Dr. Nimai Banerjee
19 March 1947, 21:30 at Cuttack, Orissa
Longitude 85E 50’ and Latitude 20N 30’
Balance of Dasha in Vimshottari: Mars 4 years 0 months 0 days
Karakamsha lagna: Virgo , Gulika- Aquarius
In the Tula (Libra) lagna horoscope of Dr. Nimai Banerjee the lagna lord Venus is with 10th lord Moon in the 4th house and they are in mutual aspect with 4th and 5th lord Saturn making a great Parashari Raja Yoga. The conjunction or mutual aspect between the lagna and 10th lord is a yoga for establishing an institution or a venture. If in this yoga the 2nd , 5th and 9th houses/lords are strong then native is born with a mission. Jupiter and Ketu in the 2nd house from the lagan shows his amazing predictive powers. The conjunction of 2nd and 7th lord Mars with 9th and 12th lord Mercury in the 5th house is a great yoga for spiritual practices. As per Sage Parashara the 5th house signifies ‘ Yantram, Mantram , Tatha Vidya Avam Prabandhkam’ . So the education of all kinds, Yantra , Mantra and management (Prabandhan) skills should be seen from the 5th house only as per Sage Parashara.
See the strong 5th house in the horoscope of Dr. Banerjee. The 9th lord is in the 5th house in both Rashi and Navamsha has to give him divine blessing of Jyotisha and other spiritual sciences. The Karakamsha lagna is Virgo from where the 5th house has Moon and Venus which is a yoga for authorship as per Jaimini system.
Now I will discuss some of the major events of Dr. Banerjee’s life using divisional horoscopes of Parashari system.
Dasha Sequence in Vimshottari:
Mars up to 19 March 1951
Rahu from 1951 to 1969
Jupiter from 1969 to 1985
Saturn from 1985 to 2004
Mercury from 18 March 2004 ……..Death Mercury-Saturn-Mercury dasha on 9th of April 2019.
Birth in renowned family: Dr. Nimai Banerjee was born to mother Smt. Sarajubala Devi, who was the younger sister of a famous IAS officer in Orissa, and father Shri Surendranath Banerjee- a renowned homeopathy doctor and well respected teacher. In the Rashi chart the strong Sun, Moon, 4th house/lord and 9th house/lord confirm his birth in a famous family. In the Dwadamsha chart the 9th lord Jupiter is in Gaja Kesari Yoga and 4th lord Venus is with exalted Saturn in good Raja Yoga.
Dr. Nimai Banerjee was one among 6 brother-sisters. He had one elder brother, one elder sister and two younger brother and one younger sister. Mars and Jupiter are the Karaka of co-born which are strong in Rashi, Navamsha and Dreshkkan charts.
Early death of Father: His father passed away on 19th of July 1971 when he was going under Jupiter-Saturn in Vimshottari. The 9th house of father is in ‘Paap-Kartari’ yoga in Rashi chart. Rahu in the 8th house and Saturn in the 10th house are flaking the 9th house of father. Sun is in the 6th house of Rashi chart. In Dwadamsha chart the Ketu is in the 9th house under the aspect of Mars has to give short life to father. If affliction to the malefic planets to the 9th house/lord repeats in Rashi, Navamsha and Dwadamsha then native can lose his father at an early age. The dasha was of Jupiter-Saturn in Vimshottari. Saturn is in the 10th house which is the 2nd house from the 9th house of father in Rashi chart. In Dwadamsha the Saturn is the lord of 7th house becoming a Maraka for father again.
After the death of his biological father Dr. Banerjee was adopted by Radhacharan Banerjee- A renowned social worker and a genius (a staunch Vaishnav). He lost his adoptive father Mr. Radhacharan on 22 April 1984 when he was running under Jupiter-Rahu in Vimshottari. Jupiter is the lord of 3rd house which is 7th (Maraka) from the 9th house of father and Rahu is in the 8th house of mourning. Rahu is getting the aspect of malefic Mars.
