In the first month of year 2020 the news about Prince Harry, the grandson of Prince Philip and Elizabeth, and his wife Meghan’s leaving the royal family came as a blow to the reputation of British monarchy. The couple has announced that they will no longer use their royal titles and will also stop receiving public funds for discharging royal duties.
In this article I will discuss the horoscopes of Harry and Meghan from both Parashari and Jaimini perspective to see if there is any possibility for them to return back to the royal family ?

Prince Harry is the second son of Prince Charles who got married to an American Actress Meghan Markel on 19 May 2018. On the same day he was made the Duke of Sussex by his grandmother Queen Elizabeth. Harry and Meghan were blessed with a baby boy on 6th of May 2019 but in January 2020 the couple surprised everyone by making an announcement that they intend to step back as senior members of the royal family.
Prince Harry’s unconventional marriage
In the Sagittarius lagna horoscope of Prince Harry Jupiter in the ascendant in its own sign makes ‘Hansa’ Maha Purush Yoga. The 9th lord Sun is in own house along with 10th lord Mercury is the best Raja yoga for Sagittarius lagna as per Sage Parashara. But then from the Moon there is Saturn in the 7th house and the 7th lord from Moon is Venus which is debliteated showing his unconventional marriage. He married an American actress Meghan who was a divorcee and 3 years older than him in age. It was a highly unorthodox marriage considering British royal traditions. It was the Vimshottari dasha of Rahu-Mercury from March 2015 to September 2017 when Prince Harry has come in touch with Meghan in USA. Mercury is the lord of 7th house in birth chart and in Navamsha it is the lord of lagna. They announce their engagement in November 2017 (Rahu-Ketu dasha) and their marriage was solemnized in May 2018 when Harry was under Rahu-Ketu dasha in Vimshottari. Ketu is with Mars which aspect the 7th house of marriage. The next sub period to follow was of Venus which being the lord of 6th house from Janma lagna has to give him troubles. Venus is badly placed in the 12th house in the Navamsha chart receiving the bad aspect of 8th lord Mars. So till the Rahu-Venus dasha (October 2018 to October 2021) is running Harry is not likely to reverse his decision of leaving the royal family. It is in Rahu-Sun dasha from October 2021 to September 2022 in Vimshottari when we can expect him to change his mind. Sun the anter dasha lord is in a great Raja Yoga at the 9th house which beside luck also shows royal patronage and traditions.
Can Prince Harry come back to royal family ?
There is a great possibility that after the demise of Queen Elizabeth II or her retirement Prince Harry’s father Prince Charles will become the King of this monarchy and he will then pursue his son Harry to come back to the royal family. As per the horoscope of Prince Harry this is likely to happen during Rahu-Sun dasha from October 2021 to September 2022 when he can come back to royals after being pressurize by his father. Notice the aspect of Jupiter on the 9th lord Sun which is in own house.
From Jaimini angle Price Harry’s Libra chara dasha from September 2008 to September 2019 was good. Libra has his Putrakaraka Saturn in it. It was in May 2018 during Libra-Virgo Chara dasha when he married Meghan. Darakaraka Jupiter aspect the Virgo sign in Prince Harry’s chart. While Libra is the Rashi of his Dara-Pada and Virgo is the sign of his Navamsha lagna. In the subsequent Libra-Libra period he become father of a son in May 2019. Libra has Putrakaraka Saturn place in it has to give him a child immediately after marriage during its dasha. But then Virgo Dasha from September 2019 to September 2020 is running now. Prince Harry’s Atamakaraka Sun falls in the 12th house from Virgo and his Amatayakaraka Moon is in the 8th from Virgo showing change in his career and trouble with the family. Virgo has Gulika in the chart of Prince Harry which is also not a welcome thing.
But after a while the Chara dasha of Leo will start from September 2020 onward for full 12 years. Leo having Atamakaraka Sun in conjoined with Ganatikaraka Mercury is showing challenging periods for Harry. But the 9th house from Leo has Amatayakaraka Moon which shows that his father will inherit long awaited crown very soon. The period of Leo as per Jaimini system shows rise of his father after September 2020 which means that his father Prince Charles will become the King of UK. Then after September 2021 in Leo-Libra Dasha Prince Harry can come come back to the royal family at the request of his father. Sun is the Karaka for father in Prince Harry’s chart is showing tremendous influence of his father over his life. Sun as Atamakaraka as per Jaimini is getting the aspect of Amatayakaraka Moon which is a big Raja Yoga. So Prince Harry having such great Parasharai and Jaimini Raja Yoga cannot remain away from royal benefits for a very long periods.

