of Iran had modernized his country with a series of reforms known as ‘White revolution’ since 1963. But after the Islamic revolution of 1979 the Shah Pahlavi’s regime was overthrown and a theocratic government under supreme leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini came into power which Islamized the society of Iran making it a radical country. The Iranian revolution of 1979 had its very deep impact on the politics of Muslim countries. Iran had bitter relations with USA, Israel and Saudi Arabia since then. In Hindu Astrology Rahu is the significian (Karaka) for Muslim’s. During 1979 Rahu was in conjunction with Saturn in its enemy sign Leo.

The Iran also had fought a dangerous war with Iraq later from 1980 to 1988 in which estimated one million people were killed. It was after the Iranian revolution the religious fundamentalism grew in many Sunni dominated countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. The conjunction of Saturn and Rahu in Leo was the astrological reason for that Islamic Revolution in 1979.

Since then Iran, which is largely a Shia Muslim state, is at loggerhead with Saudi Arabia who is leading Sunni Muslim power. Their rivalry started at the time of Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Virgo during 1980-81 when Iraq, secretly supported by Saudi and USA , attacked the borders of Iran. After nearly three decades during the Arab revolution of 2011-12 Iran took her revenge from Saudi Arabia by supporting from behind the forces who overthrew the Sunni dictatorial regimes in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. Post 2011 Arab uprising Iran and Saudi Arabia are in proxy war in Yemen, Syria and Bahrain. Interestingly during the Arab uprising Saturn was in Virgo in opposition with Jupiter in Pisces. A point to note here is that Saturn-Jupiter conjunction or opposition is a classical yoga for big wars and revolutions which can change regimes in many countries. The Saturn-Rahu conjunction or Saturn-Ketu conjunction is a yoga for rise of religious fundamentalism in the world and also wars.

Iran’s recent dominance in the Middle-East

This strategic rivalry between the two big Muslim nations is heating up because Iran in many ways is winning the regional struggle. In Syria Iranian support (backed by Russia) has proved crucial for President Bashar Al-Assad, who is from Shia sect, to save his regime from the continuous onslaught of Sunni rebellion forced backed by Saudi Arabia. In Yemen , Iran is supporting the Houthi rebels who have created troubles for Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile in Lebanon, an old ally of Iran, the Hezbollah (a Shia militia group) is now leading a politically powerful block and an armed fighting force which has become a threat for both Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Now when the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction is going to take place again, this time in Sagittarius and also in Capricorn, there is a clear danger for a destructive war in the middle-east in 2020. An important point to keep in mind the current Saturn-Ketu conjunction which has ignited tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Mars is also the lord of 6^th house placed in the 9^th house showing Saudi Arabia’s propagating the most fundamentalist version of Islam i.e. Wahabi Islam. Saudi Arabia is a home of Islam as holy cities Mecca and Medina are in this country which gave it high status among all Muslim nations. One can notice here a beautiful exchange between the 7^th lord Venus and 9^th lord Moon showing great religious stature of Saudi Arabia. Then also see a beautiful Gaja Kesari Yoga which is doubly strong due to Jupiter’s placement in Kendra from both lagna and Moon. The 2^nd and 5^th lord Jupiter conjoined with 8^th and 11^th lord Mercury shows great wealth of Saudi Arabia from underground resources which is crude oil.

This yoga also shows meticulous scientific achievements of this country. Jupiter in the 4^th house getting the benefic aspect of 9^th lord Venus shows loyal and patriotic citizens of Israel. Mars in the 12^th house giving aspect to the 3^rd house (neighbors), 6^th house (border clashes) and 7^th house (open war) astrologically explains Israel’s involvement in war at regular interval since its formation. At present Israel is under Mars-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari from August 2019 to August 2020. Mercury is the lord of Janma lagna with 12^th lord Sun in the 9^th house shows involvement in some foreign conflict. On the 29th of December 2019 Hemant Soren of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) took oath of the chief minister of state for the second time in a ceremony at Ranchi. Earlier Hemant Soren was the chief minister of state from July 2013 to December 2014 for a brief period of one and half year. This time his party JMM in alliance with Congress has got the clear majority in 81 members state legislative assembly. I had forecast about Hemant Soren’s victory in my post “Planets and Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2019” on this blog and also in my write-up for Hindi News Paper Navbharat Times website. Interestingly when Hemant Soren took oath of the chief minister of the state all the planets were in 3 Rashi’s making a ‘Shoola Yoga’. I will discuss his oath taking horoscope in detail but let’s first see the birth chart of Hemant Soren which is not under auspicious Jupiter-Ketu dasha.