Marriage and teaching Job: Dr. Banerjee married early, when he was just 22 years of age, on 30 June 1969 to Kanti Banerjee during his Jupiter-Jupiter dasha in Vimshottari. Jupiter is in the 2nd house of marriage in Rashi chart and in Navamsha it is conjoined with lagna lord Venus. Benefic planets in Kendra in both Rashi and Navamsha has to give him an early marriage. The connection between the 7th lord with 9th lord in both Rashi and Navamsha explains why his wife become an inspiration for him to learn astrology and start an astrological monthly in later years. Dr. Banerjee was a teacher then and promoted to the head master in 1973 during Jupiter-Saturn in Vimshottari.
Started Astrological Magazine: It was the Jupiter-Saturn in Vimshottari when in 1973 he started Odiya monthly Bhagyalipi and begun his practice of professional astrology. The 5th lord (authorship) Saturn in the 10th house of career getting the aspects of two benefic planets Venus and Jupiter has to bless him with a great writing career. In Dashamsha the 10th lord Jupiter is in the 3rd house of writing and publication. Saturn as the 9th lord is in the ascendant in Dashamsha chart shows his spiritual writing career.
House Constructed and rise in career : In the Jupiter-Venus dasha (from January 1977 to September 1979) he started constructed his own house. His professional practice in astrology and writing career has by now started flourishing. Jupiter is in the ‘Dhana Sathan’ 2nd house of wealth. Venus as the lord of lagna (self) in the 4th house ( property/home) is with 10th lord Moon (efforts) and getting the aspect of 4th lord Saturn has to give him a house with self-earned money. In Chathurathamsha chart the Cancer sign is rising with Jupiter becoming the lord of 9th house. Venus, the sub period lord, is placed in the 4th house along with lagan lord Moon showing the comfort of new house. Dr. Banerjee moved from a rented house to his own house during Jupiter-Venus dasha in 1979.
In 1981 during Jupiter-Moon dasha he started English astrological monthly ‘The Planets and Forecast’. See the Moon involve in great Raja Yoga in the Rashi chart. In Dashamsha Moon is strongly placed in the lagan.
Birth of Children : Dr. Banerjee had total 6 children out of which the first progeny, a son, was short lived. His children were born during Jupiter-Jupiter (daughter on 12 April 1970), Jupiter-Saturn (daughter on 25 June 1973), Jupiter-Venus (son on 27 April 1977) , Jupiter-Venus (son 31 January 1979) and Jupiter-Moon (daughter 23 October 1980). All the children were born in the maha dasha of Jupiter which is natural Karaka for child birth. Jupiter is the lord of Saptamsha lagna. Notice the sub period of Saturn, Venus and Moon in which children of Dr. Banerjee were born. Saturn is the lord of 5th house in Rashi chart and is in mutual aspect with the Venus and Moon both. Saturn, the 5th lord, is getting the benefic aspect of Jupiter gave him more number of children. In Saptamsha the Saturn is in the Saptamsha lagna, Moon is the lord of 5th house and Venus is getting the aspect of Jupiter which is the lord of Saptamsha lagna. So the birth of children in the sub period of Saturn, Venus and Moon is explained astrologically.
Astonishing achievements in Saturn maha dasha: The maha dasha of Yoga Karaka Saturn from 1985 to 2004 was the best period in the spiritual and astrological career of Dr. Banerjee. He met his ‘Mantra’ Guru during this period only. He devoted himself to the ‘Dashamaha-Vidya-Sadhana’ after taking the guidance of his Guru. He wrote many books on astrology, spiritual subjects and also on poetry in both English and Odiya language. He successfully predicted many important national and internationals events. He was an expert in giving political and weather forecasts. Saturn is Yoga Karaka for Tula lagna. In Navamsha it again become a Yoga Karaka where Taurus sign is rising. In Dashamsha it become the lord of 9th house as Gemini sign is rising there. Vary rarely you would find such strong Saturn which become so auspicious in Rashi, Navamsha and Dashamasha.
