Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn and Farmers Protests in India

The conjunction or opposition of Saturn and Jupiter is a classical yoga for civil unrest and crisis in economy which is mention in the Brihat Samhita’s chapter number 10, Shani-Chaar-Adhayaa stanza number 19. On the basis of this principal i had forewarned two years back about a possible economic recession and public protests in many countries, including India, against crony capitalism. The Indian farmers are protesting against the ‘2020 Indian Agricultural Acts’ which is a set of 3 Acts passed in the Indian Parliament in the third week of September. In my post written on the 7th of December 2020 i had forecasted the possibility of a long public protest movement which will eventually forced the government to first suspend and then repeal these controversial farms laws. Now the five planets conjunction in Capricorn on the day of ‘Makar Samkranti’ i.e. solar ingress of Sun in Capricorn and then the six planets conjunction on the 11th and 12th of February will make this farmer protest movement more intense.

In my post about Solar Eclipse of 14th of December 2020, which was posted on the 7th of December, i had mention this that the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter is bad for the Indian government. I had specifically mention about the possibility of a long haul of protests by farmers against the government and crony capitalist which is now coming out correct.

These 2020-2021 Indian Farmers Protests may even surpass the 2011 Indian Anti-corruption movement , which had occurred at time when Saturn was transiting from Virgo and Jupiter was in Pisces making 1/7 axis (opposition) of both major planets of the solar system. The farmers have a major objection against the ‘Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act 2020’ which removes foodstuff such as cereals, pulses, onion, potato’s, edible oilseeds etc. from the list of essential commodities which will lift the stock holding limits on these items except under extraordinary circumstances. This amendment in essential commodities act will clear the way for corporates to stock agricultural produces in unlimited quantity which will enable them to manipulate the prices at the time of harvest. Apart from this farmer also want a legislation to guarantee them MSP or minimum support price for their harvest.

Horoscope of Solar Ingress of Sun in Capricorn or Makar Samkranti Kundali 2021

The last time this conjunction had occur in 1962 when India was an importer of cereals from the west to full fill its domestic need. But a green revolution in coming years had later made her a self sufficient and now a food surplus country. Now this conjunction of Saturn-Jupiter in Makar Rashi will bring major awareness among the masses about the plight of farmers and their economic concerns.

Makar or Capricorn is also consider as a watery sign in astro-meteorology which will bring more rains in coming days which is beneficial for Rabi crops like wheat, barley, mustered, sesame and peas. This rain will be beneficial for fruits and vegetables as these benefic planets in Capricorn will also ingress from Shravana Nakshtra in February month. As per Brihat Samhita’s ‘Graha Yuddha Adhaya’ there are 5 types of planetary wars which can take place between Tara Graha’s (Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn) and the results of these depends upon which planet has won the war. It is not possible to mathematically calculate which planet is winner in a planetary war as Sages have given many conditions like colour of disk, direction in the sky, north or south declination, shine of planet in the sky etc which has to be judge with the naked eye at the moment of war between two planets. So I will not go more deep into the matter but reader must notice this that in the conjunction of six planets in Makar or Capricorn Rasi Saturn and Jupiter are also involve. As per Brihat Samhita’s chapter number 10, Shani-Chaar-Adhayaa stanza number 19 the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter bring major violent disturbances in some cities and there is a war like situation. In the sloka number 17 of the same text the Acharya Varahamihira has mention that transit Saturn in Shravan Nakshatra brings troubles for government servants, famous businessman’s, medical practitioners, pontiff’s and the inhabitants of Kalinga (Orissa).

This six planet conjunction taking place in Capricorn is likely to intensify the farmers protest movement which will trouble many prominent government ministers and also some religious preachers who may themselves enter into to mediate between farmers and government.

Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 was one of the most closely fought elections in recent years. It was like a ‘photo finish’ for NDA led by Nitish Kumar who got just 12,768 votes more than the Grand Alliance led by Tejashwi Yadav. I will discuss this interesting data of Bihar Assembly elections later but first we will have to study the oath taking horoscope of Nitish Kumar which is looking lacklustre like his party JDU’s performance in recent polls. On the 16th of November 2020, Nitish Kumar took oath for the office of Bihar Chief minister for record 7th time at Patna. The time was 16:39 hours in the evening when the Swearing-In of Nitish Kumar happened. It was Aries rising in the ascendant with Moon, Ketu and Sun in the 8th house making an inauspicious ‘Balarishta’ yoga. This weak oath taking horoscope of Nitish Kumar suggest that he will not able to complete his tenure and it might also happen that he may join hands with Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD again any time after March 2021.