Horoscope of Hemant Soren

Hemant Soren was born in Nemara village in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand which is a tribal area. He was born couple of hours before Sun set as per the information i got from my sources so i fixed Sagittarius lagna at 16:00 hours for him. He took admission in the mechanical engineering course but was not able to complete his studies as we can see in Sagittarius lagna chart Saturn from the 8th house aspect the 5th house of education and the 5th lord Mars falls in the 6th house showing this break in higher education. His father Shibu Soren is the founder of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha who fought a long political battle for the creation of Jharkhand state. His father is the three time chief minister of this state but in every term he had a very small tenure without any great achievements. We can see two benefic Mercury and Venus in the 9th house of father in the chart of Hemant Soren. Venus as the 6th lord in the 9th house gave disputes and court cases to his father. The 9th lord Sun falls in the 8th house along with 2nd lord Saturn showing corruption charges which his father faced in his political career and also a jail sentence in some criminal cases against him.

Noticeable point in Hemant Soren’s chart is that Sun is in Sarpa Dreshkkan. Sun as the lord of 9th house and karaka for father going into the 8th house in Sarpa Dreshkkan explains a controversial political career of his father. On the contrary Hemant Soren has an image of a soft leader which we can see from the Vargottama Jupiter giving aspect to his Janma lagna. Apart from this 5th lord Mars also aspect his Janma lagan making him an intelligent ruler.

Hemant Soren’s Marriage and Personal life

Hemant Soren married bit late considering the tribal background from which he comes getting married at the age of 31 for a men is a case of delayed marriage. See the ‘Paap Kartari Yoga’ across the 7th house of Janma lagna. Mars and Ketu are in the 6th house and Sun-Saturn in the 8th house flanking the 7th house of spouse. In Navamsha we have Moon in the 7th along with malefic Sun, Mars and Ketu. He got married on 6th of February 2006 when he was passing through Rahu-Ketu period in Vimshottari. Rahu and Ketu are covering the 1/7 axis of his Navamsha chart. He had two sons from his wife Kalpana.

Hemant Soren had become the chief minister for the first time in July 2013 during Jupiter-Jupiter dasha in Vimshottari. He lost his position in Jupiter-Saturn dasha during December 2014. Saturn is in the 8th house of humiliation. In Navamsha Saturn falls in the 12th house of losses.

Future of Hemant Soren’s political career

Hemant Soren is currently under Jupiter-Ketu dasha in Vimshottari from October 2019 to September 2020. His party JMM has won 30 seats in the 81 members legislative assembly and his alliance partner Congress has 16 seats. Together they have a strong 47 members alliance which is comparatively much better when compare to previous governments in the state. It was only BJP’s Raghuvar Das who was able to complete his tenure of 5 years as the chief minister (2014 to 2019) in the state since its formation in year 2000. Now Hemant Soren is likely to become the second chief minister who will achieve this feat with great success. His Jupiter-Venus dasha in Vimshottari from September 2020 to May 2023 will be good for his political career. Venus as the lord of 11th house is in the 9th house of luck. He will become famous amount the women voter of the state for his pro-poor policies. His government will do well in the area of health care, tribal welfare, development of villages and women welfare schemes. Venus is in enemy sign Leo and is debliteated in Navamsha but it get the aspect of 5th lord Mars and also lagna lord Jupiter so there is a Raja Yoga.

But the 8th lord Moon in the 10th house under the aspect of Saturn from the 8th will start making him unstable also. This will happen during Jupiter-Sun dasha (May 2023 to March 2024) when his father may fall ill very seriously and later in Jupiter-Moon dasha after March 2024.

Oath Taking Horoscope of Hemant Soren

Hemant Soren took oath as the chief minister in Vrishabha lagna on Sunday. The lagna lord Venus is strong in the 9th house along with Moon but then 4 planets in the 8th house is a factor which need to be closely looked. As per the basic principals of Muhurata the 8th house should be vacant. But here we have 10th lord Saturn falling in the 8th house along Sun which is natural karaka for political power. Although 4th lord Sun and the 5th lord Mercury makes a Raja Yoga but then it is in the 8th house of controversies and humiliation. I will not be surprise if Narendra Modi government open some old court cases of coal mining scams against Hemant Sore’s father to trouble them in future.