The chart 2 of Cancer lagna given above is of Meghan Merkel who was earlier a successful actress in US television industry and also did two movies. In her Vargottama Cancer lagna chart Moon and Venus are prominent making her shine in glamor world. Moon as the lagna lord is in exchange of houses with 3rd lord Mercury. Moon is conjoined with 9th lord Jupiter and it get the aspect of 5th and 10th lord Mars so it is in a great Raja Yoga. Venus as the 11th lord is strongly placed in own Nakshtra in the 2nd house in birth chart and in Navamsha it get the aspect of Yoga Karaka Mars.
Meghan’s first marriage was ended in just 2 years. She married to an actor and producer in USA during Rahu-Venus dasha in Vimshottari in year 2011. In Rahu-Moon dasha in year 2013 she took divorce. Notice here Moon and Saturn are in close conjunction making a ‘Punar-Bhoo’ yoga which is a classical yoga for more than one marriages or relationships. Mars from the 12th house aspect the 7th house of marriage in the birth chart. In Navamsha the 7th lord Saturn is debliteated and is in mutual aspect with 12th lord Mercury. These astrological yoga’s has to give him trouble in marriage.
Meghan Markel’s Marriage with Prince Harry
At the time of her second marriage Meghan was under Jupiter-Saturn dasha in Vimshottari. It was in May 2018 when Meghan got married in the British royal family. Jupiter as the 9th lord is giving aspect to the 7th house of marriage. Mars the ‘Yoga Karaka’ planet aspect the 7th house of marriage and also notice the aspect of Sun on the 7th house which shows high status of his spouse. Mars also aspect the 7th lord Saturn here which is the lord of 7th house from Janma lagna and also from the Venus the Karaka for marriage. The noticeable point here is the conjunction of 7th lord with the 9th lord in both birth chart and Navamsha chart. This is another yoga for getting a spouse with royal patronage or of a high social status.
Meghan’s Feud with Royal Family
But then Meghan’s 7th lord Saturn is also the lord of 8th house in her Cancer lagna chart. Saturn is in planetary war with 6th and 9th lord Jupiter. In Navamsha Saturn is debliteated and is conjoined with 6th lord again. The dasha of Rahu-Mercury from April 2020 to July 2022 is showing excessive travelling now. Mercury is the lord of 12th house in birth chart and Navamsha. Meghan and Harry has announced that after leaving royal duties they will divide their time between North America and Britain. From the horoscope of Meghan it appears that it will be she who has to travel more because of the dasha period of 12th lord Mercury. Since Mercury is in ‘Mrityu Bhagh’ degrees so there could also be some more trouble in her relations with in-laws. Mercury is in exchange with Moon which is also in Mrityu Bhagh degrees. These are the two planets who are in Mrityu Bhagh degrees in her horoscope which is not a good indication for her health during the upcoming period of 2-3 years.
Jaimini Angle
In the horoscope of Princess Meghan the Chara dasha of Sagittarius (Dhanu) running from August 2012 to August 2021 has bring tremendous changes in her life. Dhanu as per Jaimini is known as the Rashi of rise and fall. In Meghan’s chart it is the 6th house from her Janma lagna, 4th house from Karakamsha and 5th house from Atamakaraka Venus. Notice the Jaimini aspects of Darakaraka Moon, Putrakaraka Saturn and Matrikaraka Jupiter on the 7th house from Dhanu where we have 5th lord and Bhatrikaraka Mars placed. Beside this Sagittarius in Navamsha has her Amatayakaraka Sun which make it even stronger. For a film actress to a royal princess was a big achievements for her during this Sagittarius dasha period.
But then there are some blemish on the Jaimini Raja Yoga’s in Meghan’s chart. Darakaraka Moon is in close association with Saturn which is Putrakaraka making a Raja Yoga but then Saturn is a hard malefic and they get the aspect of Mars another natural malefic. So her Darakaraka Moon is under the influences of two natural malefic planets. Sagittarius being the dasha of 6th house of disputes has to give her troubles in the family. Gulika is in Pisces which aspect Sagittarius and all the other Jaimini Karaka’s placed in dual sign’s.
But soon the Chara dasha of Scorpio (August 2021 to August 2028) will be in operation in her horoscope. Scorpio is the Rashi of 5th house from the lagna. It get the aspect of Amatayakaraka Sun which shows her getting reconcile with royal family again. This is what we had observe in the chart of her husband Prince Harry. So we can conclude that after 2021 both Harry and Meghan are likely to change their decision of leaving the British royal family. Before this we will see Harry’s father Prince Charles becoming the King of British monarchy and it will be he who will play a crucial role in perusing the couple to join the royal duties again.