In my article “Bihar Assembly Elections 2020- An astrological study” posted on the 12th of September 2020 i had forecasted a close contest between ruling NDA in Bihar and challenger Tejashwi Yadav’s grand alliance. I had given a prediction for the re-election of Nitish Kumar as the chief minister of Bihar which was also published in the October 2020 issue of Modern Astrology Magazine and at the Hindi News Paper Navbharat Times website.

The rising sign Aries, in the oath taking chart, is hemmed between malefic planets Rahu and Mars on the either side making a dangerous ‘Paap Kartari’ yoga. The lagan lord Mars is falling in the 12th house under the aspect of functional malefic Saturn and a Maraka Venus. This situation is not good for the longevity of his government and alliance with the BJP. Nitish Kumar’s political career in Mars and Rahu dashas

Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Mercury 10 years 8 months 10 days

If we have to study Nitish Kumar’s career as chief minister astrologically then we would require to divide it into two parts. During 2005 to 2013 he was the dominant partner in his alliance with the BJP. It was maha dasha of Mars (November 2004 to November 2011) in the horoscope of Nitish Kumar when he got lot of fame for his administrative skills and pro-women policies in the Bihar state. Mars is in the 10th house of Nitish Kumar’s birth chart along with 5th lord Venus and is in mutual aspect with 9th lord Saturn. It is a Parashari Principal that any planet connected with 5th and 9th lord both become highly auspicious and gives Raja Yoga.

In 2013, when Nitish Kumar was in Rahu-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari, he was regarded as the prime minister material by many political pandit in case of hung parliament if third front came into power. Nitish Kumar also had ambitions to become the prime minister of India and he took a bold decision by coming out of NDA in the mid of 2013. But his party performed very badly in parliamentary elections in 2014 as they could manage to get only 2 seats out of 40 contested in Bihar. Nitish Kumar resigned as the chief minister and appointed his party’s Jitan Ram Manjhi on this post but that also turned out to be a bad decision for him. In 2015 he entered into a poll alliance with Lalu Yadav’s RJD and Congress Party. It was his Rahu-Jupiter in Vimshottari when this alliance got a thumping majority in Bihar assembly elections in 2015. But RJD was the leading party with 80 seats won in 243 members legislative assembly and Nitish Kumar’s JDU could manage 71 seats.

How BJP cut down Nitish Kumar’s political stature

Rahu is the karaka for the politics of manipulations and unethical conducts. Rahu is in the 9th house in the horoscope of Nitish Kumar along with 7th and 10th lord Jupiter. The conjunction of Rahu and Jupiter is a Raja Yoga as Rahu or Ketu in the trine along with Kendra lords make a good Parashari Raja Yoga. But then Rahu-Jupiter together also create a ‘Chandal Yoga’. This yoga makes the person manipulative and deceptive in nature. When Rahu-Saturn in Vimshottari came Nitish Kumar shift side and joined hands with his old partner BJP again in the mid of 2017 just 17 months after getting a thumping mandate in grand alliance of secular parties. Since then Nitish Kumar popularity in Bihar start falling. See the position of Rahu and Saturn in his chart which are at the 6/8 axis. Since Saturn as the 9th lord is in 4th house and the 4th lord Mercury is in the 9th house so his Raja Yoga continued.

I had forecasted his re-election in Bihar assembly polls on the basis of above mention Raja Yoga’s in the horoscope of Nitish Kumar. But then he is under Rahu-Mercury in Vimshottari (October 2019 to May 2022) which can give another political surprise as Mercury is in the Nakshatra of Rahu. In the horoscope of Nitish Kumar Mercury is combust by 3rd lord Sun. The 3rd house is the house of your alliance partners. During Rahu-Mercury Nitish Kumar’s party JDU could manage only 43 seats while his alliance partner BJP has manage to secure 74 seats in the recently concluded Bihar Assembly Polls. In Shada Bala Mercury is getting 4.79 Rupa Bala which is the least among all the planets. Thus a weak Mercury sub period, though in Raja Yoga, has made Nitish Kumar’s stature reduce as compare to his position earlier specially during Mars dasha and early part of Rahu dasha (2005 to 2013) when he was considered as a contender for major role in politics at the centre. This is how a combust and weak planet in Shada-Bala trouble the native.

