The terror attack on Paris unleashed by Islamic State (IS) terrorists has shocked the whole world. After the horrible violence in the evening of 13th of November 2015 in Paris the French government has declared war on the Islamic State terrorist group. The France is a member of NATO led by USA fighting the so called war on terror in Iraq and Syria. The Russia is also conducting air strikes targeting IS hideouts in Syria, since 30th of September 2015, after the request made by its president Bashar-al-Assad. So the Syrian sky is now crowded with NATO and Russian aircrafts. After the Ukraine war in 2014 the Russian president Putin has become more aggressive towards USA and its allies in his statements.
Putin has accused USA for creating the menace of ISIS , the rebel Sunni Jihadi group, now known as IS, for the purpose of taming down Al-Qaeda in Iraq and Syria. He has accused the USA for using terrorist against the terrorist for its economic and strategic interests. The greed of US to control the oil wealth in Iraq and Syria has put the whole world at the danger of a third world war like situation. After the ‘Cuban Missile Crisis’ of 1962 it is perhaps the second time when the world has come so close to the possible danger of escalating a full-scale nuclear war.
The simmering tensions about NATO (US and Its allies) getting into a war with Russia and/or China is a real danger now. It could spark out from any were and may lead to a catastrophic war which can be deadlier than the World War II. The flash points can be Syria or Turkey where the Russia may have skirmishes with USA and its allies in the air or it can be South-China Sea where navy of Japan and/or USA may have confrontations with the new super power China. Then Israel and Palestine is one more danger zone which if gets ignited can lead to a ruinous war in the Middle-East. The tensions between North- Korea and South-Korea may also accelerate into a big war in 2016. Don’t forget Kashmir which had earlier become the cause of four dangerous wars between India and Pakistan.

Solar Eclipse
9 March 2016, 07:23 hours at Delhi
Longitude: 77E 13’ and Latitude: 28N 40’
A total solar eclipse will be visible on the 9th of March 2016 in large parts of South-East Asia and Pacific Ocean region. In some parts of India and Nepal the sun will rise with partially eclipsed on the morning of 9th of March. The planetary position at the time of this solar eclipse is horrible. I have studied scores of eclipse charts but it appears to me one of the most enigmatic for the following reasons.
- As per the Rahu-Chaar Adhayaa of Brihat Samhita if Sun or Moon rises or sets at the time of an eclipse then it destroy the crops and gives grief to the kings. {Reference: Sloka number 27 in Rahu-chaar Adhaya of Brihat Samhita}
- The eclipse point, which is in Aquarius, will be active for about 6 months as Mars will keep giving its aspect to it from Scorpio until 18th of September when it will leave this sign. As per Brihat Samhita When Mars aspect Sun or Moon at the time of an eclipse then it brings war, fire accidents and threat from thieves. {Reference: Sloka number 60 of Brihat Samhita}
- This solar eclipse will be followed by a lunar eclipse, which will occur on 23rd of March, in the same lunar month ‘Phalguna’. As per Varahamihira when two eclipses falls in the same lunar month then it bring a dangerous war and fall of kings. { Reference: Sloka number 26 of Brihat Samhita}
- The Jupiter is retrograde and under the malefic influences of Rahu and Saturn at the time of this eclipse. So the protection of Deva Guru Brihaspati (Jupiter) is also not present in this eclipse chart. Jupiter’s aspect can only be considered pious like ‘Ganga-Jala’ if it is unaffilicted and is not retrograde.
- The eclipse occurring in the bearish sign Aquarius presents the danger of a global recession. Jupiter the karaka of finance getting heavily afflicted indicates the catastrophic fall of stock markets around the world immediately after this eclipse.
- The Kendra position of all the major planets is also a very dangerous feature of this eclipse chart. In Navamsa the luminaries (Sun and Moon), Mars and Saturn are in earthy sign which is combination of deadly earthquakes. In the book “Astrology in Predicting Weather and Earthquakes” at page number 61 late Shri B.V. Raman has said that ‘Eclipses falling at quadrants to Jupiter, Saturn or Mars produces earthquakes’.
The eclipse occurring in the Purva-Bhadrapada Nakshatra indicates a strong earthquake in the north direction. The Purva-Bhadrapada nakshatra represent north direction in the Koorma Chakra. The Aquarius sign signifies the west direction. A strong earthquake measuring 7.7 or more at the Richter scale will come in the Himalayan region within 15 days of the occurrence of this solar eclipse. This will affect the safety of large masses and properties in Northern states particularly in Uttarakhand, Utter Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The tremors of this earthquake may also be felt in Pakistan and some western parts of India.
There is also a great possibility of some strong tremors in the second half of April or in the first half of May when transiting Mars, Saturn and Jupiter will be in retrograde motions. It may bring earthquakes in Northern parts of China and Hindu-Kush region of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

English Translation: When at the time of an eclipse the Sun and Moon are associated with malefic planets then it destroys the kings as well as their state is what Sages had stated.
Since at the time of this solar eclipse the Mars would have been exerting its aspect to the Sun and Moon thus it confirms an astrological possibility of a big war. This war could take place in the west direction as the solar eclipse is falling in Aquarius signifying the same direction. Apart from it the ‘Dukha-karaka’ Saturn is transiting from Jyeshtha Nakshatra which as per some classics bring war in the west direction.

