The November rain has exceeded the seasonal rainfall of North-East Monsoon in the southern peninsula of India. The North-East monsoon is expected to give some more rain in the coming days as Sun, Mercury and Saturn are conjoined in the watery rashi Scorpio. Unless Mercury leave the Scorpio sign on the 6th of December there will be no relief from rain in the coastal areas of southern peninsula of the country.
The conjunction of Mars, Rahu and Venus was responsible for the heavy flood in Tamil Nadu which is signified by zodiacal sign Virgo.
Now the winter season is approaching the Northern part of the country. My article on astro-meteorology ‘Winter Season 2015-16’ is published in the December issue of the Express Star Teller Magazine. The following predictions about the possible trends of winter season was given in that article by me.
Sun’s entry into Scorpio
17 November 2015, 00:04 hours mid night at Delhi
At the time of Sun’s entry into Scorpio the Leo sign is rising with benefic Jupiter strongly place in it. The Jupiter is in Kendra from the Sun which is heemed between Mercury and Moon. It is not only a good combination for good summer harvest but it also indicates a very pleasant winter season. Sun is with Saturn in this chart which shows that weather will be colder than normal for the season. There will also be good rainfall and above normal snowfall during the winter season as Mars will be behind the Sun all the time.
There will be early onset of the winter season in north and north-western parts of the country particulary. As per the Full Moon chart of 26 November 2015 ( at 04:14 hours Delhi) the conjunction of Sun, Mercury and Saturn will bring down the temperature drastically. In the lunar month of Mrigshira , starting from 26th of November and ending on the 25th of December, there will be five Thrusday’s and five Friday’s. As per various classcis of Medini Jyotish (mundane astrology) if in a lunar month there are five Thrusday’s and five Friday’s then there will be more rainfall in it and people will be remain happy. So it is highly possible that there will be good rainfall and snowfall in the hilly areas of north India according to the season, which during the first fortnight of December will surely bring down the temperatue sharply. Along the coastal areas of southern penninsula there will be more than normal windy spells and the depth of the low pressure will be higher due to the superior conjunction of Sun and Mercury in a watery sign Scorpio.
In the Himalayan region the snowfall will start earlier this season and particulary after the New Moon of 11th of December there will be an early onset of cold wave in the northern states. The state of Himachal Pradesh will receive more than normal snowfall for the season.As per Koorma Chakra the Himachal Pradesh is signified by Shravana Nakshatra in the zodical sign Capricorn. Similarly the state of Punjab also comes under the influence of Capricorn sign. So the Punjab will also get affected by the cold wind coming from the blizzared in the hilly areas. The Delhi and Haryana ruled by Scorpio sign will also remain cloder than the mormal during the month of December this year.
On the 25th of December the Venus will enter into Scorpio joining the Saturn there. Venus is the lord of Libra which signifies the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Venus also rules Taurus which signifies Bihar and Jharkhand states. So there will be extremely heavy rainfall in the Jammu & Kashmir region which will continute for many days from the 25th of December. The Bihar and Jharkhand will come under the grip of cold wave then.
The Sun and Mercury will be ahead of Venus which is also a combination of good rain and snowfall in the winter. The Sun and Mercury, transiting from Sagittarious then, will be under the benefic aspect of Jupiter which will give some good rain for crops at that time. The state of Uttarakhand ruled by Sagittarius will also receive above normal snowfall then.
The Mercury getting retrograde in Capricorn on January 5th 2016 and Jupiter going in retrograde motion on the 8th of the same month will bring very heavy snowfall in the hills of Himalayas. The superior conjunction of Saturn and Venus in the watery sign scorpio will bring extremely cold wave in the second week of January. Venus will be joining Mercury on the 19th of January 2016. It will not let the temperature go down much. In the central parts of India (Madhya Pradesh and Chattishgarh) the cold wave normally disappear after the Sun’s entry into Capricorn. But this will not happen in year 2016 as the conjunction of Venus and Mercury during the third week of January will keep the temperature below normal for the season.
On the 12th of February the Venus will join Sun and Mercury in Capricorn. These three planets will be under the aspect of Saturn which will initiate a fresh spell of snow fall in the hilly areas and cold wave in the northern states. The close conjunction of Mercury and Venus during the month of February and the entry of Mars in Scorpio on the 20th will bring some rain unseasonal rainfall. The Mercury will enter into the Aquarius on the 2nd of March 2016. It will again bring some unseasonal rainfall particulary in the state of Haryana signifies by Scorpio where the Mars and Saturn would have been transiting then. The unseaonal rain in the first week of March will give some losses to the farmers of wheat and cotton in particular. But in general the Rabi crops will be good and better than the last year.
Weather trends in USA, Europe and Australia
The current solar cycle has reached at the stage of solar minimum where the number of sunspots will be very few in 2015-16. This will give more cold and snowy winters in the northern latitudes. In the southern latitudes there will be more than normal rainfall for the season. In USA there will be lots of snow fall in the eastern coast areas after the full Moon of 26th of November. In Europe, particular in western parts, there will an early onset of cold , wet and snowy winters then. In northern Australia there will be highly wet summers with more rains during the month of December and January.
In the first week of January 2016 , when the Venus will be in conjunction with Saturn in the Scorpio, there will be a great blizzard and a snow storm in many parts of Europe and North America.