BJP has appointed two deputy chief minister’s under Nitish Kumar to check his authority in Bihar as the chief minister. Earlier Nitish Kumar was comfortably working with Sushil Modi who was deputy chief minister from the BJP but was more inclined towards Nitish who was his collage friend since 1970’s. Now BJP has removed Sushil Modi from the post of deputy chief minister making Nitish Kumar uncomfortable.

Can Nitish Kumar join hands with Tejashwi Yadav again ?

The transiting Saturn and Jupiter from Capricorn will influence the 8th house in the horoscope of Nitish Kumar. Saturn and Jupiter will be in Capricorn from 20th of November to 7th of April 2021. During this period there will be major rifts between Nitish Kumar’s JDU and his alliance partner BJP. Nitish Kumar may come out of NDA alliance any time after March 2021 or before the end of 2022 in any case. As per his oath taking horoscope and birth chart his continuation in alliance government with BJP do not seems to be good. He will not be able to complete his tenure as the chief minister of Bihar this time and he may once again join hand with RJD led by Tejashwi Yadav. This may happen after BJP introducing ‘uniform civil code’ bill in the parliament in early 2021. Nitish Kumar is fundamentally against the Uniform Civil Code and National Register of Citizens which are now the core agenda of BJP after fulfilment of the promises of Ayodhya Ram Temple and abolition of Article 370 in 2019. Nitisth Kumar is also angry over BJP’s secret support to Chirag Paswan who fielded candidate against JDU to cut Nitish Kumar’s party votes in the assembly elections. These troubles can compound at such magnitude that it would be difficult for Nitish Kumar to work with BJP led by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah in future.

Bihar Assembly Elections 2020- An astrological study

The election commission of India is going to conduct polls for Bihar legislative assembly’s 243 seats during the coming months of October and November. The ruling JDU and BJP do not want to postpone the elections for the fear of public anger which may increase because of the serious outbreak of corona virus epidemic, destructive flood and growing economic crisis resulting into job losses. The Nitish Kumar’s JDU is banking on his leader’s clean image, political goodwill and proven track record as chief minister of the state of 15 long years. The horoscope of Nitish Kumar suggest that he can get reelected again as the chief minister of the state making a record but these assembly polls will be a nail biting contest. The horoscope of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is also under auspicious Vimshottari dasha which will make him a very strong leader of opposition.

JDU’s horoscope is stronger than RJD

Nitish Kumar has formed Janatal Dal United (JDU) along with Sharad Yadav and late George Fernandes on 30 October 2003 at 12:10 pm in Patna, Bihar . In the horoscope of JDU the Capricorn lagan is rising with Mars in Aquarius, Rahu in Aries, Saturn in Gemini, Jupiter in Leo, Ketu-Mercury-Sun conjunction in Libra, Venus in Scorpio and Moon in Sagittarius. The JDU got birth with dasha balance of Venus which gave them power in the state very soon in the assembly elections in November 2005. Venus dasha run till November 2016 and now they are under Sun-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari. Sun and Mercury are in the 10th house of power which are likely to give them an advantage during assembly elections.

On the other hand Lalu Yadav’s RJD has relatively weak horoscope. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) was formed on 5 July 1997 when Virgo lagna was rising. Mars is in Virgo, Jupiter is in Capricorn, Ketu in Aquarius, Saturn in Pisces, Sun and Moon are in Gemini, Venus and Mercury are in Cancer and Rahu is in Leo. The RJD were born with balance dasha of Jupiter which is in the 5th house in Raja Yoga as it is in mutual aspect with lagna lord Mercury and 9th lord Venus. But in Jupiter-Rahu dasha in Vimshottari this party lost power in assembly elections in 2005. Rahu is in the 12th house of losses. Now party is in Saturn maha dasha which is in the 7th house in mutual aspect with 8th lord Mars. The period of Saturn-Mars in Vimshottari is running which do not give any Raja Yoga for Virgo lagna. Party supremo Lalu Yadav or some other senior leaders may face serious health issues as per this bad dasha in the horoscope of RJD.