English Translation: When Saturn is transiting from Anuradha and Jyeshtha Nakshatra then there will be calamitous war in the west direction.
So astrologically there is a great possibility of the occurrence of a deadly war at the western borders of India and in the west direction from India. A war between India and Pakistan is highly possible during the months of April, May and/or June. Similarly there is also a great threat of a war in the Middle-East and Europe which comes in the west direction from India if we see the ‘Koorma-Chakra’.
Apart from this an annular Solar Eclipse of 1 September 2016 also presents the astrological combinations which will not let the world remain peaceful. The Solar eclipse of 1 September 2016 will occur in the sign Leo which would be under the malefic aspect of Saturn transiting from Scorpio.

These two solar eclipses will be worst for USA as they will afflict the lagan and Moon in its foundation chart. The solar eclipse of 9 March will be more dangerious for USA as at that time all the major planets will be in square from its ascendant. The transiting Saturn and Mars from the 4th house of USA will present the danger of some earthquakes and terrorist attack in the country. In the months of April and September there could be tremors in Chicago, Philadelphia and/or Washington. As per Ptolemy the Chicago and Philadelphia are signified by sign Leo and the Washington is represented by Scorpio sign.
There is also a great possiblity of some terrorist attack in the months of April and/or in September in the USA. The solar eclipse of 9 March falling at the 7th house of war in Aquarius, over its natal Moon, will put cuntry into a dangerous war. The Vimshottari dasa of Mars-Ketu running from 12 April 2016 to 8 September 2016 also confirm the same. Mars is in mutual aspect with Saturn. The sub period lord Ketu is in the 6th house in Rasi chart and in Navamsa it is in the 7th house of war. The top leadership of USA may come under the threat of some terrorist attack in 2016. This will force the country to declare an emergency. There is also a great possibility the USA may come under a war like situation with Russia , China and Iran.

Balance of Dasa in Vimshottari: Moon 8 Years 8 Months and 1 Days
In the horoscope of Russia the Vimshottari dasa of Rahu-Mercury is in operation from 25 January 2014 to 14 August 2016. The anterdasa of Mercury had put Russia in two dangerous wars. The war in eastern Ukrain started aftermath of the 2014 Ukranian Revolution. Russia annext the territoris of Cremia which ware part of Ukrain. This move of Russia was opposed by NATO and many crippling senctions were imposed on Russian companies which are still not lifted. Since then Russian economy has come under tremendous strain as its export of oil and gas to the western Europe has been declined due to these sanctions.
Recenlty the tension between Russia and NATO grew when Turkey, a member of NATO, shot down a Russian fighter plan on 24th of November 2015. In response Russia put economic sanctions over Turkey and threatened him to be prepare for dangerous consequence. In the horoscope of Russia the anter dasa lord Mercury is the weakest planet in the Shad- Bala getting only 5.6 Rupa’s. Mercury is conjoined with 12th lord Sun in the Rasi chart. In Navamsa and Dasamsa Mercury is under deblitation which is not good. Now the solar eclipses in 2016 will fall across the 6/12 axis of the ascendant and 2/8 axis of the natal Moon of Russia which present a danger of war.

Balance of Dasa in Vimshottari: Moon 9 years 11 months 23 days
China is challenging the might of USA in South-China Sea region where it is creating islands and airstrips to stratigically put its authority over the potentioal explotiation of crude oil and natural gas in this disputed region. The Taiwan, Malaysia , Philippines and Vietnam have also their maritime and island claims in the region. The USA is backing Philippines and Taiwan to help them to confront the hegemony of China. In the similar nature of dispute in the ‘East China Sea’ region the USA has stood behind Japan and South-Korea. At present China is under the enegamatic Vimshottari dasa of Saturn-Rahu from 5 July 2014 to 13 March 2017.
The solar eclipse of 9 March will fall across the 2/8 axis of China’s lagan and Moon. This eclipse will bring destruction from an earthquake and war losses for the country. The dasa lord Saturn and Rahu are in the 6/8 position from each other in Rasi and Navamsa charts. Saturn is in the 8th house of war losses and Rahu is in the 3rd house of neighbouring countries. The China will have territorial conflicts with Philippines, Vietnam, South-Korea and Japan. There will also be tensions between China and USA over these military conflicts.

Balance of Dasa: Jupiter 6 years 8 months and 26 days
Among the European countries France would be under the tremendous risk of becoming a victim of a ruinous terrorist attack by IS in 2016. It may involve some chemical or biological weapon of mass destruction as the Saturn and Mars transiting from Scorpio sign gives such indications. Scorpio is the sign of chemicals and secret weapons. In the Pisces lagan chart of France the Venus-Rahu period is running from 9 January 2015 and it will last till 9 January 2018. Both these dasa lords are in the 7th house of war in Rasi chart. In Navamsa Venus become the lord of 8th house (mass deaths) and Rahu is in the 7th house again.
The Venus-Rahu-Jupiter from 13 February 2016 to 8 July 2016 looks very dangerous for the country. The Pratyanter dasa lord Jupiter is falling in the 8th house presents the danger of a horrible terrorist attack and a big war during its period. France has the most number of Muslim populations than any of the European country. Most of the Muslims are immigrants from its former colonies in North Africa. So France is bound to have stringent relationship from many of these countries as its residence may get caught for their involvement in terrorist activities in days to come.
As many as 14 North African countries are still paying tax to the France, since their independence, for the so called benefits from French colonization. But now the Venus-Rahu dasa shows a setback to France in foreign relations. The seventh house is the house of foreign treaties. The dasa lord Venus and Rahu place in the 7th house under the influence of 6th lord Sun shows disputes in foreign treaties. France will suffer huge economic setbacks due to the cancellation of some of these ‘colonial pact’ with its former colonies.
