The first round for the French Presidential elections will take place on the 10th of April. The incumbent President Emmanuel Macron has not yet started his campaign as he is engaged in his ‘high profile’ mediation activities in Russia-Ukraine war. Macron is in direct touch with Putin and Zelensky as France is currently president of European Union which is also getting badly affected by this war. Macron’s horoscope is unique as it don’t have any Kendra (Square) and Kona (Trinagle) Raja Yoga’s but on the other hand the placement of lords of 6th, 8th and 12th house in his horoscope make it very peculiar. Unlike other world leader’s horoscope Macron’s chart has very rare kind of ‘Vipreet Raja Yoga’ which makes him an unconventional political personality. I will come to Emmanuel Macron’s horoscope in the second part of this article, but first we will study the chart of far right candidate Marine Le Pen who is the potential challenger for the post of French President in these elections.

Born August 5, 1968 at 11h. 20m. at Neuilly ( 2 E 16’, 48 N 53’) in France with balance of 2 years 5 months 19 days of Ketu Dasha.

In the Virgo lagna horoscope of Marine Le Pen Moon is in the 4th house in the sign of Jupiter getting the 5th aspect of Jupiter. As per Chandra Yoga Adhyay of Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra if Moon get the aspect of her sign lord then it is a good Raja Yoga. Although there is no planet on the either side of Moon so it is in ‘Kemadruma Yoga’ which shows struggle in career. In 2017 French Presidential Elections she obtained 2nd position when she was passing under Rahu maha Dasha and anter dasha  of Jupiter. Rahu and Jupiter are in 6/8 position from each other which make her suffer a defeat though Venus, which is karaka for Virgo langa, is in conjunction with Jupiter made her shine as a strong opposition leader since then. Venus as the lord of 9th house is in conjunction with 4th and 7th lord Jupiter which is a decent yoga for Virgo lagna chart.

Rahu maha dasha of Marine Le Pen 

Now Marine Le Pen would be under Rahu maha Dasha Mercury anter dasha and Mercury Pratyanter dasha at the time of French election in April 2022. Mercury is the lord of lagna and 10^th house but it is in its  enemy sign Cancer. Mercury is combust with 12^th lord Sun and is conjoined with 8^th and 3^rd lord Mars in the 11^th house. So the conjunction of anter dasha  lord Mercury with ‘Dusthana’ lord is not favourable. Mercury is also in the 8th house from her Moon which is also not very helpful. In Navamsha her Rahu and Mercury both are in the 6th house of struggle. The election process will be completed at the time when she would be under Rahu-Mercury-Mercury period from 5 January 2022 to 17 May 2022.

In Dashamsha  the maha Dasha lord Rahu is in the 6^th house along with Mars while the Bhukti lord Mercury is in the 9^th house but is in conjunction with 6^th lord Venus there and is in mutual aspect with 8^th lord Moon which shows another possible defeat for her.

As per Jaimini system the period of Pisces is running from August 2016 to August 2023. Pisces is the 7^th house from her Janma lagna and it is the 4^th house from her Karakamsha which is Sagittarius. The Amatayakaraka Mercury, Atamakaraka Sun and Putrakaraka Mars are in the 5^th house from Pisces making a  very good Jaimini Raja Yoga. But these three important Karaka’s are giving Jaimini aspect to the 12^th house from Dasha Rashi   Pisces. In Jaimini system the movable sign aspect the fixed sign. Since three Karaka planets are giving aspect to the 12^th from Dasha Rashi  so things will not be easy for her. The anter dasha  of Capricorn would be running from 4 November 2021 to 5 June 2022. The Anter dasha  Rashi  Capricorn is the 5^th house from Janma lagna and 2^nd from her Karakamsha but there is no benefic in Kendra from it which is not good. The 10^th Pada is in Leo which is 6^th from the Dasha Rashi  Pisces and 8^th from the Anter dasha  Rashi  Capricorn. So despite good performance she will not be able to defeat Emmanuel Macron in  yet another election.

The horoscope of French President Emmanuel Macron is one of the most peculiar  chart of a world leader i have ever come across in my practice of astrology since last 15 years. The birth chart of Macron don’t have any ‘Kendra-Kona’ Raja Yoga. But his Moon is very strong as it is in exchange of house with its sign lord Mars. As per the ‘Chandra Yoga Adhyay of Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra’ if Moon gets aspect or conjunction or is in exchange of houses with its sign lord then it is a good Raja Yoga. A debilitated and retrograde Mars in the 7^th house also amply explain  his unconventional marriage.