In the Leo lagna birth chart of Tejashvi Yadav the 10th lord (career) Venus is in the 2nd house (family) and is getting the aspects of Mars and Saturn which shows a career of politics from the family. The 5th lord Jupiter from the 10th house also aspect the 10th lord Venus. He is under the Maha Dasha of Saturn at present which as the 7th a kendra lord is in the 5th house of minister post. But since Saturn is also the lord of 6th house so he had to face a court case in 2017 when CBI and ED started its investigation in a money laundering case of during the time when his father Lalo Ladav was the chief minister of Bihar. It was in Saturn Dasha and Mercury Anter Dasha when he had to face this court case in which he got a relief from Delhi High court in 2018 after a court judgement that ‘he could not have played a role in money laundering as the matter is pertaining to year 2004 when he was just 14 years of age as per his school records’.

Tejashvi Yadav is the leader of opposition at present and during the up coming assembly polls in Bihar in November this year he would be under Saturn Dasha Venus Anter Dasha and Rahu Pratyanter Dasha. Venus is debilitated in Rashi chart but is strong in Navamsha chart as it is there in the sign of Mercury getting the aspect of Mercury it self. But the Pratyanter Dasha lord Rahu is not forming any Raja Yoga but since its depositor Saturn is in the 5th house so he will do very well in the election and his party will give a tough context to the ruling BJP and JDU alliance.

At that time he was under Moon-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari in his Gemini lagna horoscope. Later he become the union minister in the Atal Bihar Vajpayee BJP government. That time it was Moon Dasha in Vimshottari (1994 to 2004) in his chart which is in Kemadruma Yoga. Later in Mars Dasha and Venus anter dasha in Vimshottari he swept the Bihar assembly polls with his alliance partner BJP in year 2005. Mars is the lord of 6^th and 11^th house in the 10^th house of power with 5^th lord Venus which is exalted in Pisces. Venus as the 5th lord is in mutual aspect with 9th lord Saturn in a good Raja Yoga.

Upheavals in Nitish Kumar’s political career during his Rahu maha dasha

In Rahu-Rahu Dasha in Vimshottari he resigned from the post of CM in May 2014 after his party performed poorly in the general elections in 2014. He made Jitan Ram Manjhi CM but later he again came back to the helm of affairs in February 2015 during his Rahu-Jupiter period when there was rift in the party. In the anter dasha of Jupiter he won the Bihar assembly polls in November 2015 this time with RJD led by Tejashwi Yadav as his new partner. But in July 2017 Nitish Kumar broke up with Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister, and joined the hands with BJP to form the government. Now in Rahu-Mercury Dasha in Vimshottari (October 2019 to May 2022) he will be contesting to become the chief minister again with BJP as his party’s major alliance partner. In Dashamasha Rahu and Mercury are associated with Kendra lord Jupiter at favourable 5/11 axis which is good for him.

Annual horoscope of Nitish Kumar for completed year 69

Nitish Kumar’s annual horoscope is much stronger as compare to Tejashwi Yadav. In his annual horoscope the 9th house of birth chart, which is Aquarius, is rising. The 9th house rising in the annual horoscope is highly auspicious. Muntha is in the 2nd house and get the aspect of 10th lord Mars. The Muntha lord Jupiter is in the 11th house of gains with 10th lord Mars. The 7th lord is in the lagna with 5th lord Mercury which is a Raja Yoga.

In Yogini Dasa Nitish Kumar is under Bhramari Dasha who’s lord is Mars which is favorable for him. The Bhramari period will be running till April 2021 after which Bhadrika to follow which is ruled by Mercury. In the horoscope of Nitish Kumar Mars is in the 10^th house of power and in Dashamasha it is exalted. So Bhramari Dasha is good for Nitish Kumar which will allow him to get reelected as the Chief Minister of Bihar.

However, the transiting Saturn and Jupiter in the 8^th house from his Janma lagna are indicating a surprise upheavals for him in next year. He can broke away from the NDA again in 2021 because of this unfavourable transit of Saturn-Jupiter from his 8^th house of the lagna.

It was CM Ashok Ghelot who himself has formed this ‘Special Operations Group’ of Rajasthan Police who is now probing into the charges for sedation and conspiracy to topple the state government. This didn’t go well with the supporters of Sachin Pilot who took it as an attempt to defame his leader in state politics.