In Vimshamsha chart, which is seen for spiritual progress, the Saturn is exalted. It is in the 3rd house there with 2nd and 11th lord Mercury. Saturn is getting the benefic aspect of 5th lord Jupiter showing the blessing of divine showering on him. The maha dasha of Saturn and Mercury both were proved excellent for his spiritual growth. He also made some very intelligent disciples during the dashas of Saturn and Mercury. Saturn is the lord of 5th house in Rashi and Mercury in the 5th house shows his students which are now practicing astrology and other spiritual subject with success.
In Shashtiamsha Saturn is in own sign Capricorn with Sun. It is in mutual aspect with an exalted Jupiter. The Shashtiamsha chart of Dr. Banerjee has great planetary aliment. An exalted Jupiter here aspect the lagan, Moon and lagna lord Mars. The lagna is in ‘Shubha-Kartari’ yoga as it is flanked by Venus and Mercury the two benefic planets. Strong planetary position in Shashtiamsha increase the overall strength of a horoscope.
Death of mother and wife: During the dasha of Saturn-Jupiter Dr. Banerjee lost both his mother and wife. His mother passed away on 2 May 2002 and wife left him after few months on 22 January 2003. This was a great emotional setback for him. Saturn is the 7th house from the Moon (mother) and also from the Venus (wife). Saturn in Navamsha is in mutual aspect with the 7th lord (Maraka) Mars. In Dwadamsha it is the 7th lord itself. So it become Maraka for both wife and mother. But why these two sad events took place in the sub period of Jupiter? In Rashi and Navamsha both Jupiter is functional malefic as it take the lordship of bad houses. For Tula and Vrishabha natives Jupiter is the most malefic planet. In case of Dr. Banerjee it is in the Maraka Sathan the 2nd house along with Ketu. In Dwadamsha it is with Moon (mother) and get the bad aspects of both Mars and Saturn.
If we notice the affliction of planets on the 8th and 12th house of Dr. Banerjee’s chart we can trace the yogas for losing wife early. The 7th house is in ‘Paap-Kartari’ of Sun and Rahu. The 8th house has Rahu getting the 4th aspect from Mars. The 12th house get the aspects from Sun, Mars and Saturn. All these makes the yogas for become a widower.
Illness and leaving the mortal world: He stated having some cough related aliments during Mercury-Jupiter dasha from April 2016 to July 2018. Mercury is with 7th and 2nd lord Mars which is a Maraka planet. Jupiter is in the 2nd house in watery sign Scorpio along with malefic Ketu. He was doing intense ‘Sadhana’ during this period and slowly he started giving the responsibility of managing his publications to his two sons. In Mercury-Saturn-Mercury period on the 9th of April during the days of Navaratri he left his moral body for the heavenly adobe of Goddess Durga. He never had any serious illness and died at home only. The souls who leave their bodies during the dashas of 5th, 9th and/or 12th lords are headed for superior worlds. The direction of such conscious souls are upwards towards higher side of godliness. Dr. Banerjee left this world during the maha dasha of 9th lord Mercury and anter dasha of 5th lord Saturn both the lords of Dharma Trikona in Rashi and Navamsha charts. In Vimshamsha the Saturn and Mercury both are getting the aspect of 5th lord Jupiter shows astrologically the piousness of this departed soul.
I got a chance to hear the voice of this legendary astrologer on 25th of April 2015 when Milan Banerjee the son of Dr. Nimai Banerjee call me up and said that his father wants to speak to me. Dr. Nimai Banerjee told me that he has read my prediction about a possible earthquake around 20th of April in the North-East direction of India affecting Nepal, UP and Bihar. A strong earthquake had shaken Nepal on the 25th of April when he gave me a call. Dr. Banerjee told me that he read my article when his son Milan has informed him about this successful prediction of earthquake. This prediction of mine was published in the April 2015 issue of Express Star Teller magazine in article ‘Forecasting Trends for the Summer Season’. Dr. Banerjee was quite impress to see the application of Koorma Chakra and Sangatta Rashi chakra along with Lunar charts in my article for making a correct forecast of an earthquake with its possible location. He blessed me for my future researches in the subject of mundane astrology.