The 8th house signifies the ‘underground natural resources’. We all know that Jharkhand state owns 40% of all the minerals resources of India but 39% of its population lives below poverty line making it one of the poorest state of the country. Now in the oath taking horoscope of Jharkhand new chief minister Hemant Soren majority of planets are relegated into the 8th house so we can conclude that he will make considerable changes in the politics of mining in the state very soon. This will create a rift between him and central government. Interestingly in the birth chart of Hemant Soren there is Sun-Saturn combination and in his oath taking chart also this yoga repeats in the 8th house. ‘Sun-Saturn’ yoga gives trouble from the higher authorities. In case of a chief minister it means that he will have bad relations with the governor and central government.

Also a noticeable point here is that 7th house has a very strong Mars in the oath taking horoscope. The 7th house is the house of opposition party. In the oath taking chart and its Navamsha the 7th house is very strong. So the opposition party BJP will aggressively oppose Hemant Soren government policies decisions regarding ‘changes in laws related to mining in Jharkhand state’.

The new government of Hemant Soren will do lots of good work in the area of women and child welfare as the strong Moon and Venus in the 9th house of oath taking chart suggest. The overall performance of Hemant Soren government will be much better as compare to his predecessor Rabhubar Das.

Arvind Kejriwal’s Guru-Chandra Dasha and Delhi Assembly Elections in 2020

The Assembly Elections in Delhi are scheduled to be held in the first week of February 2020. In the last assembly polls Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP had won 67 out of 70 seats surprising everyone. It has been 21 long years that BJP is out of power from the Delhi assembly. First late Smt. Sheila Dikshit from Congress party forced BJP to sit into the opposition for 15 long years then Arvind Kejriwal appears on the political scene of Delhi riding on the wave of anti-corruption movement in 2011. In the second week of May during the general elections of 2019 i had discuss the horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal and had forecast his coming back to power in the assembly elections of 2020 in Delhi. In the Leo lagna horoscope of Arvind Kejriwal three benefic planets Jupiter, Venus and Mercury in the ascendant gives him a ‘pro-poor’ leader’s image. But since for Leo lagna Jupiter do not make a Raja Yoga with Venus and Mercury so his political career has been constrained under limitations. His Moon and lagna lord Sun both are in Rasi Gandanta which is also a weakness of this horoscope. Despite getting immense popularity with his surprise election wins in December 2013 and February 2015 he failed to capitalize on it. Later in Jupiter-Mercury-Saturn Dasha in Vimshottari he become the chief minister for second time in February 2015 when his party won the Delhi assembly polls with a thumping majority. Notice here the sub period lords Moon and Saturn are under the aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter. Moon and Saturn are not good for Leo lagna chart but as a Parashari rule if any planet comes under the influence of strong 5^th and 9^th lord then it can give good results.

Now at the time of assembly elections in February 2020 Kejriwal would be running under Jupiter-Moon Dasha in Vimshottari from July 2019 to November 2020. Jupiter is the lord of 5^th house from Janma lagna and it is 9^th lord from Moon. In Navamsha Jupiter is in good Gajakesari Yoga and in Dashamasha Jupiter is involve in an excellent ‘Neecha-Bhanga- Yoga’. The Bhukti of Moon in the horoscope of Kejriwal falls under the Parashari rule we have discuss above. Moon is under the benefic aspect of 5^th lord Jupiter. Also notice that Moon as the 12^th lord is in 9^th house of luck and is in exchange of houses with 9^th lord Mars. So Moon is also involve with the 9^th lord in a Yoga. If we study this condition from the ‘Chandra Kundali’ then we find that Moon is under the aspect of 9^th lord Jupiter and it is in exchange with its sign lord Mars which is in the 4^th house along with 5^th lord Sun which is another good Raja Yoga. So the Dasha of Jupiter-Moon has the potency to give good results both from the Janma lagna and Chandra lagna.

Guru-Chandra Dasha of Arvind Kejriwal will give him victory in Delhi Assembly elections in 2020

At the time of elections Arvind Kejriwal will be under Jupiter-Moon-Jupiter in Vimshottari (18 December 2019 to 21 February 2020) which is good Dasha for him. Jupiter and Moon are in a good mutual exchange of houses in the Shashtiamsha chart of Arvind Kejariwal which is given above.

The Chara Dasha would be of Pisces-Scorpio (September 2019 to April 2020). The Pisces is the 8^th house from Janma lagna and 9^th from his Atamakaraka Sun. Amatayakaraka Moon aspect the 12^th house from Pisces but it also gives the Jaimini aspect to the Bhukti Rashi Scorpio. The 10^th house from the Bhukti Rashi Scorpio has three benefic planets Jupiter, Mercury and Venus under the aspect of Amatayakaraka Moon and Darakaraka Saturn which is a good Jaimini Raja Yoga. So Arvind Kejriwal can get reelected for the post of Delhi chief minister but his strength may get reduce considerably.
