Madhya Pradesh was once used to be the largest state of India in geographical size. But on the parameters of developments it was counted among the BIMARU ( Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Orissa) states. BIMARU has the resemblance to the word ‘Bimar’ in Hindi which means sick. This term was used to refer the poor economic conditions of these four states. Later on the 1st of November 2000 the state of Chattishgarh was caved out of Madhya Pradesh with the efforts of then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Since Congress had the most number of legislatures in undivided Madhya Pradesh then so its leader Ajit Jogi was given the charge of first chief minister of Chattishgarh. The state of Madhya Pradesh was then under the chief-ministership of  Digvijay Singh who was ruling the state since 1993. The assembly elections in December 2003 brought BJP into the power of Madhya Pradesh and Chattishgarh. These two states since then had made tremendous progress thanks to the visionary leadership of Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan and Raman Singh who as per the views of many are among the best of chief ministers from the BJP .

In the 15 years of BJP rule in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh lots of progress was made on the front of infrastructure specially development of roads and electricity facilities. But still these two states ranked among the lowest in Human Development Index calculated as per UN method. Now from the astrological perspective the transit of Saturn in Sagittarius is at adverse position in the horoscope of Madhya Pradesh and also in the horoscope of Chattishgarh which shows that the incumbent BJP governments may not return to power after the results of assembly elections will be declared on the 11th of December 2018.

The Vyapam scam tarnished the image of BJP state government in Madhya Pradesh. Now the state is in maha dasha of Mercury from September 2018. Mercury as the 12th lord placed in the 4th house of throne in the foundation horoscope of Madhya Pradesh shows fall of incumbent government. The transiting Saturn in Dhanu (Sagittarius) is in the 4th house from the natal Moon of Madhya Pradesh is making ‘Kantaka-Shani’ which is also an astrological indication for change in the mood of public.

Astrologically Chattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh’s claims are not likely to be come out correct. Venus-Saturn dasha ( April 2016 to June 2020) will not only bring a change in the state government of Chattisgarh but it may also bring more violence. The transit of Saturn in Sagittarius over the natal Moon of Chattisgarh will bring change in the government after elections. Later in 2020 the transiting Saturn and Jupiter in the 7th house of the foundation chart of Chattisgarh may create some more problems related with Naxalism in new forms. So as per the analysis of the horoscopes of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh the incumbent state governments of BJP in these states may not come back into the power.
