It is in the 6th house in its sign of deblitiation Aries (Mesha). Saturn beings associated with 5th lord Jupiter and 9th lord Moon comes under Raja Yoga. As per Sage Parashara any planet associated with 5th lord, 9th lord or 10th lord can given good results. Sharad Pawar won his first election in 1967 when he got elected for Maharashtra legislative assembly in 1967 at the age of just 26 years. Becoming the youngest chief minister of Maharashtra
Sharad Pawar become the chief minister of Maharashtra in July 1978 at the time when he was in Congress (U) which was a faction of Congress Party while Indira Gandhi was leading the other faction Congress (I) then after the lost of her election in 1977. It was the enigmatic Rahu-Venus dasha in Vimshottari in the horoscope of Sharad Pawar then. Venus is the 12th lord in its own sign Libra kept him at the post of chief minister for about 1 years and 214 days only. In 1984 general elections when almost the entire opposition was dismantle in the Congress wave it was Sharad Pawar who won from Baramati Lok Sabha on the ticket of Congress Socialist Party. Forming Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in 1999
In 1999 when Sharad Pawar was running under the Chiddra Dasha of Jupiter-Rahu he opposed Sonia Gandhi in the CWC meeting on the issue of her foreign nationality. Sharad Pawar took senior Congress leaders like P.A. Sangama and Tariq Anwar along with him to oppose the Sonia Gandhi’s presidency in the party who had then replaced Sita Ram Kesri in the most undemocratic manner. Sharad Pawar formed his own party NCP which later won state assembly election in coalition with Congress Party in year 1999. The Congress and NCP coalition ruled the state from 1999 to 2014. Sharad Pawar had since then concentrated mainly on the national politics during his maha dasha of Saturn which run from February 2000 to February 2019. Saturn is the lord of Navamsha and Dashamsha lagan which gave a great rise to Sharad Pawar and kept him in limelight.
Health Concern’s for Sharad Pawar and future of his party NCP
Sharad Pawar was quite successful during his tenure as minister of Agriculture and minister of Defense in the Congress led UPA government of Manmohan Singh from May 2004 to May 2004. Although he had to face many controversies and he also suffered from serious health issues. It was the maha dasha of Saturn in his horoscope which is placed in the 6th house in mutual aspect with 6th lord and lagna lord Mars. Saturn as the 4th lord in the 6th house in mutual aspect with 6th lord Mars explains the nefarious land deals and controversies as sports administrator. It also shows his serious health issues which were almost fatal for him. In the Dashamsha chart of Sharad Pawar the 10th lord is Venus which falls in the 6th house of disputes though the aspect of lagna lord Saturn on the Venus is a Raja Yoga there.
In early 2002 Sharad Pawar suffered from mouth cancer because of excessive chewing of tobacco which he still regret. It was the dasha of Saturn-Saturn in the horoscope of Sharad Pawar then. I have already explained above how Saturn while giving a ‘Neecha Bhanga Yoga’ to Sharad Pawar has to be so dangerous for his health. Saturn is retrograde so it become more malefic in giving a serious disease to him. It is the benefic aspect of Jupiter on the 8th house of Trimshamsha that saved his life then. The 5th lord Venus and 9th lord Mercury in Trimshamsha are in their own sign which is also a saving grace here protecting him from a life threatening disease like cancer.
Now Sharad Pawar is under Mercury-Mercury dasha in Vimshottari since February 2002. Mercury is functional malefic for Scorpio lagna horoscope. It is in enemy sign Scorpio and is in the 8th house from his natal Moon in Aries showing the possibility of some serious illness. In Navamasa Mercury get the aspects of both Saturn and Mars which is ominous. Mercury-Mercury-Venus will be running from August 2019 to January 2020 which shows loss of his party in coming Maharashtra assembly elections in 2019.
In Chara Dasa Aquarius-Scorpio is running from August 2019 to June 2020. Aquarius is the 12th house from his Karakamsha which is Pisces. The Scorpio has his Atamakaraka Sun with Darakaraka Mercury. What is the future of Sharad Pawar’s NCP then ?
I have also examined the horoscope of Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule ( 30 June 1969, 11:00 am at Pune, Maharashtra) which is good but a Raja Yoga in her chart is visible from year 2024 only when she will be under Jupiter-Mercury period in her Simha lagna horoscope. I have with me the horoscope of Ajit Pawar ( 22 July 1959, 13:42 hours at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra) who is the son of Sharad Pawar’s brother. Ajit Pawar was the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra from October 2012 to September 2014. His horoscope is also not showing much success until 2024. So Sharad Pawar’s party NCP is likely to sit in the opposition after the Maharashtra state assembly elections in 2019.