Emmanuel Macron’s unconventional  marriage

Macron’s wife Brigitte Trogneux is 24 years senior to him and was his high school teacher earlier. They had first met when Macron was a 15 year old student and Brigitte was a 39 year old teacher. As per news reports in French media  they came into relationship when Macron was 18 year old only but his parents forced him to separate from this relationship. Macron was passing under maha Dasha of Moon ( July 1992 to July 2002) at that time. Moon as the 7^th lord in exchange with debilitated Mars shows this unconventional relationship. Later couple united again and married in October 2007 when Macron was running under Mars Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha . Venus is the lord of 7th house from Moon in birth chart. In Navamsha Venus is in the 2nd house which also signify marriage. In Navamsha chart Saturn aspect the 7th house of marriage which shows an older spouse.

 

Vipreet Raja Yoga’s in Macron’s horoscope

The birth chart of Emmanuel Macron is a classic example of Vipreet Raja Yoga’s. The lord of ‘Dustahan’s (6^th, 8^th and 12^th) are placed in each other’s houses. The 6^th lord Mercury is in the 12^th house, 8^th lord Sun is also in the 12^th house and 12^th lord Jupiter is placed in the 6^th house. In maha Dasha of Rahu since July 2009 Macron has enjoyed a great rise in his career; first as a civil servant and then as a politician. Notice the placement of strong benefic planets in the 10th house from Rahu in birth chart, Navamsha and Dashamsha chart of Macron. I missed this important point while making a prediction in my article ” Astrological Forecast on French  Presidential Elections in 2017”

Rahu is in its friendly sign Virgo and in the Navamsha of Gemini which is excellent. Rahu maha Dasha has  gave him a great political rise and later he became French president in Anter Dasha  of Saturn in May 2017.

A special rule of Saturn in the horoscope of Politicians

Saturn as the Kendra or Trikona lord giving aspect to a Kendra house gives a good political rise as per a research of my teacher Shri  K.N. Rao. This rule is applicable in the chart of Emmanuel Macron where Saturn as the lagna lord aspect the 10^th house. In Navamsha and Dashamsha  Saturn as the Kendra lord aspects the Kendra houses. Saturn taking the lordship of Kendra or Trikona giving aspect to the Kendra house in Rashi , Navamsha and Dashamsha  is commonly found in the horoscopes of popular political personalities and persons getting fame in public life.

Rahu Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha  of Macron 

The Rahu Dasha and Venus Anter Dasha  is running from January 2021 to February 2024. At the time of French elections the Pratyanter Dasha  of Rahu would be running from mid of March 2022 to mid of August 2022. The 2022 French presidential elections will be held in two rounds on the 10^th and 24^th of April respectively. As per the French electoral system should no candidate win an absolute majority in the first round then a runoff will be held between the top two candidates. At the time of French Elections Rahu-Venus-Rahu period in the horoscope of Macron from 14 March 2022 to 25 August 2022 is very positive. We have already explained the strength of Rahu now see the position of anter dasha lord Venus in birth chart, Navamsha and Dashamsha. In birth chart it is the lord of 10th and 5th house placed in the house of gains in 11th house. In Navamsha it again become a ‘Yoga Karaka’ by obtaining the Kendra and Trine lordship. Venus is exalted in the 2nd house in his Aquarius Navamsha chart. Venus become the lord of lagna in Dashamsha chart which will give Macron another tenure as French president.

Jaimini Chara Dasha in the horoscope of Emmanuel  Macron 

As per Jaimini Chara Dasha the maha Dasha of Taurus and Anter Dasha  of Sagittarius is running from 21 December 2021 to 21 June 2022. The Dasha Rashi  Taurus and Anter Dasha  Rashi  Sagittarius are in 6/8 from each other. But we have benefic planets in Kendra from both signs which is good. Then Amatayakaraka Moon is giving Jaimini aspect to the 10^th house from Taurus and 12^th house from Sagittarius. The 10^th Pada is in Anter Dasha  Rashi  Sagittarius only, so after some initial struggle Emmanuel Macron will get re-elected as French president.
